We have been able to speculate for a long time about the upcoming matches in the CL. I can't remember that there has ever been so much time between the last game of the group and the Knock Out phase in the CL. It is a pity that Mbappe will not play along, that is a big difference. Germany at the World Cup also mainly consisted of players from Bayern Munich and were already eliminated in the group stage?! Individually, PSG is in better shape, and PSG now also has a great coach, perhaps the best coach PSG has had in recent years due to the results. They won't care much that they were eliminated in the French Cup by Marseille. After all, they have already won that cup more than enough times. It's just about winning the CL.

After Kylian Mbappe who had to be absent due to injury in the match against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UCL playoffs, now it's Lionel Messi's turn to be doubtful for that match due to a hamstring injury against Marseille in the Coupe de France yesterday. It seems that this is bad news for all PSG supporters and of course the PSG squad will not appear at full strength against Bayern Munich in the first leg later. Galtier must be very dizzy watching his players get injured one by one and there seems to be no doubt that Bayern Munich's victory in the first leg is in sight.
They played a good amount of games this season, between the club games before the world cup, and then 2 of their stars playing up until the finals of the world cup, both of which are injured right now, and then some more club games. That looks like something that is fatigue related and they just overworked themselves.

I believe that Bayern is bad enough this year that PSG could potentially have a win or draw or at least not lose by a lot during that game, it could definitely have an impact but not too much. On the second game both players will be back and they could revenge whatever the first game result was and win that game with enough margin to go to next stage.
I agree which shows once again how bad it was to have the world cup at Qatar and move all the calendar just to cater to them, since now star players are suffering due to the enormous amount of work they have experimented during the previous months, PSG needs to change the way they will approach the first leg of the round of 16 and play more conservatively, as I believe that even if they were to lose for one score of difference they could easily win against Bayern as long as Messi and Mbappe can play during the second leg.

The Uefa Champions league is around the corners and the match I am most excited about is Paris saint German against Bayern Munich of Germany, this encounter has always been exciting.

Although I feel the match may not be fair as players like sadio Mane is back from injuries after a long break and now PSG players are going into injury as the would be without top players like Leonel Messi and kylian Mbappe.

The chance is very small because the current probability of failing is of course bigger.
Liverpool's condition is still very worrying now so it is very difficult for Klopp to survive, especially if the club's demands are not fulfilled by having to be in the Champions League zone next season.
Their only 2 options are to improve performance in the domestic league or indeed make the Champions League a benchmark for champions. These 2 options are obviously very difficult for them to do and Klopp is likely to leave.
There are many reasons why Liverpool have been so bad this season, and one of the most striking and felt is the departure of Sadio Mane and he is a phenomenal player for Liverpool. And his replacement Darwin Nunez, he is not the same type of player and is very far behind in terms of quality with Sadio Mane.
and for the match against Real Mandrid later, I doubt very much if you look at the current performance, even though Real Madrid's performance has also decreased, in terms of overall play Real Mandrid is much better than Liverpool.
and reportedly a series of minor results in the last few matches threatened Jurgen Klopp's position as coach. And chants of 'Klopp Out' began to be spread by fans on social media. And this will make Jurgen Klopp unable to sleep well, especially since the Premier League is classified as haunted and merciless, it is not impossible that a tragic fate will befall Klopp.
I honestly still can't believe the loss of one player makes them play badly overall. Mane's departure should only have an impact on the attack line, but currently their condition is problematic on all fronts.
The attack line is still lacking in productivity, the midfield is too old and difficult to compete and the fragility of the defense is not only caused by the departure of one player, I think. at least there's more to it than that.
But they have no time now but to pick themselves up and bounce back because it will be very disappointing if they leave quickly enough and find themselves in a disgraceful position domestically.

that's really bad news for PSG fans. but I think Munich is also not without problems. after previously their main goalkeeper was confirmed unable to play.
Messi's injury has really wrecked the game and PSG's chances of winning against Bayern .... I understand that sometimes, they'll say it ain't really necessary to have Messi and mbappe in the game,...and that the game could actually be played smoothly without them..(the absence of two good players in a team brings to zero effort) ...so it'll be very challenging for PSG cus they'll have no option than to race the fiercely-masked munich again, who's been praying for the slightest incapability to win the match.

