The real question is, what are they going to do at Europa league, they have a chance to be in the top 8, or even if not, they could just beat someone at playoffs.

yes, there might have been some referee issues—turkey is unfortunately a weak league in this regard. but if you're the league leader and end up with a draw against the bottom-placed team, and you can only score 1 goal from 3.52 xG, there are other problems at hand.

I have noticed a trend in Galatasaray which is that when they want to win, the goal margin will be so wide but when they want to frustrate their fans, they will struggle to score goals and when they win, it is usually narrow wins. Their last match is a good proof of that because normally they would have won Hatayspor with so many goals. The disappointing fact is that Hatayspor won them in the first half and without that penalty that was beautifully converted by Victor Osimhen, they would have lost the match. That's how Victor Osimhen has always been but as he scores lots of goals, people forget that he misses alot of chances too. If he wasn't a top scorer, he won't be different from the current Chelsea striker that keeps missing important chance that should be able to win them games. Galatasary can't always win as they're going to have some bad game and this was one of those bad game as you can't say they didn't play well. They played everything they could but weren't lucky to get the victory. Their biggest advantage is that they can score goals easily. This also covers up their defensive weaknesses. In fact, they have serious problems in defense, but when they score goals and take the lead, they let the opposition off the guard early. Even if they concede 1 goal, they know they can score 2.
