Among these two, who do you think would be the highest goal scorer of champions league or are you routing for other fine players like Lewandowski and Benzema?

Benzema is definitely one of the candidates because Madrid has the potential to be champions but honestly I would like to see the young players take their place there of course Mbappe and Haaland I hope, I have to ignore Lewandowski because I think they still have a weakness on the defensive side so I predict Barcelona will not qualify.

Champions league highest goal scorer: Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe on the highlight

It is no longer news but it is becoming reality that Haaland and Mbappe are the two young players who are set to take the stage after Ronaldo and Messi bows out. It is not that they are the finest available footballers presently, but the current football we witness rewards faster those who are able to score alot of goals.
Somewhat agree with you in terms of goal scoring ability,  but when it comes to in terms of masterclass they're no way to be compared with Christiano Ronaldo and his counterpart Argentina Lionel Messi. The dou to me are players from another planet. But base on the fact that Kylian Mbape and Erling Harland is currently on the leaderboard of top performing players as Messi and Ronaldo are on the line of retiring in years to come.

Among these two, who do you think would be the highest goal scorer of champions league or are you routing for other fine players like Lewandowski and Benzema?
I will Choose Erling Harland over the two to be highest goal scorer in this season's Champions League competition because his desperate goal scoring ability recently is higher than of Kylian Mbape and that of Benzema right now.

It is not that they are the finest available footballers presently, but the current football we witness rewards faster those who are able to score alot of goals.

Erling Haaland has proven his ability to score alot of goals, especially in Dortmund where he did that excellently and most matches the club lost was when he was absent. People were skeptical that he will not be able to adapt to English Premier league type football, but it didn't take long for him to prove them wrong. In the citizens first outing of this season's champions league he got a brace.

Kylian Mbappe in the other hand has been a bright star who has been spotted to be the future of Real Madrid fc, but the world of football was shocked as he signed an eleventh hour record breaking deal with PSG giving him alot of money, freedom and power. I would say he was intoxicated by the power as he recently started having cracks with his former leader and team mate. Among the misunderstanding, he go a brace also in PSG first champions league outing.

Among these two, who do you think would be the highest goal scorer of champions league or are you routing for other fine players like Lewandowski and Benzema?

There are two games which will start earlier:

Ajax - Rangers
Frankfurt - Sporting

Ajax are obviously favoured for winning this game. Rangers are not a weak team but their chance is not very high in this away game. Ajax are still playing their home games too effectively. I wouldn't expect them to score less than 2 goals here. Rangers might answer by one goal only. I really admire Ajax's staying this strong after changing many of their players.  Smiley

Frankfurt are favourite against Sporting and they can surely win this. Comparing the performances in their leagues so far, I can't say that they are too different in general. But Frankfurt's performance in the recent weeks has been more impressive. They scored 8 goals in their last two games in the end. This would be a big motivation to win this one. Sporting seem weaker than last season for now. Their job is difficult in Germany. Frankfurt might win by a 2-1 score maybe.

Barcelona faced easy opponent today that playing at home they will fight against Viktoria Pizen and without doubt this is easy match for Barcelona so they will beat Viktoria Pizen probably with 3 goals margin and over 2.5 goals as bet option seems quite safe to pick although have low odds @1.26 on the other hand Inter vs Bayern this match is difficult to predict because both of teams had good experience on champion league but i will used their latest statistics as the reference that Bayern or Inter very productive at their local leagues and always scoring goals for each matches so both teams to score probably suitable for this match

Barcelona will face Viktoria Plzen who is the weakest team in Group C, meaning Barcelona must not waste the opportunity to get 3 points. Because with
the quality of players that Barcelona have, Barcelona should be able to beat Viktoria Plzen easily, and the possibility of Barcelona will win by a large
enough goal difference. This is an opportunity for Lewandowski to score a lot of goals, so that Lewandowski can become the top scorer in
the Champions League. So for me the Barcelona vs Viktoria Plzen match is very easy to predict.

