It is about Galatasaray being able to afford 10 million or not. If the offer is true, there is a Saudi Arabian team that offered 20 million for him, which he should be accepting if it's all about the money and this is his job, if another company offered twice what you are making at your current company, you would not stay for a second and give your resignation letter instantly.

However, Icardi insists on getting that 10 million offer from Galatasaray which shows that he really liked it there. However, we need to remember that we haven't seen any team in Turkey offer 10 million to anyone before as far as I know, that is HUGE HUGE money for a club in Turkey and they may fail to do that, they should pay him, but if they can't, then there is nothing to do.

The contract offer by the Saudi Arabian club was actually 40 million euros a year. In addition they offered 20 million euros transfer fee to PSG as well. Normally this is all attracting to the player and his club. But for Icardi it doesn't look like he will jump for this offer right away. He is still thinking of playing for Galatasaray as long as his demands are met by them.

Galatasaray were ready to pay 7.5 million euros a year first. I don't know if they would be okay to increase this amount by 2.5 million euros. I don't even know how much they can afford really because these are really serious numbers for a Turkish team. In the end even the biggest teams have serious financial issues in this league.

Also there ara friendly match. Galatasaray will play on Wednasday July 5 with Hull City.

well, when i saw the news that galatasaray would be losing some of their good players i thought that with this friendly match i would see how they would do without some of their good players and from what i can see from the 1st half they are doing very well, already they managed to score 3 goals and conceded 1 goal, it's still the 1st half but from what i see galatasaray is being better than hull city, it's true that even on paper hull city is a very weak opponent when compared to galatasaray but we have to see that this galatasaray is not the same strong team as last season, it does not have the same cast then

I see that for Hull City it is not a very big difference. in my opinion and that this season that will start galatasaray will have a lot of difficulties to win the turkish league again, i dare say that they will not win the turkish league this season. well, there are still 45 minutes left for the friendly to end and hull city can still manage to score 2 more goals and equalize the game, something curious about this game and that two goals from galatasaray came from defense players, it could be the first game, but being a friendly and with a less strong team the attackers had to score a goal

I watched the first half of Galatasaray Hull City game yesterday. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch the second half. Galatasaray dominated the first half of match. The visiting team could not show much presence except for a goal position in the first half. I saw a lot of criticism about some of the Galatasaray players but I don't think it is necessary at this point of the season. It is only the beginning of July and this match is friendly game. Also in the second half, Okan coach played the young players.

From the game it is obvious that the missing players means a lot for Galatasaray, it is not like they were even remotely as good as they used to be last season. Remember that this team was the champion and they will be playing in the UCL and this was a second tier English club, so the difference should be high. Sure English clubs are usually better, but we are not talking about a top 10 premier league club, we are talking about a second tier league club, hence the difference should have been bigger.

Obviously this is just a friendly, so it doesn't matter, but it is obvious that they need to get some players to some positions because they have nobody there, and some players weren't there and didn't play even though they will be at the start of the season. Basically get Icardi and Parades, then do what you did last year and do not lose any players, and Galatasaray will be great again.
I saw that Galatasaray also tried a completely new line-up, as you said it was a friendly game and noone should look into it too deep. And it is only the beginning of July. Regardless of the result, in my opinion Galatasaray looked even too good. Some players already improved themselves from last year.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Arda Güler's latest news about Real Madrid yet. A lot of news said that Real Madrid won the race of Arda's transfer, for 30 m euros and he will go this year, not next year. For Arda Güler's sake, it is a good move. If he can improve himself in Real Madrid, it is quite good. I just hope this transfer finishes soon. Otherwise media is too busy with it.

Leandro Paredes would be a really solid move for Galatasaray for the midfield. As he is a decent defensive midfielder he can make their defense more reliable. Galatasaray are trying to sign a centre-forward as well on one hand. The attempts are continuing to bring back Icardi to the team. But Galatasaray's job will be really difficult at this point.

Al Shabab have offered 40 million euros per year for Icardi according to rumours. If this is true then Galatasaray's job is very difficult. However the important thing is if Icardi wants to go to Saudi Arabia already now or not. If he doesn't then Galatasaray would still have the upper hand. Besides I've heard that Icardi wants 10 million euros per year from Galatasaray. I think they shouldn't hesitate about this after watching his amazing performance for a season.
Arrival of Leandro Parede is surely going to have good sign for the Galatasaray but surely on other hand lost of Icardi is big lost with now most chances if this rumour is true about Al-Shabab then I am 100% sure he will not come here in Turkey because many players are now preferring Saudi League for the huge salaries and also things are going positive for this league as they are investing and bringing top players and coaches as well this is going to be had big problem for the Turkish League in this season or may be for the next season as well.

