Manchester City are still the favourite for the Champions League title by a big odd margin. It isn't surprising to see at all as it has been the same since beginning of the first games here. They are going to need to get past technically the biggest obstacle among the teams remaining in the tournament. Real Madrid are literally the king around here as you know.

Manchester City were strong in the previous season as well maybe but now there is still a significant level of difference. Haaland's impact is big and he will be their best card against Real Madrid to have their revenge.

Yes, it seems that Inter and Milan's performances are not much different, in Serie A they are also not very consistent. Who says that Inter has been much stronger than Milan this season? As far as I can see they are about as even as it could get in Serie A with respect to both the points and the goals scored and conceded. There isn't really much of a difference between them. Inter has beaten Juventus in Coppa Italia, which I think shows that they are definitely able to beat Milan as well in the Champions League. This is a 50:50 game in my opinion. None of the teams really has an edge over the other team. Inter has a bit more pressure in the league as well if they want to qualify for the Champions League. Even though I think they can beat Milan, I doubt that without tons of luck they could also win the title in this competition.

The Inter Milan team is doing a great performance in this league in Syria. But I can't say much about how they will play a role in the Champions League. I am very interested in Manchester City vs Real Madrid match. However, Inter Milan will try hard not to miss this chance of the Champions League.

it is difficult to predict between Milan and Inter while these two teams have similarities in recent performance but for me it is not Inter who will qualify for the finals but Milan who will qualify for the finals.
although many say that Inter Milan is much better this season than Milan, but I just can't doubt that Milan has pocketed more experience than Inter Milan. even though in the last few leagues maybe Milan didn't perform well but they seemed to be saving their strength to compete in the UCL.

I dominate choosing Milan over Inter.

Milan have many Champion  League trophies than Inter Milan but last performance Inter have better with last winning tittle season 2010 than AC Milan got tittle in season 2007. Its seems Milan have waiting since more than 16 years for qualifying to semifinal stage in Champion League than Inter last achievement with treble season 2010 or 13 years ago. Difficult for predicting who favored qualify to final stage because in domestic league between Inter or Milan underperformance and difficult reach to top fourth standings in this season.

Personally I favorite with Inter Milan will success lead to final stage Champion League than Milan, have better squad than Milan is my reason why Inter have bigger chance will play in final stage.

It's an age issue, I don't think it's wise to compare players who already have a lot of experience and have proven to help their team to success with young players. I mean their consistency is still questionable for this young player. Modric is without a doubt one of the best midfielders ever, only now he is declining due to his age. It's not the performance that's decreasing, but more the speed and aggressiveness. But I can still say he is a midfielder who gives comfort to his team.

Yeah i do know that. It seems like that ancelotti is still trying to make its record to be even bigger.

Ancelotti has surpassed ferguson. I think that ancelotti will not try to mis the golden opportunity to win the UCL again this season. The key is to beat manchester city. As long as real madrid will able to beat city and it will become an easy task to beat the winner from the duel of duo milan.

Ancelotti is very happy right now and he was aiming to increase his winning count in UCL. It will be so good to him if he will able to win another UCL trophy again.

I agree that there is nothing exaggerated regarding a Luka Modric. because I am really always amazed by Luka Modric's performance. well, even in the world cup, he became the caretaker in Croatia's success in making it to the 2022 world cup semi-finals and won third place. But it is undeniable that Luka Modric has experienced a slight decline in performance in recent times. but his contribution to Real Madrid still gets appreciation. and I think that the injury to Luka Modric, who may not be able to play in the Champions League Semi-finals, will have a slight effect on Real Madrid's performance. and would be a pretty big loss for Real Madrid.

First of all, I would say that experience plays a major role in Champions League matches. It is much tougher to perform well in the Champions League if the squad is not experienced enough. And we have seen proof of this in various past matches. And so Madrid needed an experienced midfielder like Luka Modrich in this match. Ancelotti cannot fill Luka Modric's void with any other player.
But if we compare Manchester City vs Madrid midfield then I would say City midfield is stronger. City has talented players like De Bruyne, Gundogan, Silva, and Phillips in their squad. Everyone is a great player. But Modric and Toni Kroos are very experienced. Madrid's midfielder duo is also capable of excellent performances.

It's like Ronaldo who was the the best player in 2008, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, also one of the best footballers in Real Madrid, but now he's already nothing. The difference Ronaldo and Modric is, Ronaldo's contract wasn't get extended and Modric is still get extended.

It's true if experience is important especially he's play at central midfielder position, but he get beaten by a prime and younger midfielders if we talk about the speed and stamina. On the other hands, Manchester City's midfielder have all of those criteria.

I never thought Luka Modric was overrated. He is an excellent player. He is one of the key players in the Real Madrid squad. Croatia also performed well in the World Cup. And thanks to Luka Modric, Croatia's performance was steady. I don't think this player is overrated at all. However, his performance has slightly deteriorated compared to last season. Because he is now 37 years old. Yet the world has few experienced midfielders like Luka Modric.
