Napoli performance is not like last season, since Spalletti left Napoli has experienced a decline in performance making it difficult to maintain the consistency of their game. It is difficult for Napoli to stop Real Madrid with their current performance, even though Real Madrid have just been beaten by Atletico in La Liga, Real Madrid will still be the favorite despite their status as the visiting team.
Real Madrid always looks different when playing in the UCL, their performance is much better than when playing in La Liga. Real Madrid's DNA in the UCL is very strong, they play more solidly and often make their opponents collapse even though they are experiencing a crisis of top players in the striker position.

I think, if the Real Madrid squad will remain like this, then it will likely be difficult for Real Madrid to reach the Champions League final this season. Unless, if in the transfer market later Real Madrid managed to bring in new players or maybe managed to bring Mbappe, then it will certainly make Real Madrid have a great chance to be able to play until the final match. But yes, if in the transfer market later Real Madrid do not make many changes, then I think the Champions League this season will likely be a strong competition between Manchester City and Bayern Munich, or maybe Inter will still have a chance too, who knows.

Napoli has been regressed compared with last season's performance. Napoli was never lost or wasting points last season once the club was getting so many winstreaks in the serie a. How can you say that if napoli was performing well while it was not able to keep its winstreak like last season? it's a set back for napoli. It's not only attacking line but the defensive line needs to be improved as well but how can garcia solve it?
Napoli didn't have a good guy who can replace min jae in the club. The defenders are performing so poorly. Im loosing my confidence in this club. I must say that if intermilan had greater chance to win the title compared with napoli at this time.
Napoli will not do well in the last season even though osimhen was targeting UCL and it's far from being a real thing for napoli.

The Napoli team is currently performing well. Tried to do a lot better last season. But the team is doing great this season. However, the team's attack share needs to be improved. The team will do well if they play like this this season.

I think Bayern is the real competitor for City in UCL as well but I wouldn't take out Arsenal as well. Regarding Real Madrid...hard for me to believe in them in UCL this year but they look fantastic in LaLiga and they might end up winning it if Barca somehow makes mistakes. Overall , I think Real Madrid UCL era is gone and they will need some time again until this young team will learn how to actually win UCL as we saw for so many years that having a great team won't automatically win UCL.  

For now the position in the big group phase is likely to get them easily, their rival in group C is only Madrid and although they also have to watch out for Union because of their performance in the Champions League even though the first match lost but they are still quite good in terms of defense but Madrid and Napoli are strong candidates to qualify for the last 16 phase.
Napoli's 2nd match is a bit tough because there is Madrid ready to travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Technically they play home for sure with great confidence but when the opponent is Madrid obviously this will be different and it could be that they lose so in this match it would be great if they could get 1 point or force for 3 points but if it is difficult then 1 point will not be a problem I think.

Yes, Madrid and Munich will always be Manchester City's competitors in the CL, not visible to PSG and other clubs because they are not very promising, while clubs from the Italian league usually have the luck of meeting clubs that are not as good as them so they can qualify for the final. If Munich and Madrid don't meet Manchester City maybe they can meet in the final, I'm also a Manchester City fan, I hope they don't meet the favorite club so that the final can be met with Madrid or Munich.

But if you look at the current main squad, Madrid is quite better than last season and so is Munich. I think this season's CL will really show a good match and I will be happy to see City win the CL again this season for the second time in a row, just like they won the EPL in a row. Guardiola certainly wants it.

Many see Manchester City as the main contenders for the title again. They probably do have the best results among the other clubs, but unpredictability often happens in football. Like when Chelsea beat Manchester City in the final a few years ago. I'd like to see some other team win this season.

@CryptopreneurBrainboss I completely disagree about Onana because while the defence did fail him few of the goals he conceded were too simple and a goal keeper of his caliber should have stopped them and for now he needs to step up and at least do basic duties well. Furthermore Ronaldo had an amazing team behind him and Mbappe is selfish and there’s not much unity among PSG player’s hence I doubt that Mbappe alone can fire them to champions league glory.

Manchester united problem isn't their goalkeeper, the faults is from the defense because looking at Onana first few games at Manchester united and that of De Gea, Onana has had a better performance because he has faced more shots and saved more shots although he has conceded more and that's became the defense aren't working and allowing the other side have more opportunity to score. If I'm not mistaking, De Gea faced few shots in his last few games and conceded more goals. Onana is a great goal keeper that's also good with his feet and that's why Erik ten Hag went after him because he wanted a football that the ball gets played from the back and progress to the front. Manchester united just needs to work on their defenses and they'll have a good chance of competing for the champion league this season.


I won't write any team off yet except the smaller teams which PSG isn't one of them. One player is capable of changing the fate of a team in the champions league. Mbappe might just get a run that he scores in every champions league game and increase the chances of PSG winning it. Ronaldo did it when he was at Real Madrid and lifted the trophy for them. The quarter finals is also a good results but they have gotten to that stages many times and it won't be what they'll be looking to achieve this season. The other teams aren't playing that crazy that you'll think the PSG teams can't defeat them. It's only Manchester city that I can say they can defeat every other teams in the competition this season because after losing some important players, its looking like the team became stronger instead of weak.

It could happen, the both teams have played against each other in the last two seasons in the CL, Real Madrid eliminated City on the road to winning the CL title in the 2021/2022 season, whilst City as well defeated Real Madrid on the road to winning the CL title in the 2022/2023 season, thus if they meet this season, it will be the third time in a row, and who knows, this time it could be in the final.

