Guys, for god sake, the only thing in favor of Borussia Dortmund is only one and is..... its only ONE game, and they need to be in his best day and full of good luck and Real Madrid in their worst day ever, to stand a chance.

Asides of that the chances of Borusia Drotmund are sadly very low, i also think they spend most of their luck on the previous phase.

I've always emphasizes that the Dortmund side are too dangerous to be seen as underdogs, just like the game of Atalanta Vs Bayern Leverkusen, we already thought that Leverkusen will trash Atalanta, not until the surprising thing happened. So I'm of the opinion that people should look out for Dortmund, as they have same potentials as Atalanta.
Madrid are the favourite to win no doubt, but we are analysing the possible outcome, which is even if Madrid wins, it not going to be rollercoaster victory, considering the trajectory at which Dortmund have been winning their champions League games and their fierce defensive pattern.
Yes. That's right, Dortmund cannot be underestimated because Dortmund's performance is in very good condition in the Champions League, not only that, they also have a very fast attack strategy to outwit opponents and of course Real Madrid must always be wary of Dortmund's attacks. Dortmund does have great potential like Atalanta and they have a history of strong performance and solid defensive abilities. This could be a key factor against a big team like Real Madrid. Even though Madrid may be favourites, there is no guarantee they will win easily. So the point is for all football fans to realize that in football there are always surprises, because we cannot know what the situation and conditions will be like on the field when the match starts.
With the defeat suffered by Bayer Leverkusen, in my opinion it will make Real Madrid much more alert to the possibilities that they can experience if they do not prepare for the final match perfectly, because after all, luck and goddess fortuna can favor one of the teams when the match takes place, so the point is Ancelotti should not underestimate any small thing to miss so that they don't get bad luck in the Champions League final this season.

Everything can happen on the pitch and we can't predict that something will happen to one of the teams, such as getting a final penalty box kick or anything that can be an advantage for one team to have a greater chance of winning.

I don't confuse Kroos' decision to retire with the chance of who will win in the final.
Many people predict that Real Madrid will win and win the 15th UEFA Champions League trophy in history. But I have a different feeling about the results of this season's Champions League final where Real Madrid has a chance of failing to win the title against Dortmund.
By deciding to retire after this season, after Euro 2024 and announce it publicly before the season ending, Kroos will have more motivation to contribute his best in very last matches in his player career.

I am surprised with his decision because he is still young enough while modern players can play till 38 or 40 years old like Messi, Ronaldo, Pepe, Modric and with his skills, Kroos can have a long career too. On the other hand, another view, I am not surprised because Kroos already won many titles in his career with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid and also won World Cup title with Germany. What he does not win is Euro with Germany and he will have a last chance to get it this summer when Euro 2024 will be hosted in his home country.
Do we know if he is retiring or if he is leaving Dortmund. I kept checking the news all the time and most of them talks about him leaving, but some of them talks about him retiring, which is a little confusing because I can see Kroos is retiring and we know that, it is already established fact but Reus doesn't have that result in certain. Either he is going to leave Dortmund and play somewhere else or he is going to just retire completely which would be also understandable.

Kroos doesn't really make sense to me, it makes sense that he is leaving Madrid, but dude is only 34 years old and he is still a great player for most teams in the world, I feel like he could still play for at least another three seasons in a lower level club for sure.

As long as Real Madrid is still coached by Ancelotti, I'm fine with any opponents they face. I don't underestimate Dortmund, but based on the various metrics if madrid will be very beneficials in the upcoming game compared to the dortmund. To be honest, I'm not sure if Real Madrid can beat Dortmund. Ancellotti has a specialization to win UCL and he will use his skill and knowledge to get another UCL trophy soon. Madrid has more than enough resdources to beat dortmund without going through penalty.

Terzic is most likely making his UCL final debut. I still expect Real Madrid to win the game with a decent score. I doubt Dortmund can compete with Real Madrid.

There is also a significant factor such as Bellingham. He can also tell Ancellotti about Dortmund's main weakness. Real Madrid will likely win the upcoming game against Dortmund.

