Madrid is the biggest team in the champions league but I'm certain Man City will be the winner of this particular tie and if Man City survives Madrid they will win anybody they play in the final between Inter Milan and AC Milan.
The biggest possibility of Real Madrid can beat Manchester City is through penalty, Courtois is on different level than Moraes. I don't see many great saves by Moraes during penalty, he mostly show a good performance about his counter attack strategy and accurate long pass.

Manchester City need to be offensive as score as much as possible in order to prevent from penalty shootout.

With the cooperation between Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland at Manchester City, of course there is no need to doubt, because at this moment the cooperation between Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland makes Manchester City have a very dangerous attack. Therefore, of course, Manchester City will have and or make a lot of attacks with the additions that might result in more accurate goals.

Thus, it looks like this match will not end on penalties because of course both teams want to end the match at normal time. But anyway, Real Madrid and Manchester City certainly have a chance to qualify because these two teams are big teams with good management as well, which allows them to have good performances.

It is true that Man City is now far superior to Madrid. That's just speculation because you see Man City's trend of being bombarded with goals. I know Haaland was key in the recent accumulation of goals, but everyone needs to be aware that Madrid will not stay silent either. Comparing their performance in La Liga, of course anyone can see that Madrid is lagging behind a lot. It could be that behind all that Real Madrid is currently in the UCL and will continue the trend of fighting for trophies. Everyone will be looking forward to this fight starting and seeing how far apart the two are now that Haaland Man City attack formation is occupied.
In this case, everyone has their own goal machine and has a pretty good attack motor in midfield.
Haaland is currently really very good at Manchester City and indeed that cannot be eliminated because he is like someone who is thirsty for goals in every game he plays. On the other hand, we also know that Benzema is always the biggest problem for opponents when fighting one on one or when movements without the ball are made.
It depends on how they kill some players in each team like Manchester City with KDB and Haaland or Madrid with some Vini, Valverde or Benzema moves and some indulgent passes from Kroos and Modric.

Yes Real Madrid are the biggest team in champions league because they are the team that has won it the most, but this time is a different ball game, Manchester City are the favorite team to win the champions league this season, I don't see Real Madrid stopping them, football is unpredictable so anything can still happen in the game, and if Manchester City fail to beat Real Madrid then Guadiola should forget about winning the champions league with another team because he has only won it with Barcelona, he tried with Bayern Munich but couldn't win it and he has be on it since he arrived at City and I think this is his best chance of winning the league with another club.

I think we all agree that this match between Real and Manchester City is the final before the final and that the winner of this match will be the favorite in the final against Milan or Inter.
Guardiola is one of the best coaches in the world, but his legacy won't be complete until he wins the Champions League with a team that isn't Barcelona and doesn't have Messi.
Realistically, Manchester City was the favorite to win the Champions League every time in the last 5-6 years, but they always lacked something to go all the way and win the trophy.
On the other hand, Real have already won the Champions League several times, although I don't remember them being the main favorites to win that trophy very often.
Real has traditionally played poorly in the Spanish championship in recent seasons, but great in the Champions League and won trophies in the series.
Real clearly have some x-factor, probably a combination of experience, confidence and luck which often gives them an advantage in key moments of matches and for that reason they should never be underestimated.

Well, I also had time to think about the penalty shoot-out for these two teams if the two legs have the same aggregate. The quality of Cortuis is indeed slightly above Moraes and that is why if the determination of who will advance to the final round must go through the penalty shootout phase, then Manchester City's chances of qualifying are dwindling. We can't deny that Real Madrid has the best goalkeeper in the world and that will really make Manchester City kickers doubtful. On the other hand, if the match ends in extra time it will be much more exciting because the two teams will definitely fight until their stamina is exhausted.

Manchester City are still the favourite for the Champions League title by a big odd margin. It isn't surprising to see at all as it has been the same since beginning of the first games here. They are going to need to get past technically the biggest obstacle among the teams remaining in the tournament. Real Madrid are literally the king around here as you know.

Manchester City were strong in the previous season as well maybe but now there is still a significant level of difference. Haaland's impact is big and he will be their best card against Real Madrid to have their revenge.
What Man City must do in the semi-final match later in order to win against Real Madrid is by having a high level of confidence and also they cannot be careless until the final whistle sounds. because last season a tragedy occurred for Man city in the last minute. which robbed them of any hope of barely qualifying for the finals. Man City must learn from defeat last season. but I also feel that Man City's performance this season is really much better than last season. But last season Real Madrid also struggled against Man City. so I think even this time Real Madrid will struggle.

