Osimhen transfer was one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football history in terms of name and age. However, such a short-term loan is not feasible. Galatasaray can't get much out of this transfer except advertising and PR. Financially it's a very troublesome transfer. The possibility of the player leaving before the end of the season would also disrupt the whole game plan. With this transfer, the number of strikers will increase to three and the team will play with a different tactic. Also, how well they will get along with Icardi when playing with two strikers and how the wings will contribute to the game is a mystery.
On the face of it, an excellent signing has been made, but we'll have to wait a bit to see how it will affect the game on the pitch.

Beşiktaş has built a compact team and included some very successful players. There is a big difference between Beşiktaş last year and this year. The Galatasaray match was a turning point for Beşiktaş and they made a very good start to the season. However, Beşiktaş does not have the squad depth to sustain long term success in the league. They will be competing in both the league and Europa League and the lack of squad depth could push Beşiktaş back in the second half of the season. If they make good use of the January transfer window, we could see a champion Beşiktaş this season.
Besiktas which was fourth in last season with 61 points and having difference of 41 points from Champions Galatasaray which won title with 102 points and now trying their best for having third consecutive title which is surely not easy, but things are looking interesting after arrival of Osimhen for title race.

But for this current season, I was expecting good lead for the Besiktas with having title race challenge with Fenerbahçe, but now we are having good time for all three contenders for the race but still I am feeling Besiktas is having good advantage due to good squad and their strength of team which already having 2 clean sheets and score 8 goals.

Many people say "They already had Icardi and Batshuayi in their squad so why did they sign Osimhen too?". I mean I agree on one point that this wasn't a prioritized transfer. They didn't need a striker.
Here I also agreed about this it's not their priority, and they are wasting their funds because things were stable on attack they need wingers which can give them good strength now just wait and watch how things will be ended after this signing.

Victor Osimhen is undoubtedly one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football history. To be honest, we can even admit that it is the biggest, but what is important is his performance in Turkiye. We know that his stay here will be short. He can make his mark in the history of Turkish football by actually playing football here, but if he sees this place as a transit bridge or a training ground, this transfer will not meet expectations and will go down in the history of Turkish football as a fiasco. I hope he doesn't get injured and adapts to our league immediately. I am happy to see someone like him in my country. I am a Beşiktaş fan but I will be happy to watch Osimhen in a Galatasaray jersey this season...
Therefore, Okan Buruk as Galatasaray coach must be able to utilize Osimhen's presence in the squad he handles. Good performance is supported by the condition of the players whether they will go hand in hand or not. However, if you look at Galatasaray's readiness, I think Osimhen will adapt quickly, and can help Galatasaray's attack line in the future and most importantly the Turkish Super League will be much more interesting to watch. because as you said and we all admit Osimhen is a talented player.

But we are talking about an opportunity to sign one of the best strikers. In this case there is no meaning in missing this chance.  Smiley  He will most probably stay for a short time as well. Because if his release clause is €80m like it is said, there is no way he is staying until the end of the season. But even until then, Galatasaray can benefit from his skillset a lot. He would like to show his best effort to impress bigger teams.
Mauro Icardi is injured. He had to leave the match against  Adana Demirspor in the 24th minute. It is suspected that he has a hamstring injury that will take him out of play for about one month. Galatasaray didn't want to take any chances. Hence, they had to take advantage of the opportunity to sign Victor.

The Turkish side is competing in the Europa League and some other domestic competitions, which means they need more than one main striker. If Victor is focused, respectful, and a team player, the club will not regret signing him.

Some sports pundits are criticising Galatasaray S.K. for deciding to spend so much to get the loan deal for Victor Osimhen. But they do not understand that it is not just the player, but the publicity. Victor Osimhen is the current best player in Africa and is highly regarded in Nigeria. Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and football is the most popular sport.

From now on, more people in Africa will be more interested in the Turkish League. I am considering subscribing to a platform that shows the Turkish League. And if Victor lives up to expectations, the Turkish League will be a hot topic of discussion. I have never posted in the Turkish Thread but from now on, I will be constant here. And I am sure that more members will become active here. Having more pages in this thread will be the proof of my predictions.

