If Lazio succeeds in taking advantage of Bayern Munich instability in the second leg, of course Lazio will create an unexpected surprise. But I see that Bayern Munich have managed to get through their difficult times in the Bundesliga where they have returned to winning ways. For the second leg, Bayern Munich are still very much favored because they are playing at home and also in terms of strength they are still very favorites to beat Lazio.
Even though they only scored 1 goal, the point is that at least Lazio has more capital than Bayern Munich in the second leg. But unfortunately, it will be held at Bayern Munich Stadium. So this is quite advantageous for Bayern over Lazio, right.

Well, I also think Bayern have learned enough from their mistakes yesterday and they won't just let this match go. Even though they are currently behind on aggregate, for some reason I am still quite confident that in the second leg, Bayern can turn things around to be superior. This is not their first time to be in this such situation.

Zidane is still possible to approach, but I'm not sure he would accept the project. We may need to wait until the end of the season for Bayern Munich to find a new coach, for now there are too many rumors that are unlikely to be true.

Apart from the issue of the new coach, I tend to want to discuss Bayern Munich's chances in the second leg of this season. Lazio will most likely have difficulty maintaining their winning aggregate because they are playing away match. I'm sure Tuchel will do everything to turn things around and take the lead in his home game, he has to make the most of everything he has for win the match.

It's just that if Lazio plays defensively well enough then they have a chance to end the match with a draw and they will qualify for the next round. But Harry Kane will definitely work hard to score goals and bring Bayern Munich through to the next round. There must be no reason to make things difficult for Bayern Munich in the second leg because I checked that all the main players are ready to be in the starting eleven so Tuchel has a big opportunity to take advantage of the second leg to get their revenge.

the difference in quality of the teams is too high, too much difference
obviously it`s an almost obvious match but you should never underestimate your opponent

football is a strange game, a game also based on pride and emotions, so a spark can ignite, rare but it happens. i bet on Manchester of course
I'm not underestimating the opponent but we know how Manchester City is performing at the moment so in terms of statistics it is also different from Copenhagen it will be an absolute victory or even losing 1-0 it is not a problem for Manchester but I don't think they will lose.

Football games are not strange but it is based on the quality of players because we can judge for ourselves which team is better will win, maybe we will know there.

In football luck is a little but skill is what is needed, you also believe not Manchester City will win? Obviously if you choose a single bet it will be small odds so parlay will be better with the odds you have.

After the Manchester Derby, Mancity probably will rest some of their key players against København due the crucial match against Liverpool 3 days after this match.
Mancity maybe only win with 1 goal difference, I dont think we will see a spectacular result in this 1st leg.
There is a 2nd leg if Mancity fail to win against København and with the Mancity 1st team, Im sure they able to win at København home.
But if they lose against Liverpool =  it will be very hard for them to win the Premier League this season.

I think it's already the second leg. the first leg Manchester City played away to København's homeground and Manchester City won 3-1. with that victory when playing at home Manchester City will be lighter when fighting the København team. so they can concentrate more on the competition in the premiere league which is very tight.

If Man City loses to Liverpool, it won't be that big of a difference in points. There are still other matches to chase points. Man City wants to repeat their success last season. I don't think there will be any reason to rest their best squad. at least they will ensure superiority and will replace players to maintain the squad's fitness.
Man City's next few matches will be quite important. they feel they are facing quite strong teams. they have to prepare many fighting strategies.
Every match is crucial in this title race especially the ones they are playing against each other, the match against themselves are the most decisive ones so any club that loses will be short in point. Of course there are other matches that they can chase points from but remember as the league draws to an end every team seem to become serious and teams in the bottom table become difficult to win because they are all fighting for points in order to escape relegation.

I don’t think there would be any need to rest players because players are all trained for such situations of match congestion so they should be able withstand the stress. Liverpool are currently experiencing injury crisis at the moment so it should be easy for Manchester City to capitalize on this opportunity now that most of their key players would not be available. The team now relies on their academy players to survive, the boys have been doing well but they are no match for Manchester City.