I think all the fans of both Real and Dortmund are hoping for a large number of goals in the final; everyone is already tired of finals with a score of 1-0. In such games there is no drama and emotion as in games where the team first loses and then equalizes the score/comes ahead. But there is a high probability that Real will control the entire game and even if the final score is 3-1 in favor of Real, it will become so from 3-0 and not from 1-1.

It is also generally discussed in European leagues that Leverkusen is the favorite candidate before the match starts, but Atalanta is able to make a surprise. Real Madrid does have everything and of course they will be the favorites, but if Dortmund can play neatly and solidly it doesn't require the possibility that they will experience the same thing. I hope Dortmund don't defend completely because if they do that Real Madrid will be very free to play the ball in the central area.

Dortmund must also take the initiative to attack so that Real Madrid's defense becomes busier and this step will make the match run with high tension. Emotional control also needs to be applied because usually Real Madrid will disturb opposing players with tricks like this.
Reflecting on how Dortmund beat PSG in the semifinals, it is possible that they will also repeat the same thing in the final against Real Madrid. It's true that Dortmund are not favorites in the final, but saying they can't win the game is like forgetting something that could happen.

Real Madrid is superior in many ways, including squad depth and experience, but Dortmund, who have big ambitions to achieve success in the final, will certainly work hard and make their dreams come true. I was impressed by Dortmund's performance as they emerged from a tough group stage as group winners. Dortmund beat PSV in the round of 16, they beat Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals, then beat PSG in the semifinals, everything was done on the basis of hard work and struggle.
I still believe on Borussia Dortmund in this final game to take the victory from Real Madrid, because they proven their strength in the semi-final to drop PSG from the tournament despite the squads PSG use in that game, which Borussia Dortmund coach will still like to use all those squads to face Real Madrid.

I guess you watch what happened to unbearable team in the UEFA Europa league final game, you will know that anything can happen in any tournaments which something like that will happen for Real Madrid to find it difficult to secure a single goal from this final game.

Borussia Dortmund players will going to make Real Madrid defenders to make some mistakes in this final game that will make them to achieve opportunity to secure a goal that will make them to lift the trophy.

Yes, Madrid would be foolish to underestimate Dortmund. Look at Atalanta and Leverkusen - that should wake up any final favorite. I think Madrid will be on edge now. They know Dortmund cant be underestimated with the Champions League trophy at stake. Dortmund is no pushover even if they play well. This crew is hungry for success and has been waiting for a title opportunity for almost a decade. They'll leave everything on the pitch, and Madrid could be in trouble if they were not careful. Finals like this are exceptional because it comes down to who wants it more on the day.
Real Madrid is a team that is quite serious about facing its opponents in the Champions League so Real Madrid will not take opponents like Dortmund lightly. Because Real Madrid is a pretty smart team and they certainly know that getting to the Champions League final always requires a very hard struggle and Dortmund has also gone through this this season in the Champions League. So of course it would be very stupid and funny if Real Madrid underestimated Dortmund in the final match because it was a deciding match for a team that played more seriously.

Madrid have advantage with faster counter attack and a lot of goals opportunities scoring by Madrid from faster build up, but difference games play if Dortmund since the first minutes make full defensive and huge pressure when Real Madrid controlling ball possession.
Many time make Madrid tactician frustrated behind huge pressure from opponent team and most of defense players build up to attacking line position give space for Dortmund to make faster counter attack.

I think Dortmund better with defense tactician against Real Madrid in the final match and make Madrid's players face frustrated how to score goal, Dortmund can take benefit with faster counter attack after some Madrid's players leaving their defense position and right moment for scoring goals.
Madrid can indeed be said to have balance on every line they have, the attack and defense possessed by Madrid certainly cannot be doubted, besides that the counterattack possessed by Madrid will of course be very dangerous and it is appropriate be ware for Edin Terzic, but when you say that Dortmund will be able to make it difficult for Madrid if they play total defense of course you are wrong,  I think you should look back at Bayern Munich defeat to Madrid in the semi-finals, Bayern Munich defeat at that time was precisely due to Tuchel mistake that lasted after they were ahead, so I think it was important for Dortmund to be able to slow down Madrid in order to keep the tempo of the game in that game, but still occasionally launch quick attacks to surprise the Madrid defense later.

