Now is the time to wait for the draw for the round of 16, and the first leg will start in February 2023 according to the schedule on the official website.

The date and time are still subject to change, but it seems I'm more impatient for the World Cup than for the Champions League last 16. The draw for the round of 16 will take place on November 7, 2022, it will be thrilling considering that the seeded team will likely have a tough opponent as there are several strong teams in the runners up.

Well it is not a big surprise to me that Manchester City has also won their last game of the group stage yesterday. In the end they are the strongest team in the world right now for me and they are again the big favorite to win the Champions League title this year, together with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and maybe Real Madrid. The thing is though is that it is not enough to be the best team and to show the best performance. You also need to be efficient with your chances and of course you also need a little bit of luck on your side in order to really win the champions League title. ManCity also was the best team last year but they were very unlucky when they were eliminated by Real Madrid.

I have no doubts about the ability of Manchester City this season because they were so strong in the group stage and were able to advance to the next round as group winners. But to say that Manchester City will be able to win the UCL trophy this season can certainly be achieved if they are able to beat the teams that are their opponents in the next round. Bayern Munich is also a strong candidate for the title this season because since Sadio Mane arrival, Bayern Munich game has become more aggressive. real madrid will probably need to work harder to get back to being champions this season.

I must say that in the 1/16 finals there are actually no "weak" teams.
Yes, there are Rangers teams with a score of minus 20 in goals scored, but all the teams that made it to the 1/16 are either champions of their leagues or silver medalists.
Benfica generally bypassed PSG in the group, although the possibilities of the latter are much higher.
Tottenham also went through a strong group and only in the last match left the group.
So whoever is Milan's opponent, it will be an extremely strong team, but there are no invincible teams, so let's wish Milan good luck.

In this match I thought Real Madrid would win, but the goal difference would not be more than 1 or 2. Because their main striker Benzema was not in the squad. But even then Real Madrid's performance surprised me. They secured an impressive 5-1 win. Real Madrid's players dominated the entire match. One thing you might think about Benfica is that they want to avoid a tough opponent in the last 16. Becoming the top in group would allow them to drawn weaker opponents compared to second place, so here they were really trying hard on a successful mission. This means that each group leader will meet the second team in another group for the round of 16 if I understand the rules correctly.

So because of this, PSG who are the second team in group H will very likely get a strong opponent in the last 16 so it will cost them a lot. Napoli, Porto, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid are the teams that are likely to meet PSG in the last 16, and I don't think this will make it easy for PSG to qualify for the next round.
