When it comes to PSG's chance in their group it is quite high on paper. But we can't think of this situation from a plain point of view. PSG have made some changes in their squad. Especially the attacking area is quite different than before. Mbappe is the only member left there in the starting eleven. The names they have brought to the team are really skilled attackers in fact. But it looks like they need more time to start showing their usual performances.

Attacking power is everything for PSG. Mbappe's responsibility is even bigger now. Newcastle, Dortmund and Milan are all tough opponents. This group is open for a surprise so PSG had better stay solid as a team.

One of the matches that cannot be missed is in group E which brought Lazio against Atletico. Previously in history the two teams had never faced each other in the champions league competition and this would be the first meeting for two strong teams from Italy and Spain. If you look at the achievements of both last season in each league, it is actually quite balanced in terms of the strength of these two teams. Maybe it will be very difficult to guess who will win this match and I think Atletico will be slightly superior this time. Atletico have consistently had more experience in this competition and for Lazio it's their first time after 3 seasons out.
To see who is stronger, there may not be any head to head references available for these two teams in the Champions League, so determining the winner of one of them will be much more difficult. However if take a closer look at the team's strengths, Atletico Madrid is superior to Lazio because they often play in the Champions League. Simeone's troops have also been outstanding at the start of the season in La Liga and they have also been quite prolific in scoring goals. It's different from Lazio, who haven't found their rhythm in Serie A and haven't reached a level of consistency until now, even though they were surprisingly able to beat the defending champions in Serie A last week.

I still favor Atletico Madrid because there are many things that make them more favourites. Speaking of the Champions League, maybe experience also determines the extent to which the competing teams can deal with pressure in matches and Atletico Madrid so far has that advantage compared to Lazio because they are used to facing that in the Champions League.
In the Champions league, experience does matter alot.  You also know that the tactics are different for the various teams from their different leagues.
Atletico Madrid has more in terms of champions league match experience and even if they are yet to lift the trophy, I do feel they may likely be the victors in this encounter.
They currently rank 4th in their la Liga, while Lazio ranks 12th. Imagine the difference coupled with Diego Simone the manager, with a consistent record among others in same league.

I just can't fully believe in PSG to advance to next round. I will need to see how they will perform in the first group games before anything else. Because their group isn't an easy one. All teams are capable ones. PSG had serious difficulties against Benfica in the previous season as you know.

I think this time it will be even more difficult for them. Because they don't have the same squad now and the newly joined players are still in adaptation phase. Mbappe has even a bigger responsibility this season.

As long as PSG didn't lose Kylian Mbappe, I don't have any doubts about their performance. They have purchased new players, and I have faith in Lee Kang-in and Asensio to perform wonderfully for the team and make them to the top. They lost their first games without Mbappe, but since his return to the squad, they have started winning all of their games. He recently signed a new contract through 2025, and I believe that. He will make the most of the chance to contribute positively to the team and may perhaps get the chance to win the UCL.  Since Dortmund has lost all of their top players and hasn't replaced them with new ones, I am positive that they will defeat Dortmund in their opening group stage encounter. As a result, I have no concerns about PSG advancing through the group stage.

Sevilla team is performing very well. Sergio Ramos, one of the best defenders ever, has been added to the team By doing this, the party will become stronger than before. Hope the team will try their best to do well this season.
Well, Sevilla have started this season just as bad as they did last season, i don't know where you got the impression that they are performing very well, they have played three games in La Liga this season and they have lost all three of them and they are rooted in the bottom of the table.

Having said that, it is going to be somewhat difficult for Sevilla to make it out of Groub B in the CL, but their fans might not mind if they crash out and into the Europa league, because they have a knack of winning that competition.

Sevilla looks really good this season so far and i think they will go really far this season. In the champions league i think they will finally make a step forward and go into the knock out faze. They played maybe against teams on bottom but this is where you make easy points. Sevilla this year looks like top 4 team in the la liga

Their performance in La Liga so far has been very bad. How could I not, judging from their last four matches, it is impossible for last season's UEFA Europa League champions to not be able to achieve even 1 draw.
The reason that might make me feel that Sevilla can qualify from the group stage of this tournament is their appearance against Manchester City in the UEFA Super Cup match on August 17, which was held at the Georgios Karaiski stadium, Greece.

Even though they lost and Manchester City lifted the trophy, Sevilla's defeat was a good credit in my opinion. That is, it's possible that Sevilla's performance in La Liga is bad, but the quality of their play can be different in this tournament.
Even though Sevilla's performance is bad in La Liga, I am sure this team will look different in the Champions League. Sevilla cannot be underestimated for any reason this season after they established themselves as kings of the Europa League last season. The Champions League is a different competition compared to domestic competitions, so a competitive atmosphere will make them more confident to play better.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sevilla managed to break a lot of people's speculation about their chances in the Champions League, but I think Sevilla really needs to work hard to realize this mission. Ramos has joined the team and he will probably make a better defensive performance than before.

