Juventus have a greater chance to go to the next stage especially they have players like Ronaldo who already have experience in this competition, I predicted 2-1 for Juventus.

It's half time, Barcelona was very close to scoring a 3 goal, it's definitely over for Man Utd, and Juventus vs Ajax is still a very tensed game deadlocked at 1 - 1 at halftime, all things still possible in that match.

Eff me, guys. Got a small 3/1 Juve/Barca parlay but I've not taken a same sum bet each on Manchester Utd (8.5/1) and Ajax (over 5.6/1) to win... just as a stupid hedge. Of course, one of them could draw and then I'm screwed and lost 3 times more than I would have without the hedge.

Looking at the prematch but have to leave home shortly for a 2 hours commute. Might catch 10 mins. Good that Liverpool's on tomorrow night.

@toke. I wouldn't mind City in the final for the scenario you just spelled out but I'd love to have met Bayern, Barca then Juve en route to winning the cup. It would've meant we've dispatched all the champions of the major European leagues (and we did beat PSV once too).

The line up has been released, Barcelona starting lineup remain unchanged from the first leg except for Sergi Roberto who comes in to replace Nelson Semedo, Man Utd on the other have made numerous changes to their starting line up.

And personally, I don't want only to beat them but also I want to see Barcelona scoring so many goals. Manchester United plays such an awful football and I think that they don't deserve to be in this leg. Someone may argue because the disqualifies Paris Saint Germain in the previous leg but this doesn't say anything about their attitude during the matches.

My picks and predictions for today's UEFA Champions League matches:

Juventus - Ajax MY BET

A place in the Champions League semis will be at stake when Juventus and Ajax face each other in Turin on Tuesday evening. The Bianconeri did well to score a vital away goal in a 1-1 draw with the Amsterdammers, with Cristiano Ronaldo extending his goal-scoring run in the elite competition. CR7 looks unstoppable at the moment and i predict that the Portugal international is going to make life difficult for the opposition defenders in the return leg. Juve crushed Atletico Madrid 3-0 in their last home game in the Champions League and they are definitely capable of beating the Dutch champions at their Allianz Stadium. Ajax are enjoying a very successful season, but the lack of experience seems to be the team’s key problem. It is well known that Dusan Tadic and Co. are not regarded as good travelers, therefore, home win should be considered.

Barcelona - Manchester United MY BET

Barcelona will be aiming to defend their slim lead in the tie against Manchester United when the two teams face each other at Camp Nou in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The Catalan giants proved their worth in the 1-0 win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford and they must be high on confidence ahead of Tuesday’s football match. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Leo Messi, who has netted 8 goals in the Champions League so far this term. Manchester United failed to impress in the 1-0 loss to Barca and seeing that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has some injury concerns ahead of the trip to Barcelona, i am positive that the Premier League side will return to England empty-handed. In their last meeting at Camp Nou in the elite competition Barcelona defeated Man Utd 3-1.

A part of me hopes the final will be Man City vs Liverpool.  This def would show the world that English football is back.  And with City and LFC battling it out at the EPL too...

I am hoping for upset here as well. Ajax has really played some great games this season and I if they manage to bring their best game today they have a good chance. Juve is playing without Chielini and Manduzkic which should make the job of goal scoring for Ajax a little easier. I played over 2.5 so hoping that Ajax will start with their usual attacking mentality.

Agreed. At this stage, experience makes the difference.
There are 4 big teams left, they're the favorites and I don't see them being upset by a smaller team.

Juventus & Barcelona will advance to the final, they both have players with huge experience of going far in this competition. Ajax & Man Utd don’t have much experience in their squads.

Many of us are rooting for Ajax.
They're the underdogs, they're young, talented and have a great state of mind. They remind me of that Monaco team from two years ago.

Chiellini still out? But this is Juventus at home in Turin, so maybe it does not matter? And Moise Kean scoring in every game since 6 games? Ajax need to score to be alive, but if they played like last week with over 10 attempts on the goal, it should not be the most difficult thing for them. I suspect Ronaldo again for sure to score at least once.

Barca for sure to win. They played to a slow draw but that's because they were reserving everything to welcome the Red Devils.

I guess so, Juventus surely try their best to win in their home match. Well, they only need draw result 0-0 though to qualify to the next round.

For Barcelona vs Manc United. Of course barcelona is favoured to win but maybe there will be a miracle for MU and win 0-2 lol.

I agree with you on all the scores except City. I definitely think in fact 2-0 is entirely possible for Juventus and Barcelona who will play at home. Liverpool are away but they smashed 5-0 in Pourtugal last year, I think they are not the same team now so they will go for 2-0 or 3-0 and then slow the game down to focus on EPL.

But Spurs are a dangerous opponent for City, I believe they can do the double upset or fight to draw.

Juve without Mandzukic and Chiellini but Ajax is also missing Tagliafico.
Mandzukic is out of form in the last month and most probably we will see a Bernadeschi - Dybala - Ronaldo trio in attack. I doubt Kean will start even though he is scoring goals in every match he features in lately.

Juve was without Chiellini in the first leg as well and Rugani-Bonnuci did a good job replacing him.

Tagliafico will be missed by Ajax for sure. Very important for both defence and attack.
My prediction: Juve - Ajax 2:1 with Ajax pressuring the home side and having more ball possession.

I see Barcelona as too experienced for MAN U and knocking them out with a 2:0 or 3:0 final result.

Never expect more on Barcelona as lot of time they have given surprises and even Man Utd can give a good defense so i think today match playing live will be a good profit.

Juventus vs Ajax, this game is also interesting as Ajax were great in their home ground and same Juventus are strong on their home ground so i think today their wont be lot of goals and under 2.5 goal is a good bet and Juventus will win it today.