Having said that, City are strong favorites to defend their CL trophy, there are other strong contenders like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but i think the time has come for City to dominate in Europe, and i am backing them to win the CL back to back.

Napoli will face Real Madrid at home so it is quite difficult for them to get full points in that match, even though Real Madrid have just suffered a defeat in the domestic league. For this match, I am more confident that Real Madrid will emerge victorious because Napoli are also not in the best condition at the moment.

Manchester United will face Galatasaray at Old Trafford and this is an important match to get full points and if Manchester United lose it will be difficult for them to qualify for the next round. Erik Ten Hak will apply an attacking strategy in this match and they must be able to break into Galatasaray's goal in the early minutes so they can get a complete victory.

That's quite an interesting order and there's nothing wrong with placing several teams according to their performance so far, both in the domestic league and their results in the Champions League. However, regardless of your prediction list, I still place Manchester City in first place, then second place is filled by Real Madrid, the third and fourth positions can be random.

However, I feel that Manchester City has been a very solid team since last season and even in any competition they can still be stable and consistent in becoming champions. Meanwhile, Real Madrid often face difficulties in the domestic league, but when it comes to the Champions League, they will do everything, even a comeback which is impossible for them to do. So that's my opinion and maybe we will still see Manchester City and Real Madrid having a rematch in the Champions League this season.

Bayern Munich is already one of most successful clubs in Europe and currently still are amongst strongest clubs so Kane made a good choice to be a player of the German club. He is no longer responsible for many tasks like in Tottenham but can receive better support from his team mates. No doubt about better quality of Bayern Munich players and strength of their squad in general. Team mates support Kane with key passes and he can provide them good passes or assists with his great vision and good, accurate passing skills.

Napoli will have more careful preparation of opponents against them because they are no longer an underdog like the last season. They can go to round of 16 but going farther will be very difficult. They need to play better than the past season, that I doubt they can do it, and a lot of luckiness. An underdog can make surprise when big clubs are careless but with current position of Napoli, none of big clubs will play against Napoli with careless attitude because Napoli is currently Serie A Champions.

I don't think there is any reason for Harry Kane to worry about winning the Ballon d'Or now because if he can perform with the team he has joined now then he can definitely win the Ballon d'or. Bayern Munich players including Harry Kane are in good form at the moment so based on the team performance we can definitely expect some good results from Bayern Munich in the Champions League this season. If Munich can make it to the semi-finals or final of the Champions League, Harry Kane will contribute so much that he will surely be nominated for the Ballon d'Or next season. Harry Kane  has contributed a lot for Bayern Munich in every match he has played for Bayern Munich so far.  

Undoubtedly, Harry Kane is one of the best strikers of all time.

Harry Kane is indeed a very good and talented player, but I think there is no need to have excessive expectations at the start of this season for things like the Ballon d'Or and so on even though he is very enthusiastic about his new team, Bayern Munich, this season. Because in general, Bayern Munich just needs to play as well as possible in order to get through all the rounds in the Champions League this season well enough to get to the final to win the title this season.

You’re probably right about Napoli. They’re not having the performance they would have hoped. But I did think they played rather well in their game against Braga despite the fact that their second goal which gave them the win was an own goal. They had some good chances but failed to produce goals.
Going up against Real Madrid would not be so easy. They narrowly came out as the victor in the game with Braga and the game with Madrid will most likely be more difficult. The game would certainly be interesting to watch. I think both sides could each score a goal.

Bayern Munich falls in the favorite lists for clubs that are opportune to win the UEFA Champions League this season because they're in form. Though there are other clubs that do suit in the position of becoming Champions but it's rather too early to decides the winner, we can only selects out teams that have good chances of becoming winners. Harry Kane is the best striker in the world presently? Then what about Erling Haaland in Manchester City who's keen on breaking more records in City and also EPL. He's weigh outstanding and positioned than Harry Kane, besides he's young and have more years to play football. Harry Kane, I don't think so, we would decide that probably in the mid-season, by comparing how many goals he has scored to Erling Haaland who won a treble last season and competing for Ballon d'Or with Leo Messi. Is that the type of player you're illustrating that Harry Kane is better than?

Real Madrid had a poor performance against Atletico Madrid in the last match and they lost by a huge margin of 3-1 against Atletico Madrid so many Real Madrid fans are wondering if Real Madrid will do the same in their Champions League second leg against Nepali. Because Real Madrid played a bad match in La Liga, the Champions League match will also be bad, but this is not the case, we have seen that in the past seasons, Real Madrid has performed a little poorly in La Liga, but in the Champions League, they have shown the best performance. 
Real Madrid is always a favorite team against Napoli and if my prediction is correct then Real Madrid will definitely win this match. 

I bet on real madrid against atlético madrid and lost bet but i bet on real madrid against napoli in champions league hope i don't lose bet.

The money that Bayern Munich spent to bring in Harry Kane is in line with the contribution he has made to the club, he has adapted very well to his new club by scoring lots of goals. He made a big contribution when Bayern Munich beat Manchester United and in his last match in the Bundesliga, he also managed to score a hat trick against Bochum.
It has become easier for Tuchel to develop strategies since Kane's arrival, Munich's goal productivity has also increased, Tuchel's experience in the UCL plus the support of quality players has made Bayern Munich the favorites in the UCL this season. Trophies are their main goal this season, Bayern Munich can win them if they consistently maintain the quality of their game.