What's more interesting is the Inter vs Bayern match, but if we look at Inter's poor track record when playing in the Champions League. Of course
I prefer Bayern to win, but because Inter are playing at home, Inter should be able to surprise many people. Moreover, Bayern are also having problems
on the front lines, since Lewandowski left, Bayern's goal productivity has decreased. This can be used by Inter to beat Bayern, but even though Baryern
have problems with their attack. But Bayern have a very strong mentality, therefore I still believe Bayern are still too strong to be beaten by Inter.

For Inter - Bayern Munich, I think that Bayern Munich are quite the favourite unlike the doubts. I just can't decide upon they would win by one or two-goal difference. I still don't see a completely ready Inter yet. They played two big matches in the Serie A so far against Lazio and Milan. They lost both of them. The Milan loss is very fresh now so it might affect them mentally too. Maybe Bayern Munich haven't signed a striker after sending Lewandowski but they are still very productive as for scoring. They can be preferred for betting @1.78.

Napoli - Liverpool is a tough one. Liverpool can be much more experienced here but Napoli have a dominance against them in home matches in this tournament. They have done well in the Serie A now unlike Liverpool's performance in the EPL also. However I won't bet on a team for this match. I'd prefer BTTS @1.61.

Betting against Liverpool is difficult, they can draw a few matches and then just crush their opponent, but Liverpool are far from their optimal condition, so Napoli can surprise them today. Inter played well with weak teams, but lost points with more or less strong ones, Bayern also lost points in recent matches, but their game is more confident, there was a lost points with the complete dominance of Bayern.

I was shocked to hear the news. indeed the results shown by Chelsea in the EPL are also not so good. but Tuchel's dismissal seemed too hasty.
maybe the club management does not want to linger too long with bad results. but what goes wrong when the management itself doesn't talk much when the transfer window opens?
we can see Chelsea's back line is very bad. and looking for players for the next transfer window as well as managers will certainly make Chelsea a lot of losses at the beginning of this season.
there are already several names of coaches that have become rumors for Chelsea. one of them you mentioned.

I also was shocked at the news of the sack of Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel. Admittedly, Chelsea’s has had a few recent bad spells in the premier league but the dismissal of the coach was indeed hasty. The search to find a new coach is now on; perhaps, a new coach has already been decided on and would soon be publicly announced. Hopefully, the new coach would do what is necessary in order to move the club forward.

I think the Chelsea management was too hasty in taking action. The defeat against Dinamo Zagreb was the trigger to dismiss Tuchel. Even though the season has just started, many of their new players have not looked so compact, Chelsea management should have given Tuchel time until the middle of the season.

PSG had a really solid game against Juventus and won by 2-1.

The final score shouldn't mislead anyone. Because PSG were mostly in control of the game. The goal they conceded was a result of Donnarumma's individual mistake. But he made up for his mistake later by a really important save. By the way it seems like Neymar and Mbappe have started to get along with each other. Because in the first goal, Neymar made a really classy assist to him and Mbappe went to him right after scoring the goal to celebrate it together. This is a good sign for the team because they will need this cooperation throughout the season. This is the only way they can win the Champions League title this season.

After watching this match I understand why PSG don't want to let Mbappe go and offer a higher salary as a young player he is also a promising investment
Okay maybe people will say PSG is great at home so let's wait for the 2nd leg I want to see a great combination of 3 players there.

But statistically, Bayern Munich seems to be more superior in my opinion compared to Inter Milan, which is still lacking in performance so far, the same thing in the domestic league will be a little different but UCL and Inter playing at home make them a big motivation to win tonight .
But my bet on Bayern Munich @1.78 I think this could be Bayern's win even though away and other options are draws.

Napoli vs Liverpool is also no less great, basically I choose an English club that has a pretty good performance compared to Napoli.

Today will be no less interesting matches than yesterday, even more. First of all I am interested in how the new Napoli striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will perform in the game against not yet strong Liverpool.
Starting the 2022-2023 season, Liverpool were only able to win 2 times in the Premier League from 6 matches. It's certainly an unusual record for Liverpool who finished runners-up in the EPL and UCL last season but it's a real statistic and we have to admit it without giving an excuse that we've had a lot of injuries.

