There is every possibilities that Chelsea and Liverpool could turn around and make good qualifications from the group stage. I really believe Liverpool could do that more than Chelsea because Liverpool didn't sack their coach and their is no panic in the club, they could gradually find their way in.
But for Chelsea, Todd has created unnecessary panic in the club and it wouldn't be easy for a new manager to understand the team and begin to get results. He will definitely need some times to study and experiment, which could lead to more woes for the club.
But the two teams poor outing at the start of the Champions League shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because both teams are already finding a difficult time in the English Premier league. We shouldn't expect any magic, besides any club in the Champions League is a champion.


I can agree with you that Tuchel doesn't deserve the sack, atleast not at this time, because it is too early compared to his success in the club. The club though have changed administration seems to have forgotten too fast how Tuchel changed the team.
But what I will not agree with you is that Tuchel needed time to understand the NEW team. Was there really a new team? Nò. All the new players that joined the club were what Tuchel requested for. So, Chelsea bought him players of his  choice and doesn't need a whole season to understand his new defence line.

In all I really thought that England will have an excellent champions league outing this year, but Liverpool and Chelsea are making me think otherwise after this first match.

This year's football leagues are bringing a whole lot of surprising results for big clubs, more especially England's big clubs. Liverpool lost to Napoli is the result am yet to understand how it happened. This is a shameful defeat to every Liverpool fan. I don't think they will start calling for the resignation of the coach. It's too early for that.

It saddened my heart that the Chelsea coach was sacked all because he loses yesterday's match. Chelsea's owner took a very aggressive decision against Tuchel

Didn't know that Richarlison is good with his head as he is with his legs, two goals from the Brazilian on his champions League debut, when Tottenham signed him, I was not too please,I wanted lautaro Martinez from inter Milan but now he is with spurs I couldn't ask of more, because he is the complete package, he can play right and left and can also plays as a number 9, he is skillful, has lots of pace and energy and can score goals. He bring another dimension to the Tottenham attack and I think he will start against Manchester city this weekend at the premier League.

I can say that some matches in the Champions League didn't end as I expected. The most important of these are the matches against frankfurt and leverkusen.
Ajax managed to defeat the rangers team at home with a really dominant game. We can say that they didn't let the rangers team play. They played a really good team game.

todd boehley was feeling panic lol. I kinda feel that he was taking a very wrong decision. The transition needs the time and it can't be done instantly. Tuchel needs his more time with club and not being scaked by chelsea. So many players have gone from chelsea and the new players need adapt with the club. Liverpool lose a lot against napoli. i kinda feel that if what chelsea does was a bit better rather than liverpool. Todd was taking urgent decision without try to consider about all of possibilities.
Champion league was so important but not when a team can't wait its players to adapt with the club.

That's why is called the champions League because you compete with champions, I am not impressed with Liverpool this season, starting from the premier League and now champions League, I am not sure Liverpool will be stupid enough to sack Jürgen klopp right now because he is a legend and he is the one that made them reach this height they are now, but he has to fix this as quick as possible because they have the qualities to be better.

Hehe didn't Chelsea kinda panicked when they sacked Tuchel after they lost? I like the guy and I thought he just needed a bit more time with the "new" squad to turn things around again. I won't be surprised if Liverpool won't qualify for the next stage of CL. I don't see them beating Ajax at this point.

They better do because they have every right to be especially Klops now that it's a season of the sacking of coaches, I can count up to 4 coaches that have been sacked in just 1 month. I mean look at the Liverpool match, I know Napoli is a big team in Seria A and so does Liverpool in EPL, they don't deserve this kind of finishing in round 1. As if they even planned it from the beginning, Ajax beat Rangers 4-0 and Napoli beat Liverpool 4-1 and are both homes, they didn't allow any of the team comes to their home and have them humiliated, and the same Liverpool will be facing Ajax in the next round and definitely, they wouldn't back down with what they have started.

If it was chelsea ... they might sack klopp right in the morning lol.

So far at the early season ... liverpool didn't perform really well despite all the key players are available , the fans now looking something to blame and mane departure become one of many strong reasons.
4-1 were a solid winning for napoli especially those 3 goals scored in very short of time which yeah it's shocking, poor liverpool.

After losing the derby 3-2 to Milan, Inter had to lose again to Bayern Munich today. Inter didn't have many chances to score, but I think they did their best. This is just the first match in the group stage, there should be plenty of chances for each team to get points in the next 5 matches. Barcelona who are in the same group managed to win 5-1, it was a great match for Xavi's men today.

