I have to say it's clear that we are not going to see Chelsea to be a big team in UCL this year, but at the same time there are not that many favourites that end up winning most years neither. Like just last year, we saw real being not favourites against psg and city and Liverpool and yet they beat them all, or previous year Chelsea themselves came all the way to finals and beat City as well.

These are all proof that we are talking about how underdogs of a size could win. I am not expecting Benfica or Porto or Napoli type of team to win it, but Chelsea is a big club and even though they are not favourites, they would still be able to win it for sure.

Actually, this cannot be confirmed from now on because it is possible that Chelsea will appear more in the Champions League than other teams like Dortmund. Because anything can still happen after the world cup for every team and even teams that are taken for granted can change for the better after the world cup. So it's really not worth it to underestimate now, especially since the second half of the season hasn't started yet and the Champions League round of 16 hasn't even started yet.

But if the opponent is Real Madrid, then Liverpool's hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals will be very difficult. Liverpool have met Real Madrid quite often, but it is always difficult for Liverpool to win games because in the end Real Madrid remains a strong team for Liverpool. But considering that Liverpool met Real Madrid in the round of 16, I think Liverpool should take advantage of this opportunity to win. Liverpool still have a chance to qualify and win the match, so there's nothing wrong with favoring them again.

Apart from Liverpool vs Real Madrid, then I think PSG vs Bayern Munich will also be great to look forward to. I still really hope PSG can beat Bayern Munich, but really I think it will be difficult.

Even though they are in a difficult situation this season, they are still worth considering as a team that will make a big surprise in this Champions League. But we have to admit that their chances are not bigger than last season which looks more promising than what they are showing now. Jurgen Klopp is a good coach, so he should be able to bring Liverpool back to their game like the previous season.
In terms of players, actually they have quality players that are not too different from the previous season. They only lost a few players like Sadio Mane, and got replacements. The problem is, Sadio Mane's replacement has not shown positive developments until now.

Liverpool are still the third biggest favourite team for the Champions League title according to bookmakers. Even though they have been quite inconsistent in the Premier League they have made a big progress in the Champions League. After getting that horrible loss against Napoli we just watched a great example of how a team should stand up and fight with all they have. They just won every single one of the remaining matches in the group and they were nearly getting the lead from Napoli also.

We should take this into account while making predictions about Liverpool's title chance. Obviously they care about the Champions League title more now. It is a little bit surprising while they haven't been the team dominating the Premier League for years. Besides they need to focus on their Premier League matches as of now also not to have a poor season. They have a really difficult job to have a balance between these big tournaments.

Honestly Chelsea opportunity with Primer League tittle winning almost close after remaining many 16 points from Arsenal, I don't think easy catch up with many points left actually after World Cup have busy match and focus at champion league. Graham Potter has best alternative option if want longer existing become Chelsea manager by priority with Champion League competition. I think realistic with Chelsea focus on Champion League than Primer League with many points left but can reach top fourth standing position.

Dortmund opponent at 16 round I don't think heavy for Chelsea based on inconsistency performance at Bundesliga, Chelsea need priority Champion League in this season if won't close season 2022/2023 without any trophies yet.

As long as we are talking about this season Chelsea is not winning any trophy be it the UCL or EPL,their present condition before the world cup break shows this, I don't see any magic that will be done when the world cup is over since the problem in the club has not been treated.

Chelsea is not going to get to the finals in UCL and might get knocked out in the round of 16 if they don't improve in their pattern of football. Chelsea players might be performing pretty good in the world cup is not a guarantee for them to perform excellently in UCL,we still have good clubs that are talented and have good experience in CL as long as these clubs are still in the tournament it will be hard for Chelsea to win the trophy.

Why not, if Potter is able to fix the problems that occur in his squad and find the right strategy formulation. it is not impossible, Chelsea will come back fierce. either in the Domestic League or the Champions League. after all, in fact, Chelsea has potential with its players, even though they are not too favorite in this competition.

I hope Potter sees his players who are competing in the world cup in Qatar, especially for Hakim Ziyech who is playing well with his national team. Potter can give him many opportunities after the league is rolled back, at least Potter has other options to play him as a playmaker or winger. although he is not the answer to Chelsea's needs, Potter can rotate the available players in addition to bringing in newcomers in the upcoming January transfer market. In fact, the opposite is true. Chelsea have no hopes in the Premier League as they have already lost almost as many points as a champion can afford to lose points in a whole season and in the Champions League they are on equal footing. Therefore, it would be logical to try to get into the top 4 in the Premier League, and to perform as well as possible in the Champions League. Such a task looks more realistic than trying your best in the Premier League with so many lost points.