Indeed, I remember that moment. It was a catastrophe for Manchester City while they were so close to eliminating the most dominant team of the Champions League. But now it must be the time to eliminate their opponent with a satisfying level of performance. Real Madrid are still doing pretty good here. Their performance against some other Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool was really amazing.

Manchester City are a way different team than those two maybe but they will also need to be very aware of this big threat. Ancelotti's team would like to do their best to win a big title this season as well after losing their chance for the La Liga title.
Manchester City will not want to miss any more opportunities. Because the semi-final of the Champions League is a great opportunity for Manchester City, I think if Manchester City can secure the semi-final victory, then the final match can be easily secured. However, Man City will make a big mistake if they take Real Madrid team lightly.

Now more and more are making Manchster City the favorites in this game
Bookmakers agree to this as City is currently at 2.20 while Real Madrid is at 3.20. This is quite a huge statement considering the first leg will be held at Santiago Bernabeu. The other thing is that RM could be more focused on winning this since the gap in La Liga is too wide.

I fancy a draw at 3.55. I don't usually rely on past history but this could be another one of those games where we expected too much but ends up goalless or just one goal each.

Manchester City is better than Real madrid as a whole, that can be seen from them in the Premier League and Champions League. Now more and more are making Manchster City the favorites in this game, and it looks like this season will really happen for us to see Manchester City will beat Real madrid. But even so, that didn't make Real Madrid lose its chance to win the match. Sometimes there are unexpected things in a match that cause many wrong predictions. Now Manchester City only needs to prepare mentally so they don't lose to Real Madrid.

I see Manchester City becoming the dominant side in this game instead of Real Madrid, they got more formidable midfield and wingers to operate in this game more than Madrid do, but in other hands Real Madrid is well known for their ability to contain any amount of pressure coming from their opponent side which they did during the second leg match between them and Chelsea in the first half game and would finally sort their way out in winning at the end.

Manchester city are well prepared to dominate in this match, because they will not allow what happened in the last tournament to happen in this tournament than to use their potential skills to eliminate Real Madrid with many goals so that people will believe that they remain the strongest team in the champion league competition. Based on what happened between Chelsea and Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, showed that Real Madrid performance will not help them to defeat Manchester city in this semi-final. I believe, Erling Haaland will definitely showcase some tactics that will make him to score goals that will bring victory to Manchester city to move to final.

I see man city every year is a team that has great potential to become a UCL champion (same as PSG) because I see their squad is almost perfect but they are like a curse, especially if they play in the semifinals or finals, they always fail to win

against madrid who is always the King in the UCL is not an easy matter, Madrid is an extraordinary team, especially when they make an epic comeback

Its true that Man City are always very good every season but somehow they never win it. They've been very unlucky in the champions league. The year they lost the final to Chelsea was understandable because it was their first final. I don't think any team in modern day football has won the final in the first time they're playing in it.

Madrid is the biggest team in the champions league but I'm certain Man City will be the winner of this particular tie and if Man City survives Madrid they will win anybody they play in the final between Inter Milan and AC Milan.

Manchester City are in first place in the Premier League and will have an even tougher time in the Champions League as they try to beat Real Madrid and maintain their lead at home. I remember how Real played against Liverpool, first losing 2-0 but then winning 2-5. Of course City are stronger than Liverpool, so Real can draw in England and destroy Manchester City at home in Spain.
The first leg of this tie is in Santiago Bernabeu, whilst the second leg is at the Etihad. I don't think there is any comparison between the Liverpool v Real Madrid game in the RO16 this season with this SF game against City. Liverpool are a complete shadow of themselves this season, but City are as good as they have always been, challenging for three trophies this time around, on the summit of the EPL table, into the FA Cup final and in the SF of the CL, thus they are a world apart from Liverpool.

Having said that, there's no team currently in world football that's capable of 'destroying' this Pep's Manchester City. This game is going to be pretty tight, but i am going with a City victory, and i even believe they have what it takes to beat Real Madrid home and away.
Manchester City and PSG have already been compared here. I also think Manchester City have high expectations because they don't have much experience. OK, I can give you another example - Manchester City were Premier League winners in 2021 and played Chelsea in the Champions League final. That time too, pretty much everyone said City would win, but they lost to Chelsea. I agree that City are very strong now, but don't underestimate Real Madrid, who are also playing great this Champions League season.

Manchester City didn't play that final to the best of their abilities against Chelsea. They had a little low in their performance and that was enough to Chelsea to benefit from it. It is still about the minor details in a game and when two of the best teams play against each other, these little details could be in favor of anyone of the two teams. Still I also think that Manchester City has a slight edge over Real Madrid this year, but only a very, very small one. Only a few percentage points since I believe that Haaland is the better striker and De Bruyne is in great shape and Grealish has been thriving throughout the whole season. Real Madrid has more experience, but I expect a bit more willpower from Manchester City.