What makes me think that Sevilla could get past the group stage in the Champions League is their Europa League performance from last season.
That is one of the reasons we can suspect that Sevilla will be able to qualify from the group stage.

Anything else was a big failure, their performance in La Liga was shameful sometimes. That's when nobody thought they could beat all those big names in the Europa League. And once again they are doing the same mistakes in La Liga, but since they made me wonder last season when they beat all those superior teams, I don't want to make my call here too early and not give them a chance. Sevilla is Sevilla and while I don't have the perfect explanation for what is happening with them, it is a fact that they are playing differently in those UEFA tournaments.

It seems that everyone already knows which way Sevilla will finish and I think they will be at the bottom. There is no compelling reason other than that at the moment Sevilla is very fragile and will not be able to compete in the group. Most of their opponents are teams that have been very promising since last season and perhaps Sevilla's only advantage is winning the European league. Especially with the absence of goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, it will be easier for Sevilla to break into the goal.
Anyone can think that a team can fail straight away, but that can't be 100% true when a team that can start quickly fails to qualify like Sevilla.
The four teams in group B, including Sevilla, look strong in their own league. Arsenal is strong in the English Premier League, Lens is strong in Ligue 1 even though they only have 1 point from the 4 matches they have played. If we look at last season, Lens was PSG's toughest competitor in the race for the Ligue 1 title. PSV Eindhoven was also strong in the Eredivisie.

Group B is equally strong, including Sevilla as a team that will compete with 3 other teams. This season, in my opinion, Sevilla can qualify from the group stage.
Don't look at Sevilla from the loss of several important players like the loss of Yassine Bounou.

Last season Sevilla managed to get the Europa Cup trophy but this season there are no big hopes for Sevilla in the Champions League, plus they are in group B which is filled by Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven and Lens and the tough opponents for Sevilla are Arsenal and Lens because these two teams also have strengths that can be said to be very frightening by providing unexpected surprises in every match.
I'm not sure Sevilla will qualify for the round of 16.
PSV Eindhoven is also a fairly strong team in Group B so Sevilla must be able to achieve more wins if they want to qualify for the round of 16. Although I myself also think that it will be very difficult for Sevilla to qualify for that round because the other three teams in the same group as Sevilla are teams that have the strength to compete for the next round. Personally, I am more sure that Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven will qualify for the last 16 for teams in grub B.
It seems that everyone already knows which way Sevilla will finish and I think they will be at the bottom. In fact, this condition is not only experienced by Sevilla, Lens, who are in Group B, are also experiencing a downturn at the moment. Arsenal and PSV have benefited from the setback in Sevilla and Lens performance, but that doesn't mean there won't be surprises in Group B.

What's interesting is that Sevilla and Lens met faster in the group phase, even though they were both underdogs. while Arsenal will face PSV, it is quite interesting to look forward to this group B drama.

That depends on the result between sevilla against arsenal. If sevilla will able to be equal as arsenal and the chance is very big. Sevilla will be facing lens first and it will become an opportunity for the club to play better than the domestic league.
I hope that if mendilibar will do something to make sevilla come back again from its horrible performance. Sevilla is now having ramos as a great defender, which will help the club in the defensive line.
Lens may become easy opponent for sevilla caused by lens was also struggling in the league 1 which was less competitive compared with la liga. I think that sevilla had a bigger chance to win the game.
Arsenal will be facing PSV first which will also be able to give the gunners a tough game.

Yes, Sevilla is quite tough in competitions other than their Domestic League. either they play a very strong defensive game when facing a fairly aggressive team. but Sevilla can always see a gap to make a deadly counterattack.
Let's see how Sevilla will face Lens. if they can get a win, it will be good for them in the next match.
In this group, Sevilla still has a chance to qualify for the group phase. At least they can accompany Arsenal to qualify, who may be more favorites to win the group.