Actually I see Kloop also suitable if he goes to Bayern Munich. But his statement about his future seems to have been answered. So that seems unlikely to happen. Instead of Xabi I think Zidane could be another alternative. Because I read he is ready to work again at the moment.
Bayern Munich's chances in the UCL are still very big. They only lost 0-1 to Lazio in leg 1. Furthermore, they have many opportunities because of leg 2 in Germany. I am very sure they are able to qualify for the last 8.

Barcelona is currently having issues but still they are having enough quality which will help them to defeat Napoli at home after having draw in away game in Italy where they were doing good but Osimhen goal bring Napoli to the level, but now things are completely under their control, and they are surely having good team which will give them good result and also chance for the having spot into last eight.

Xavi which is already announces about his departure from Barcelona at the end of this season trying his best for having good result and his team is already having good performance in last few games with Napoli is also not on positive change after having worst season, but now it's too late for them because most chances they are going to be ended on their poor run and having no chance for anything good at coming season if they are not going to settle their issues.

Some levels of confusion with the last part of your text. Napoli are quite improving right now, did you see the game they played yesterday? Victor Oshime was able to score three goals during the game yesterday.
For your information, they're improving and the same goes with Napoli after they've finally sacked three coaches from when they started the league Competitions.
Xavi Hernandez would or could either be there also as tue manager of the club club Barcelona come next season.

They have issues with them finances and now the midfielder's because they're also part of the squad who are meant to shield up the defense.
Since the African Cup of Nations Competitions, Osimhen has returned to score good number of goals.

Of course, Klopp is very capable to improve Bayern Munich. He is a successful coach both in Dortmund and Liverpool. He must have a chance to success in Bayern Munich as well. However, he already stated to not manage any team next season, so it is clear that he won't be the coach of Bayern Munich. Xabi Alonso and Zinedine Zidane are also not easy to sign because there are many top teams interested to sign them. I think we can say them as the alternatives, Xabi Alonso and Zinedine Zidane must be on the top priority if Bayern Munich is serious to sign one of them.

The chance isn't very big, remember that Lazio is leading with the aggregate 1-0. However, since Bayern Munich has a quality squad, we can believe that they still have the chance to win the match in Leg 2 and qualify for the next round. Moreover, the next match will be in Allianz Arena (Bayern home), they must have the advantage for the next match.

I really understand that Porto's defense is very strong. At least Mikel Arteta can find a gap to score a goal in the second leg to advance to the next round. Even though Porto is in third place in the Portuguese League, that cannot be a benchmark for measuring the strength of a club.  However, here you can see or find out who will be lucky in the second leg, hopefully Mikel Arteta can find Porto's weak points so they can win or turn things around.
Now things are not easy for the Arsenal in this second leg game because they are surely now on back-foot, and they have to give their best for the chance of going into next round which could be not easy as we have Porto into first leg surely now Mikel Arteta need to be more aggressive and better because if they fail this could be big upset for them while they are already having result like this in last season when they lost against another Portuguese side in Europa League so here we can expect another backlash like this.

Even mostly are feeling Arsenal are better and solid but still on match-day things can take turn and Porto can create big trouble for them in London with we know Mikel Arteta were overconfidence, but now he is surely understand ground realities and will not allow them to have another setback for the Gunners.

Lazio's defence played very well in that match, but it's still amazing that Bayern didn't make a single shot on goal for the whole match, and even earned a suspension. In the return match I still think they have a better chance of winning, despite the fact that they are erratic in terms of their results this season
Bayern Munich was very far from what was expected and only through the second leg were they able to produce a decent result later. There is still confidence that Bayern Munich will not give up and they don't need to be confused considering the aggregate difference is very thin. Bayern Munich only needs to pressure Lazio at home and Harry Kane is relied on to open the goals for Bayern Munich.

What Bayern Munich is experiencing this season is related to Tuchel's coaching because everyone can probably compare Bayern Munich's performance last season with the performance shown by Bayern Munich this season. So Bayern Munich has the possibility of not getting any big trophies this season and also including small trophies in their own local league such as the DFL Super Cup. This is certainly very sad for Bayern Munich because previously Bayern Munich was always a candidate to win, both in the Champions League and in the Bundesliga.
Actually I see Kloop also suitable if he goes to Bayern Munich. But his statement about his future seems to have been answered. So that seems unlikely to happen. Instead of Xabi I think Zidane could be another alternative. Because I read he is ready to work again at the moment.