Galatasaray is again in good position hopefully they will be in Champions League main round for the next season, and they need to be better in defence because now it's more competitive and hard time for teams like Galatasaray in this big event hopefully they will do better than previous attempts and have good end of this season as well.

I'm not completely sure about that yet. But I'm saying this only considering some news out recently. According to those news Icardi still wants to be a part of Galatasaray as he really liked being there. He must have enjoyed his game very much there as well after scoring like 22 goals in 24 league matches.

But while there is a huge offer like this it is still doubtful whether he would choose much more money or the team he liked to play by making less money. 10 million euros per year is still a really solid contract for him of course in case he decides to stay in Europe.

Galatasaray wants to strengthen its midfield by transferring Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes. If this transfer takes place, Galatasaray will pay 3.8 million euros to Paris Saint Germain for Leandro Paredes. In additiın to, there are rumors that Galatasaray wants to transfer left-defender. Galatasaray's left-defender candidates: Angelino, Rogerio and Nuno Tavares.

I agree with your opinion. Paredes can make Galatasaray's defense more reliable. It would be a really solid move for a Champions League match.

Galatasaray will face at Hull City at tonight for friendly game. Galatasaray's starting XI against Hull City: Batuhan, Dubois, Kaan, Emin, Kazımcan, Torreira, Berkan, Yunus, Cicaldau, Mertens, Barış. Also Hull City's starting XI against Galatasaray: Lo-Tutala, Coyle, Jones, Leake, McLoughlin, Docherty, Seri, Ozan Tufan, Allahyar, Delap, Tetteh.

Galatasaray's next match will be played on Monday, July 10 with Kisvárda FC. Then will be played on Friday, July 14 with FK Austria Wien.

They are doing the logical thing, let's think of it as an investment in the future, they know the potential in the players and they will transfer them for a much higher amount than they are worth, so they put such a clause so that they can play for a long time in the team and no one will try to buy them.We can say that Barcelona is following a good way as a transfer policy. When they find such a talent from Turkish teams, we can say that it is a matter of time for them to grab it.
I wish Arda would play for Fenerbahçe for a long time, but this is not possible because the management of the team is a disgrace at the moment. These things were not considered when the contract was made and Arda will be transferred very cheaply, perhaps much, much cheaper than its value. It is not good for teams to go so cheaply when there are a limited number of such talented players in our country.

Real Madrid and Barcelona both have reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe by the way. Fenerbahçe asked from both clubs to loan Arda to them for one season at least. Both clubs seem okay with this however there is one serious problem about this. Arda doesn't want this formula. He just wants to go there and not to come back to the Turkish League right away.

Some fans are really disappointed that he doesn't want this for at least one year. To be honest I would have also liked to see him continuing to play for us. My hope about him from now on is to see him improving his skills regularly and see him working hard to be an important part of a big European club in this situation.

I read today in a speculation that Merih Demiral was on Fenerbahçe's agenda. I don't know whether Merih Demiral will return to Turkey. But if Fenerbahce succeeds in this transfer, it will strengthen its squad.

Galatasaray and Beşiktaş, on the other hand, are very quiet in the transfer process for now.
I think it would be a great transfer if Merih Demiral comes back to Fenerbahçe.He can do very good things both because of having such a talented stopper who is a national team player in the squad and because he is a career footballer.Merih Demiral had a troubled period when he left Fenerbahçe and when I read the same news, I saw a news saying that ali koç and ismail kartal said "let's forget everything and start again".
I hope it is true and such a transfer will add strength to Fenerbahçe. It will definitely be a great advantage in terms of domestic rotation and more foreign players can be bought.

If that rumor with Merih Demiral is true its definitely bad move for his career. He is too young to return Türkiye to continue his career in low profile. He should be doing much better in European teams. Well Turkish players are nearly all quick homesick. They just can't live without ever visiting İstanbul or İzmir. Maybe families influence their career too. This is main reason why we can't have very very high level players. Talents are wasted in home with relaxed lifestyle.

Barcelona are intentionally putting this high release clause to all of these young players to show that they won't be sold to any team. It has been like this for Pedri and Gavi. And it looks like Barcelona have made the same decision about Arda Güler as well. It feels really good to see a Turkish talent having an opportunity like this to improve himself more.

