Benzema became one of the legendary players to be remembered with Real Madrid. He proved this with the Ballon D'or he bought. Last year, he became a football player who left his mark on world football. He totally deserved the award. Despite the maturity of his age, he left behind an incredible season. Not everyone can experience a season like this at this age. I expect him to make his mark in the champions league this year as well.

He is always been a legendary player, after he manages to bring Real Madrid back to the brink of death, that was one tremendous change he brought to the fans of Football especially Real Madrid, Karim Benzema is an inspiration to all and I really think that they have a hard time in group F and at least they manage to push through UEFA championship,

From the previous few seasons also in terms of players they did not always fail but the problem was in terms of performance.
The momentum is now very big, but as long as they play like before when they faced Madrid too relaxed because they were ahead at that time it had to be changed for this season.
Last season when against Madrid they always excelled in terms of matches but their concentration was dissipated when time was about to end and things like this must be anticipated because it is not impossible for the same thing to happen again.

The lack of focus seems to be the problem for them instead of giving their 100% in the match they tend to be lacking focus when they know that they are in the lead, and that has cost them the Liverpool match, even though they have a 100% Erling Halland they still manage to lose, that is sure 1 humiliating match-up,

The presence of Erling Haaland has added to the confidence of the Manchester City squad, they have a pure striker who is hungry for goals. It's true they must take advantage of this momentum which is their best momentum to win the Champions League trophy. But this is the Champions League which has a very tight competition, especially if they meet again with real Madrid, it will be their biggest threat. Because last season it was also Real Madrid who failed them in the fight for the title. They even had to be hit by a deadly comeback from the El Real squad.

This Season we still haven't seen Man City VS Real Madrid and it could be a good opportunity how good really is Erling Halland, and if he can take on Karim Benzema, that would be a promising match that I want to see, especially now that Manchester City have Erling Halland, Although they have a humiliating failure against Liverpool on their last game, it could be a mistake on their part,

I see people are talking about Manchester City for the Champions League title this season mostly. I don't see anyone even mentioning PSG but I still understand that. Because PSG have seemed interesting on the recent weeks of the tournament. I mean that they couldn't beat even Benfica in both matches. I wouldn't like to underestimate Benfica but they are not as strong as PSG in the end. I would have expected to see PSG winning in their home match at least.

This started to make me doubt their performance after the group stage. The trio must focus on their game completely otherwise they might have another disappointment by being eliminated earlier than they expected just as it happened last season. For now, Manchester City seem the closest team to the title considering the performances.

With the presence of Erling Haaland in the team I will be expecting Manchester City to win the champions league this season or the next season. At this point they have everything they need to win the trophy, they have very talented and experienced players, the have one of the best coaches, a lethal striker who can score many goals and they possess good team work so the team is good enough to win the trophy.
I agree Man City this year will be in the UCL final. Apart from being good at finding space, Haaland is supported by a manager who is a genius in giving instructions and colleagues who are good at supplying the ball, and it's really useless if the striker is good at finding space but his teammates are not good at giving the ball and vice versa it will be useless if his teammate smart to give the ball but the striker can't find space so they complement each other so they don't get injured too for Haaland and keep consistent.

this is the opportunity for manchester city to take advantage of their moment with Erling Haaland able to establish himself to win the champions league this season after failing last season because of real madrid, this is a good time to show the quality of Manchester City's game and at least they beat Madrid, Munich and PSG to be able to increase confidence in winning the champions league this season

I think Manchester City will go far in this season champions, and the possibility of winning it is not impossible, they have a great squad and have been playing together for long, now they Erling Haaland who is a deadly finisher,he has been scoring goals for fun in the hardest league in the world and the amazing thing about it is that is his debut session and he is also scoring in the champions League,he just give Manchester city that extra edge, yea I agree they are strong opposition in the champions League, teams like Madrid who are always the favourite in this competition.
You said great. Manchester City is playing really well. I enjoy watching them play. But I thought beating Manchester City was not that easy. But Liverpool played well against them. If Manchester City meet Liverpool or Real Madrid in the semi-finals, it is doubtful whether City will go to the final or not.

Look let's be so sincere, this season Pep has adjusted his formation to focus more Haaland. Take the game against Copenhagen as an example, the team was totally off. Look again at there game against Liverpool in EPL, immediately Haaland was pocketed by the Liverpool defence the entire Man City team were off in that match.
No need, I watched the match from the start and I think Haaland can still get away from close guard and he can get some shots and headers mostly saved by Allison. So I guess we don't need to argue about something that we both really see right. Liverpool's defense and goalkeeper were good in that match, but they were lucky because Manchester City were caught off guard in defense which allowed them to concede on the counter-attack.

It's not so much about how many goals he's scored as it is about how the team is playing. Right now, the team is built around Halaand, he gets all of the first passes in the third half of the field, he's the target man, and every other player plays for him. Everything is going well right now, but what happens when he gets injured or loses form? He shot blank in the previous game, and the team lost.

To win the Champions League, you need all player's contributions
I don't think you're wrong, but that's how strategy should be. Strikers play an important role in scoring goals, and every midfielder and winger will probably send a pass to the striker for a goal. So many teams do it but really I don't argue for Manchester City while I'm a Real Madrid fan.  Cheesy

If it came down to player quality, PSG would have won it in the last few years because they had better players than other teams. The previous years' winners have taught us that the trophy is won through teamwork, not how many quality players you have on your team. Manchester City, without a doubt, has champions league experience, but they must understand that winning the champions league is not a one-man show; they are relying heavily on Halaand this season, which is not a good idea. Tbh.
I don't seem to agree if you think Manchester City are very dependent on Haaland. It's true Haaland has scored a lot of goals for Manchester City, but I think that's his job as a striker. Other players can also score goals such as Foden, Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez or De Bruyne, but Haaland is a target man in the Manchester City squad especially in attack.

