RB Leipzig is not a small team; they are one of the most competitive teams you can face right now. Manchester City's game against them in the first leg shows how strong they are and should not be underestimated by any team. If RB Leipzig defeats Manchester City in the second leg, it would be a shocking end to one the season best Premier League champions contender. This is not a league match, so if they want to win the second leg, they must be extra prepared and not relent on a goal, as RB Leipzig will surprise them and win.
No matter what Leipzig played in they previous leg against Manchester City, it still ball down to one thing which that Leipzig shouldn't be a big obstacle to man city at this point in the premiere league this is because Manchester city is the defending champion so at that they are better experienced and confident compared to smaller club like Leipzig.
But in football sometimes experience doesnt matter what matters is how prepared the team is and how their utilize the chances that come their way.
Best position that could happen to Bayern. Beating Union Berlin and then seeing Dortmund play against Leipzig next. If anything is going to make this season interesting, Dortmund must win this game I guess.
I thought that Union Berlin is a hard nut to crack, but in this game Bayern was just superior.
For now it comes down to Dortmund.
Well, Dortmund is a team that is in the same league as Bayern, things are really going very well with Bayern, I see that they are playing very well, it's like when they started the season, they have recovered their level and I think it will be very difficult for Dortmund beat them, but we must also consider that Dortmund have done very well in the UCL and they are both aiming for the same goals, and the goal is the Bundesliga and the UCL, nothing more, nothing less. So this clash will be very interesting when it happens, German football is on the verge of the greatest emotion.
Wow Chelsea finally won a game convincingly against a Dortmund side I thought will easily see off the Blues... Honestly this is a shocker for me, is this because of their fans or Potter finally understands his team and has got back to winning ways... I guess with such performances coming his job is no longer on the line after a bad spell he experienced.
The truth is that I am very happy that Chelsea won, although the penalty kicks were something that has generated a lot of controversy, however I am very happy for Potter who needed to win so much, I finally see a smile on the owner of Chelsea .
With respect to the other players, they played excellent, I didn't see Joao Félix very well, I think he was very slow, his feints didn't work out well, I don't know what he had, they substituted him and I think it was the best, there are times when the players are as they are very heavy and do not do their fútbol well, I loved how Potter proposed the game this time.
Chelsea beats Dortmund 2-0, advances to Champions League quarterfinalsHe went into Tuesday’s game against Borussia Dortmund with questions hanging over his future. Now he has the Champions League quarterfinals to look forward to.
Kai Havertz’ twice-taken penalty secured a 2-0 win in front co-owner Todd Boehly at Stamford Bridge to ease the pressure on Potter and spark celebrations inside the stadium rarely seen during such a troubled campaign.
Chelsea advanced 2-1 on aggregate after having trailed 1-0 from the round-of-16 first leg in Dortmund last month.
“We have been through a tough period and this competition means a lot for us,” Potter said. “We wanted to progress and get into the last eight and it sets us up for the next few weeks.”
