Yes, these are three players who scored 5 goals in one game. Maybe Haland is superior to Lionel Messi, because he only got 63 minutes of playing time. Maybe he can add to the number of goals if the opportunity to play the full 90 minutes.
With these 5 goals, he is now also on 1st place in the Champions League as top scorer and 2 goals ahead of Mohamed Salah. Salah will probably make his last game this season in the Champions League, they play against Real Madrid and have lost the first match 5:2. On 3rd place is Kylian Mbappe with 7 goals, and he is already out with Paris. So Halland will be the top scorer this season not only in the Premier League. With the game yesterday his stats in the CL are every 40 minutes 1 goal, just crazy.

Manchester City didn't give Leipzig many chances to even get a lot of touches of the ball throughout the match. The fast game and high pressure played by Manchester City forced the Leipzig defenders to make many mistakes. That first penalty was a bad start for Leipzig because after that Haaland seemed to be possessed devils and didn't stop scoring up to 5 goals.
I immediately switched my viewing to the FC Porto vs Inter Milan match as Haaland had already given Manchester City a 2-0 win last night against Leipzig.
Despite the Cityzens' big win, we have our doubts about Pep Giardiola's side in the UCL. Who knows who will be their opponent in the next round. If Manchester City's quarter-final draw is against a Serie A team or a Bundesliga representative, then their quest for European success will be difficult.

Napoli and Real Madrid have a great chance of qualifying. If Frankfurt need to win with a score above 2 against Napoli, then Liverpool need a win with a score above 3 against Real Madrid. On paper it is difficult to happen, but in football difficult things can happen.

Let's look forward to it.
I hope Napoli and Liverpool qualify for the quarter-finals. Real Madrid is the only La Liga team left, but it's hard to get Liverpool to easily score 3-4 goals to win. Liverpool will have to fight and do everything to qualify, and if that happens then Serie A and Premier League absolutely dominate the quarter-finals with 3 teams representing each.
Liverpool is your hope to qualify for the Quarterfinals?
Historically, Liverpool should not be underestimated by anyone in the UEFA Champion League tournament, but with their current condition you still hope they qualify. Are you serious?
Real Madrid won't be lowering their game at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ancelotti wants to make history. Moreover, they are currently the only team from La Liga.

Man City decided to show that they play as well as Real Madrid... It was a great match and even a pity for Leipzig... It would have been interesting to see Man City and Real Madrid in the final... As long as they don't meet in the semi-finals...

I’m very happy for Inter Milan to have qualified for the UCL quarterfinals since 2011. I knew going to Porto would be difficult as I was expecting them to lose but they surprised me with a goalless draw. Porto through everything at Inter to force extra-time but woodwork twice denied. Somehow I think Porto played very well. They were just unlucky in the game, they did everything in last 10 minutes but unfortunately they weren’t a able to put ball in Inter's goal post.
Inter played strong defense in the second leg. even though he couldn't score, it was enough to send Inter through to the next round. Porto is frustrated, they've tried as much as possible. but the tactics played by Inter were much stronger.

City also succeeded in destroying Leipzig. they show a very good quality of play. now just waiting for the Napoli vs Frankfurt and Madrid vs Liverpool matches

Manchester city played well in the game. I was expecting a win but wasn’t thinking they could score up to that number of goals. Pep wanted his team to dismantle Leipzig so they can progress to the next round. De Bruyne impressed on his return to the starting eleven against Leipzig, pulling the strings in their 7-0 victory and powering home a sensational long-range effort. Halaand was sensational in the game. In fact the whole team actually performed well and I’m afraid they can replicate this score line in their next game.
Manchester City is really the favorite in this match and it's true that many people won't predict this 7-goal victory. I also thought that Man City would only win with 2 or 3 goals, but in fact Halaand made new history for himself on the UCL stage.
Halaand and also De Bruyne were key in this match, De Bruyne played quite well in midfield and Halaand showed his quality in front of the opponent's goal.
The 5 goals that Halaand was able to score proved that he was quite productive and dangerous.
this could be the reason for increasing the team's mentality by being able to win matches with a large enough score and Man City really needs this because they are one of the candidates for the UCL championship this season.
Wow, I can hardly believe it! Man City absolutely crushed Leipzig, scoring total 7 goals! And let's talk about Erling Haaland for a moment, what a player! He's a goal-scoring machine and deserves all the respect in the world. It's almost like he has a sixth sense for where the ball will be and always manages to be in the right place at the right time to score. And with his impressive 5 goals in this game, he's now Man City's record scorer for a single season - what an achievement! Haaland's performance was nothing short of brilliant, he was lightning-fast and incredibly clinical in front of goal. And let's not forget about City's midfield, they're seriously strong and creating chances seems like a walk in the park for them. This win with such a high goal aggregate will definitely boost the team's morale, but I just hope their UCL journey won't end up losing like as before.

