Is betting 150k FUN on Arsenal tonight a smart bet? Considering the shape they are in atm, and that roles are reversed as far as Porto goes, I'd say it's a done deal

I am curious, how good and great about Porto's defense at this moment or in this season because, in reality, Porto can still concede in the group phase and also, Porto can still concede when playing against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group phase. After all, if for example Porto only relies on defense but if for example Arsenal will continue to attack then yes, in the end Porto will concede too. Since the beginning of this year the Gunners have been very much flexible with the ball and their style of play towards goal has been wonderful, I'd give it to Arteta on how he has transformed the players and I expect more from them. The champions league has a spirit of it's own and you can see the worse team to be very strong but as for this game tonight I expect Arsenal to come all out like this is the last game in this competition.
Porto might be good in defense but the Gunners are going to break the defense line of the home team, they might be difficult at half time but I believe what we saw during the weekend between Arsenal against Burnley might come to play tonight, not the goals but that sharp play of the Gunners, things will be easy for Arsenal and I don't see them playing a draw, a 1-3 in favor of the EPL side.

I think the opposite way for Arsenal. I believe they could win this game even with two goals difference regardless of the fact that they are playing away.
The performance shown by Arsenal in the latest games are quite good and Arteta should manage to not only win but score as many goals as possible.

I find Napoli and Barcelona match harder since both teams aren't in their good form and missing many points in their respective leagues. I think this game might end with a draw or Barcelona will win with a goal difference?

I think Arsenal will struggle to beat FC Porto at the stadium of Estadio do Dragao today even though the players of Arsenal are currently looking to be in their best form. The defense of FC Porto are great when they are playing at their home stadium but their offense and ability to score goals are not that ideal this season and I guess this 1st leg match might ends up with a draw between these two teams.

I don't understand why PSV were favourites to win the game yesterday. Dortmund are playing against the strongest clubs in the Bundesliga and PSV just don't have the same competition as Dortmund. In the case of Lazio, PSV were lucky to score a penalty. That's the only thing that saved them from defeat. In the return game they will have no chance to get into the 1/4.

I don't know why you think City cannot win back to back EPL titles, i mean, there is no complacency in the team at all, and Pep always gets his players fired up to win more trophies, notwithstanding how many trophies they have won in the past. Looking at all the teams that are in the CL right now, i think City have to be the favorites imo, they are stronger than all the teams and it would be so difficult to beat them in a two leg fixture. If City don't face Real Madrid until the final, then my prediction would be a City v Madrid final, and it would be a joy to watch.

Barcelona might be in a had position,  having issues  leaks and all that but when it comes to the Champions League Competition you have to understand that they're big dogs and have that upper hand with form and with whatever means they'd want to use to win. It'd obviously a win or draw in favor of Barcelona.

This should be the third time this season  they'd be sacking a manager in charge of the club, I wonder if they'd have a quick impact with those who have been appointed by the management right before  this clash against Barcelona.
Barcelona had a poor defence and defensive midfielder but the attacker's have done well in spite of all the challenges faced in this trying times.

Inter barely beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 with a second-half goal. Atletico Madrid still has a chance to qualify the round. PSV drew 1-1 with Dortmund at home. Actually, PSV played well, but their quality was not enough. Dortmund has better quality players. Dortmund have an advantage because they have gotten an away goal which keeps them ahead of PsV especially. I think these both games will be concluded in the second leg.

Too many people are not focusing on the mainstream teams like bayern, real madrid and manchester city while there was a club potentially to be the biggest threat for all of them, namely intermilan. I rarely saw people talked about this club but it brings my attention caused by intermilan gone to the final last season.
It's quite strange even bookies were not also putting it as one of favorite team to win the competition. Im only wondering why that happens? It brings my attention caused by intermilan looked like very underrated team right now.

Bayern is recently sacking its coach and the club needs time to adapt with the new coach while real madrid was also missing bellingham but this has very big chance to get into at least semi final. Manchester city has haaland and debruyne back again in the squad.
So, i will not count bayern munich as this club still performs so poorly. I would rather than pick intermilan to be in the same level as madrid and city compared to the bayern munich.

The money used to buy kane mean nothing for the club. he has been impressing many people on his debut but this is not straight with his performance till this time. Kane is rarely scoring and i don 't know why he was losing his instinct to score.

How bad is defending this Atletico Madrid, better than past year but still worse then the mighty Atletico who reach the Champions League finals, in every attack of the inter we can see they can make the goal and that is because the defense of Atletico Madrid was a mess, anyways for me they are still alive and with only one goal gap they can overpass this quaily in the home game.

I don't think the old rule is effective any more. If the game happen to end 2:1 in the second leg, the game will go into extra time to actually determine the winner. Inter has to do whatever they can not to lose that game. They just have to avoid defeat in Madrid for them to qualify. As things stands Inter had the upper hand in that game. A draw will be okay for them. But I will advise them not to go to Madrid with the mentality of getting a draw. They should go there and play to win the game.

Real Madrid are always the favorites to win any champions league season. Regardless of what analyst may predict. Especially man city being the favorites to win this season. Football is not won based on analysis. We all watched Bayern lose to lazio in the ucl. Man city are not capable of winning the champions league back to back. They would lose to weaker team in this champions league campaign

This is an unsatisfactory result for PSV, because they played at home and failed to win the match and it is clear that even though Borussia Dortmund could not win, they will play at home in their second meeting, which means they will be more favored because they will play in front of the fans. their own supporters.

In my opinion, the match was balanced, so this draw is a fair result for the two clubs playing, even though there was disappointment within the hosts. The opportunities they created in this match were not much different, only PSV had several advantages. I gave bigger odds on Borussia Dortmund, but it's not too big either, I think 60% for Borussia Dortmund and 40% for PSV are fair odds.

With the current performance of both clubs  Arsenal are in the best position to win but we shouldn't be too confident because FC Porto have undergo all the stages before and the know what to do to escape, checking FC Porto home game they don't joke with it even though Barcelona defeated them home and away still arsenal really have to push hard to get their winnings easily, it has been long that arsenal perform like this in Champions league, with their performance I have much confidence that they will go a long way to win their first champions league trophy.

Judging from the match statistics, Inter Milan goalkeeper Yann Sommer was not under much pressure in the 90 minutes of the match because Atletico Madrid failed to create a shot on target. Quite drastically different from the performance of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak who had to make 4 crucial saves because Inter Milan were able to display dominance and successfully created 5 shot opportunities on target and scored one goal.

There is no doubt about Borussia Dortmund strength, and they surely can go into next round with their performance at home in second leg match even I am also feeling this penalty was not right, but now all ended with draw and good for the German giant to improve their performance in coming weeks for having good chance for the next round qualification PSV also done good, but they need more experience and quality performance for this level.

Overall both teams done good job in this game and having equal chances but still I have feeling Borussia Dortmund can do better, but they are having some problems in last few weeks which are not allowing them for having enough goals but still their chances are good for having good end in both leagues.

I do agree that Inter has to be playing with 100%, but I believe that as long as they play with their 100% then they should be able to get the win, it doesn't really look like they would lose. I know that Inter is a great team and they are looking quite strong these days, but they need to keep this up.

The win over ATM was definitely a great thing for them, they must be quite happy about it, but it will be an away game so they need to be very careful with what they are doing, otherwise it will not be all that simple for them. The best way to go about this would be making sure that they are getting a good return, otherwise it will not make any sense at all, they can't just go out and play all defensive full game.
