The new president of the Turkish Football Federation was elected and İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu became the president.
Change is good, let's see what the new president will do.
His first act was to change the foreigner rule.
His second act was to call for the resignation of directors on boards.
I think he has done a good job for now, I hope Turkish football will come to better places in the future.

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu has previously served as Trabzonspor president. He had problems with Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç. Ali Koç has the power to say anything to anyone. But he couldn't answer İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. In this respect, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu is an interesting person. He was able to silence even someone as powerful as Ali Koç. I think Turkish football needed a president with authority. Mehmet Ekşi was someone everyone made fun of. I hope he will be fair. Because we all need this very much.

Change is good. I always believe in that.  Smiley  I didn't like Mehmet Büyükekşi even a bit during his time in that position. He doesn't know anything about football. He was just killing it during his time but thankfully he lost the election.

As for İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, I don't think he is a great fit for this job either. We all know his past in the end. I can agree on only one thing about him. He really gave a good speech and I think it also had some effect on his being elected. I really want the football in Turkey to reach a higher level one day like disciplined and more quality. But maybe I want too much as there is still nobody to make radical changes.
Normally, change is good, but as I said, I have a feeling that it will not be good because what happens normally is not normal, I hope I am wrong. What happened in the elections is not visible. Yes, Mehmet Büyükekşi was not qualified to be the head of the Turkish football federation and he did a lot of damage to football in Turkey. There are only two people in the elections and they say choose. This is not an election, it is just a show.

The voting process for the Turkish Football Federation presidential elections has started.
There are two candidates for the presidency.
İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu and Mehmet Büyükekşi
Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç stated that they would vote blank.
Let's see who will be the TFF president, I hope Mehmet Büyükekşi goes and İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu becomes the president, we can try that too.
The election of the new president of the Turkish football federation has been completed although the voting is a little later than the specified schedule but the voting process has been running smoothly until it is completed, currently old president, Mehmet Buyukeksi who previously served as the president of TFF has now been relieved of his duties after the audit and the election of a new president was carried out, Ibrahim Hacıosmanoglu managed to win the election by defeating Mehmet Buyukeksi in the election held today in Angkara, Ibrahim Hacıosmanoglu victory is one of the fresh winds for Turkish football today if indeed he is committed to all the visions and missions that he has conveyed before,  Ibrahim Hacıosmanoglu who became the new president of Turkish football will serve until 2027 and we all hope that he will be able to bring a lot of changes to Turkish football, especially the Turkish Super League which currently looks chaotic and needs a lot of repairs after many cases that have happened so far.

Turkish football got rid of Büyükekşi, the fetö member, but Hacıosmanoğlu, who replaced him, also has a long notorious record. Politics in football never ends. There were no other candidates, other candidates had withdrawn. Good luck for Turkish football. Nothing can be as bad as last season. I hope we can normalize a bit more, referees can't influence the outcome of the matches too much. Football needs to come out of chaos and return to normal.

Exactly, the current situation is just like that.  Smiley  Hacıosmanoğlu also mentioned how much he was close with the president Erdoğan during his speech before the voting started. Politics would never be kept aside from football in this country. Unless the current mentality changes of course but it hasn't changed for so many years in this country, so...

I'm glad to see Hamit Altıntop also leaving by the way.  Grin  He was thinking like Turkish football needed him you know. I don't think the same as him unfortunately. Turkish football doesn't need pretentious people.

Today will be Fenerbahce's last friendly against Hull City. Acun Ilıcalı, who has been appointed as vice-president of Fenerbahçe, is likely to defeat Hull City in this match. Fenerbahçe will play its first Champions League match in about 5 days. Fenerbahçe will face Lugano away from home and I don't think that the starting 11 will be very different from last season's starting 11. Maybe one or two players will change.

Fenerbahçe announced the signings of Cenk Tosun, Oguz Aydin and Saint Maximin one by one. Cenk tosun transfer is probably an important character for the reserve rotation. As for the transfer of Oğuz Aydın, we can say that he is a player who can play on the wing or in the midfield when someone leaves. As for Maximin, I think he is a player who can dominate the Super League if he makes a good start.

Fenerbahçe made good transfers but they still couldn't bring a star player, they haven't fulfilled most of the promises they made in the elections. Saint Maximin is a good player but he doesn't have finishing skills, he only dribbles, let's see how he performs in Fenerbahçe.

Fenerbahçe have added Saint-Maximin, Cenk Tosun and Oğuz Aydın to their squad. In terms of Fenerbahçe's squad depth, these transfers are the right ones. The wing area will be the most important area for Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahçe this season. There are very important players on the wings. Oğuz Aydın will be one of the players who will shine this season if he improves himself. Cenk Tosun, on the other hand, is an experienced player who will very well complete the centre-forward area that Fenerbahçe is lacking. I think Fenerbahçe only needs a star striker and if the striker is bought, I can say that Fenerbahçe will compete in all competitions this season without any difficulty.

But don't you think these transfers aren't satisfying considering what Ali Koç promised?  Huh  After bringing Mourinho they seemed like there would be big names coming to the club this summer. But so far only Saint-Maximin could be considered as such transfer. I guess Fenerbahçe fans are also uncomfortable with the situation as the time is running out slowly in the transfer window.

As a Galatasaray fan, I'm also not happy with our being very silent so far though. Transfer news has started to arrive new like Elias Jelert who is a right-back.

We have so many areas to consolidate such as:

  • Signing a good central midfielder to play beside Torreira - I don't think Kerem Demirbay is good enough for especially European competitions.  Sad
  • Bringing a new right winger by selling Tete. Zaha - Ziyech duo are also inconsistent in fact.
  • I believe it would be nice to sign another good left-back to make some competition against Köhn. He is really good offensively but not the same as for defending.