Few expected Leipzig to shock the Champions League this season by beating Manchester City. But instead Manchester City managed to surprise the world with Haaland's best weapon.

Six teams are already assured of advancing to the next round. Each team that has qualified consists of;
1. AC Milan (Serie A - Italy)
2. Bayern Munich (Bundesliga - Germany)
3. Benfica (Primeira Liga - Portugal)
4. Chelsea (Premier League - England)
5. Inter Milan (Serie A - Italy)
6. Manchester City (Premier League - England)

Of these six teams, perhaps Chelsea and Inter Milan are the teams that qualify dramatically because the effort to qualify is quite heavy.

There are two more teams that will work hard to qualify following the six teams above, namely;
7. Napoli vs Frankfurt, and
8. Real Madrid vs Liverpool

Napoli and Real Madrid have a great chance of qualifying. If Frankfurt need to win with a score above 2 against Napoli, then Liverpool need a win with a score above 3 against Real Madrid. On paper it is difficult to happen, but in football difficult things can happen.

In fact this is not really the case.
In fact, in this case, I think that Leipzig's original intention was to mark Haaland strictly, but guarding against him was very small because even though he was central, there were several troublesome movements of other players that made Manchester City very dominating.
The score is quite striking and quite different from the previous Leg which is proof that Manchester City did not take the first leg too seriously.
Quite a lot of goals and Haaland managed to score a quitrcik which is rare for players to score this in big competitions. This is truly an insane achievement for a 22 year old player.

@Jody.Drummer even if the entire team was marking him then too it would have been impossible to stop him yesterday, because he was on a mission i.e. to score as many goals as possible. Also now all eyes turn to Liverpool’s match and I don’t really expect them to stun Real Madrid, but then this is champions league football and upsets tend to happen so let’s see if Liverpool can cause an shock upset or not.
He was absolutely outstanding in this match. and like you said, no one can defend Haaland like him in this match.
On the other hand, apart from Haaland, almost all the players from Manchester City did really well in this match. we can even see the moves De Bruyne and the other midfielders are making, they are completely different in this game.

Talking about Liverpool and Madrid I'm not going to speculate much but Madrid are clear favorites at the moment.

Honestly Man City completely overran RB Leipzig rendering them helpless and much credit goes to Haaland for his clinical finish that culminated to 5 goals in a single match such an incredible record for the youngstar he was a fantastic goal machine he already scored 39 goals in all competitions for Man City this season, it was amazing and entertaining performance by the home team,  infact I never expected RB Leipzig to concede seven goals yestarday having been defeated twice only in their last 24 matches shows how formidable the squad is unfortunately couldn't withstand City.

With City winning easily by a score of 7 nil and the visitors posing little threat, one might question what went wrong with RB Leipzig. Pep Guardiola displayed prudency for the club with his amazing configuration he deployed in the encounter against Marco Rose. With five goals in the contest, Haaland received a rating of 10.0, while Kelvin De Bruyne received a rating of 9.4. The Belgian international is back in form and providing crucial assists on the field. City definitely has a significant advantage in the Champions League because Etihad Stadium is known for thrashing elite clubs.

Glad to see my choice was coming true. Porto was not able even make a single goal against intermilan. Intermilan has been qualified for the last 8 as we all manchester city by winning with very big scores against leipzig. It must be a very easy prediction. It's better for porto to keep trining to execute the golden chance that came to the club. I meant to look at how it was so hard for porto against intermilan. Glad to see that haaland was making 5 scores alone against leipzig. it seems like that the performance in the bundesliga was also affecting the performance from the club in UCL.

