If u say this about Liverpool what then will you say about Chelsea who is in worst form than Liverpool? As far as Europe competition is consent I don't look little at any EPL team who makes it up to the round of 16.
Liverpool like you say has a bad result in EPL competitions but as far as the champions league, Klopp and his boys will fight with their last blood. Same as Chelsea
Some of big clubs were performing the worst. Chelsea has been performing even worst compared with Liverpool. Liverpool and Chelsea gonna try so hard to make sure if both will be qualified for the next round. Chelsea may a bit lucky compared with city caused by Chelsea must have faced Dortmund and do know that so well if dortmund was not as good as real Madrid in the UCL. You can't compare Liverpool and Chelsea. Both may in the worst situation but liverpoll was getting so many disadvantages against real madrid. That's caused by when you are trying to see the head to head between real against Liverpool and you will know about the fact

Real Madrid have been doing quite well this season, but they haven't been as consistent as their usual selves, they aren't at the summit of the la liga table because of that, and they were also easily brushed aside by Barcelona in Supercopa final, but they aren't as bad as Liverpool have been, Klopp's side haven't just been bad, they have been terrible thus far this season.

Having said that, whilst we can't really predict the outcome of the game as it is a couple of weeks away, if Liverpool do not improve, they are going to be beaten convincingly by Real Madrid, but if Liverpool can get in their right rhythm before that game, then we have a real contest on our hands.

Yes, you're right, Liverpool,, in general looks worse than Real Madrid, but sometimes they can show their best game, just like Real Madrid can suddenly show a very bad game, as they did recently with Barcelona. In Madrid, Real is likely to win, as Liverpool's away matches are even worse, and the home match can be drawn. Liverpool can't find their game, I don't believe that Klopp will be able to radically change anything before the matches with Real Madrid.

Klopp has tried in various ways to restore his team's performance. unfortunately, until now Liverpool has not made significant progress. although Klopp has carried out many experiments, with various formations, tactics, patterns and strategies, his efforts have not yielded the expected results.
on the other hand, Klopp is more focused on improving Liverpool's performance rather than looking for new players like Chelsea did. because after all, the problem that Liverpool is facing is not because of the players who do not have quality. however, they faced many internal problems, one of which was that Liverpool had many injured players since the start of the season and until now several players have still been absent due to injuries.

Talking about round of 16 matches. on paper, Madrid should be able to easily overthrow Liverpool, who incidentally are currently in a declining phase of performance even though in the first leg Madrid will play away games. But in football, anything can happen. but sometimes, we will not be surprised if when Liverpool surprises.

The history between Liverpool and Real Madrid has its own story. Real Madrid is still ahead of any team when it comes to the number of UCL trophies. At the moment Real Madrid is still in consistent condition both in the domestic league and the UCL, they always get the best results from every match and when I meet Liverpool in the play-offs later I'm sure Real Madrid will win in leg 1 and leg 2.
This season will certainly be a little easier for Real Madrid in facing Liverpool in the Champions League because Liverpool themselves are in a very inconsistent condition. Everyone can see this in every Liverpool match in their domestic league where Liverpool have lost very often to teams that are not too strong and now Liverpool is in a very bad ranking in their domestic league. So this will certainly be very difficult for Liverpool to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
I hope so. Real Madrid was also facing the same problem as Liverpool and this gonna be a very good chance for real Madrid if the club can go back to its best performance as soon as possible. The loss against Barcelona has been making so many people were talking about real Madrid right now.
Real Madrid's performance was declining from the top. The worst result was achieved by Liverpool when Liverpool was facing brighton. It's a big shame for Liverpool to lose a lot of goals against brighten.
I will never pick Liverpool. real Madrid is far better for me personally in the upcoming match of champion league. there are only small chances for Liverpool to win the current season.

Real Madrid has been a little bit down in La Liga for many reasons. Ancelotti insists he needs a few players to improve his team's form with a full-back and a striker the two players who are urgently needed. Real Madrid cannot fully rely on Benzema until the end of the season, and that will definitely be a problem when Benzema fails to prove his consistency in scoring goals.

But I think Real Madrid will do well in their preparations against Liverpool in the Champions League. We proved it last season even if there were doubts, but the title is the most valid proof that Real Madrid should not be underestimated under any situation.
Seems not problem facing by Real Madrid although have underperformance at last several matches actually loss opportunity at Spanish Cup from Barcelona. I am not agree with you about underperformance from Karim Benzema and Carlo Ancelotti need new player on center forward, exactly after World Cup Karim Benzema have consistency performance and success scored 5 goals of 4 matches.