If this condition is true, then indeed this will be even more difficult and even their chances have been confirmed to be closed in my opinion for this season's Champions League.
Even though there are still some good players there, the absence of Messi and Mbappe will clearly be a real scourge and indeed this will definitely make it more difficult for them.
Don't know what Nasser Al-Khelaifi will do if this season they fail again in the last 16 phase

There has been no confirmation regarding the seriousness of Lionel Messi's injury
This means that there is still hope for Lionel Messi to appear in the opening match of the round 16 of the Champions League between Parist Saint Germain vs Bayern Munich.
In contrast to Kylian Mbappe, who has been confirmed absent

PSG's only hope is Neymar, he will work even hard to cover the contribution of his potentially absent teammate in the match against Munich

Here is a list of injured players affecting Liverpool's form - https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpools-injury-list-suspensions-and-availability

Meanwhile the current attacking line is still not effective enough, especially since Nunez and Gakpo, who were brought in this season, still don't appear confident, so this makes it a little difficult for Klopp to adjust.
Their defense is now weak and they often concede goals but on the other hand, Klopp must be able to anticipate everything that will happen to his team, this downturn can affect their performance in the UCL match later.
Liverpool are hanging by a thread this season and what baffles me the most is that they have made some good signings but still haven't be able to make an impact in the league. Against Wolves in the epl, it became obvious how shaky Liverpool's defense was and they conceded three goals. To sum it up I think so much needs to be done to revive the squad.
Saying that this season has not been good for Liverpool, they are indeed on the verge of not being able to improve their game, even though the signing of several players has not affected them in the Premier League, while they will soon face Real Madrid in the near future, trying to win this is really difficult if Liverpool's conditions who are still less stable added that the H2H between them is more dominant in Real Madri than Liverpool so it is clear that Klopp's troops will find it difficult to deal with a situation like this.

Maybe Jurgen Klopp needs a process to restore the confidence of the players to revive their enthusiasm even though Klopp has experienced dealing with this at Liverpool but this time he has indeed had a difficult season.

That is awesome after hearing that Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi would miss tomorrow's game against Bayern Munich. With these key players missing from PSG's squad, I feel confident in placing my bets on Bayern. I'm crossing my fingers that Neymar will likewise be out for PSG, since his presence in the starting lineup would make Bayern more comfortable. Due to the absence of these crucial players, PSG may struggle in the first leg, giving Bayern a better chance of winning. The odds for Bayern is now 2.45

However, I realize that PSG fans may not take well to this information. There is always a chance of losing money whenever you bet on PSG, as unexpected things may happen in any game. While the absence of their favorite stars is certainly frustrating for fans, it does allow for other players to shine. This is a match I've been looking forward to seeing and I'm excited to see how it goes either way.

You are quite cynical  Grin
As for Neymar, it can be both a plus player for his team and a minus one (for example, earn a red card in a few minutes and leave the team in the minority).
Let's see how Galtier solves such problems, but I would not be too optimistic, since the star trio plays worse when they play together. Perhaps PSG without stars would be a more organized team. Although Mbappe is a loss anyway.

If in rough language, maybe I would say what can we expect from Liverpool's appearance now?

There'd be lots of expectations from not just fans but football lovers because these two played against each other last season in the champions league final. Considering the way they have not been stable this season, I feel Ancelotti's men would have a field day at Liverpool's expense but then since football is full of surprises, maybe Liverpool could have a chance to change things at the Anfield come 15th.

The meetings between Liverpool and Madrid always don't go well. They met in the last 2 times in the Champions League final but the results were very disappointing for Liverpool. Their condition when compared to the last few seasons is clearly worse than before so it is indeed a little complicated for the club.
I still feel that Madrid will qualify for this phase no matter what and it could be a bad ending for Klopp at Liverpool if indeed this season they have to fail in all competitions.
If the condition of the Liverpool team itself does not experience significant changes or improvements before the round of 16 matches in the Champions League begins, it seems that there is no better hope for Liverpool than to just accept the reality that will happen and Real Madrid clearly have greater potential to qualify for the next round. Because with Liverpool's current condition, the Liverpool team has more potential to return home and won't last long in the Champions League this season.
If in rough language, maybe I would say what can we expect from Liverpool's appearance now? They are very different from the team we knew last season, and it even seems like this is a different team even though most of them still have the same players even with the same coach. Jurgen Klopp will definitely be the first to be blamed for a Liverpool performance like this. The matches in the Champions League will be tough, especially with the opponents they will face as big as Real Madrid.