For this season, my hero remains at Real Madrid regardless of which team is considered a good candidate to win. Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich or any team are good but about the title I want Real Madrid to defend it.

Although man City have truly established a fantastic team this season but with Pep at there dugout i don't fancy them winning because he usually bottles it when it matters most. He had an excellent squad during his stint at Bayern Munich, he had the likes of Lewa, Robben and Ribery who were on there prime and he still bottled it. I hope he proves me wrong this time and break the jinx

Bayern Munich and Barcelona are two  differen team with different work load. When Lewandowski was in Bayern Munich I don't think the pressure he was facing there can be compared to what is in Barcelona.  Bayern Munich used to be the strongest team in the Bundesliga league,  and with no tough competitors.  If Lewandowski is not doing more in Barcelona I won't blame him because Barcelona is competing with more tough teams than Bayern Munich.

I beg to differ though, Bayern Munich has tough competitors, the readiness of other teams and how they respond to every match against Bayern is subjective to people, just the way people prefer to watch Premier League and Champions League than any other leagues and of course, players also influence the viewers and fans base, just imagine the number of players who became PSG fans because of Messi and Ronaldo when he moves back to Manchester United from Juventus.
The problem with most of the clubs is that they don't even know the potential of these players until they sell them, that's when players switch into beasts that they haven't displayed in their previous clubs, take a look at Lewandoski's moves from Bayern Munich to Barcelona, Haaland from Dortmund to Manchester City.

I do not doubt the ability of Erling Haaland. Currently, he is one of the best strikers in the world but it would be wrong to insinuate that his presence is enough to make Manchester City win the UCL. We saw his frustration against Liverpool when Virgil van Dijk ensured that he had few goalscoring chances. Over-relying on a single player can be disastrous. We saw how Liverpool relied on Mo Salah in the 2018 Champions League finals against Real Madrid. Liverpool lost the match because he was substituted because of a dislocated shoulder he sustained in the challenge with Sergio Ramos. It would be more acceptable to say that with teamwork, City would be able to achieve their dream of winning the Champions league.

If manchester city lucky enough to win EPL. There are so many big clubs are still competing in UCL just like real madrid, chelsea, bayern and many more. Manchester city have very bad result against those team. It's better for city to proves it.
I do believe real madrid or chelsea will be winning UCL again. I will never try to pick city. This team is always fail in UCL even when it has a good performance. It's still not comparable with another world class team like munich and real madrid in UCL.
Madrid was the most favourite team to become champion again.
I totally agree that Real Madrid still remains the favorite to win the UCL this season. They proved they still have the capacity with their convincing win against Barcelona. They have a team that is potent in all ramifications. The attacking powerhouse is led by the best player in the world Karim Benzema and the bulk of reliable young prolific strikers.

All the teams you mentioned have the capacity to win the trophy but I am doubting the ability of Chelsea. Graham Potter is really doing a good job in the club but the team is going through a transformation process which might make it difficult to compete with an already established teams.

For some players everything is possible and indeed only a handful of people can do this and Benzema is one of them now.
Age is just a number really happened but most likely this only happened once for him. Even though this season there are still the same opportunities but seeing the condition of some of the current young players who are quite good I seem a little doubtful that Benzema can do this again.

It seems that Benzema will perform well this season as well. Among the young players, the performance of none other than Haaland seems satisfactory. If Benzema can continue his performance as consistently as last season and if Real Madrid is able to win the La Liga and Champions League titles again, Benzema may be able to win the Ballon d'Or again. We are not getting satisfactory performances from players like Lelandowski and Messi.
It's still not certain.
Now 10 weeks have passed and Benzema still hasn't shown his prime until now.
There are several reasons, such as the injury factor for a while and maybe the clubs now will not make Benzema free in the defense area so this is another factor.

He has to get out of his zone now and try to keep playing attractive performances like before so that he can make free movement later in the Liga that Madrid is running.

Of course at this time he must realize that if his current form is still the same then the Ballon d'Or title will only be once in his name although indeed I am still proud of this player.

It must be admitted that Erling Haaland is indeed a very ambitious player to continue to be the top scorer and until now it can be proven and of course this will always motivate him and of course the club.
it will continue to be proven in the next match for him and the Manchester City club, even though until now if you look at the club's productivity it is still held by Napoli and Bayern.
Of course Manchester City also performed well, although they couldn't take all the matches with a full victory that had been passed. but it's not impossible what you say, can't be realized to be a champion because the opportunity is very wide open and will be able to be achieved well.

Will it continue to rely on Haaland alone? You have to evaluate when the game against Liverpool Haaland movement is closed. This is where every club in the Champions League begins to learn how to break Haaland stretch by installing a back-back that is capable of pressing. Luckily Liverpool has a reliable defender like Van Dijk because he penetrated Haaland so tightly. At least if Liverpool were without Van Dijk's escort, who has a balanced posture with Haaland, maybe Man City could win. Van Dijk is a defender who has enough ability to put pressure on Haaland.

It is clear that it is impossible to change the past and we must look forward. But I think you will agree that Barcelona is close to being titleless this season and it will be a very unusual situation for Lewandowski as he is used to getting at least the German championship every season + scoring a lot of Champions League goals until the late stages tournament. Given Lewandowski's age, I don't think he won't regret that one of the last years of his great career went like this.
Lewandowski's decision to prefer to leave Bayern Munich must have been thought out carefully and thoughtfully. So I didn't think that he would regret his decision, moreover there was no point in regretting it because he couldn't change his decision. Yes maybe there will be something missing for him, but it doesn't matter in my opinion because he also feels the competition is more challenging than the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona are two  differen team with different work load.