I knew that Manchester City would advance to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, and we all know that Copenhagen will not be difficult for Manchester City to win against. Playing Manchester City to win against Copenhagen will be a small odd, but if you want to increase Manchester City's odds against Copenhagen, you can play Manchester City to win and over 3.5 goals or Manchester City to win Copenhagen in the first half.

the difference in quality of the teams is too high, too much difference
obviously it`s an almost obvious match but you should never underestimate your opponent

football is a strange game, a game also based on pride and emotions, so a spark can ignite, rare but it happens. i bet on Manchester of course

Manchester City have won with a big score of 3-1 in the first leg, moreover in the second leg Manchester City will play at home so of course there is no chance for Copenhagen to be able to turn things around. There is no good scenario to be able to make Copenhagen win, because basically Copenhagen is at a different level with Manchester City. Therefore, even though maybe in the second leg Manchester City will only play the second tier player but yes, I am sure Manchester City will still qualify for the quarter-finals. Because anyway, even if for example Manchester City lose by only 1 goal but of course Manchester City will still qualify.

Therefore, there is no good chance for Copenhagen and yes, unless Manchester City still has a big ambition to keep winning at home then the score will be big. But yes, because considering Manchester City also still have to keep the squad well because the competition in the race for the Premier League title is still very tight. So it is possible, that Pep Guardiola will also make rotations in the match against Copenhagen later, because only by maintaining the aggregate score basically Manchester City will still qualify.
This is the UEFA Champions League, and Pep Guardiola will want to name a strong squad that will easily beat Copenhagen at Etihad Stadium. If Copenhagen can get an away goal against Manchester City in their Uefa Champions League round of 16 match, it will be a great achievement for them because that is the best thing they can achieve when they visit Manchester City.

Barcelona certainly won't waste this opportunity to play at home, it will certainly be an interesting match, because in the domestic league Napoli doesn't look good so Barcelona can take advantage of their current declining performance, Xavi must be able to take advantage of that by putting pressure on his players to being able to play optimally and win the match in the second leg, at least a narrow win is more than enough to qualify for the next round.

I am confident that Barcelona can qualify for the next round. It seems they will overcome Napoli at home of course with a different strategy, learning from the failure in the first leg where Barcelona was held to a draw by Napoli, it is clear that this is something that is not profitable, I think Xavi has prepared a strategy which is good for facing Napoli in the second leg match later, my prediction is that Barcelona will probably win 3 - 1 against Napoli in the second leg match later and they will succeed in qualifying for the next round because they are quite worthy of advancing compared to Napoli.

Yeah right. And it would be very funny if someone blamed Harry Kane. Even though he is the current top scorer in the Bundesliga. He has scored 27 goals this season with Bayern in the Bundesliga.

And Bayern's problems have actually been going on since last season, even before Harry Kane arrived and even before Tuchel arrived. Last season, Bayern almost failed to win the Bundesliga title because just look at the points they had at the end of the season. Well it's the same point as Dortmund.
I agree with you. It would be strange if what is happening to Bayern Munich right now is Kane's fault. Kane is the Bundesliga's top scorer, he is very productive in scoring goals, but 27 goals can be said to be a failure. If Kane doesn't win his first Bundesliga and UCL league, it's because Thomas Tuchel let him down.

For me, Kane has only been at Bayern Munich for one season. For example, if Munich failed in all competitions this season, Harry Kene is still the best striker. Bayern Munich's setback this season is purely Tuchel's fault. In my opinion, he doesn't seem to have the passion to coach Bayern Munich. Next season I'm happy he's stepping down and I hope Nagelsman returns to coach Bayern Munich, it would be even better if Flick returned.

It would indeed be extraordinary if City could repeat last season's achievements. the first leg against Copenhagen was in their favor. and the second leg they will still be favorites to win.
while in the Premier League, City competes with Liverpool and Arsenal this season. Man United will not stand in City's way this season, and Liverpool are perhaps the strongest contenders. but we remember the events of last season when Arsenal almost won the trophy but lost good momentum at the end of the season. and maybe it will happen again and this time the victim will be Liverpool.
Winning The first leg against Copenhagen shouldn't be see as a big deal because Manchester city is most definitely on a different level from Copenhagen so I'm very much optimistic about the fact thst they are most definitely not going to let Copenhagen get anything from that game not with this their present form. Most likely this may be how far Copenhagen may likely be able to go this season in the champions league, Manchester city is definitely going to attempt defending the trophy they won last season and apart form Real Madrid I'm in some form of doubts if any team were going to stop them from been able to defend the title again this season. Real Madrid is currently in a very good form as Manchester city and hopefully they will meet at the finals of the champions league this season.