I don't think Edin Terzic will instruct his players to defend, because by giving possession to Madrid is of course the same as giving Madrid the opportunity to find gaps in Dortmund defense to score, Dortmund game scheme when facing Atletico and also beating PSG will certainly be more effective to be able to make it difficult for Madrid in my opinion, because it seems that the scheme and formation of 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 used by Edin Terzic against PSG will be able to break Ancelotti current mainstay formation which often uses a 4-3-3 formation to 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-2-2 on the condition that Dortmund is able to make Madrid slow down their tempo slightly or prevent open play from Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund eliminated its important rivals, but Real Madrid is a superior team. In their match against PSG, the balls hit the post and helped Dortmund survive. If a similar situation occurs, they can eliminate Real Madrid, but of course, such a scenario does not happen in every match. The match between Real Madrid and Dortmund will of course be a match that the whole world will follow, but I do not have any difficulty in predicting the outcome of this match. I clearly expect Real Madrid's victory.

Seriously, the Champions League final is going to be an interesting and tough one because for a club to get to the final, they shouldn’t be underestimated. The match is not just going to be an easy one for the two clubs. I know Real Madrid might end up winning the match because their performance is kind of better than Dortmund's, but we know Dortmund to have a strong defense, it’s not really going to be an easy one, and if Real Madrid end up underestimating Dortmund, which I am sure they won’t do, they might end up losing because Dortmund is a very dangerous club.

The world of football will definitely be surprised to hear and learn that Kroos has decided to retire after EURO 2024. The first thing that will surprise people is that he still hasn't lost his touch as a playmaker. His physique may have diminished due to age, but when he plays these deficiencies are not visible.
Whatever the decision, we have to accept it and there will be other players who will play a role like Kroos even though they are not 100% similar.
[/quote]
This news is very surprising, I think Kroos still wants to continue his football career until he is 38-40 years old, if he is not at a big club, at least he can move to another league such as the SPL or MLS like other legendary players Messi and Ronaldo, they are still not retired and still continuing their football career in another league but that doesn't make their name dim, but if this is Kroos' decision then we as football fans can only accept that decision.

But actually I still can't accept that decision because he is still a player that Madrid needs as a playmaker. His intelligence in giving direction makes Madrid win every opportunity. Maybe he doesn't score many goals but the assists he gives really help other players. Madrid won't. forget that and have to find a replacement for Toni Kroos for next season.

Just apart from Madrid winning it many times and of course allowing Dortmund who has just alone won the title just once in their life time which is back then since 1997, but if we are to judge from performance Madrid is to win the finals. From what I saw happened between Atalanta Vs Leverkusen in the EUROPA league final, I may have to clear my doubt and hoping that Dortmund still have a chance against Madrid. Finals like this is meant to be tough, so Madrid may find it very difficult to secure the win but even they still remain the favourites with the best possibility of winning.

Dortmund may had a chance, but with Kroos retiring as well, and Modric "probably" leaving Madrid too, I feel like we are going to see Real Madrid playing the game of their life because aside from them I think Carvajal could be the only player from the "old" guys, the whole ramos pepe ronaldo type of period that they had which won many titles and cups.

So they will want to have a good farewell to them, which would be nice to be fair and I think it's quite important to realize that we are not going to get Dortmund playing as well as Real Madrid could play. If both teams play their 100% on that game, we are going to see Real destroy Dortmund, the only hope they have would be Real Madrid playing badly compared to their normal level.

Something I know is that, Football cannot be easily predictable. A good example of all these would be the game between Bayern Leverkusen and Atalanta.
Also, Luka Modric wouldn't be leaving Real Madrid. It's concluded that Toni Kroos would be leaving right after the Euro's ahead next month but Luka Modric stays. Nacho Fernandez also should be amongst the list of players leaving the club at the end of the season and has no plans of playing for another club in Europe. He is most likely to swing over the MLS league.

Luke Modric and Dani Carvajal should probably be the next set of elders to direct this youngins.

Asides them both, Marco Reus would also be leaving Borrussia Dortmund and this should be his very last chance to win the Champions League Competition with Borrussia Dortmund.
I hope there won't be same changes we saw with who wins? I mean seeing the underdog's win while the favourite lose them chances of winning.

