I was impressed with Fenerbahce's performance against Göztepe yesterday in their Turkish Super Lig game. I love the fact that they're now winning games and closing in on league leaders Galatasaray as the end of the season draws nearer and how they've improved their performances in recent games. Even if Jose Mourinho's men fail to win the league title this season, it won't be bad for them to take the battle for who wins the league title this season down to the wire.

For Beşiktas who recently appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club manager, an away draw I don't think was a bad start for the Norwegian.

I expected Beşiktaş to win, they were very close to it, but they conceded a goal with a returned from outside ball and the game ended in a draw. The Gedson - Ciro - Rafa trio scored a beautiful goal. They should do it more during the season. The fans expect goals from them. Immobile scored a goal after that but it was disallowed for offside. It's good not to lose, but you need to win, otherwise the points will fly away. The team needs to increase the number of goals. That's true. However it was not a convincing victory for them especially considering the squad depth and the quality of players in their team compared to Konyaspor. I expected them to build on their lead after Osimhen’s opening goal but they failed to capitalize on their chances. Their lack of cutting edge in the final third was evident in the game as they struggled to breakdown a Konyaspor defense despite dominating possession and creating some opportunities.

your predictions were spot on - the match ended with over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring. göztepe played really well in the first half, but they conceded 3 goals back-to-back at the start of the second half. if they had scored another goal in the final minutes, it probably would’ve ended in a draw, but it didn’t happen.

there were some unusual goals in the match. in my opinion, fenerbahçe’s first goal was quite strange, though there were some impressive ones too - credit where it’s due. as a result, the point gap between fenerbahçe and galatasaray remains 6.

Your prediction that more than two goals will be scored in the Turkish Super Lig game between Fenerbahce and Göztepe actually played out as predicted because it's full time already with the home team claiming a 3:2 win against their visitors. Fenerbahce are now just six points behind league leaders Galatasaray in the league standings after 20 league games and if you ask me, I think the result of today's game have thrown the battle for who wins the league title open again. If Fenerbahce can continue with their recent results in the league, they're very likely to catch up with Galatasaray before the end of the season
