This is a different matter, moreover the underdog was Atalanta and they pulled a big shocker to the world, given that Bayern Leverkusen was a giant Slayer. Dortmund is the clear underdog here, and we want the underdog to win. Even if eventually real Madrid manage to win people won't feel that very bad because it is what has been expected to play out, even though many people are supporting Dortmund to win, our minds are not completely accepting that, somehow in between we know too well that real Madrid has the higher possibility to win the final. What about the people who are confident about the unbeaten Leverkusen seems impossible when it's the final but it's true, everything is possible on the pitch and we don't put any weight on Real Madrid beating Dortmund, I don't know because Real Madrid are too strong that's what we think now.

People betting on Dortmund may want to go against the grain or they may be true fans. It's normal for anyone to do it because with high odds it's usually tempting but when they lose they start to feel because it's natural that the opponent is Real Madrid, that's a fact.

I don't want to draw any more conclusions because I'm overconfident in Real Madrid even though it seems everything is possible, let us not want to see the final surprised again, but this match must be interesting not to be rich Leverkusen.

In this champions league finals, anyone you come across clamouring for Dortmund to win the game with full confidence is just doing that and expecting luck to come shine on them to win the trophy, if not for that reason, it is very clear that Real Madrid will be the winner of this year’s champions league finals too. If it was with another different team stronger than Dortmund, the case would have been different and the odds of the game will also speak well for what the expected outcome of the game will be. The Europa final result seems to surprise people because majority expected bayern Leverkusen to win the match but unfortunately, they caused their downfall. The match was very predictable but the couch error in players selection led to their defeat which is ended their unbeaten run. Perhaps, the couch underrated Atalanta but they proved themselves to be a dedicated team by taking advantage of their chances to leave bayern Leverkusen in a shock.  I'm not a seer but I don't think there's much to talk about on this champions league final, these teams are incomparable in every aspect we use to rate a team such as experience, players and winning mentality. Unless football showcase what it knows how to do best, Dortmund can not in anyway win over Real madrid. If Madrid can play as a king that they are and not underrate Dortmund, I must congratulate them in advance because they are winning the UCL again this season.

The 2 clubs that have reached the final are indeed the best clubs among the others, but in my opinion they are at different levels even though they are currently in the same final. We can see the track record of both of them when they advanced to the final. Borussia Dortmund was clearly lucky because they played against clubs that are no more difficult than Madrid, I mean Borussia Dortmund is not facing strong UCL candidates such as Man City and Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund is facing clubs that are not strong candidates such as PSV, Atletico Madrid and PSG while Madrid itself is facing strong candidates in the UCL like Man City and Bayern Munich, it is clear that Madrid has a different level of play. But when the club reaches the final, they will both definitely show their best performance.

I get that we are in the era of "anything seems possible" for a lot of people now, and I bet that there will be a lot of people who will put up some money on this, which is fine and understandable.

But, I do not see them getting a win at all, it is not going to be possible and we are going to end up with a Real Madrid win probably. The likely result of Real Madrid winning is not a joke, it is not even like fifty fifty situation, we are seeing them be the high favourites and I think it will happen. If people want to bet on Dortmund, then let them do whatever they want maybe they will be right, I am not going to do it.

The bookmakers do not agree with you, the odds for Real's victory are 1.71 and for Dortmund's victory 5.00, so it is very difficult to call the chances equal. Dortmund was able to withstand the not so strong attack of PSG, but Real looks very impressive this season, I can’t believe that Dortmund will be able to keep their goal withuot goals. In my opinion, the interpretation of the games between Real and City is incorrect. In the first game, City were simply lucky with long-range shots (what value do they have if you take the xgoal indicator), and in the second game they were lucky to get back after a ricochet. Hell nobody was expecting that at all and Leipzig scored the equalizer away from home and had 20-11 shots! It was close to 50:50 ball possession. That's a good example where nobody thought it could go like that and Leipzig would have no chance at all.

I stand by my word that Dortmund should definitely not do some stupid mistake early in the game, like a dumb crossball at their own box or so. If they can play with highest concentration, this is going to be a great final for all football fans around the world. I am just sometimes a bit sceptical that Hummels will mess up a tackling and cause a penalty and in a worst case get a red card. That would be game over.

The picture tells us everything. Public has been favoring real madrid to win the game against dortmund. I take that picture from UCL's site. It's based on public's opinion.

The team that successfully advances to the final round is the best team that has successfully defeated its previous opponent. But here Real Madrid managed to get rid of one of the favorites to win, namely Manchester City. This makes me choose Real Madrid as a favorite on final night. Apart from that, they are also the most successful team in the UCL. Real Madrid is also very solid and they have a winning mentality. Many people think, that what Atalanta experienced will not be the same as Dortmund. If Atalanta comes not as the favorite team in the UEL, they can win the title. Meanwhile, Dortmund met a strong Spanish team and became the team with the most UCL titles. Ancelotti, with his experience as a coach who successfully won the UCL title, has the opportunity to added his sucessful story to his career, with additional UCL title.

But, is there a small chance that Dortmund can win, right. Of course, minute by minute both of them have a 50:50 chance before a goal is scored. That's when the winning percentage will be for the team that manages to score a goal and protect its goal from being conceded. Before it happens, Dortmund will try to create at least one goal to lead the match and bring more confidence to win the title.

Finals are crazy. Whatever happens, it could be Manchester United beating City or Atalanta. There's no question that Dortmund has some powerful weapons. They have a good chance of pulling off an upset. Ignore that, though. Reasonably, Real Madrid is the favorite. They are on fire with experience and skill. Whichever way they play, that prize is theirs. But they shouldn't be careless around Dortmund. You need to be ready to fight and accept their attack. Whoever wants it more that day wins. And Real Madrid wants to win another title. Dortmund wants to make history. That last game is going to be exciting. Looking forward to seeing it!

Because for domestic competitions they don't need to waste energy on things that are not really necessary because after all, with the current conditions, we must already know that Madrid is very comfortable with the La Liga trophy and is at the top so they don't need to push too hard just for 3 points that don't really mean much even though it's very good if they can win but in the end the competition that has ended does not need to be forced anymore and they only have to focus on the goals they really want to achieve in the Champions League final.

I personally prefer to see the final match between Madrid and Dortmund will end in a draw in normal time of the match, so indeed the determination of the winning team may occur in extra time 2x15 minutes, so that indeed a team that does have an unyielding spirit and of course is able to maintain their stamina will be able to win the Champions League this season be it Madrid or Dortmund.