If Real Madrid should reinforce their attack by January,it will really be good for Madrid,because the whole work as been on Karim Benzema all this while,and maybe he needs someone that can give a new shape to that attack again,someone that  can help in scoring as many goals as Benzema can again.
Lewandowski has been doing exactly that at Barca,and maybe what Madrid needs now is an attacker that is as sharp as Lewa.
And for Mane,he has been doing quite a good job at Bayern ever since he made his move,and when the world cup will be over,hope they will still be in their fine form to continue from where they stopped.

There will be lots of big news to come around january. The injury that happened with benzema and mane have been pushing bayern and real madrid to get a backup for both. The fact that if real madrid is looking for the best striker for now.
It seems like that liverpool may find hardest situation caused by it can't take the advantage from the injury of benzema caused by there will  be a new beast striker to join with real madrid.
Some best strikers already listed as potential name to fill the position of benzema. The liverpool must pay a lot of attention to it. Real madrid is starting to rebuild the attacker again.

Chelsea should be underrated completely in the Champions League.  They have no track record, just that once they won the CL against Guardiola doesn't mean they are not experts in the Champions League. Chelsea is not a contender and their is no hope for them. They didn't take Champions League seriously than English Premier league, what happened is that EPL was stronger and hotter for them. Everyone wants to do well in EPL at the same time this season. There is no great hope for Chelsea in the CL.

the departure of several players in the main squad will be bad for Napoli. but if Napoli and the squad are currently thinking about trophies, at least they can get the Serie A trophy if they maintain the performance of the current squad.
thinking selling players who are currently bringing them better is a suicide bomb when they haven't found the right replacement.

Yes, it would be a shame if some of Napoli's main players chose to leave in the January transfer window. If an offer comes from a big club with several attractive bonuses, then it is very likely that Napoli's main player will accept the offer. But maybe the Napoli board or coach will block this by making new contracts or new bonuses for players who have contributed greatly to good performance for Napoli this season.
At least I hope that there won't be many changes in the Napoli squad after this long break, the point is that Napoli's main players now at least can choose to stay to finish this good season with Napoli.

Because even though Napoli has had good results so far, I still doubt Napoli's consistency for the upcoming matches. Moreover, the issue of major players who might leave, at least this factor will make Napoli's performance decrease as well.

You're right for saying we cared about the champions league more than the premier league. At some point winning the premier league was quite easy for the club but the champions league wasn't that easy which is why we focused more energy here to get another one which we successfully did with the most underrated team in history to win the tournament. I mean we won the competition with just academy boys and a new coach. At that time it was really a surprised especially as we played against an informed Manchester city at the finals. Although the match wasn't against Manchester united, still it brought back memories of when we got defeated by United in the 2008 edition that was meant to be the year we won the competition first.

Atleast we have done some payback to their brother club as we patiently wait for our revenge in the future that's if Manchester united can get their shit right and be the top club they were ones was. This season I still can't rule out the chances of we winning the competition again even though we haven't been as brilliant as we should be on the pitch with the talents that we have. You can see how the Chelsea players are giving in 'Man of the match' performance at the world cup but can't do such in Chelsea and it just keep me wondering if we have the right coach for the job.

Spalletti gives a very big impact to the performance from napoli but the problem will be coming very soon. So many clubs putting their eyes into the napoli as those clubs may be interested with some starting line up from napoli. That will force spalletti think to get the best rotation when some main players in the current squad will be gone. Im sure that none underestimated napoli at this moment. Napoli has proven its quality through domestic league. However, napoli may face a problem once it will be losing some important players and that will be forcing napoli to think the best rotation and im sure that will give a very big impact to the performance from the napoli. napoli is very consistent at this moment but i didn't think that if the change of players will not give any impact to the performance from napoli.
Napoli has tried to sell some of its players and it was looking for buyers that can pay lots of money to the club. Napoli has a very good chance to win the current UCL now. It's worthy to watch any match that will be facing by napoli and see how napoli will be dominating the UCL.