I know Madrid have advantage in this encounter, but I don't really know why I feel like Dortmund will really give them tough time in that game.Dortmund knows that Madrid are very good at counter attacking, and are very good at high pressing pattern,so they will try to keep their defence more solid than it used to be before.Madrid are in a very fine form entering into this game, but it will be like a bit of embarrassment if Dortmund should win that game.Madrid will play with all their key players, same as Dortmund, and that is what will make this game very interesting and tough, but I know Dortmund will give everything they have to try to win this game.I will be a bit dissappointed if Madrid flogs Dortmund.

We shouldn't compare the final Europa league with the final UCL, it will be so much different. In Europa league, Leverkusen is the favorite team but there is nothing special with Leverkusen related to the history of final Europa league in the previous seasons. Meanwhile in UCL final, Real Madrid has a fantastic history for the final UCL. Their stats look amazing, they always won the final UCL since the season 1997-1998. Although this stats or history never guarantees the win for the next UCL final, but it showed that Real Madrid is very superior when they can reach the final UCL. The mentality and consistency of Real Madrid has been proven many times. Moreover, Real Madrid current squad is surely stronger than the squad of Dortmund. This is just the additional factor to ensure Real Madrid as the favorite team in the final UCL. So, in theory, no doubt Real Madid should win against Dortmund.

However, I admit that Dortmund is possible to surprise us. It is not the first final UCL, Dortmund ever won UCL title in the season 1996-1997. Dortmund also has good players although they are not as popular as Real Madrid players. So, the final UCL probably will be a tough match, both teams must try their best and be very careful. As long as there are no red cards during the match, I'm sure it will be interesting to watch until the end of the match.

By the way, what do you mean by "rollercoaster victory"?
If you mean a big victory, it will be possible if both teams try to play offensive. But I guess both teams won't play very open, they will play quite careful to minimize the mistakes. This commonly decreases the chance of many goals.

The strategy and the composition of players will be the determinant of who will play better and who will have control over the game. However, I think there is one factor that will also be the determining point, that is the mentality of the two teams. For this matter, we all know that Real Madrid does have a winning mentality because they have often won the Champions League and have been Champions League finalists many times.
I agree with this one, but there is no guarantee that the team that controls the game can win the match. Leverkusen is superior to Atalanta, the team coached by Xabi Alonso has a very complete composition of players. The strategy he used was also able to make Leverkusen play better than Atalanta, but the use of opportunities was decisive in winning the match, Atalanta was able to take advantage of the opportunities well with three goals that managed to score against Leverkusen.
Real Madrid's position is the same as Leverkusen position in the UEL, they have everything to win the trophy, but everything Real Madrid has does not guarantee them winning the UCL trophy because Dortmund could surprise them like Atalanta did to Leverkusen.

The final match is not a round where there are weak teams between the two, they can reach this point it is definitely full of hard work and they are a great team, so no one should be underestimated, even though many may favor Madrid, never underestimate Dortmund, they can give a surprise for Madrid like Atalanta, this is where luck also works in the end result, both teams will definitely play as hard as possible so as not to lose, both teams will definitely fight to win.

Ancelotti will probably field his key players to be able to show the best performance in the final because quick goals can make opponents lose confidence, it is important to score goals early and score quickly, Ancelotti probably won't underestimate Dortmund's back line but at least he can provide confidence in the players on Madrid's front line to be able to look for gaps and score quick goals in order to reduce the opponent's confidence and ultimately be defeated. It seems that my prediction is that this match will be quite tough, but I'm sure there will only be a win by scoring just one narrow goal in the match. this UCL final. Madrid must learn from yesterday's Leverkusen and Atalanta match.

With Leverkusen's defeat in the European League final, many people are starting to think that Dortmund could beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final. However, I will not be like most people who just because of the result can change the result and of course here Real Madrid are much more experienced when compared to Leverkusen's one season.

