The matchup of Bayern Munich vs Paris saint germain is definitely the highlight of the first round of the knockout stage this year. It is kinda sad that this match happens so early in the competition because both teams involved definitely belong to the big favorites to win the Champions League this year. For me the outcome of this match is totally open. PSG probably has a little more quality in the offense, but Bayern is a very strong team with good players on every position.

Bayern loss of goalkeeper won't stop them from winning Psg they still have time to get a new goalkeeper
Both of them met in the finals years back and Bayern Munich still won

No doubt big clubs having good bench strength but still they can afford to missed out few players same happening in Bayern Munich case but as we all know still we have more than one month in this match and things are having no solid update about this all so talking too much about this match is not good right now Bayern Munich is doing their best for having the best alternative which will help them for having better results in coming matches as now they are also still have few weeks which will give them better development for their search of new goalkeeper and other players.

In soccer, we can expect too many unpredictable results but right now German giant is surely feeling problem due to their first choice goalkeeper is out of the squad for rest of the season with broken leg, hopefully they will settle this all quickly which will bring good development for them.

If I only consider what happened in this moment, because it seems that PSG are still not completely good. Because maybe there are still key players they can't play, so PSG's performance in Ligue 1 hasn't gotten in good shape at the moment. But yes, I also realize that the matches in the Champions League still have a lot of time for them to prepare even better.

Liverpool is a good club but it is always difficult for them to score goals in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. The last time when they had Mane together with salah I expected them to score good goals but they could not.

the absence of Bayern's main goalkeeper is not a big thing, and even the good news is that in the upcoming January transfer, Bayern are very serious about bringing in a new goalkeeper.
Bayern's performance so far has been very good on the UCL stage, and this is a team that has mentality while PSG are still not up to their mark even though they have many star players.
I don't agree that Bayern are not favorites compared to PSG just because their main goalkeeper is injured.

I would say that Bayern looks like they are not as good on paper but play a bit more consistently and better, whereas to me PSG looks better on paper than Bayern for sure but they are inconsistent, sometimes they play amazingly and sometimes they play horribly, I do not know which one it will be.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be wait and see how PSG will be in the league first, because if they can overcome the whole world cup situation and not care about that and be professionals about it, then they could actually use their talents to beat Bayern easily, because they have amazing players that could turn a game around in a minute as we have seen recently.

After break first match surely having not good impact on the PSG form and performance because they won this match hardly and performance of the players were also not good with hopefully now things could be changed in future because still we have long way to go for the start of Champions League, and they need to be ready for this fight if they want to have positive result in this season Bayern Munich which is still off the field but still doing their works for having suitable replacements for the injured players.

Look like things could be not easy for any team with current performance is surely needed some good change and improved for the rest of the season if they need to be at the top, PSG is now having next match against second seeded Lens which is also not easy team for them with current form.

Bayern are at a disadvantage without Neuer. He's not only a good keeper but he's also a leader. With him at the back of the Bayern defenders they have confidence. No disrespect to the back up goal keepers but for Bayern to win they really need to step. Neuer is the kind of keeper that can decide games for you. And the trio of Neymer, Mbappe and Messi are all in a very good form. I think PSG will win Bayern and qualify cause not only do they have the better attack (on paper) but they also have a very good midfield now. The addition of Fabian Ruiz to the PSG midfield makes them a very good team together with Verratti.

Neuer just like a big wall that was protecting bayern's goal. There's no doubt why people were seeing him as a very good keeper. PSG has trio world class players. That is something that must be stopped by bayern to be able to win the match against PSG.
That will be very hard to do that caused by since bayern can easily prevent messi but there were mbappe and neymer that can also become a threat for the club. I think that bayern can stop messi easily learned from what happened with barcelona in the past.