Its seems most brilliant statistic having by Karim Benzema for Real Madrid although he can't help team beaten from Villareal at La Liga and get loss from Barcelona in Spanish Cup. Have new replacement I think on defender area, seems Ferland Mendy need new back up player for his position after several games I watched he not have top performance.

Luciano Spalletti is at a golden period in his coaching career with Napoli. I think he will take advantage of this golden moment to bring Napoli to be a serious enough challenger team in the Champions League in the competition for the Trophy.
Indeed, if you look at their current strength, it looks quite promising that they can qualify for the next round. They managed to make juventus embarrassed a few days ago. While their match is still quite long, it's February. There is no recent record of Napoli's match against Frankfrut. So it seems that if you and Naples underestimate Frankfrut it is wrong. They are also a pretty good team, their spirit we can't know. Moreover, The first leg will play in Germany, Deutsche Bank Park, I think they will try to win without conceding a goal.

The meeting of Liverpool and Real Madrid in the Champions League is not a new one. These two clubs has met severally is this recent champions league outing. The result of their  meetings always favour Madrid. Even when  Liverpool will come for revenge, they will end up being defeated again.
I think Madrid will beat Liverpool outside Anfield.  But if it is the Madrid we saw against Barca yesterday, they cannot beat Liverpool

Liverpool and Real Madrid are teams that have a long history in the Champions League. Both of them are also the most trophy collectors in Europe. But from the historical record of the meeting between the two, Real Madrid is superior. Even twice, Liverpool were humiliated in the final.

However, Madrid's performance after the World Cup break began to decline. Even the last game Madrid was able to beat by Barcelona. Ancelotti is of course very worried about the situation in his current team, I think he needs to add new players to his squad to face the intense competition in the Champions League. Because it is very unlikely if Ancelotti continues to rely on Benzema, Modric and Kroos.

Real Madrid is very favored against Liverpool, but if you continue to rely on a squad like today I'm sure El Real will not be able to defend its title.

Real Madrid have been even better than Liverpool most of the time, not just now. Liverpool have only won 6 titles compared to Real Madrid's 14 titles so far, meanwhile Liverpool are only 1 title ahead of Barcelona which ranks 5th in the acquisition of titles. Real Madrid's performance this season is also better than Liverpool's, but you can expect something different in the Champions League considering that Liverpool have only lost once in the group stage.

The performance of the Liverpool team is not stable. Liverpool was also badly beaten in the last match against a weak Brighton. But let's not forget that Liverpool is an experienced club and they have a strong squad. And maybe because of tactical weakness, we are not getting good performance from Liverpool. In the match between Madrid and Liverpool, Madrid is definitely the favorite. Still, Liverpool is not to be taken lightly. If Real Madrid makes any mistakes in the match, they are likely to lose points.

I agree with you on this Liverpool is not in good shape as they have suffered several defeats from the weaker teams lately but when it comes to their game in the Champions League, I think is going to be an interesting game because knowing that they are up against Real Madrid Aline will motivate them to put up a good performance and as we all know, Liverpool have a good experience in the game likewise  Madrid so we should expect a tough match between the two side as they both will not want to miss out in the next stage. Madrid is not the favourite in my opinion because them performance has not been solid like before but they can rise up to do the unthinkable since is going to be a big match for them.

The Champions League is a special competition in which football players always give their best.
In the championship, if a team loses a match, there is enough time for the club to return to the top with new victories, but in the Champions League you always have to be at the highest level and mentally and physically ready at all times.
Some clubs like PSG or Manchester City, despite investing a lot of money in their teams, never manage to win the Champions League.
That is why it is very difficult for a team to say that it is the favorite in the Champions League.
The success of Villarreal last season in the Champions League is the best example of this.

I have to say that Liverpool are really struggling at the moment. I can see, bringing in Cody Gakpo to the team has not made any noticeable difference to the performance on the pitch. Jurgen Klopp's loss against Brighton was something that was totally unexpected. Due to the fact that they have had a really rough run of form, I have a feeling that they are going to have a very hard time playing against Real Madrid. In spite of the fact that Real Madrid recently lost their final match against Barcelona, overall Real Madrid are in a far better state than Liverpool at this point in time.
Just the fact that Real and Liverpool lost, shows that these teams are not all right. And if for Real Madrid the last game with Barcelona was unsuccessful, and perhaps this is an isolated case, then for Liverpool this is a frequent occurrence, they alternate victories with defeats throughout the season and it is not clear what can be expected from them. Therefore, Real Madrid will be my favorite here, but most likely both teams will score goals in matches, because they have a good attack and not the best defense, especially Liverpool.