But do not forget that Mourinier is a follower of defensive tactics, so Fenerbahce’s performance may even decrease slightly. Fenerbahce expectedly revived on the transfer market, it was expected that Mourinier would attract new players to the team. It seems to me that now more people have begun to follow Fenerbahce, after all, Mourinho is a significant personality in the world of football and with his arrival at the new club, it becomes interesting whether he will be able to repeat his great achievements once again.

Beşiktaş continues to build a good squad this season. We can say that the transfers they have made so far will strengthen them significantly. The only problem is that they currently have 20 or 21 foreign players in their squad. They need to part ways with 8-9 of these players. Let's see how they will proceed. They have a friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk in 2 days, so we will decide slowly.

~snip~
tomorrow fenerbahce will play against strasbourg in a friendly game, strasbourg is a Ligue1 team that last season was fighting to not be relegated, so we will see how fenerbahce will do against a small Ligue1 team that despite being a Friendly game, it is important that Fenerbahce win to give the players and fans more confidence for the next game, which will be a serious game. In my opinion, Mourinho needs to improve Fenerbahce's attack so they can score more goals, last season Fenerbahce managed to perform well in attack but sometimes had problems in defense, which caused the team to lose points precisely at moments when they were close to or above Galatasaray and this has always made Galatasaray, which is consistent, win the league

It will be difficult to win the league if they can't have other good players in attack, defense and midfield, and if Mourinho fails to win the title I think the criticism has started to become hell for him and this will make the situation worse of him who is currently not seen as good enough to be hired by the big teams, he needs to achieve great things in Turkey, looking at the bad history that Turkish teams have had in European competitions in the recent times that I have been following football, I see mouriho needing a lot of luck to win the first serious game, both the first and second legs I see fenerbahce with little chance of winning
But last season Strasbourg managed to get through and escape the Ligue 1 relegation zone, but even so it still shows that Strasbourg is not strong team and can be said to be stable team.
We have seen it, Fenerbahce managed to beat Strasbourg with an absolute score because Fenerbahce won with 4 goals without reply, in this match everything belonged to Fenerbahce and Strasbourg was really under pressure.
In friendly matches we will never be able to find an advantage in improving Fenerbahce performance, because they only play against team that are really weak or can be said to be at level below them.
We can see it in the UCL qualifying round matches and if this shows victory for Fenerbahce then it can be said that Mourinho has had good start, there is great hope in the UCL competition even though it is difficult to fight for the title.

I confess that I was very surprised by the fact that Fenerbahce managed to score 4 goals in that friendly match and didn't concede a single goal, because in the last match, which was also a friendly match, Fenerbahce lost and failed to score at least 1 goal and I know that Hajduk is a strong Croatian team that's why I started to get worried that Fenerbahce might not have any chance in the European competitions, but with this victory against a weak Ligue 1 team, it gives me a little hope that in the next game is possible to have a good result. The next opponent will be Lugano in a qualifying game for the European Champions League, it will not be an easy game, but Fenerbahce needs to win if they want to go into the second leg with some comfort and move on to another stage.

Your message has nothing to do with mine, why did you quote me?
The friendlies are used to see the performance of the players in the teams and to determine whether they will play in the new season. The scores are irrelevant. Both Mourinho and Giovanni van Bronckhorst are newcomers to this league, they are trying every player and measuring their performance to get the squad they have in mind.

Smart planning is important in transfers. This season the foreign rule has changed again. There is no obligation to play 3 Turkish players in the starting 11, but teams can have a maximum of 12 foreign players. That's why teams are trying to let go of their excess foreign players. They can't make new transfers until the ones they have are gone.

Immobile was a really great scorer but like I said he was. His goal statistics look really poor for the recent 2 seasons.

He looks like he can't concentrate on his game in the recent times. This might look worrying for Beşiktaş fans considering that the team are preparing to pay 6 million euros every year.  Sad  But we never know of course. For example when Icardi signed for Galatasaray, he wasn't able to score many goals for PSG and couldn't play properly too. But after joining Galatasaray things have changed a lot. He has become the most valuable player for the fans.  Smiley

Icardi is the right comparison. But Immobile is 34. Icardi is 31. Icardi will be in his 3rd year in the Turkish league. This will be Immobile's first season. I think Immobile is a good transfer after Rafa Silva. But the annual salaries of these two players will create problems in the team. Because if they perform below expectations, their annual salaries will be a matter of discussion.

Beşiktaş will not be able to earn Champions League income. They are pushing their budget too much. They may have problems in paying their salaries in the middle of the season. This could lead to their early withdrawal from the race.

The cost of Ciro Immobile has been revealed and it seems to be very affordable. A 2-year contract was signed for 6 million Euro per year. It's a really big job to bring such a great striker. Beşiktaş made the transfer of the year in the league. I wonder how Immobile will fit in with Rafa Silva. We can comment more easily when the players who will play on the wings are announced, but it's already possible to say that Beşiktaş has solved the goal problem they had last season.
In last season we have good activity in Saudi League which was matter of concern for the few peoples here but now in current season we are having enough spending with few good names joined Super League mean things are taking changes and having player like Ciro Immobile with the price of €6 Million mean clubs are taking risks with amount like this having good names from the UEFA top clubs making interesting changes as few are having concern about his performance most chances we will have some improvement and things will be also good for the Besiktaa because they are doing good job in this season.

With this signing, Besiktas will surely having good improvement, and now they can give challenge to top two clubs with their strength and quality which are they bringing here.
