The lots were drawn and the groups were determined. I think the most difficult group is F. (PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Ac Milan, Newcastle United)

Galatasaray's group is also a difficult group, Bayer Munich, Manchester United and Copenhagen.  I think we can be 3rd best in this group.

Easiest group E: Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, Celtic

The teams in this group are for me evenly matched. Probobly the toughest group this season in the champions league. Newcastle is the main favorite to pass the group from my side of view. PSG will struggle a lot this season and will fight hard for that second place in the group. Milan also is looking solid so i think they have a slight chance to do something.
No, For newcastle united this is a big obstacle for them to beat opponents who are full of experience in the champions league. Newcastle United three opponents in the group stage have quite a long experience in the Champions League and so far I think that PSG is the strongest in Group F.

For Manchester City, it seems like they don't have any problems in the group phase because in Group G there are no teams that are equal in strength to them so Manchester City chances of winning the group are quite wide open. And this also benefits Manchester City because they lost Kevin De Bruyne due to injury, making them lucky enough to be in Group G.

That group is filled with inconsistent clubs. PSG can fumble anything in this life. They're the biggest team in the group in terms of squad but you can't even guarantee that they'll qualify.
Dortmund is a team that is known for its bottling. They may end up not qualifying for the Europa even. This is something they have done time and again.
We do not know the kind of form Milan would come with this season but even in their best form, they're not unbeatable.
Newcastle stands a lot of chances in that group but they would have to fight tooth and nails to qualify

I also thought the same but the fact that Newcastle doesn’t have any prior experience of the champions league competition makes me doubt their qualification out of the group stage. Just like you’ve analyzed each team, any team can fumble and give Newcastle a breakthrough to the next round. This won’t still be easy though, because every team comes with a lot of preparations, zeal and have trained hard to win each of the  matches and qualify for the next round. The competition in that group is going to be fierce and interesting to watch.

Group F: PSG Dortmund Milan Newcastle

It's a death group, okay, but this group is within reach.

Dortmund is no longer the same as when it had Sancho and Haaland, and the last time Newcastle qualified for the Champions League was the 2003/04 season.
The only team that can hurt PSG is AC Milan.
And I think PSG and AC Milan will advance to the next round.
When seeing this group, well, this will be the most interesting group.
Newcastle is practically a newcomer and immediately enters this hell-group.
However, this will actually be a very memorable experience for them and will motivate them to always perform brilliantly in every match. It won't be easy for them, but at least they can do their best.
I think the same as you, if you look at their current squad, maybe Milan is the  favorite. PSG maybe yes, but their performance is not as strong as before, with many of their mainstay players leaving the group, it won't be easy for PSG to be as optimal as possible. Formerly.

Maybe Newcastle came from the last pot to Group F but they can't be underestimated even a bit. Because the progress they have made recently is really big. Maybe they haven't been a regular in the Champions League for many years. But I don't still expect them to have big difficulties in adapting to the tournament.

Even against PSG they can stay solid. In England at least. But PSG are really not very consistent these days. This makes me think about different scenarios for the group but let's see. There are still many weeks until the games start.

Newcastle United get in a toughest group but it is more than a nightmare for them. They did not expect to be in such group. PSG, Dortmund, Milan and Newcastle United will have to beat each other to get only two tickets to go next.

Group F, PSG and Milan

I have doubts in this group.
Group f for now is the only group that is difficult to predict who will qualify because looking at the condition of the club and how they are in the domestic competition, they are really a very good club now.
PSG is definitely the strongest candidate to qualify but even if that's the case seeing them in the first few games in Ligue 1 it's still not really a sure thing.
On the other hand, Newcastle, Dortmund and Milan I think their quality is quite balanced now. Although Newcastle is a new club to the Champions League but looking at last season's performance and the strength of their money backed by Seikh it makes them strong now so I think for this club it is complicated in saying who will qualify from the group phase.

All of us mostly have a same feelling about Newcastle, they will not thinking about a champion title for now. Because currently they are underdog team in UCL. The most important things for them is, experience. Newcastle have money, but doesn't have experience in UCL, its mean nothing. So, I believe, this season they will have a target to go to the next round, at least. Next season if they are qualified again, that will be a time to build a team to compete for UCL title.
Of course, Newcastle is a new comer, they won't think about winning the title this season. I'm very sure Newcastle will play without certain goals, but it doesn't mean they will be easy to defeat. Sometimes, a team with no pressure can play better and able to optimize their potential. So, it isn't impossible if Newcastle can surprise us. Although they have no experience in UCL, they looks strong enough. Personally, I assume they have a chance to compete in the group F.