I actually think this will have a lot of impact.
If we look at their matches in Ligue 1 when players like Neymar, Messi and Mbappe are not around, they seem to be an ordinary club without any strength and there is a lot of evidence of that and maybe one of them was when they faced Marseille in the French Cup a few days ago.
Bayern are not doing well for the bundesliga but look at what they did in the group phase, saying it won't have too much of an impact by losing these 2 pillars is clearly a mistake.

their meeting now will be a battle of tactics from the two coaches. whoever makes the more efficient tactic will win the fight.
even though we know how PSG performed when Messi and Mbappe were not strengthened. they have completely lost their sharpness up front. of course, there will be alternative strategies that will be implemented by PSG. they certainly don't want to fall in the last 16.

Lionel Messi may not play in the next match. However, Lionel Messi could not adapt himself properly in the PSG team. I think Lionel Messi's career was disrupted a bit by going to PSG.

I did not even know, that Kylian Mbappe will not be able to play in the first leg against Bayern Munich. If it would really turn out to be true, that in addition to Mbappes absence, Lionel Messi would miss that game too, then this definitely would be a pretty big weakening of the Squad of PSG. I mean Paris is famous for their 3 absolute world class players in the offense and if two out of 3 are missing, then it will be pretty hard to compensate. That being said, both Messi and Mbappe are doing literally nothing for the defense, so if others players are playing instead, then i think PSG will at least have a higher chance to not concede a goal.

It seems that it is very difficult. problem, the Liverpool players really underperformed. Not just the front line, but the team as a whole. Klopp doesn't have many options, he has done it many ways, rotating players, changing systems, but not finding a solution for his squad. I think the main problem is the mental drop of the players. plus, the number of players who are prone to injury has made them play poorly since the start of the season until now.

as you said, Liverpool are really on the edge. IMO, Klopp should have a head to head approach with his players. rebuilding the mental and spirit that has fallen down, to bring out the potential of the players and get back on the real track.

That's a wonderful news for me since i were putting all of my bets on bayern. It's bad news for those who may put their money on PSG but i just hope that neymar will not able to play against bayern as well. This is really giving me more advantage caused by some important players unable to play against bayern in UCL. I hope that PSG will be losing against bayern. We will be very close to the continuation of UCL. I must be thankful with marseille caused by that another important player of PSG will not able to play against Bayern. The absence of mbappe and messi will be decreasing a threat for attacking line of PSG for bayern. This news makes me so happy caused by bayern is coming back again to the its best performance.
I would not be so quick to get excited about this event. Neymar is a great and creative player, the absence of Mbappe could even be a plus in this situation, because PSG can play from the defense, knowing that the 2 best players can not play, which will create problems for Bayern. The qualification of PSG players will allow them to play safely on counterattacks and it is possible that just with Bayern it will play in PSG's favor.

It is also unclear in what lineup Bayern will approach the match, it is also possible that not all key players will be able to participate in the match.

Sooner or later Jurgen Klopp must be able to bring Liverpool out of their slump, he has really good players but all the players he has are really underperforming what they usually show. Jurgen Klopp must fix this first, he must think about how to get his players back to the game they are used to playing. I don't see this as part of the weak mentality that Liverpool's players have, because some of their players are experienced and have also played a lot of matches in big competitions. Jurgen Klopp must be able to lift their morale.
As a coach of liverpool and it's a must for klopp to make liverpool able to win against real madrid. The fate of jurgen klopp will be determined from the result against real madrid. Once liverpool will be going out of champion league and im sure klopp will be sacked.
FSG gas been searching a new coach that already prepared as a replacement for him. it's caused by liverpol will have no chance to participate in the upcoming champion league next season.
FSG didn't wanna see that happen with liverpool and that's why terminating klopp gonna be the best way for liverpool.