Napoli are tough opponents, but Liverpool are a ruthless team. Liverpool will make Napoli players make mistakes. That's when Liverpool will score goals. Fabio Cannavaro reminded the Napoli players the same thing.

The performance of Liverpool in this season is too unstable at the moment and they will need to play against Napoli away from their home stadium for their first Uefa Champions League game this season, I think it is a terrible timing for Liverpool to be playing against Napoli today and I guess Liverpool will suffer a loss at the final whistle.
Liverpool could very well lose this game, and like you said it has been a rough patch for them at the beginning of this season, and not just because of only that, Liverpool do not always find it easy when they play Napoli, especially away from home, i don't think Liverpool have beaten the Italian club in their own turf in the CL, if i remember correctly, the only victory Liverpool has had over them was at Anfield, and that will be a real worry for Klopp and his men, Liverpool are not in a very difficult group, but they'd not want to complicate things for themselves by starting on the wrong foot.

Tuchel has been just sacked.

Not a big deal for Premier League clubs, they can easily pay the cost of 20-30 million for a new coach.
Thomas Tuchel becomes the eighth manager in ten years to be sacked by Chelsea. Chelsea will fire a coach, the next one will come along then win the trophy with the bad players left by the old ones, then recruit new players and also get fired for his poor performance… Rinse and Repeat, Chelsea FC.

On the one hand, a fairly quick decision for the initial stage of the season, where the results are quite fixable for both the Premier League and the Champions League, on the other hand, the team needs a shake-up. I would take this as a positive signal for the Chelsea fans - the club's management clearly has big ambitions and will fight for Chelsea to achieve great results.
That doesn't seem to be a positive signal for fans. losing in a very important match was not a good thing that will make fans became happy with it. tuchel was thinking very hard to get the best composition for its club but i think that the club was not ready enough. We will see how tuchel will be improving the performance from chelsea. It's a shame that chelsea was loosing against dinamo. Aubameyang has been starting his debut with lose against dinamo.

About today's matches, my picks are Ajax - Tottenham wins and both teams to score for the Napoli - Liverpool match.

The total odd is 3.62 which is pretty good for a multi. Rangers are not a team to be underestimated of course but Ajax are in a way better condition than them now. Even though they have made many changes in their squad this season they are standing still against their opponents. They are one of the successful Champions League teams considering the recent years. Rangers don't have much chance get some points in Amsterdam.

Tottenham have started the season pretty well. They are one of the strong Premier League teams with their game. Marseille are also doing good but they haven't faced any real challenge yet. Their opponents in the Ligue 1 have already been easy for them. This is their first ever meet with Tottenham in their history. Tottenham wouldn't miss the opportunity to beat them in England.

Lastly it is really hard to pick a side for Napoli - Liverpool. Things haven't gone well for Klopp and his players so far. Of course they are a way more experienced team than Napoli in the Champions League. However I still remember their previous two matches in this stadium which ended by victories for Napoli. Taking Napoli's good start to this season I thought that it would be safer to trust both sides to score at least one goal.

The defeat to Dinamo Zagreb seemed to make the management do that. Indeed, in the opening of the EPL Chelsea were not very good, they did not do much to add players in preparation for facing other stronger clubs. Actually, Tuchel's statistics are also not bad, he has only lost 16 times in 100 games. It wasn't until 2 years that he had given away those 3 trophies was good enough in my opinion. Perhaps this is the second EPL casualty after Parker in the Bournemouth. Will Chelsea choose Mauricio Pochettino to replace him?

Liverpool may surely suffer a defeat at the end of the game. Their gameplay at the moment is a bit unsteady and not like the last two seasons. The opponent on the other hand is a tough nut to crack. Napoli is a formidable team and while playing at its home ground is an added boost, they’ve got a well put together team that would give any top rated team a tough time. The odds are against Liverpool in this game but in the game of football, there are surprises and Liverpool could very well pull a fast one.