Liverpools participation in the champions is most certain for next season as they are most definitely nit going to have a reason not qualify even if they happen nor to win the premier league title they will not fall to the point they will not be able to secure a ticket to the champions league next season and I doubt if Liverpool will turn out victims of circumstances like Arsenal last season.

Bayern Munich management is currently trying to find a replacement for a new coach, but several big names are still hesitant to join even though several of them have been contacted and offered proposals. Not only Bayern Munich, but Liverpool and Barcelona are also negotiating with several coaches so that some of them will consider the existing proposals.

As for their chances in the Champions League, I think it's still reasonable to expect them to progress to the quarter-finals. Lazio leads 0-1 on aggregate, that's not much at all but Lazio has a chance to keep it. Bayern Munich have home advantage in the second leg, if they can take advantage of that then Lazio should not have a high chance of winning the match or even maintaining the aggregate.

If Xavi has said that he will resign if Barcelona win the Champions League title this season, then it is certain that Xavi is going to be the manager of Barcelona. Not to say that Xavi is bad as a manager, if this manager had financial freedom he might have been able to fulfill Barcelona's dream of winning the Champions League title for a long time. The teams that are currently in the Champions League competition are very tough and it is even more difficult for Barcelona to win the Champions League title by beating those tough teams. Teams like Real Madrid Manchester City and Bayern Munich will do well this season and I think any of these three teams will win the Champions League title.
It can be understood that Madrid, Man City and Bayern Munchen are the favorite teams to have the potential to win the Champions League this season, it's just that Bayern is currently in a bit of doubt about being the best in Europe. In my opinion, Madrid and Man City deserve to be placed on equal footing, and Bayern is below these two teams, unless Bayer shows a different performance between the Bundesliga and the Champions League. Bayern condition for qualifying is now a challenge, because Lazio won 1-0 in the first leg yesterday, Tuchel team must work hard to turn things around if they want to win the UCL trophy. However, that doesn't mean I underestimate Bayern, it's just that City and Madrid consistency this season is better than Bayern. Therefore, we cannot underestimate the chances of other dark horse teams, each contestant has a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals, depending on how they manage their team.

Regarding Barcelona, it seems that Xavi will be able to bring his fleet through to the next round, because they will act as hosts. In the first leg they drew 1-1 against Napoli, I think Xavi can beat Napoli in the second round. The financial crisis means that Xavi cannot have his dream squad, because their finances are unable to recruit good players, and currently the Blaugrana chances of advancing to the final will be very small, unless the favorite team experiences a setback.
When Bayern Munich joined Hary Kene, we compared this team to the strongest team but recently this team failed to perform as we expected which is why we consider this team slightly below Real Madrid and Manchester City for the Champions League. Right now, if I were to rank the top three teams for the Champions League, Real Madrid would come first, Manchester City second and Bayern Munich third. Barcelona may go to the quarter-finals but from the quarter-finals this team will go to the semi-finals.

Barcelona and Napoli drew 1-1 in the first leg of the Super Sixteen, so Barcelona are likely to win against the team at home. If Barcelona can win against this team, Barcelona can go to the next round. Even if Barcelona can advance to the next round, it will not be an easy task for them to reach the semi-finals.