However I would have really liked to see Arda continuing to play for us for a couple of more years at least. We don't see this much talented young players in our country often. When we have such player this time we can't hold them here after big teams make offers for them.

The Turkish League continues to get worse in quality and I really don't know when we can reverse this.

I have watched Ada Guler several times and I can confirm that he's a massive talent. It would be difficult for Fenerbahce to hold on to a talent like that for a long time. When I watched him last season, I was convinced he wouldn't remain in the Turkish league for a very long time. I even expected the drama surrounding him this summer to be more than this because he is that good.

The deal with Barcelona keeps him in Turkey for one more season which is a good thing for all parties. Its good for Fenerbahce because they have one more year to enjoy this wonderkid and one more year to scout for replacement. Good for Guler because it gives him one more year to improve and find himself more while its good for Barcelona because another season will most likely creat space in the right wing or the midfield for Guler.

Arda Guler is a great talent. I can't believe that the transfer fee determined by Fenerbahçe for Arda Güler is so low. It is very difficult for them to keep Arda Güler in the team. In the news reflected in the press, it is said that he will play in Fenerbahçe for 1 more year. I don't want him to go without a championship in Fenerbahçe. Arda Güler means a lot to Fenerbahçe fans. I hope he stays in Fenerbahçe for a few more seasons.

I think he is more talented than many young stars. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Milan made offers. I do not know the details, but we will hear the name Arda Güler for a long time.

Arda Güler is said to prefer Real Madrid. If true, the transfer will take place for 20 million Euros. It will be a disgraceful transfer case in the name of Turkish football history. Elvir Balic was transferred from Fenerbahçe to Real Madrid for 19.2 million dollars in the 1999-2000 season. Compare the time that has passed and think that if the transfer happens to the figures that are said, it will be a disgraceful transfer for Fenerbahce. Arda Güler did not choose to be a legend in Fenerbahçe like Alex and preferred Real Madrid, one of the biggest clubs in the world which is the dream of every football player today. I do not feel sorry for the young football player, after all, he is a very talented player and Fenerbahçe's capacity is clear. Everyone's sense of belonging is different and Fenerbahçe is just one step for Arda. Good luck to Arda in his new team.

Parades and Sanches looks like they are both possible for us. I am not saying we will get both, but they are not out of reach for the time being, they are close to our level enough for us to get them. Morata also looks like the Icardi alternative if we fail to get Icardi. I wonder what happened with him, we know that we are trying to get him, but there isn't that much talks, eventually one day out of nowhere either we will get him or someone else will be, but until then they are keeping it a very well secret I assume. The other big thing I wonder was that we were looking to sell Boey and Nellson and seems like that's not happening, or at least not right now, I wonder what will happen with them, because that's what we trusted to do for a lot of money to use for most of these transfers.

The problem with the release clause thing is that according to La Liga rules, you HAVE TO put a release clause into every single contract, of course it can be anything you want, it can be 1 euro, it can be 1 billion euro, it doesn't matter what it is but it has to be there. That is why they have it for all their players and not just pedri/gavi/arda, that is just the way it goes.

When you have young superstars that means you do not want to sell them, you want to keep them and looking how putting 1 billion makes sure that nobody can buy them without your consent, that is going to be a good thing. Or, even if you want to sell the player, you can sell whatever the price you put on them, not what the release clause dictates because that's too high.

There is some new update on Arda Güler transfer to Barcelona according to what I have heard of. Barcelona have already signed a pre-agreement deal with him. The contract is expected to last 5 years and Barcelona will put a release clause of 1 billion euros into the contract. They have done the same exact same thing about release clause for Pedri and Gavi as well. However it is said that Fenerbahçe will still keep Arda for one last season now and next summer he will join Barcelona.

I wonder what Barcelona will plan about Arda in the long term. While there are Pedri and Gavi in the club his job is really hard. Loaning him would also be an option as long as the club choice is decent.
The same contract clauses are circulating on social media. It seems that he will most probably transfer to Barcelona. If barcelona want to sell pedri or gavi, we can say that there will be a chance for arda güler.Otherwise, it may be difficult for him to find a chance to play right now, but it is not impossible. After all, you buy a player like arda güler and you put a contract termination fee of 1 billion euros, that is, a release clause.Otherwise, you would not play such a player and you would cause a loss of value.
I would like him to stay at Fenerbahce for one more year. If he is going to transfer to Barcelona, Ali koç can handle it because he is close friends with the president of Barcelona if I'm not mistaken.
