City were also behind Arsenal for a long time, but in the end they were able to turn things around. I agree that City are looking better now and they probably in a good mood, as they managed to come out on top in the Premier League, but this Champions League is a different tournament that a team like Real always approaches with a lot of responsibility. City look stronger, but Real Madrid won't give up victory from the Champions League semi-final so easily.

Several times Manchester City have tried and several times they failed to win the Champions League, now the opportunity has come again to them, and the opportunity is even bigger now that Real Madrid have not been doing so well this season. Manchester City are like newbie in Champions League whilst Real Madrid are like a senior guy there. Manchester City are strong and can have very excellent form but they don't have a huge successful history like Real Madrid which is important for player confidence at difficult times. With this pride of their successful history as well as their capability, Real Madrid players don't give up till last minutes of any match. This gives them unbelievable strength to make some crazy come backs in the past season as the most recent memory we can have.

History is important but history is made by people not by the air. Manchester City are improving themselves and maintaining their good performances in Champions League in latest seasons. Sooner or later, with such good performances, they will get enough luckiness to win Champions League.

That will be blasphemy to say Luka Modric is overrated because not only in the Champions league or La liga has he proven himself to be worth the hype but in the world cup and every other International competitions. Talking about stable performance, Luka Modric is one of the best midfielders currently in the game now so you cannot say he is overrated or less important to Real Madrid.

The saying "once a king, always a king" is not necessarily true. Real Madrid is without a doubt the king of the Champions league and has accumulated more experience than any other side in that tournament. However, today's performance of Real Madrid and the performance of their opponent, Manchester City, will make you question whether they can defeat Manchester City and advance to the final.

Manchester City is the team they must defeat in order to win the champions league; nevertheless, they must put in extra effort because Manchester City is not a team to be trifled with right now if they must win the Champions league.

But the king doesn't necessarily always win, right? they can still feel defeat.