I guess that if halaand can add more goals if pep was not deciding to replace him with another player. What a super game from haaland.
I already suspected that the scores for Intermilan and Porto would be a draw because they were equally strong, at least seeing 2 representatives of Italy namely Intermilan and Milan qualify for the quarter-finals and in the other match Manchester City won with a big score, I think everyone thinks the same as me Manchester City will win the match because they are playing at home and in front of their supporters, of course they want to give their best, but who would have thought that the score would go crazy up to 7 - 0 and that is really a high score.

Although Inter Milan managed to qualify for the quarter-finals, the team's performance could not be said to be too strong. They were venomous in both matches against Porto. After winning the first leg, Inter Milan aimed to draw the match in the second leg. Porto's players attacked a lot throughout the match. On the other hand, Inter Milan played defensively. We don't see many attacks from Inter Milan players.

I was sure Manchester City would win against Leipzig. But they would score 7 goals which was a surprise to me. The most surprising thing is that Haaland scored 5 goals in this match. He was unopposed in this match.

Erling Haaland's great positioning and prolific power in front of goal is what I've never doubted despite the recent criticisms. He is naturally born to play in that center forward position and he does it with so much ease but my own only problem with his style of play is his inability to play in deeper positions when the team is having bad game and probably dribble few players and create chances for himself or his teammates to score.

He's always stationed in his top 9 position waiting for great passes come his way so he can convert them. He's a great footballer we know but for him to be seen in the same level with Mbappe, he should be playmaking sometimes.
Manchester City's big win in this match and everyone was amazed and focused on one player, namely Erling Haaland who scored 5 goals, this was extraordinary.
Regardless of the criticism that has been leveled at him lately, the statistics cannot be covered that Erling Haaland is an extraordinary player, in his first season with Man City he was immediately able to adapt quickly and contributed a lot.
I don't compare him to any player but for now at Man City he is the best striker.

What we're know is Real Madrid can pull an upset, while the other club seems unlikely to pull an upset. The match Liverpool vs Real Madrid is happen on Real Madrid's home too, do you think Liverpool will win with big margins in Real Madrid's home? I don't believe it.

Since Real Madrid already secure 3 points in order to qualify for the next round, I think they wouldn't mind if the match end in draw or lose for maximum of 2 goals.
yes, that's true, it's impossible for Liverpool to turn things around, especially since their team's performance is currently very bad.
Real Madrid are the kings of Europe, they have a very strong mentality, it is very difficult to beat them especially now that Real Madrid has won Agg 3 goals.

Haaland's positioning was so crazy during the match against leipzig. Very disappointed to see pep was changing him. It seems like that pep was also thinking about potentially getting injured caused by serious fouls by leipzig's players.
The coach will be more focused on club targets than player achievements that Haaland will probably be able to achieve if he stays on until the match is over, more than that, when Haaland was replaced, City was quite safe with the ticket to the next round.
There are still two competitions that require the focus of their core players like Haaland so changing them is a wise decision to be fit again when sunday they will return to play in the FA Cup.

Porto couldn't do much in the match against Inter they weren't even able to make the match go to extra time because Porto only needed 1 goal to do that, they dominated most of the match but failed on many occasions.

Erling Haaland will receive tight guard from the RB Leipzig defense, because they will realize how dangerous this young Manchester City player is. But if Pep Guardiola is good at taking advantage of the situation, then an empty space will be created that other Manchester City players can use to penetrate the Leipzig defense focused on Erling Haaland. Attacking is an option for Manchester City to win, but they have to be wary of counterattacks from RB Leipzig, they have to be careful with players who have speed, because they can create deadly counterattacks.

I think that Erling Haaland will be very closely defended by Josko Gvardiol and this could be a matchup where even Erling Haaland could have severe problems to ever get in good chances to score. Gvardiol is definitely one of the best central defenders of the world at the moment even though he is only 21 years old. That is also the reason why probably every big club has him on their list to sign, even though Gvardiols market value is already at 75 Million € at the moment.
If Leipzig is able to defend Haaland and of course the other ManCity attackers well, then everything is possible. The defense of ManCity is not the most stable one and a goal for Leipzig should be possible.
In fact this is not really the case.