Still quite sure that Atletico Madrid will be able to overcome Lazio well, because Atletico Madrid have better players materially and their experience in European competitions is better than Lazio, who have very little experience.
Of the four teams in the group, Atletico Madrid is predicted to win the group, while the runners-up will still be a question, because Feyenoord, Lazio and Celtic don't seem to be much different in strength, if they can maximize every home game and try to get a draw rom away matchs then they will have the opportunity to qualify from the group phase.
But they also have to concentrate on the domestic league, if something unpleasant happens in the domestic league it will affect their strength in the UCL.
Lazio and Feyenoord seem more likely to accompany Atletico Madrid through the group phase, but this is only based on the seed list because during matches unexpected things can happen.
It's true because Atletico are able to do well even though they often have to fail when they get the chance to win the Champions League title but they also don't give up and are always consistent to qualify from the group stage every season. Lazio and Feyenoord are indeed quite good as Atletico's companion teams, but I prefer Celtic to be there with Atletico. The reason is that this team is quite amazing and even though their squad has lost far from the other 3 teams, I hope that they can show their consistency since last season in the domestic league in this group stage to overthrow Lazio and Feyenoord.
ATM is a good team without a doubt, but they are lacking that just one bit of extra money I suppose. They have always been the third biggest club in Spain as far as I can remember, been more than a decade for sure, maybe more than two, and they have been doing fine. But, they never catch up to Barcelona or Real Madrid. They need more money I suppose but being the second biggest club of the same city does make it harder without a doubt.

I think it should be important to realize that you are not going to end up getting any better. Maybe if they go global, like get some big big name, that could have worked for them. Like instead of Saudi Arabia, if Ronaldo went to ATM, that would be near impossible but that's what they need.

Are you not realize, that last season also Sevilla played in the Champions League. In fact, last season Sevilla also played poorly in La Liga but what happened was, last season Sevilla managed to finish in third place in the final group G standings in the Champions League last season. So, because Sevilla managed to finish in third place, it allowed Sevilla to continue to the Europa League. At least, what is happening with Sevilla at this moment is not much different from what Sevilla experienced last season. So yes, although Sevilla do not have a great chance of qualifying for the round of 16 but in reality, Sevilla still have a chance to finish in third position and continue to the Europa League.

Group F signifies ( Fire )  But, I'm convinced PSG would make it to the next level ( Round of Sixteen ). They have a coach with experience of winning the Champions League, not all these they've had in the past three years and counting. Now, all that need be is for him to get the  boys buzzing with great understanding.

With Messi and Neymar now out of the squad they will ave to take individual and group effort to win games. That can be achieved, with how they play during the weekends, they can also confidently do same when they play thr Champions League during the mid-week games.
Under Enrique's coaching I hope PSG can be more independent and as you said, they have to build a solid partnership. Without Messi and Neymar does not mean PSG is easy to beat. There is still a lot of potential at stake in the UCL so it will bring positive points for all PSG players. Dembele and Mbappe must build solidarity with each other. Even though Group F is a hellish group, I personally will really be looking forward to this match, especially the competition between the clubs in Group F.

I'm not sure if you notice, right before Messi came to PSG, Paris Sent German club always perform better even though they don't make it to the final but the season of 21/22 and 22/23 were not a successful season in the Champions League, the two season ended in the group of 16. I'm not sure if they are going to pass that stage this season without Messi but who will give them that Dimaria and Neymar incredible contribution, those 3 first forward really did some great work back then before the club turn to hate one, maybe Mbape will pull a good one this time for the club.

Forget about Messi, he is in MLS enjoying his time and the smile says all. I believe PSG performance has improved in their domestic league, no lost just draw and win. With this, if they replicate some good moves and take this current squad, they will go far but the final is what I don't guarantee actually.

Sevilla was promising side but in last season they are having trouble due to off the field issues which ruin them, but good thing happen they able to win the Europa Cup and now having spot into Champions League with still we have uncertainty about them due to debit issues mostly feeling things are not into their favor with Arsenal and PSV currently having much better situation and these both can go through into next round from this group with Sevilla will try to make their mark into Europa Cup which is their favorite land for the better results.

Sevilla needs to be stabilized because with this no one can give them any favor Sergio Ramos is having good transfer in this bad time, but this is 11 players events, so one player can't bring positive results.

The Champions League is not the right place for Sevilla even though they are regular representatives from La Liga but it is not their place.
I feel there will be several options and plans in this regard for Sevilla.
First, forcing them to qualify for the last 16 even though they will struggle and will fall in that phase or the quarter finals.
Secondly, they will take the same path as last season when they moved to the Europa League and focus there.
Thirdly, abandon the focus on the Europa League and Champions League and focus on the domestic as they are now in a very bad shape although this is not guaranteed but they should try to improve.

These 3 options must be chosen and must be the goal because then they will at least get a better goal because if not they will definitely be the same in domestic and European competition they will be destroyed.

For now I have to agree with your statement, it will be difficult for Sevilla to qualify for the last 16. Joining Group B with Arsenal, Lens and PSV will make Sevilla have to work hard, Sergio Ramos experience in this competition is really needed even though the veteran defender is no longer young.

Arsenal are favorites to win the group, Sevilla automatically has to compete fiercely to fill the runner up position. PSV and Lens certainly want that position, hoping that Ramos can boost Sevilla to compete in Group B.
