They need someone like Lampard in his glory days who could switch the play in the moment.

Dortmund vs Chelsea is a good match. Chelsea have been performing badly I know but Dortmund has not been at their best this season. They are 3rd in the Bundesliga but they are not playing the football that they are capable of. It could be a interesting match up because Chelsea are looking for some success and when I have seen them play they have looked dangerous. I think they have been unlucky for most of their losses this season.

This could have happened to Liverpool if the conditions and situations that occurred within the Liverpool team did not change for the better because after the arrival of new players and players who could fill certain vacant positions. The team certainly hopes that they can experience better results in certain seasons so it is only natural to want to see better developments when there have been improvements on the players' side.

I see your point. They may agree on some policies on punishments but these are still organizations independent of each other. It seems the case stemmed from the same allegation back in 2018. Both organization launched their own investigation. UEFA wrapped up and handed out the fine and ban in 2020. Premier league just took a longer time. Their findings is probably more conclusive and airtight.

Ok I am not fully into the case and know the finest details, but when this stems from 2018 I ask myself what the heck happened over all those years when you take into account that one judgment was already revoked? That doesn't make a lot of sense. Not only for the club, but also not for the fans. When I were a fan of Manchester City and I read that they have been acquitted on all accounts, how does it make sense then that the same case could lead to an exclusion 5 years or so later again?

I am for fairness to its fullest and we need some sanctions or otherwise the normal soccer club won't exist anymore at some point. At the same time it should be applied to all clubs equally. Or maybe the punishment should work such that the rich clubs violating the rules must pay a fine to the poorer clubs. That way we also get one step closer to equality.

An exclusion from the Champions League would be a punch in the face for all of those clubs as that is what the investors are after. Winning the Champions League!

I understand that Pep may want to leave, or even some players may want to leave because of this, we still need to wait and see if it is true. I mean we all "believe" it is true considering how much they spent, but by that regard Chelsea must be punished for sure, they spent 500+ million, never seen City spend that much.
