Things are going worse for Liverpool day by day. They lost to Brighton by 3-0 today and their performance was just horrible. Of course there are some injured players now. There are players like Firmino and Diaz also among them. But even when at least one of them wasn't injured the team were still not performing at a very satisfying level. The World Cup break didn't help Liverpool even a bit as it seems. Klopp seems like he doesn't have much option in his hands these days.

They haven't made a midfielder transfer which is another problem. It is difficult for them to bring a top midfielder in the middle of the season though. In addition to all of these, van Dijk is also injured now. The situation has become a nightmare for Liverpool and I don't know how much they will be able to motivate themselves for the Champions League while there is only a month left. Let's see if they will surprise us here.
I think not only Liverpool but also Chelsea are experiencing a decline where soon the Champions League top 16 matches will start, I think they have to really improve themselves to play in the champions league later because if they don't improve they will be eliminated

The winter transfer market is still open right?
There is an opportunity for both teams to improve several important positions that are considered incompetent. It will be difficult for Liverpool and Chelsea to survive in the Champions League with the current condition of the team. Moreover, Liverpool will open the round of 16 against Real Madrid, a team with a mentality that cannot be doubt, especially in the Champions League competition.

Those two England teams u just mentioned will ever made it easy for an opponent team in the Europa competitions. No doubt, Chelsea and Liverpool are underperforming in EPL, but that will not justify for their performance in the UEFA champion league round of 16. After all they were still having poor performance while they were making their ways to this champion league face. To me, I think their hope is well wrapped around the UEFA champion league title.

Of course I didn't mean Messi, lol. And I'm not saying that Ronaldo is the greatest athlete among all sports in general (such statements cannot be correct), but he is undoubtedly one of the greatest.
And I see only one reason that can prevent Mbappe from reaching the degree of dominance as in the era of Ronaldo against Messi, and that is Haaland. But Haaland's problem is that at the national level he will always be deep behind Mbappe (who already has World Cup gold and silver). But at the club level, Haaland is now ahead - he is already in the strongest league, while Mbappe is still in the farm league.
U are correct. Mbappe will have the upper hand at the National level compared to haaland. But judging from the clubs that are currently desiring to have Mbappe in their team, I think he will have more Europa achievements than Haaland. I wonder why u called the France league a farmer league. if u should focus only on PSG for now, u can see that mbappe will go far irrespective of the league he plays, because already he has the potential.

Yes, Mbappe plays equally well in all competitions - top 1 scorer in World Cup + Champions League + Ligue 1 at the moment. But does that change the fact that Ligue 1 now has no competition for PSG? England, Spain and Italy look a hell of a lot better in this regard. There is also Germany with a similar dominance of Bavaria, but if you remove PSG and Bayern from the discussed clubs, then the Bundesliga will look clearly stronger than Ligue 1.

Real Madrid continues to be seen as the favorite against Liverpool.  Troubled matches are played for Liverpool in the league.  They get the results they don't want.  Real Madrid, on the other hand, are better overall in the league and are under the impression of the team closer to qualifying in the UCL.  In my opinion, the Real Madrid option seems wiser as a bet.
I am sure that Liverpool players have more pressure and psychological barriers when they have to play with Real Madrid again. After many bad results when played with Real Madrid in the last five seasons, it is not easy for Liverpool players to start matches with empty mind. They likely are obsessed with past defeats which can impact their performance in upcoming two matches.

In addition, Liverpool have worse form in this season compares to Real Madrid and it will make them a weaker team in their matches. Anyway, they can fight and decide their destiny and if Villareal can beat Real Madrid, Liverpool can do it as well.
Even in Liverpool's better conditions than now, like last season for example, Real Madrid can still beat Liverpool. Moreover, if Liverpool were in a situation like this there would be a lot of doubts directed at them. In the domestic league they played in, in their last match they had to lose 3-0 to Brighton and even their game didn't show anything better. I keep trying to stay optimistic amidst the reality that exists with this team, I really hope that there are many miracles that will change the morality of this team that I like in a very short time.
Very disappointed of course, but hopefully there will always be hope.

I'm also disappointed with Liverpool's performances this season, but they still have enough time until the match with Real to prepare well and raise the level of their game.
The Champions League is a special competition, in which players always give their best and often play beyond their capabilities, so there are always a lot of unexpected results.
In the national championship, even if you play a weak game and lose, you have enough time during the long season to correct it and keep winning.
In the Champions League, there is no opportunity to fight back, one slightly weaker game and you are out of the competition. A very ruthless competition in which only the most mentally prepared teams can go all the way and become champions of Europe.
The Liverpool players are aware that they can't do anything in the English championship anymore and the match with Real is now the highlight of the season for them and that's why I'm sure they will play their best match of the season and then anything is possible.

you're quite right, Haaland is playing in a league where Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have been to many finals of the Champions League in the last few years unlike french teams who barely even go through the group stage, but this still doesn't mean that Mbappe will fail in a big league, we'll never know, he might even pick up a good pace with a certain team and their play style to perform even better, the next few years will be interesting to say the least for the two of them, i don't really see anything besides injuries that could stop them.

We can all on calling the league that Mbappe plays in a farmers league as much as we want but that doesn't takeout the fact that Mbappe is a better player than Haaland. The premier league is also much of a farmers league as well considering how dominate the Manchester city side are in the league and they're also among the title race this season.

Soon Mbappe will leave PSG to Madrid and then this excuse can't be used again. Haaland is basically been hand fed the goals he's getting while we see how Mbappe is making use of his skills to get himself his goals. Understandable that both are been fed the ball due to the quality of players they have on their team but still Mbappe puts more work into his goals than Haaland that basically just score tap in.

