Real Madrid has not replaced Benzema yet,the player in that squad can not do too much in big games. Winning the Champions League without a top nine willead to fatal failure.

Your top 4 favourites for champions league is not bad because you predicted with the current form of these clubs but you didn't consider history which forms the main factor that determines who wins champions league. If you included history and the current form, it is either Manchester City would have made your number one choice or Real Madrid would have been your number one choice. It is not very decent to have Manchester City and Real Madrid in contest and yet you chose Bayern over them. Another thing is that I am not sure of Barcelona and why you had to include them.

I think it's not the right time to guess the top 4 candidates, we need to wait until the quarter final, this will be interesting when the 4 teams you mentioned above are meet each other, so there's will be a new candidate comes up.

The start of the season in the Premier League for Newcastle United has not been the best. They have struggled to find consistency in their performance. Well actually about PSG we can say the same. But PSG is at least improving. I think we can say that about PSG by looking at the last match that they have played. Personally, I think it is going to be a very competitive match between these two teams. The match even ended up in a draw. Because currently, it is very hard to say that one team is way better compared to the other.

Mbappe has been important key player in the PSG squad so far, if he doesn't have serious injury, then of course he will be available in the match against Newcastle on UCL. At the moment I haven't found any information regarding Mbappe injury, but according to the rumors in my local media Mbappe injury is not too serious. So there is a possibility he will can recover soon and return to strengthen PSG attack line, but if Mbappe not 100% fit then it is unlikely he will play full time. PSG played well against Dortmund and picked up three points. But Newcastle also played well away to Milan and managed not to lose their first game in the Champions League. But PSG won their last game easily against Marseille. And all the goals were scored without Mbappe's involvement. I think they should have no problem against Newcastle.

That's actually quite reasonable because when Mbappe is injured then indirectly they (the fans) must panic because they realize that PSG cannot do much when Mbappe is not in the squad Cheesy

Fortunately, the worry did not happen because Mbappe was only slightly bruised and could still return to play in the end in the next few matches.
This could be a bit convenient for PSG because with Mbappe in the squad they (the fans) can at least be more confident because until now even though PSG is filled with several big players, in the end Mbappe is the one who contributes the most.

Why would the fans think that the injury of Mbappe will make them lose the match. They shouldn’t have all their hopes on one player to always make the change and win matches for them, this is more important for the other team players to have in mind. Mbappe can take in injury at anytime, at training or even playing match, so they should always be another alternative to him even though the alternative can’t perform as much as he does but he should be also to make a difference as he does.

I can't imagine if PSG will be coming to the james park with ramos instead of mbappe which has more experience compared with him. Ramos might seem perform so well against marseille but Newcastle is different and it's EPL team which is competing in the most competitive league in the world.
I don't even know what to say but PSG shall go to the james park with mbappe. That's a must. Mbappe probably become a key for PSG to quality for play off. Three points on james park is really important to give more lives to the PSG.

Dortmund was indeed disappointing when they lost to PSG in the first match but next Dortmund will meet AC Milan and when Dortmund loses in this match Dortmund hopes of qualifying for the last 16 are over.

IMO, it's not just their appearance that's bad. but Pioli really hasn't changed their style of play much, the same as last season. Likewise with Eddie Howe, I often said it in previous posts. Newcastle has a solid performance against intermilan. If you are still taking what vidal said and that's bullshit man. Vidal was acmilan haters caused by he has been playing for acmilan's competitor (Intermilan & juventus).
You will never ever see him to praise acmilan. It's bullshit to see him said like that. His comment was even disgusting than the game between newcastle vs milan.

Newcastle was trying so hard to defend its club from any attack that was coming from its opponent. I see nothing wrong with it. Acmilan was attacking newcastle like crazy. Newcastle's goal keeper should become man of the match during that game as he made a bunch of great saves.
I think that howe knew what was his fault and he is trying to make sure his club will able to perform better once newcastle will face PSG very soon.
I can't even wait to see mbappe play in the st james park. Newcastle is not yet using all of its potential.