Maybe most people believe that victory is as real for Dortmund as it was for Atalanta as an unseeded team and I don't think they should be that confident just because anything can happen. What is clear is that Dortmund also knows that Real Madrid is not a seasonal team that can only be beaten in one meeting and of course they will remain alert to Real Madrid's game, which is famous for its comebacks.
This is probably the most talked about conclusion of the day, given that Bayer Leverkusen could lose to Atalanta by 3-0 has an impact on the speculation of the Dortmund vs Real Madrid match in the final, I also increasingly think the possibility of a Dortmund win could be enlarged after the Leverkusen match which has not been defeated so far by Atalanta, We know that Leverkusen almost has the same story as Real Madrid as the winner of their domestic league, so Atalanta is not the best thing in their domestic league just like Dortmund in the Bundes league, it is precisely because of the results of the match that speculation is getting crowded and this will confuse many people, but I think Real Madrid with its experience still dominates the possibility of winning the match.
However, I feel the key to success this time comes not from a club but from a coach. We know that Italy dominated the 3 finals in this big European competition with an Italian coach. From Real Madrid there is Carlo Ancelotti, while Atalanta with Gesperini, and Fiorentina with Vincenzo Italiano. So I think this time it will really be a stage for the Italian coach in the final round.

I am not disparaging coaches from other countries, it's just that Italian coaches are famous for their extraordinary defensive strategies and they can adapt their strategies according to their opponents. During yesterday's European League final, Gesperini prioritized man to man marking and this was more of a defensive strategy and this also closed the space for Leverkusen players to control the game as usual. Well, maybe in the future Ancelotti will also use a similar strategy or even attack from the start and as I said at the beginning, the Italian coach will always prioritize adjustments to his opponent's strategy later.

For me, it is not a club that can be taken lightly, whoever the opponent will face, they have to be wary of their opponent, including Real Madrid who will face Borussia Dortmund in this final match. Real Madrid is a big club, so they should already understand things like this, namely things they shouldn't do, such as underestimating their opponents. Because Borussia Dormund is also in the final, that means they are the best club of all the clubs competing in the Champions League this season.

Borussia Dortmund will actually be happy if they are underestimated, because mentally they will have no burden, because even if they lose then the defeat will be considered something normal. So this is where they will take advantage of the opponent's negligence. Because usually if a club underestimates its opponent, the club will become more careless because they think the match is easy, and they will probably lose a lot of focus.

I am not a Barcelona fan so I choose a different view about Real Madrid's chances in the final match.

Real Madrid's game was good. Likewise with Dortmund's game. But a surprise will happen this season. When it comes to Kroos' farewell to Real Madrid, I would rather point to a good farewell for Reus.
I don't think problem for Real Madrid to win the 15th UEFA Champion League trophies in history their appearance and always success become the winner if reach the final round, Carlo Ancelotti has a lot of experienced and has bigger winning percentage ration when his team playing in the final round of Champion League success become the winner.
Its not problem for Real Madrid leaving by Toni Kroos after his decision retire from football and for last match he will shows the best perform to help Real Madrid winning the Champion League trophy.

I see Barcelona's fans expected to be Dortmund fans in the final match after last opportunity when becoming Man City or Bayern Munich fans failed because Madrid success eliminating two top teams.

I'm not a fan of any team but still, because I only see and consider the actual reality. So of course, I admit that Real Madrid still has a good chance of winning the Champions League trophy this season. I don't care about players who will retire like Kroos, and also about players who will leave at the end of this season like Reus. Because after  all, winning trophies is not just about players leaving and retiring because ofcourse, team performance will still be the main factor for the team getting good or bad results. Therefore,  because basically Real Madrid clearly has better quality, so of course Real Madrid will still have a very good chance of winning in the final match of the Champions League this season.

Borussia Dortmund will play the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid and judging by the history of both clubs in the competition as well as the records of their respective players, there's no doubt to the fact that Borussia Dortmund are the underdogs. Whenever a strong and competitive game like this is played, there's always the underdog and that's definitely the German Bundesliga club. But I understand what the point you're tryna make and I also buy to that idea of not underrating the strength and capability of the Borussia Dortmund team.
Considering how impressive the Borussia Dortmund team have been in the UEFA Champions League since the start of the season, I've always said in this thread that it'll be very unwise for Real Madrid manager or players to underrate them. The UEFA Champions League final is unarguably the biggest club football game and I don't think Carlo Ancelotti in all his experience in football will want to underestimate the ability of a club that made it to the final. I'm a Real Madrid fan and as a Real Madrid fan, it's my wish that Real Madrid defeat Borussia Dortmund in that final.
