Beşiktaş transfers quality names to the offensive line. Cenk Tosun, Jackson Muleka and Wout Weghorst brought Beşiktaş's offensive line to an excellent level. This offensive line is far above the quality of the Turkish Super League. I don't think Beşiktaş will have a problem producing scores this year, but I can't say the same for their defense. They parted ways with many important names playing in defense this year. Domagoj Vida's contract has expired, Welinton Souza Silva is out of favor, Rıdvan Yılmaz is about to be transferred to another team; danger bells are ringing on the defensive line..

Honestly I am seeing three big clubs making great transfers, Fener getting Rossi, Trabzon gettign Trezeguet, Besiktas getting Weghorst or however it's spelled. These are all 10+ million euro valuated players and that will definitely make a big difference, when you have such a high priced player (nearly 200 million Turkish lira) then it must be quite amazing to know that you are solid for that position unless something changes.

But, Galatasaray hasn't done anything yet, they are seriously just "waiting" if you ask me. They should be doing something already, we are in July and teams already started their friendlies at this stage, if you are not ready already, it's going to be tough to be ready later on.

I'm not sure about Weghorst to make as big impact as Mario Gomez made for Besiktas. I can't oppose the fact that Weghorst is a really capable centre-forward now. Maybe he didn't have a good season the last time but this can happen for any scorer from time to time. His general performance in his career has been quite decent. Even if he doesn't become as solid as Mario Gomez he can still score many goals and contribute to the team significantly. He would perform better than Cenk or Kenan at least.  Grin

We have to congratulate the team managment of Beşiktaş. They are doing very well for this season. They got rid of players with unnecessary salaries and high salaries. We can say that they are trying to find players with suitable prices for the necessary places and they are successful. For now, they are doing better than Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. I don't know about Trabzonspor or other teams like Başakşehir, but I haven't seen them make very good transfers yet. If Besiktas can finish a couple of more deals like this, we can say they are the winners of this transfer season.

It is indeed an important news for besiktas fans. I think Wout  Weghorst is an excelent striker for Turkish Super League. They also got Cenk Tosun as second striker. There is also a name like Ghezzal in the team. İn addition to, there are rumors that Beşiktaş has transferred Muleka. I think things are going good for Besiktaş.

He may give Mario Gomez performance as most people expect him that, I hope it won't put extra pressure on him. I believe he's a good professional and can carry the score. He will get 2.8 million Euro and Beşiktaş won't give any loan fee. That's a fair amount as main striker is the most important part of the team. I don't think Beşiktaş can transfer him after loan end though, it's unrealistic to expect them to pay over 10 million Euro for any player. It can't happen financially if you think about Turkish economy.
Now we are waiting for Muleka to be announced officially as today we saw the news that agreement happened. The transfer fee would be 3.3 million Euro which is fair. Muleka is only 22 years old so Beşiktaş can sell him for a very high price in the future. Seems like a good investment.

I think Wout Weghorst will make an impact like Mario Gomez. He will be very useful for Beşiktaş, but 10 million EURO is a huge amount of money. Too much money for Turkish footbaal clubs.

Also, Muleka arrived in Istanbul today. Beşiktaş have a very good offensive line. Beşiktaş have both young and talented players.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/besiktas-present-weghorst-no-loan-fee-for-burnleys-record-transfer/view/news/407334

Wout Weghorst has been signed by Besiktas on a loan deal. It is a really favourable deal for them too as they aren't going to pay any loan fee to Burnley. Instead, they are going to pay his full salary which is 2.8 million euros. I think that Besiktas have made a good signing because Weghorst is a decent striker. He couldn't perform well for Burnley but his performance before going there was quite good. Besiktas had Cenk Tosun and Kenan Karaman before this signing so they can be more confident after this one.
I am really wondering how this transfer is going to turn out. I generally dislike loaning expensive footballers as I do believe they don't motivate well into their team, they generally leave their brain behind with owner club. But some loaned players love to shine in new team and get fan base and later, get nice deal. Beşiktaş has very passionate fan groups so Weghorst should! play good there. He may be loved in couple of weeks if he shows passionate play.

I saw so many comparisons and videos about Weghorst and Mario Gomez, people are being extremely dumb sometimes. What would be the point of that extreme videos of how they are like the same person. That can't possibly achieve anything. Just hope that he will be successful like Gomez and let it go. Why so many videos and tweets. If same thing would happen to a player from Africa or Asia, that would be quite racist. Imagine getting a player from Ivory Coast and calling him Drogba all the time. No he is not Drogba! They are same cuz they have similar physical attributes? I understand fans mean no harm but that is so dumb and pointless. Only thing that sort of thing can accomplish is putting pressure on Weghorst for no reason. Actually it is so dumb that I hope Weghorst would just don't care at all.