A lot of big teams are suffering right now which seems a little bit weird from a viewer's perspective. But I think that in a head to head match Real Madrid has the advantage over Liverpool. Because I think the Liverpool team at this moment lacks a bit of chemistry which is not the case for Real Madrid. Yes, they have slipped once against Barcelona but other than this match they have been in good form so far.

Football seasons in Spain and England are very long and tiring and it is completely normal that football teams cannot play every game at the highest level and win all the time.
However, I think that the situation of Liverpool and Real cannot be compared, because in Spain for a long time only 2 clubs are fighting for the top, Barcelona and Real, while in England the competition is much stronger and the league is better, with many more candidates for the championship title.
Liverpool has a slightly weaker season than usual, but they still have a good chance to win at least fourth place, which guarantees a place in the Champions League next season.
For them, the game against Real will be the highlight of the season, the most important game of the year and I'm sure they will play a good game against Real.
After all, they already beat Manchester City this season and showed that they are still a great team that can beat any team in the world. The match between Real and Barcelona a few days ago showed that Real has its own problems and that they are not invincible or favorites in the match against Liverpool.

Yes but overall if we look at both the teams in their respective leagues, we can for sure say that Real Madrid is in a far better position compared to Liverpool. Real Madrid have slipped only once in this game against Barcelona, but Liverpool have been playing inconsistently throughout the season which is a bit worrying for their match against Real Madrid.

Although I agree with you that they might be able to finish top four to secure the champions league position, however, for the time being right now, Real Madrid are a better team than Liverpool

First of all, I would say that Real Madrid is more likely to win as Liverpool are not in good form.
With big clubs, experience is more important than recent form and if their players still have ambition and reasons to fight, they can play very well. Like Liverpool, they are in a bad season with many problems from injuries to bad performances of players. Nevertheless I think their players have more willingness to fight in Champions League. They still have a good squad and Premier League is over for them as they can not beat Arsenal or Manchester City to win Premier League. In Champions League, knock-out phase will start in February and they can win a few matches and have another final match.

There are less matches in Champions League to win its trophy and with knock-out matches, everything can occur.

Quote
Because there is no more experienced team than Real Madrid on a platform like the Champions League. I also checked the results of the previous head-to-head matches between these two teams. The Liverpool team could not win even one of the last 6 head to head matches. Real Madrid won 5 matches and drew 1 match. In addition, in these 6 matches, Liverpool scored only 2 goals, on the other hand, Real Madrid scored 11 goals. The Liverpool team will be much ahead in the statistics of the previous matches.
Experience and form are different things. Even a club have excellent form but if they don't have enough experience in Champions League, they can lose easily in knock-out phase.

Real Madrid won many trophies there because they are a big club, with so great tradition and their players already experienced many matches in Champions League against big giants there. With a pride of champion and strong mentality, they don't give up if matches have yet ended.

In the past season, Real Madrid reverted many matches so impressively with many big victims PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City. Liverpool is one of favorite opponents for Real Madrid. During Klopp era, many times Real Madrid won against Liverpool.

Liverpool has had very bad results in the domestic league recently. It was losing against a weak club like brighten with huge scores. I think that what you have been saying above will come true for sure. The problem is that was making us so difficult to predict caused by Liverpool has a good head to head against real Madrid too. Even though Madrid has been winning more rather than Liverpool but Liverpool was still able to win against Madrid three times. That being said that Liverpool has the capability to defeat Madrid at this moment but without its old trident. This gonna a hard match for Liverpool.

I disagree that Real Madrid are currently on their top form. Yes before the World Cup break they were brilliant but this Madrid team looks disoriented since the league resume after World Cup. The absence of Touchemane has been a big blow to them. It also seems Vinicius jnr is either suffering from fatigue from or is having an un disclosed injury because he seems to be off it this season. This problems gives Liverpool a glimpse of hope for their showdown but Liverpool on the other hand aren’t doing themselves any favors by playing poorly since the return of the league and if this inconsistency doesn’t stop before the match week then Real Madrid might be on course to eliminate them.

I think Klopp could very well turn things around in the club. He has proven time and time again to be very capable to deliver on the club expectations. The blame would in most cases, rest on the manager of the club if the players don’t perform according to expectations. Things may not be going as expected for Liverpool at the moment but that’s just football. You win some, you lose some.

It definitely will not be an easy game for Liverpool when they face Real Madrid as Real Madrid is at their top form and play well. Real Madrid is most likely the preferred team to win the game. One thing I know for sure is that I’m not putting my money on Liverpool in this game.

They are not at their peak right now. Madrid I know they are capable of doing anything, but when I looked at Madrid's previous results, they had only won three games, lost one, and drawn another. I felt that this was a poor showing before the world cup because, when I looked at group F, all of the teams were easy wins for Madrid. I hope this gives them the motivation they need to play well when they return.
