The name champions league just befits this league best and this can be seen from the type of teams that usually play in this league. There is never a dull match in this league as they keeping giving us surprises and entertaining football matches during the midweek. Although, during the group stage matches, they are not as entertaining as during the knockout stages but the entertainment doesn’t seize continuously. The uncertainty of the team to prevail in every match is intriguing, an underrated team can still beat a more experienced team and that’s what makes the football more fun to watch. When a small team gets to eliminate a bigger team, it always create fear in the minds of the remaining teams that will be facing such team in the knockout stage which always results in a balanced and intensed game.

It is true that there is nothing certain about the outcome of a match. The favorites can still lose a game or two so that will be profitable for some gamblers but I admit a lot of people probably won't have much faith in the non favorites.

In Group A, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are the favorites. While Arsenal, PSV, Napoli and Real Madrid are the favorites in their respective groups. Yes, AC Milan, Dortmund, and Newcastle are all potential landmines. But, if I recall correctly, PSG has this weird knack of besting Dortmund frequently. So, despite the managerial musical chairs, they’ve been consistent since, what, 2013? Always making it to the knockout stage? I guess they have a fighting chance!

No matter how well Kylian Mbappe performs, I am still convinced that PSG will not do well in the Champions League. Because last season one of the best players in the world could not do well in the Champions League despite being in this team.

How mate? I mean how is Sevilla that is yet to win any match this season make it out group stage when other teams have made more than one or two win in their matches. I was impressed with them the last time they held Super cup with Manchester City which they played draw to final and then further proceed to extra time and then lost to Manchester City but since then, they haven't fallen into good shape, and I'm not sure if they are going to beat Atletico Madrid as well that are currently on 4th place on the table.