But if you look at the performance that was shown today from Real Madrid it was not as good as previous seasons, they tend to show mediocre matches, especially in Laliga, they are very unstable.
Judging by what Manchester City has shown this season, it has performed much better, especially after the emergence of Haaland into their squad, it made the goals rain at Manchester City very good, even though Citu had no experience in this prestigious league but I am quite confident in City's abilities today. this could kick Anceloti and his team out of this season's UEFA Champions league championship.
Manchester City have plenty of chances to secure a Champions League semi-final match. On the other hand, Real Madrid will use great strategy in this match, but Real Madrid team is not performing very well in other leagues except Champions League. So to some extent, Manchester City can be kept ahead in the match.
It is true that Man City is now far superior to Madrid. That's just speculation because you see Man City's trend of being bombarded with goals. Superiority doesn't count in UCL experience matter most recall the last meeting between Real Madrid vs Man City last season when it look like Man City is already in the verge of qualifying for the finals while Real Madrid trailed them 5-3 fortunately Madrid made an unbelievable comeback to win the match at extra time courtesy of Benzema this based on experience in UCL, of course Man City might take most of the ball possessions in their next match and its obvious both clubs has a lot of quality players who can equally score goals, though some soccer analysts and pundits might tipped Man City to win based on their current form over Real Madrid who is struggling with form nevertheless I forsee a balance game between the two clubs.

Indeed Manchester City have never won a trophy in the champions league, they have only ever entered the semi-finals and even then in the 2015 season, and today they are dealing with a club that has brought home the champions league trophy 14 times, it will indeed be a fierce match.

Marseille scored 2 goals in 2 minutes yesterday and won 3 points in their own field and had 3 critical points in the week where Paris SG lost points. At the moment there is only 5 points difference between them and if Paris SG lose one more game, we can have a week where different possibilities will be discussed in the French league.

Manchester City team will try hard this time to confirm the match in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Because Manchester City could not secure the Champions League title for the past few seasons. However, Manchester City knows that victory will not be guaranteed easily with the Real Madrid team, so they will use different strategies.
Several times Manchester City have tried and several times they failed to win the Champions League, now the opportunity has come again to them, and the opportunity is even bigger now that Real Madrid have not been doing so well this season. Of course they can't make the same mistakes as last season, where they failed to beat Real Madrid because they lost concentration in the final minutes, or rather their mentality dropped dramatically at that time. Now they must be better.
To be fair the previous times they didn't had Haaland with them, and now they do. You may think how much one player can make a difference on a team that already won so much, but the reality is that their goal scoring was always based on a team play, they all played very well and they all scored and they were all great, now? Now they are more like Haaland is the top scorer, they do have a target man and they can just pass him the ball and take defense a bit more seriously.

The difference is that when you don't have Haaland, you need to attack as a team which leaves defense a bit weak, but when you have Haaland he can help you score even all by himself at times and you may have 8 players on your own half when Haaland took the ball and just scored, look at how they beat Bayern and how Haaland just took Upamecano for a ride.

That's from your own point of view. I still believe that if Barca meets city, they will be defeated by Barca. No big club has played City in this tournament apart from Bayern, that is in a poor form this season. This is the first time Man city will be playing a big team in the semifinals. If they don't take this match serious,Madrid will defeat them because Madrid players are goal mongers. When it comes to big club that can play quality football playing with Man city, Man city do easily give up the game if they are not leading, this is just the problem that I have with city. They are strong in England which I accept and I hope they will be able to prove that to the world by winning Madrid.

Chelsea Squad in 2021 didn't have a perfect squad, the Boys Tuchel used in winning the 2021 UEFA champion league was far below the standard in Paris Saint German bu chelsea was able to dominate champion league top teams like Real Mdraid, and Manchester City. I wouldn't say PSG lack the perfect Squad to play in the champion league, it is far from the real fact. PSG only suffering from inexperience both players and the coach doesn't have enough quality to play in the champions league, the good arm of the PSG team is the attacking line and that is not enough to win a Europa trophy, Europa trophy needs team work and that is what PsG team is lacking

What's more, they have to prepare a strong mentality against Real Madrid because something unexpected still lingers in the minds of the Manchester City players. But with Haaland I think this time Manchester City will have more advantages, but it depends on how Ancelotti will prepare his strategy to lock up Haaland.
