Quite happy to see how Barcelona maximized their ability to win big, and also Lewandowski who managed to make a hat-trick. But I have a little disappointment because Barcelona should have won with clean sheets, considering the opponent is not a team that can be said to be able to put up a strong fight. But Barcelona can still concede which of course will be a bit disappointing and must be overcome immediately, even though they won big but because they played at home against a weak team, winning clean sheets really had to be obtained by a big team like Barcelona.
Pretty weak game by Liverpool. Maybe the glorious Klopp era is coming to an end. Porto-Atletico was quite dramatic with three goals scored in the additional time.

Liverpool have followed suit in taking their own hit in today's game after Chelsea's yesterday away match defeat and they even had worst defeat than Chelsea, This is just the beginning of the UEFA Champions League group stage match and there's no need to be panicking.
There's a need to panic actually, they have lost an important three points in such a competition that usually has unpredictable results. I wonder if their management will want to take a rash decision like the way Chelsea did. I have always said that Liverpool has not been Liverpool this season even after they were able to score nine goals against a team this season in the EPL. Since Mane left, they have simply just lost a form of momentum they had, I don't think they will recover just yet even if they try, this champions league is not for them.
The English teams with a potential to go far in this competition are Manchester city surely, Tottenham and most likely Chelsea but not Liverpool.

Lewandowski made history as the first player to score a hat-trick in UCL with 3 different teams. 34 years old but tireless. an incredible player. There was also the surprise of the night. Napoli beat Liverpool 4-1. Actually, Napoli can beat them, of course, but I didn't think they would score that many goals.
The presence of lewandowski has instantly turn Barcelona to one of the favourite to lift the trophy this season,he is so world class, his finishing is precise, I must admit xavi Hernandez has be giving a good team to build something and he deserves it because he did something great when he replaced Koeman and at that team Barcelona are in shambles and have been eliminated from the champions League and about not qualifying for Europe and he came and prove that with the right squad like this he can do something great.

The two teams really need to step up their games because loosing another game could deny them the opportunity to qualify for the next round of the game.
I think, the two teams really performed well through out the last season that made their fans praised them for the good results they achieved from the tournament, that made many people to believed that they will definitely win this season title. I believe, Liverpool will definitely get it right if their president can sack their coach and try another coach like the way Chelsea president sacked their coach to bring in a new talented coach that can continue the work to ensure this season go well with them. Chelsea will not loose their next match because their players will not allow the coach issues to distract them not to perform well than to do everything within their power to start improving until they win the title.

yes so far only manchester city is more promising, but i hope jurgen klopp can improve the performance of the red and not have the same fate as thomas tuchel.
For a score like this for Liverpool it's obviously a massacre and a humiliating defeat.
Hopefully in the second match against Ajax they won't be like this anymore because it's clear that if they concede a goal easily like in this match it's clear they will be the subject of good ridicule.

Liverpool have been struggling, not just them losing to the Naples but were having a hard time to pick form also in the premier league by losing games. They even draw their last game, Klopp needs new signings and I like the kind of pattern Napoli boss use in the game. He started with his key players and they punish Liverpool in the early minutes of the game and in the second half, before Liverpool thought of doing a come back, it was late and the Naples switch to playing a defensive game.

What a day for Napoli! They literally destroyed Liverpool by 4-1. I would never expect this to happen honestly and most people must have thought the same. Maybe Liverpool weren't in a good shape but I was still hopeful about them to play differently here. But there was no change in their effort and Napoli punished them really hard. Klopp might also be under threat if he continues to get this kind of results. After seeing Tuchel's departure I think everything can happen now.

Napoli have a good winning record against the Reds at the Diego Armando Marandona stadium. They thrashed their visitors 4-1, it was quite embarrassing to see one of the toughest club in the premier league concede much goals in their first game. Luciano Spalleti was really impressed with his team performance and one must agree that the Naples have sets of quality players. Jurgen Klopp don't have much to say after the game, rather he just concluded that the club needs to reinvent their players. By the way Tottenham were too bad today. Tottenham winning Marseille 2 nil, and the two goals scored were from Richardlison. It's his first debut in the champions league and really happy to give Spurs 3 points in the first game. Anthonio Conte proud of him as they would face another tough team next in their group.

I think the sacking of Thomas Tuchel was not determined by their loss to Dinamo Zagreb or their recent poor run in the Premiership. It has been in the plans of the club for some time. It was not Todd Boehly that employed Tuchel and as a new owner, he is doing a tool restructuring of the team. He had already removed Chelsea's CEO, Guy Laurence, sporting director Marina Granovskaia and technical and performance advisor Petr Cech. He wants to establish his power and authority. The main reason for his sack would be unveiled in a few weeks or months. Everybody is insinuating that the club has made a terrible mistake by asking Tuchel. But it might turn out to be a good revival for an expensive team that lacks the hunger and drives to win. It is also a wake-up call to all the big players in the team that, nobody is indispensable.

Liverpool's case is somehow different because their performance is not as bad as Chelsea's. But these teams still has the opportunity to enhance their play and clinch the tickets for the next stage in the competition. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are favorites to qualify in these various groups. But Chelsea just lost one of their best chances of clinching three points. 
It saddened my heart that the Chelsea coach was sacked all because he loses yesterday's match. Chelsea's owner took a very aggressive decision against Tuchel

The two teams from the Premier League that completely destroyed my multi bet were Chelsea who ultimately sacked Tuchel, next is Liverpool and whether Liverpool will sack Klopp because Liverpool's defeat was very big with 4-1. Didn't expect Liverpool to lose or be humiliated by a temporary score of 4-1 until 69 minutes. I think Liverpool lost their charismatic in the beginning of this season, be it in the EPL or in the UCL. we can see kloop anger on the side of the field he seems to want to say something about liverpool game in this match. Well I feel Liverpool without Sadio Mane is like coffee without sugar. mohamed Salah has lost his genius in finishing, I see some chances wasted.

I think the problem isn't in Liverpool attackers, but it is in Liverpool defenders. I know if Salah can't play with his best anymore, he failed to convert many chances to be goals. But Van Dijk performance and other Liverpool defenders are worse than Salah.
