I thought Barcelona performed pretty well. It's a pity that their opportunity failed to be taken advantage of to make a goal. In addition, I see, if Lewandowski has at least more than two opportunities that have failed to be seized. It seems that the Bayern Munich defenders have memorized how to stop Lewandowski. Barca and Bayern Munich's statistics are quite evenly matched. They are no less crushing, Barcelona is actually pretty good. Xavi this time failed to break bayern Munich winning record. Next I think xavi should be able to win in the second match at Camp Nou.

surprising indeed to see Tottenham lose to the sporting. but Tottenham didn't play well enough. their position is under pressure. it keeps the game from progressing.
but if you look at the game stats, the two are quite balanced. Tottenham also had 12 shots, meaning they didn't just last the longest. it's just that they only take advantage of opportunities when Sporting attacks.
2 goals at the end of the second half, showed Tottenham lost focus at the end of the match. maybe right as they aim for a draw. but they lost by 2 goals at the end of the match.

Actually, Barcelona's game in this match was quite dominant, especially in the first half, but unfortunately their game was not very well organized.  Many of the opportunities they get are just wasted.  But in the second half El Barca's game was so chaotic, that Bayern immediately punished them.  I see there are some technical things that Xavi needs to improve immediately, up front, Raphinha is not very effective, he is too hasty in opening shots, so Lewandowski's role is not very visible.  Then the midfield also didn't look very creative and the most chaotic in defence, Christensen and Araujo were really very fragile in the second half, making it very easy for the Munich attack to penetrate.  I believe this defeat is an important note for Xavi to immediately fix his squad.

I thought that it will be drawn, but in this match, both actually paid amazingly, but Bayern is more than it. Barcelona actually has so many chances to score the goals, there were so many shots. But, their attacking liners especially Lewandowski couldn't score any goal.
Well, the decision will be in the next match whether Barcelona or Inter will win the match. Both are great clubs and will not be easy to beat each other. But here, Barcelona may have though confidence moreover after being defeated by Bayern in this match.

Porto has done in this competition because 2 consecutive lose from Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid makes their position currently in the bottom of group standings and actually i didn't expect they will lose with big scores 4-0 yesterday because in my opinion Porto is the favourite and on the paper they should be can win the match or at least draw but apparently Club Brugge can playing better and now Club Brugge has change became one of the potential team who possibly went to knockout stage besides Atletico Madrid

Conte played all his good players, but still couldn't get the win. The final 10 minutes of the game was tense, Sporting were very persistent and confident in their attack so much that even after heir first goal in the 90th minute, they didn't give Tottenham a chance to pull off a late equalizer to still claim a point from this game, but they went for the second goal and got it just 2 minutes after their first. They haven't won an English team in a while, so this victory means a lot to them.

I knew that the way Ajax were retreating and started defending in the final minutes of the game was going to cost them a goal, and it did. The goal would not have come had they continued to attack and not give the Liverpool side any opportunity to get pull themselves together. That was a very important goal that Matip scored for the team and coach, but I still don't see this Liverpool side as a team that will win the UCL this season, they are still unconvincing.

Smart game from Bayern, they got a  first goal, didn't relax there but went ahead to get another, and then fell back to defense. Barcelona didn't have luck on their side, they missed many good opportunities (the likes of Lewandoski and Pedri) to even get one goal in the game. They started the first half well, and to say they couldn't even get a goal in this game is very unbelievable also due to their current form. Barcelona still have a good chance to qualify from their group.

To be honest, I didn't expect Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Porto to lose their games against teams that aren't that competitive.
Bayern vs. Barcelona was a pretty interesting game. Xavi needs more time to build a team that can be capable of winning the Champions League. The Bavarian team was solid as usual, even without Lewandowski. Bayern has a more versatile attack now.
Today, I expect the favorites like Real, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus and PSG to win their games against weaker opponents.

It was a really interesting day in the Champions League. Barcelona were the better side especially in the first half but the second half was way different. Bayern Munich made the score 2-0 in only four minutes. I still don't understand how Barcelona couldn't score even one goal despite having so many goal opportunities. Lewandowski was so ineffective this time and I wonder if it was related to playing against his old team. I had big hopes about Barcelona after making a progress under Xavi's management. Let's see if they will have their revenge in Camp Nou.

It's quite surprising to see Barcelona lose to Bayern Munich 0-2 without a reply. They did play as guests, but Barcelona is in good form, so I think Barcelona can at least steal a point from Bayern Munich but I turned out to be wrong (well in football there are always surprises). In this match Barcelona had some good chances, it's just that they didn't have a good finishing touch, besides that Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer played quite impressively and he several times thwarted Barcelona's good chances.

I was pissed with the way Tottenham played. Tottenham played a very boring football, they didn't attack at any time only rooting for a draw. I think they got what they deserved. You can't just sit back the whole game and hope for counter-attack. Sporting really played well, so they thoroughly deserve the goals in the end. Tottenham have got to have a good look at themselves and do better.

It's not easy for spurs to wake up from their bad performance. I don't even think if losing in the match will become a solution for the club to wake up and give its best performance. I never seen something like this. A win will be motivating all of its players. I think that would better if spurs will be winning in the next battle. It will be boosting all of mentality from the totenham's player. Losing even in more match will be only destroying their mental. Spurs has not been showing a good performance. I would not expect a lot from spurs about that.

The victory that Liverpool just won over Ajax Amsterdam cannot be said to be a big win because the match ended with a score of 2-1, rather Liverpool just got a narrow victory because there was only one goal difference.
This victory can excite Liverpool players to achieve a perfect result in the next game, a turning point that Liverpool have experienced has increased after getting disappointing results in the previous two matches. Liverpool players must always maintain their performance in the upcoming matches in order to compete in the UCL and Premier League.