The presence of Osimhen in the Turkish Super league will spice up the league to become somewhat Interesting this very season, I do love Osimhen because his a player of individual credibility, his style of play isn't reliant on anyone. Secondly he's very much aware that he has drawn a lot of attention lately and wouldn't want to fail both the club ,supporters and fans globally. I hope this deal will bring Galalstataray back to form and they will be able to compete well in the Europa Cup competition.

Beşiktaş defeated Sivasspor 2-0 with a dominant game at home to reach 3 wins in 3 games in the league. Beşiktaş will go to Trabzonspor away next week and a tough challenge awaits Beşiktaş.
Samsunspor managed to get 3 points with 3 goals away from Hatayspor. We can say that Samsunspor played better offensively and deserved it. They also recovered quickly after losing to Beşiktaş in the first week of the league.
I've been carefully following the Turkish Super Lig since the start of the season and if I must be honest, I don't think there's a club with better improvement in the new season than Beşiktas. They've been playing in the new season like a club that's resolved within themselves to fight for the league title and that is a very good thing for them. Three wins our if three matches without doubt will send a strong message to the rest of the clubs in the league if how prepared Beşiktas are to challenge for the league title this season but their problems most times is inconsistency and if they can overcome that and continue with their impressive start to the new season, Beşiktas might shock everyone at the end of the season by winning the Turkish Super Lig title.

Besiktas is one of the strong competitors in the Turkish league but their problem is always inconsistency because there are times when they have the opportunity to win the league but they lose out in the race and leave either Galatasaray or Fenerbahce to win but from their performance in this current season, if they put more effort in their next games and become consistent they might win the league title this season. Winning 3 games out of the three matches they've played so far is a very good result but I just hope they don't give up along the line because Besiktas is one club in the Turkish league that is difficult to understand because when you feel they are performing well the next thing they start flopping.

Galatasaray made Turkey's biggest transfer last night.
Galatasaray loaned Osimhen from Napoli for 1 year.
Nobody would have believed that Osimhen would come to our league at this age, but Galatasaray brought him.
Galatasaray gained a huge advantage over its rivals in terms of transfers.
Osimhen is the 4th most expensive Centre-Forward in the world.
The arrival of Victor Osimhen can greatly help Galatasaray in the match that will be played later and it can be said that Galatasaray is getting closer to winning the Turkish Super League because we know that Osimhen is an extraordinary player who is still very young and not a cheap player, his performance is not in doubt, Okan Buruk as a coach must be able to maximize it as best as possible, Fenerbahce and Besiktas must be more aware of the threat of Galatasaray in the future and now the Turkish Super League will be much more interesting to watch.

I definitely agree with what you said. He is a player who will increase the quality of the Süper League and will ensure that our league is watched worldwide.
I hope Okan Buruk uses this player very well, and if the other players feed him well, he will do very well.

Also, Galatasaray sold Kerem Aktürkoğlu to Benfica for 12 million Euros. I hope he does well there and improves himself even more.

This feels like a very funny Football Manager transfer that you would not believe. Whenever I play Football Manager, I see a few examples of these funny ones, like I see Mbappe go from PSG to Udinese type of thing, and this feels like a similar one.

However, this one makes a lot more sense, Osimhen was out of the squad list, so he had no way of playing anywhere and a loan deal was the only thing that they could do. Considering most of the Europe already had their transfer window closed and Saudis didn't want him, the only high level league that was left was Turkish league, this was his literally last resort, if this deal didn't happen then Osimhen would have stayed at home all year, or at least until January. This looks a lot better for him, so it makes sense.

I don't know what to say. Seeing this on Transfermarkt still feels like I'm daydreaming.  Tongue  But it is real. One of the best and most valuable strikers in the world is in Turkey. I must admit one thing here. Galatasaray knows how to apologize to their fans for not being active in the transfer market. With Osimhen, their championship chance in the Super League has got much higher and they would go on stronger in the Europa League also.