Alanyaspor just announced 2 new transfers for following season. One of them is Slovenian Jure Balkovec. This left back was playing for Fatih Karagümrük. People can quickly realise him, he was consistent last season until he was injured.
Other guy, Cem Çelik, young talent from Menemenspor. Playing at midfield. I think he will be at bench mostly next season to find opportunity to shine.

Wout Weghorst is apparently close to a move to besiktas istanbul. under discussion is a loan of the 29-year-old striker, who is under contract with premier league relegated club fc burnley. according to turkish media reports, however, besiktas will receive a purchase option in the amount of €14 million

It looks like Christian Fassnacht transfer would be unlikely. Young Boys want 4 million Euro while Beşiktaş offer only half of it. Fassnacht would be a great addition as he can play in every position in midfield. But Beşiktaş won't give 4 million to any player under this economic circumstances. Fassnacht only played in Switzerland and he didn't see any matches in more competitive leagues so that's a question mark on him. Beşiktaş can't gamble on players, they need a direct positive contributor to game. He is in his prime age and he should show his top performance. It will be a nice transfer if Young Boys agree to reduce the transfer fee.
According to latest news Beşiktaş increased their offer for %50 so making it 3 million euros. I think he may still worth the cost if he can hit first eleven. Yes he seems like inexperienced player although I think Turkish league is not something that hard for a player to get used to. There are many South Americans or African quickly getting alone even though there are cultural differences. Midfielders are always worth if found cheap.

After exciting end of last season now Besiktas is doing better work for this season because with their work in this transfer window and having some exiting players in squad look like they are going to win title with most chances Galatasaray is also having same feelings, but they need tough decisions which can bring them in suitable place after having disasters last season.

I was following this young talented guy from Switzerland who is having tag of just 4 million which is not possible for Besiktas because their financial situation is not good and Young Boys are not going to cut anything from this price so most chances he will stay in Switzerland and play for his club for another season and Besiktas need to look some other way for bringing more youngsters.

I don't know how you followed, but Fassnacht is not a young player anymore. The man was born in 1993. He needs to be at the top of his career. He is at his best, most productive year. He has never been outside of Switzerland in his career. Now, when he has such an opportunity, he should use it.
If he comes, he wins himself. He takes an important step in his career and gains a new experience from a different league, and also fights for the Super League championship.

According to the news in RMC Sport, Rennes wants to transfer Fenerbahce's successful defender Kim Min-Jae. I keep seeing this rumour in multiple places. I can see that Kim Min-Jae would be wanted by a lot of teams but he might have been the best player of Fenerbahce last season, they should never let him go in my opinion. He made a good impact for them and even made Fenerbahce gained some attention from east asia, of course, mostly South Korea. He was not only a good performer, but also a good marketing option. In addition to Rennes, Naples and Marseille are also interested in Kim Min-Jae, whose name has been in transfer claims for a while. However, Marseille is one step behind other teams. I don't know why only french teams are interested but Fenerbahce should let him go anyway.

The latest news show that Weghorst is coming to Istanbul tonight and the deal is made. He even post an Instagram story when he was boarding a jet plane and there was a black eagle sign in his story. Which means it is almost certain. This is very very good news for Besiktas. They were not only missing hugely on the offensive side a striker but also they are getting a good player who can be successful in Super League. Also good for morale for the team and fans. The only biggest position Besiktas lacks is a good defender. Preferably Turkish, because of the rules. Other than that, things are going good for Besiktas. With a healthy Cenk Tosun, they can have a good offense.
It is indeed an important news for besiktas fans as you said their last year offensive performance was somehow disapointing their attack was the weakest from those of the top six in the super league weghorst is a player who played in the high level and he is an excelent striker am sure he will be one of the top goal scorers, they also should considering some defenders since their defense is also weak they conceided 48 goals in 38 games last season.

It was important for the player to reach the camp period, this transfer was completed before it took longer. Beşiktaş found their starter striker. They also got Cenk Tosun as second striker. However, since Güven Yalçın is gone, it's necessary to get another striker. The entire season cannot be completed with only two forwards. A left wing transfer is also expected. The Muleka name is on the agenda again. If he comes, there will be a solid forward line. There is also a name like Ghezzal in the team. A good enough squad for the league. Remember there is no European competition this season for Beşiktaş.

Also, Galatasaray wants to transfer Erik Botheim. Erik Botheim and Ola Solbakken are Norwegians. And friends from the Norwegian national team.

Erik Botheim and Solbakken have already created excitement among Galatasaray fans. The transfer of both young football players is not easy. But Erik Botheim's transfer has bigger problems. We must not make mistakes in international legal matters. Galatasaray management must act carefully. Otherwise, we will tarnish our image in the international arena.

I agree with your totaly arguments. If Galatasaray make mistakes in international legal matters, It may cost 20 million Euros. It is a great danger, so Galatasaray management have to act watchfully. I hope Galatasaray gets positive results for the transfer of both players. Because indeed the Norwegian duo in attack would be something cool to see.