The Newcastle team is not thinking about the Champions League title. But they will definitely want to qualify for the knockout round. And I think they will try their best to play in round of 16. The Newcastle team is pretty stable.
Sure, no team wants to be eliminated early, they want to qualify for the next round. Newcastle must expect to qualify for the next round, they want to give their best for the fans and the club management. Although Newcastle got 2 bad results in EPL (2 losses) in the early of this season, I'm sure Newcastle can show better games in UCL.

Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are in the easiest groups to qualify for the next round of the competition as they are both the dominating soccer force in the groups. Napoli with Victor Osimhen will play Real Madrid and that makes that group too another interesting group to see.
From Group A, I predict Manchester United and Bayern to qualify,
Group B, I predict Arsenal and Sevilla to qualify,
Group C, I predict Napoli and Madrid,
in Group D, I predict Benfica and Inter Milan,
for Group E, Atletico Madrid and Lazio,
Group F, PSG and Milan
Group  G, Manchester City and Leipzig,
Group H, Barcelona and Porto.

We may be surprised by the outcome of the results from some groups, but basically with my predictions, that is how I expect the group stages to end.

Newcastle are now in a high guts test group of teams that will face big teams but of you might underestimate it? For me, no. See later Newcastle can bring a more interesting game even Milan can not move when meeting each other.

Just an assumption, but now I like Newcastle's game.  Grin

Maybe this is what is expected, but who says it will be eliminated soon because they have a great and solid squad now in the hands of Eddie Howe.
Prove that Newcastle can move on from this group.
What's interesting for group F is that they are strong teams there like AC milan, Dortmund, PSG and Newcastle United. But for Newcastle United, it's like falling into the hell group in the Champions League this season because Newcastle United are directly faced with big teams from other leagues, which makes them have to try their best to be able to win every game they play.

In addition, Tonali will again face Ac milan in the Champions League this season. As we see it is a big reunion after he left Ac milan in this season's transfer window. I believe ac milan fans will welcome him well when he arrives in another jersey at the san siro stadium.

It seems that the entire group stage exists only for the sake of us seeing one interesting group:

Group F: PSG Dortmund Milan Newcastle

This is a real group of death and here from the first round there will be a battle not for life but for death. The rest of the groups look like jokes compared to this one. Well, in principle, it's very good: in other groups you can watch when the first and second teams play each other (like Bayern vs United), but here all the games will be good.

It's a death group, okay, but this group is within reach.

Dortmund is no longer the same as when it had Sancho and Haaland, and the last time Newcastle qualified for the Champions League was the 2003/04 season.

You probably forgot to look at the composition of other groups? Name me at least one that would be at least a little close in terms of the average level (without pronounced favorites and underdogs)? You can even take last season if you want. I don't have time to dig deep right now, but I think this is the most interesting group in years. Groups of three interesting teams are obtained quite often (for example, Bayern - Inter - Barcelona last year), but here there are four of them at once.

I don't know how your believe is in the Newcastle team, but I can say I have a lot of trust and faith in that team, infact, they are the only team I'm very scared of in England at the moment, and them having a draw against the big teams in Europe,I know quite well that Newcastle can win AC Milan, they can also win PSG because there is no Neymar, and Messi in that team anymore,so why are you scared?I believe so much  in their abilities, and that fear factor cannot make me lose my faith and believe in a team that qualified for top four last season. They are a tough side that can win any opponent that comes their way.I am really interested in seeing them play against these big teams.
Truth be told the departure of those players you mentioned from their various clubs have cost a lot of gap in those clubs and I am sure this are the reason why many of the stronger top clubs face a lot of pressure on some occasions, the ultimate goal for the clubs is to win and anything outside of that is already out of the game plans and Newcastle united haven't experienced champions league in last few season knows better how to fixed they players to place them in a better position to delivers goals on any given opportunities.

It's likely barcelona gonna face arsenal. There are some clubs that have become my concerns now, especially barcelona. This club always could not go to the play off.
barcelona was always failed in passing the group stage. Xavi will be coming with so many changes in the new squad. It's pretty interesting to see barcelona to play in UCL soon.
What is certain is that we only have to wait a few more hours before the draw is made.
The 32 clubs are now complete and we're just waiting to see how the draw is made.
Last season Barcelona didn't get a good group which saw them eliminated in the group stage it seems they are hoping this time is easier than before because when they were in a difficult group again even though Barcelona have changed for the better still the skepticism towards Xavi who led Barcelona to fail to pass the group stage for the last 2 seasons makes this complicated.
Barcelona will once again await its fate during the draw for the Champions League group stage. The five-time UCL champion is indeed in pot 1 but it's not certain that they will get an easy opponent but it could make them return to the group of hell like last season, how come Xavi Hernandez will still be a strong opponent who comes from pot 2 like Manchester United , Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan. Then in pot 3 there is AC Milan and Newcastle in pot 4. If the draw results again fall into a strong group then Xavi has the potential to move down again to the Europa League.

