Till the game is played and over, I don't want to express any form of certainties in any team just yet because I believe they are most likely going to be surprised as in football its always happening that way but the n there are some constance that stance usually especially with certain teams where they do make sure to maintain a certain record they have kept over the years a d that has turned out a reputation for them.
No problem if you want to predict the result of the match, or you believe in one of the finalists. It is normal that people consider some factors to guess how the final match will be. We have the data of the previous matches of both teams in UCL. We even have the data of head to head of Real Madrid and Dortmund. We also can see it clearly about the quality of the squads of both teams. So, it is fine if someone wants to express anything or wants to predicts the match.

I wouldn't actually be expecting a surprise in the finals because I believe Madrid is just too experienced for any of such form of surprise to happen to them, I know it's possible as there have been the likes of such happen this season but I think it has been enough for Madrid to learn to the point of allowing another team get ahead of them even after knowing all about this, they are definitely going to put in place everything that will go against such surprises and ensuring they don't get to experience one till the end of the game and eventually get to save their reputation in the champions league.
I agree that Real Madrid is a team which is very experienced in UCL final. Comparing with any other teams, Real Madrid even more often gives us a surprise in UCL. So, if we expect the surprise from Dortmund, it seems like a small chance. But whatever happening in the past, it can't determine the result of the next match. It only can be a consideration of the possibility on the next match.

Dortmund aswell will be in their best preparation to making sure they are ready to be able to utilize to the maximum any opportunity that comes their way in course of that game of which I doubt they are going to let go without getting to properly utilizing the to get as much as they can get from the champions league finals this season because it's definitely going to be an historic one for both teams
Both Real Madrid and Dortmund are preparing well for the final match. If we consider from this aspect, both teams won't have a big different of the opportunity. However, sometimes the mentality which can have a big role when the match begins. Which teams that have a better mentality to deal with a pressure in the final match, they will have a bigger chance to win. This should have by Real Madrid, they have many times to play in UCL final. So in theory they should have a better mentality.

That might be true, but do you realize that Dortmund has now proven a couple of times that they can beat top teams? With some luck and on a perfect day I think they can beat Real Madrid. Just see how they managed to stop Mbappe from scoring two games in a row. I guess there is hardly a harder challenge than that. If they can stop Mbappe, they can also stop players like Vinicius Junior. And in a final I think everything is different anyway. Every player reaches new heights and there are so many small details that can be decisive. If Real Madrid doesn't score way too early in the game, then chances are good for Dortmund to achieve something great

When 2 teams go to the final it means they are the best team among the other teams and basically both teams are at the same level, the only difference is experience. Indeed, based on the squad, Real Madrid looks better, but there is no guarantee that Real Madrid will definitely win, the Europa League final is an example when a strong team like Leverkusen is defeated so the same thing could happen in the Champions League, right?

There are reasons why Real Madrid is the bookmakers favorite club to win the UEFA Champions League title this season and almost everyone who knows about the history of both clubs in the competition will agree to the fact that Real Madrid will always be the favorite team to win a final ahead of Borussia Dortmund. Like you said, Marco Reus who will be playing his last game for Borussia Dortmund in that game will do everything possible to try get his hands on club football's most prestigious trophy but I don't think his wishes will come to past in that game.
Real Madrid legend like Toni Kroos will also be playing his last club football game in that game and as a Real Madrid fan that I'm, I can authoritatively tell you that the Real Madrid players will do everything possible to help Kroos win that particular trophy in his last game at the club.
Real Madrid is undoubtedly a better team than Dortmund in every metric. They are also the most popular team in the world with the biggest fanbase worldwide. This fact is expected by bookmakers to attract many bettors to put their bets on Real Madrid. There is no reason for bookmakers not to put Real Madrid as favorite to win the Champions League trophy.

Dortmund may be underdog in this game, but their chance to win the final is still there. They have won one Champions league in 1997 by also being underdog to Juventus. The captain, Marco Reus, will put his best effort on his last game for Dortmund to win the most prestigious trophy for his boyhood club. The game will be a climax of this season football, it's expected to be an intense and attractive game that will lure many emotions.

Real Madrid are favourites, for all bookmakers they will be the next winners of this Champions league, but who knows? Maybe Tedic will surprise us again and Marko Rois can finally lift the coveted trophy that eluded him 10 years ago in the final against Bayern Munich. Mine are fantasies but they might come true and I hope so

I don't doubt that Real Madrid is the best team for the Champions League, but it gets monotonous after a while, they always win! However, it would be nice if Borussia Dortmund would win it this year, and as they have beaten stronger teams in this Champions League they could do it again in the final. It's a hope, but who knows? It might come true

I want to believe Borussia dortmund are relishing their chances against Real Madrid and prepare for make an upset; one that will shake up European football season

Can dortmund make the dream come true? Or would Carlo ancelotti boys get the treble ?

Real Madrid should win this particular game, this particular season with these squads 999 out of 1000 times, if it's in the Champions League. If Dortmund were to snag a win here, I'd be surprised!