It's true that seeing Liverpool's inconsistent performance in the Premier League doesn't seem surprising if Liverpool perform poorly in
the Champions League. But Liverpool should not lose by a big score, this is very embarrassing for Liverpool, who were runners-up in
the Champions League the previous season. I think all Liverpool players are playing badly and playing below standard, so not only Liverpool's
back line is playing badly, Liverpool's front line is also not productive. Even though the statistics show Liverpool dominated the match and also
created quite a lot of chances. But Napoli are better in playing effectiveness, Napoli's attack was very effective and they ended up not only
winning the game, but Napoli can also score 4 goals. I hope Liverpool can bounce back and show a much better performance in the next game.

Inter played a solid match but honestly they arent no match for Bayern Munich,these guys are on another level. Bayern Munich played today with 50% only from what they can honestly show and they won easily 0-2 and could have been even more .

Liverpool have followed suit in taking their own hit in today's game after Chelsea's yesterday away match defeat and they even had worst defeat than Chelsea, This is just the beginning of the UEFA Champions League group stage match and there's no need to be panicking. I do believe that this guys Liverpool and Chelsea are still gonna bounce back better and qualify in their respective group stage regardless of the duo loosing in their first leg group stage games. The two teams really need to step up their games because loosing another game could deny them the opportunity to qualify for the next round of the game.

I see one of the most important opportunities that Inter could get a score, but Correa threw it away opportunities. It was obvious this man was too panicked in that position, if Inter got one goal of score maybe the other players would have been more confident because was mistake from the Bayern defender. I can't believe what I see it today Inter lost so badly without a score, 5 match left for Inter to collect a lot of points and qualify but I'm not sure they can.

Chelsea lost 1-0 yesterday to a craotian club dinamo zagreb and their coach was sacked Liverpool are suffering more defeat but the club is not looking at sacking jorgen klopp because he and his club believes they will bounce back to form and most importantly  the sale of sadio mane to the german club bayern munich is affecting liverpool side. indeed they are been humilated by the italian side Napoli, but may God  help them to bounce back.

Well it was 2-0 for Bayern in the end which was a pretty fair result in my opinion. Yes it is true that Bayern definitely could have scored 1 or 2 goals more if they would have been more efficient with their chances but Inter also had 1 or 2 chances after the halftime break so i think that result is totally fair. Overall if have to say that i was a little bit disappointed with the performances of Inter because when they had the ball everything was done way to slowly in my opinion. No fast sprints or risky balls to the strikers. This way it was pretty easy for Bayern to defend against them.
Also the result of Liverpool was totally surprising to me, seems like their pretty bad start into the premier league has lowered their confidence.

Considering the current performance of Liverpool in EPL matches, it is not surprising to see Liverpool got defeated by Napoli. But Liverpool conceded 4 goals was surely beyond expectation. I think the problem isn't in Liverpool attackers, but it is in Liverpool defenders. I know if Salah can't play with his best anymore, he failed to convert many chances to be goals. But Van Dijk performance and other Liverpool defenders are worse than Salah. We don't only blame Salah and other attackers, we must be aware that Liverpool defenders are very weak now.

One game full of drama is Atletico Madrid vs Porto. All the goals came in injury time, I think the fans were very happy with the result even though it wasn't for 90 minutes.

Liverpool must regret what happened today at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. They lost 4-1 to Napoli playing in front of their fans. It's a shame for Liverpool after they were expected to do better than Napoli but in fact they were too bad. Napoli are very strong and they really were able to humiliate Liverpool with an unexpected scoreline. A lot of gamblers lost today because of their good form, that's because Liverpool are the favorites in the match.

No draw from 8 matches today, Barcelona is today's top scorer team with 5 goals. Lewandowski scored a hattrick, he was incredible.

This is the worst performance of Liverpool so far and I think they need to go back to the drawing board before things will get out of hand.
I can't believe that they conceded three goals in the first half and I still couldn't get things fixed in the second half of the game it's a big embarrassment to Jurgen Kloop and the entire Liverpool team. I think it's obvious that Mane was they engine room to the team because has been lost in most matches since Mane moved to Bayern Munich. Good game for Napoli who play better football I think they deserve the winning .

I didn't expect Atletico Madrid to be this horrible team and not being able to dominate a game against Porto.Strange enough Porto played much better despite showing a horrible football against Rio Ave a couple of weeks back in their Primeira Liga in Portugal.Same is happening even with some other teams,for next time in betting we should take very very much into consideration how a team is behaving and playing in their local league because based on the results of tonight this has a lot of weight,especially seeing Liverpool performing poorly also on the Champions League.

And they just scored finally,great work.It took Porto to be on 10 men for this to happen.