They still have a good chance to turn games around the Premier League is open still
They have to stop playing chamberlain henceforth
If they don't get better we should expect nothing but getting trashed by Real Madrid in the Champions League.

I agree on it.

As I also said before Liverpool's future is really ambiguous. They have a very inconsistent effort in the English Premier League. The injuries are just making things even more difficult for them indeed. Liverpool are seven points away from top 4 already now and this might push them to focus on the Champions League more maybe. Because if they can't catch up with top 4 then the Champions League title is going to be their only option to join the tournament again. However this bad form would affect their Champions League effort as well I assume.
Liverpool are currently in difficult times, with inconsistent form in the Premier League making the chances of qualifying for the next round even smaller. Just look at how Brighton humiliated Liverpool in the Premier League, with a performance like this it will be difficult for Liverpool to win against Real Madrid, especially when Head to Head the two teams always place Real Madrid as the superior team. This season I don't expect much from Liverpool, as a result of not being able to maintain performance makes it increasingly difficult for Liverpool to appear in the Champions League next season.

I would like to know if Mbappe can carry this thirst for achievement through his entire career and become as great as Ronaldo and other great athletes who have been at the top level not for 4-5 years but for a couple of decades.
Of course he wants to reach something higher, but I don't think he can reach the same level as Messi and Ronaldo. But somehow I'm too shaky to call Messi better than any other athlete in the world in terms of individual achievements and everything. LOL

Mbappe is still very young, and he has the potential to get even better before the peak of his career is overshadowed by his advancing age. He is only 24 years old and at least he has 10 years left to achieve anything in his career.

Let's see more because at the moment of the transfer market, maybe Liverpool will make a big surprise. But if they are only him in the transfer market this season then I believe they will not be stable. They have poor match statistics in the League. They lost to a non-seeded club.
The arrival of Cody Gakpo has also not been able to make them find positive results. His debut against Brighton ended in defeat. But so far in the UCL they have been quite great and are able to qualify for the knockout stage at the moment. But they will be against Real Madrid, it is not an easy game.

Because in Ligue 1 there's no clubs can compete against PSG, in Premier League there's a lot strong clubs, the other strong league is Serie A.

No doubt Haaland and Mbappe are high likely will become the next GOAT if their performance are still outstanding, we will see which is better in Champions League, PSG need to beat Bayern Munich first. In other hands Manchester City will fight against Leipzig, well I wouldn't worried anything since Leipzig has almost zero chance to beat Manchester City.

The match will happen on the next month, I can't wait to see it.

Well, in this case, it will be a little complicated because there are indeed the same number of Ronaldo and Messi supporter bases, but on the other hand, saying that you are the best player is not wrong, and I also agree with what you said about Ronaldo.
As for Haaland, it's a little difficult like for the country because the comparison is quite far but at the club level he is actually the one who is better now compared to Mbapee in terms of competition because as you said Ligue 1 is just a farm league and that won't change any facts.
I think that haaland is still under mbappe. So, what already achieved by haaland? I meant we shall take a look at the fact that if mbappe has been winning so many titles include the most difficult title to be won world cup while haaland have less titles compared with mbappe.
Mbappe has been showing its performance by carrying its country to the final but that's sad to say that mbappe was not able beating barcelona and failed to made its country back to back world cup champion.
I think that's clear that if mbappe is far better compared with haaland. Just because haaland was top scorer in EPL and it doesn't make him better than mbappe

I think that people shall know that if it's the hype transfer like gakpo will always be successful. Sometimes it can also become unsuccessful transfer. Brighton was an easy team but the problem is liverpool has even worst performance compared with brighton. That's why i pick madrid in the champion league rather than liverpool. Just caused liverpool got gakpo and it doesn't mean if it was changing the situation. I meant the latest result against brighton has been showing us about how good or bad gakpo in liverpool. Bookies must be changing its mind by favoring madrid rather than liverpool. Im all in on madrid. Madrid is far stronger compared with liverpool if it keeps struggling like that.

The conflict with Neymar has already been settled, I would rather be afraid that Mbappe harbored a grudge against Messi (as someone who did not condemn the antics of the crazy goalkeeper of the Argentina national team towards Mbappe). While Mbappe seems rational enough to just ignore it all, his ambitions are much higher than these petty squabbles.
As for the chances of PSG against Bayern, they are probably not great, as it will be a typical game of team of stars against a star team.
At least in this case he is more mature because now he is more stable in his emotions and is not as explosive as before when he had problems with his teammates.
This is a very good thing indeed because regardless of anything professional and ambition for him in the future is far more important than having to keep conflict for a long time.

It is clear that despite the fact that Mbappe became a world champion at a young age, and he already has many personal achievements, he has retained gigantic ambitions. This allows him to overlook small things, but I am sure that the same ambition will serve as a huge fuel for conflict if it is not about small things, but about Mbappe's path to his goals.
I would like to know if Mbappe can carry this thirst for achievement through his entire career and become as great as Ronaldo and other great athletes who have been at the top level not for 4-5 years but for a couple of decades.
Mbappe is one of the hottest prospects in the world of football now, his talent and outstanding records speak of him and as we know when you take on the spotlight you attract so much attention as well as trolls waiting at every mistakes to criticize you and bring you down. I hope he doesn't feel too important because he has Haaland as a competition. Mbappe has a lot he can achieve in the long run and I will only advice to stay focused and humble.