Lol, surprised to see you posting here , Dear Hamphuz. Real Madrid should have the win no doubts but they have to thread with so much caution but do not show respect to Borrussia Dortmund while attacking. They should make sure they take good use of the little chances they have. It'll be a goal goal game I mean, both sides scoring more like that Juventus and Real Madrid finals. I'm hoping to see Toni Kroos and Nacho Fernandez get a perfect goodbye completely with the win on Saturday night

What I'm not happy about is Carlo Ancellotti 's decision to change goalkeepers.

I feel like Ukrainian Lunin Andriy should have been the best option for the finals because he has fought hard for this and should be rewarded to be number one for that game.
Could the reason for his drop be because of experience in the Champions League Competition finals? Hopefully they win though.

Even the bookmakers are tipping Madrid for the win, on Duelbits Madrid has just 1.62 odd compare to Dortmund 5 odd, even a draw isn’t seen as a realistic chance in this game. Anybody going for a Dortmund is just doing it for gambling sake and not related to the football both teams play.
Let's  just say luck could favour Grin
Even with luck it my still be hard o defeat realmadrid especially in finals, not that they are good in strategiesing  their game play only but also good in fast game playing.
Most crucial games like this, realmadrid  are not always after possession at all  although  they were never after possession before but the level  is always different in games like this , they are always after securing goals and there's one thing about  them, they never give up even at the last seconds unlike psg who easily lose hope when they are one goal down and that was what made them won Bayern...
Winning  is already on higher scale for realmadrid, although  I do believe in luck Grin that 5 odds will go along way for bets  Cheesy .
Realmadrid will definitely crush Dortmund on comparison  Smiley

I think this will be the case. This was also the case in the PSG match played in Paris, and Dortmund passed the elimination thanks to the posts. PSG had too many balls returning from the post. If something similar happens for Real Madrid, why shouldn't Dortmund beat them? Borussia Dortmund is strong enough to play at the top level. I'm sure Terzic will manage to adapt his students in the best possible way. Also, as a coach, I am sure that he will take charge of bigger teams in the coming years.
This is why I'm always of the opinion that in football anything can happen and as such so no team shouldn't be seen to be too sure is most definitely going to win any game because things as this can happen and the tem may loose not because they weren't playing well but because of the uncertainties that arises which is beyond their control and will deny them of the victory in the game which would have gotten them to the next stage of the game

Dortmund may get lucky and it may get to shock almost everyone who will be witnessing the game that day so I wouldn't want to underestimate Dortmund as they aren't really a bad team such that if opportunities come their way they wouldn't be ab to really get to utilize it to their advantage, Madrid is a team that I know will be definitely not want to make any mistake and will be careful enough to making sure they are able to get pass this stage with the victory they need to be able to get the trophy as aswell maintain their records in the champions league which they have had over a long time where they have not lost a single champion league finals.

So much have been said about the finals between Madrid and Dortmund which has already raised so much expectations and probably pressure on the team which may actually have an effect on their performance so I personally think it's better they just be allowed to perform in their best and eventually what ever the results is the best team goes home with the trophy.

Real's advantage is not so great that any result in this game will be anything special. And by the way, if you compare it with comebacks in the playoffs when after the first game the underdog team reverses the result, then the comparison will definitely be in favor of two-game confrontations.
And about the unexpected: Atalanta's victory, United's victory... perhaps that's enough  Grin

I don’t understand the advantage but if we look at it categorically using every available stats I don’t think Dortmund holds any advantage In this game, they will definitely come out in high spirit to play but mate compare the caliber of both players. Real Madrid is definitely a force to reckon with in the champions league and Dortmund definitely doesn’t stands a chance.

To me Atlanta’s victory wasn’t as surprising as Manchester United and Also wouldn’t if Dortmund pulls out one. Atlanta were definitely up there with Bayer Leverkusen too. They eliminated power horses like Liverpool and sporting, Leverkusen didn’t have such opponents en route to the Final

PSG and Madrid's attacking patterns are similar but they also have different characteristics.

Madrid to date have been more inclined to direct passes especially when there is Kroos on the pitch they will emphasize long balls that spoil their strikers. But if Madrid's midfielders are Camavinga, Modric or Valverde then it is certain that they will play a tactical game where the attack pattern will rely on the speed of the players.
This needs to be considered by Dortmund but the problem is that they also cannot do a defensive and attacking scheme because it will definitely be read by Madrid, which we know that they are one of the clubs that specializes in fast counterattacks embedded in their name so this method will not work for Madrid.

Dortmund also have some fast players but that I think is a little difficult because for now only strong determination can make Dortmund win from Madrid because seeing from the current situation the difference in the probability of Dortmund and Madrid is very large and Madrid is the favorite in this final match.

I am not sure if managers will have as much impact on a finals game as people think. Obviously which eleven you put out is the most important one, and the substutitons at the right time is also important, and tactics are very important too. But when you reach to UCL finals, most of these are already decided beforehand, you know what you are going to do in what situation and even the opponent knows this, and this is true for both clubs as well.