But I have another record for Barca this season, for this season the Blaugrana seem to have found their true level of play again. Xavi has really done quite a good job so far and this has been proven by him last season by successfully winning back the La Liga title. For their chances in UCL this season, I predict they will go far.
Now they will breathe a little easier because this time they will be in a relatively easy group because they are in group H with FC Porto, Shaktar Donetsk, Royal Antwerp. This is a good opportunity for them because seeing the opponents in the group phase is actually favorable for them and it would be a shame if they had to be eliminated again in the group phase in this relatively easy group.
On the other hand, we can again see the hell group in the group stage this time. Group F is filled with big clubs and even all clubs that can be said to be very big now. Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Newcastle United. I can't wait to see them fight now. Even though Newcastle can be said to be a dark horse because they have just returned to this competition but with their current strength Newcastle cannot be underestimated.

Newcastle's performance since Eddie Howe took over the managerial position of the club has significantly improved and despite the very difficult group they've found themselves in, I'm very much optimistic that the club can make it out of the group stages of this season's UEFA Champions League competition.
Regardless of the fact that this will be their first appearance in the competition since the 2002/03 season, Newcastle I think have the ability to qualify ahead of Borussia Dortmund and Italian club AC Milan. Paris Saint Germaine will definitely make it to the next round and are the favourites to win that group.

Feels like Haaland will be able to score 100 goals in the group stages with that draw. The fact that latest champions has one of the weakest groups does make it fun to watch those games. I am not sure if we will even be allowed to bet on their games, like that one team with difficult to say name, whoever they are, City may end up beating them with like 5+ goals if they want to, we all know they probably won't because they try to score and get ahead with a few goals and then lay back, but they are capable of it at least.

One thing I need to make sure is that we should not be really considering this situation to be any different, it is really not that big of a deal, I will just bet on over/under for their games instead.

Man City has an easy group and i think they will pass it easily. Haaland has a perfect chance to score against some really weak teams. I think he might score 8+ goals in the group faze. This might be really his year to score 15+ goals at least in the champions league this year.

@Oneandpure while many people will not consider Newcastle to win and progress ahead I feel that they can stun everyone and beat these favourites because they’re playing very well and underestimating them will be a big mistake. Furthermore PSG isn’t ready yet as a team and Dortmund have also shown at times to choke and lose hence Newcastle must fancy their chances of qualifying from this group.

The Newcastle team is pretty stable. Overall performance of their team is very good. But experienced and star players are very few in the team. The team needed experienced players in the squad to do well in a competitive platform like the Champions League. However, Newcastle coach Eddie Howe is an excellent coach. He is very hardworking and tactful. And so I think the Newcastle team will be able to maintain the consistency of performance in the Champions League. and qualify for the knockout round.

This is certainly a group of Death and is out of reach I would say. Both Dortmund and Newcastle you think will go out are not small teams. In fact base on the current squad I rate the four clubs on similar criteria. Dortmund without Halaand and Sancho last season almost won the Bundesliga and were eliminated at the 16s, so which such momentum they will certainly cause the other clubs problem. Newcastle are not just new comers in fact they have a champions league history better than PSG. Last season they performed well and came on to qualify with almost every one doubting them. This season they have added exciting players and do not look like just spectators here. Ac Milan were not the team they were last season after their elimination from the semifinals but have also sign players. PSG on the other hand are the team in crisis after there star players left and virtually all their players are new, the leader of this pack that could cause problems would have been Mbappe and it doesn’t seem that he has all his heart at the club currently.

I am obviously not happy aboit this draw due to some certain things. I am a fan of England teams and I have been having a great affection for Newcastle but I am just surprised to see a deadly fixture for them.
PSG
Dortmund
AC Millan
Newcastle
This is not a good draw for a club that first appeared in the Champions League recently. This means that Newcastle might not qualify from the group stage of this year's Champions league. Just sad

It seems like Group F is the one that attracts my attention the most in this group phase, I'm not even sure which team will qualify for the next phase. AC Milan has made quite interesting progress so far, especially when they brought in new arrivals in this summer's transfer window.
As for Dortmund, this team cannot be underestimated, in fact they could have surprises. Even though in two matches in their domestic league, Dortmund did not play with their best performance.
PSG, is the most interesting part.
I want to know how Luis Enrique carries his team's squad when they play their matches in the Champions League. the reason is, their opponent is not an easy team to overthrow.
Newcastle, which is hard for us to guess. even though they have just returned to competing in this league, we cannot yet confirm how they will play their matches in this group phase. I think either way, they have a pretty good team. Let's see how they will face their opponents, and at the same time test the mentality of Eddie Howe's squad.