Losing 1-0 to Porto in the first leg was really unfortunate for Arsenal as they played quite overwhelmingly but did not score a goal. Porto is always an unpleasant opponent in the UCL, but looking back at the teams entering the qualifying round, this is a much easier opponent for them. Hopefully the Emirates home field will help Arsenal play more confidently and win against Porto in the second leg.
The 1-0 defeat against Porto was not complicated for Arsenal, even though Porto has always been a bad club, that doesn't mean they are difficult to beat. We know that Porto always beat big clubs in the last 16 of the Champions League, but we have to know that the second leg will be  played at Arsenal which is expected to be beneficial for Arsenal in getting a goal. At least a 2-0 result is enough to advance Arsenal to the next round, at least to avoid a draw or keep Porto from scoring goals above 2, because that will eliminate Arsenal in the number of away goals.  and aggregate goals.
When Arsenal traveled to Portugal to play against Porto in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie, I was expecting Mikel Arteta's men to at least get a draw in that game before waiting for the second leg that'll be played at the Emirates stadium but surprisingly to me, Arsenal didn't just fail to get a draw in that game but also failed to find the back of the net and that I think has put their qualification to the next round of the competition on hang because the Porto team is very good in their defense line and are very capable of protecting the first one goal lead from the first leg of the tie. Porto are currently in the third position of the  Portuguese league table behind league leaders and current champions Benfica and second placed Sporting Lisbon but that doesn't suggest that they can't be able to eliminate Arsenal in the second leg even when bookmakers are still backing the English club to defeat Porto and go through.

For Arsenal to reach the next round of the UEFA Champions League, their attacking line must be on their best when the host the Portuguese club for the second leg of the tie. Breaking a Porto defense that's led by the legendary Pepe who we all know is a rockie and very solid at the back will be very difficult of you ask me. However, Arsenal will play the second leg of that game at home in front of their home fans and that I think will give them all the needed support to be at their best and better the result of Porto in the first leg and reach the quarter finals of the competition.

Remember how Arsenal recovered from their group stage loss to Lens? They won 6-0 at the Emirates after losing 2-1. This is the spirit I expect versus Porto. Though Porto won the first leg, Arsenal dominated ball possession, especially in the first half with 71%. This suggests that Arteta can control the game, and with the home advantage, they'll come out firing from the start. With the betting odds substantially favoring Arsenal, its impossible not to be positive about our chances.

No, it wont be easy. Porto leads by a goal and just needs a draw to advance, which puts them in a good place. But we both know football is unpredictable. Arsenal's recent form gives me hope they can win despite Porto's excellent defense. As a Gunner, Im excited to watch how Arteta will break Porto's defense.

Manchester City losing to Liverpool will not make them give up on the chase for the league title yet, they still have some number of matches left that can still determine who will become the winner of the premier league this season, the league will still be widely open for any of them including Arsenal. Liverpool are currently facing injury challenges just like Manchester City had to face in the past but being managed by a good coach can still make them prevail against Manchester City.

The race for the title contender is always vigorous and every team always happen to be at their best even when their key players are not around. I see a competitive match here and nothing less and I expect both of the teams to use their best players in this match for those of them that are not out injured.

Klopp's agent said plans for a year-long holiday have not changed and 100% will not change. And we know that Tuchel will leave in the summer. It turns out that in order for Klopp to end up in Bayern, the next coach after Tuchel must also fail. Theoretically this is possible (Bayern lost all their luck lol), but it is unlikely given the fact that in the summer they will hire someone from the top (possibly Zidane, perhaps Xabi).
As for the chances in the Champions League, they are great against Lazio, Bayern is a big favorite before the return game, but in general the bookmakers have lowered Bayern's rating and now they are ranked worse as title contenders than Arsenal (now Bayern is in 4th place).

It was only the Copenhagen and Manchester City match that played over 2.5 goals in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg. There will be more of over 2.5 goals in this second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 because big clubs will be playing from home, and they will easily score many goals since they are at home.
Big teams that play at home during the second leg of the Champions League do have a greater chance of scoring more goals. But big teams who won by a few goals in the first leg also don't need to score more goals if they are able to secure themselves to qualify for the next round of the Champions League. Because there are still many rounds that the big teams have to go through with bigger challenges in the next round, so any team must also be able to protect their key players so that they don't get injured early.
I agree that home team does have some sort of advantage, but the first game results have even bigger advantage. If you won the first game, then you could do a park the bus tactic and put like 6 defenders in there, and 2 midfielders, and just 2 wing/striker type of players, that should be more than enough in most cases.

This is why we end up seeing 5-3-2 most commonly on the second leg of these knock out stage games and nowhere else, because the first leg winners just want to do fine. Plus, it is a system that works perfectly with most common tactics of today with just one change, you take out one defender and put one striker in and suddenly you have your old regular system back as well, this makes things a lot more easier for teams.