I think it is more important that the quality difference between the teams and we all know that Real Madrid has a lot better players on their roster than Dortmund has, which is why I do not think that there will be a solution Dortmund could have against Real Madrid from their manager.

It’s the champions league and more than Real Madrid whom has won the trophy severally, Dortmund wants it more. I’ll like to see them play like they want it and I’ve got reasons to believe they are not going to disappoint me. Real Madrid remains the favorites to win and the only way Dortmund can pose any significant threat is flaying an attacking game with Real Madrid. It’s how Manchester almost got to win them and we saw Real Madrid being defensive in hope for a penalty shootout.
Get to that point and the game is pretty much a 50:50 chance where the best goalkeeper can help save the day and decide the win.

Surely Borussia Dortmund struggled much more than Real Madrid to qualify for this Champions League final, I don't think anyone would have expected Borussia Dortmund to fight so hard and get access to the final, for me it was a real surprise, I hope the fairytale continues, because it is true that Real Madrid is strong and has many Champions Leagues, but it is also true that it is getting tired of seeing them win always and only them.  Grin

Real Madrid is simply the best team for the Champions League and that's why they are the absolute favorites for the title every year. A lot of unexpected things would have to happen for Dortmund to see them as winners, but nobody expected Leverkusen to lose in the EL either and Atalanta still managed it, so why shouldn't Dortmund also not manage it?

Terzic has long shown his ambition, the guy is only 41 years old and he is already playing in the Champions League final, this is in any case a huge achievement and a plus for his experience. Another question is that Ancelotti has much more experience and will have a frankly stronger team, so it will be very difficult for Terzic to beat such an experienced coach. The first thing Terzic needs to think about is a solid defense, because Real will attack a lot, and Dortmund will have to rely on counterattacks, at least that’s how I see this final.

Real Madrid is known for attacking very well especially when they need to score to advance to a new round or to win a trophy. Will Dortmund be able to absorb all the pressures that will be coming from Real Madrid at all? It’s going to be very hard for them but since they’re known to have a strong defence too, maybe they can be able to contain it to some level of degree till the match ends and then rely more on counterattacks to have an edge over Real Madrid. And if they are able to utilize one of those chances, they should be ready for more pressure from Real Madrid. I am sure they most have known how Real Madrid plays and they should have a tactics that will suit them better in that match with the coach they have now. The match still remains in favour of Real Madrid until proven otherwise in the course of the match.

Indeed in this case we must consider all the possibilities that occur but indeed when talking about probabilities then everything will be the same where surely many people will agree that Madrid will win in the match even though it is possible for Dortmund to provide resistance and it is also possible to surprise to win but the chances are only small when compared to Madrid at this time.

The Champions League is different from the Europa League where sometimes the results in matches sometimes cannot be predicted well especially for the final because after all, the Champions League seems to be more predictable and in the last few finals it is also actually seen when who is the favorite then he is likely to win .
Even for now although we cannot underestimate Dortmund in the match, especially since this is a final, but still the one who has the probability and most likely champion is Madrid now .

I agree with you, I don't think we see any something different from what is suppose to be the result of the match. Real Madrid should be able to win Dortmund, and we have seen that in their preparation towards the finals. If you observed in their last two domestic games, it was a draw because the players are not taking those matches serious anymore.

So instead of them playing with seriousness, they are playing with ease, and their second choice players are the ones Ancelotti is using to start the match, and brings in his first choice close to the last quarter of the match to keep them fit and free from fatigue. So I know what Ancelotti can do and I am not sure he will lose this trophy to Dortmund.
The Champions League final between Madrid versus Dortmund is the most eagerly awaited match at the moment, because almost all European domestic competitions have ended, and all eyes are now focused on the Champions League final. Apart from that, the preparations of the two clubs are interesting to watch, especially if you want to bet on one of them winning. Madrid clearly has the status of a team that is more favored to win the Champions League trophy this season than Dortmund, but this does not mean that Dortmund does not have the opportunity to create a surprise. Both teams certainly have the same chance of beating each other, but there are many reasons why Madrid seems more dominant and has the potential to emerge as the winner.

In terms of squad depth, player mentality and reputation of both teams, Madrid looks superior, and Dortmund needs a miracle to beat Madrid. Apart from that, Madrid will now fully focus on the Champions League because they have finished all their matches in La Liga, this will give Madrid the opportunity to make preparations. Personally, I think Madrid will win easily, although we know that the final match will still be difficult for Madrid too. On the other hand, the Final match will be Kroos last match, because the player has said he will retire.

Nobody saw Atalanta defeat Leverkusen or United defeat City. Makes you rethink all you know about football. You betting on Dortmund to win everything? Yes, I understand. It's a long shot, but Real Madrid's defense isn't unbeatable without Tchouameni in midfield. Dortmund has youthful vigor and hunger. This underdog surge could carry them to the trophy. Sports have had stranger events, right? Defiance has been the theme this year. Not unreasonable to imagine Dortmund could do it. It may be the biggest Champions League upset. You must believe