The only and big problem for them could be his possibility to leave in January. Because he demanded to be free to leave if he gets an offer from big teams and his release clause is going to be like 80m euros.
Since the opening of the summer transfer market, Osimhen has continued to be linked with many big teams such as PSG, Chelsea and Arsenal, but all his plans to move to the big team this season have failed after a lot of speculation and tight negotiations have occurred, his move to Galatasaray is of course an unexpected surprise at all because so far Galatasaray has never been a team linked to recruiting Osimhen,  But I think it's better for Osimhen to play for Galatasaray now than to just spend time without playing at Napoli, even though Osimhen failed to leave Napoli but there is no point in him staying at Napoli because he is not included in Conte main player list, so Galatasaray is certainly the right team while he waits for the winter transfer window to reopen later.
Osimhen arrival to Galatasaray will be a very good addition for them, this season Galatasaray have started the season poorly in the Super Cup and also Champions League qualifying, so they need a capable striker to continue to maintain their dominance in the Super lig this season, especially now that Fenerbache and Besiktas will be strong rivals for Galatasaray in trophies compete.

The move of Osimhen to Galatasaray is more realistic than his move to any Saudi club side now. Al-Ahli have failed to sign him before the transfer window deadline few days ago, so I don’t think they’re still on his matter till now. For Galatasaray to make such a bold move, it shows that they’re sure they’ll get him. I also saw a report that Osimhen was ready to join the club and accept their offer.

Regarding Galatasaray and Al-Ahli the best club for his career is Galatasaray because Saudi clubs are only good to join when the players is close to there age of retirement because those clubs does not add much value to a players career and besides majority of people are less interested on the Saudi league, so a player as good as Osimhen and his age shouldn't consider going to Saudi because that is were his career will end.

Though the only thing interesting about Saudi is that they pay there players very well but is not good for a player that still have more dreams of breaking more football records, so actually Galatasaray is never a bad choice and I can imagine the excitement the club will be if he eventually join them, though Galatasaray is still having some difficulties in most of the positions so the only way they would achieve there aim for Osimhen is having the right players that would give Osimhen a sufficient support he needs on the front line.

one of the world's classiest attacking players is being transferred to Galatasaray, I hope there will be no setbacks and he comes to Turkey.

now it's official. Osimhen is already a Galatasaray player, in this video that Fabrizio Romano posted, it shows how Osimhen seems to be very happy at Galatasaray, Osimhen's fans are also very happy with his arrival. It can be seen in this video:

𝑺𝒉𝒉𝒉… Osimhen and Gala fans!

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1830806849639141529

Galatasaray has a good attack, in 3 games they managed to score 9 goals and with the arrival of Osimhen, Galatasaray's attack will become stronger which will be good for European competitions, as Galatasaray is playing in the Europa League, having a good squad they can go very far in the Europa League, Turkish teams have not been able to go very far in European competitions, it is time for Turkish teams to also have a very strong squad that will make the team go very far in European competitions.

What is happening with Adana?

They played 4 games, lost 3 and drew 1 and conceded 10 goals. It is true that they were unlucky to have 2 games against very strong teams like Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but they also had 2 games against teams that they could have had better results. It looks like Adana is on the road to relegation this season.

I just read some very wonderful news in the Turkish sports press. There is talk that Osimhen, out of Napoli's squad, could come to Galatasaray on loan for one year. According to the press reports, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has accepted Galatasaray's offer for Osimhen. If we convince Osimhen, we will be champions again this season for sure. But the Saudi League transfer window ends today. They are also in the market for this transfer. Galatasaray will be the only alternative if they can't convince the player. This is really a surprise development. I still have a hard time believing it's real. I hope we finish this transfer.

This is great news for Galatasaray as their frontline will only become stronger and will actualise this opportunity when playing in the European competition.

It was an easy match for Fenerbahçe. They won the match comfortably 3-0.
There may have been a foul before the 3rd goal.
Fenerbahçe is playing well, it seems like the championship will be between Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş this year.
Fenerbahçe's new transfer Amrabat was at the stadium tonight, let's see what kind of player we will watch.
That match was totally one sided match and Fenerbahçe football team played excellent in this match and did back to back goals and we saw Fenerbahçe team in full form.  Tadić was best player of this match because he did 2 goals in this match and  he bent the match to their side and now they are looking in good confidence because they acquired 1 position in the points table and  they have 10 points by playing 4 matches in this tournament . Alanyaspor is present at the bottom of table because they lose many matches and have 2 points and have -5 GD . Alanyaspor have to focus on their game because are playing very bad in this tournament and they will be out of the tournament nearly.
