When City played their match in the Group G phase, they got maximum points even though several players had to be absent due to injury. one of them, Kevin De Brunye, had to be in the treatment room for quite a long time. nevertheless, Pep Guardiola's squad did not experience any significant problems when playing their matches against teams in the Group G phase. now, De Brunye has returned and recovered from his injury. even though Pep didn't play him as the main starter in the match against Newcastle, De Bruyne was able to maximize his ability and stability even though he only played a short 21 minutes. In the round of 16, City will play the away match in the first leg at home to Copenhagen. in theory, City will not experience any significant problems in the next match. which means, City's probability of qualifying for the next round is quite high. Likewise with Haaland, this player from Norway is predicted to make a comeback at the end of January. Inter has the same record as Manchester City by only winning 1 title, but Real Madrid is the king. Regarding experience and title record, Barcelona is a team with a better status than Bayern Munich, Inter and Manchester City. But the problem is, Barcelona can no longer rely on much because the depth of their squad is getting weaker. Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are the 3 favorites who are likely to qualify for the final thanks to the depth of their squad and their performance this season. But before that gets real, we need to see how they fare this season in the knockout stages.

When Haaland returns to the team and can play alongside Kevin De Bruyne, it will be a scary collaboration again in Man City's attack line.
Unfortunately, Haaland reportedly suffered a more serious injury after previously trying to take part in group training. but reportedly the injury recurred and even got worse. He looks like he will enter a fairly long recovery period, even longer than the target until the end of this month.
Pep still has good players, but they have to work hard for the team so that their performance does not fall. Man City is not just Haaland, but his figure is always extraordinary for Man City's attack line.

Although there is not much change in the team, there is a significant difference in performance from Manchester City this season compared to last season. The bad part about what City going through right now is that KDB is back, and we all know how kevin plays, that dude has been awesome ever since his return, just a couple games and he is already doing things that saves them, dude is amazing and I agree that he is going to end up being even better. But that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about a missing player yet again.

They got Kevin De Bruyne back, but they are missing Haaland right now at the same time, those two were the best duo in all of football world last season, and they haven't played any games together this season so far I think, or if any, that must be before KDB got injured. So City is not even at 100% right now and will take a while, need to get Haaland back, and both those players in 100% shape.

It's quite pathetic how you forgot to mention bayern munich as one of the strong team this season. It has been doing a lot of efforts to strengthening its club like bought kane from totenham. City and real madrid are the best but bayern munich can still count on the miracle that can happen anytime.

Since Manchester City has De Bruyne back in the main squad, I am guessing that other clubs will be scared when they face Manchester City. I can imagine that when real madrid to face manchester city as its opponent when haaland wil be also be able to playing against real madrid.
This will be the most interesting match, I hope that i can see madrid to face manchester city again.

Amongst all the above mentioned four teams, Bayern Munich has the least of experiences and it's very paramount that they will most likely be the first amongst this top four to not get to the finals as Thay look very much like they will be stopped at the semi finals because they may not have the much needed experience to go beyond there.

Real Madrid and Manchester city still remains the favorite for the finals because Manchester city is definitely in the bid do defending their title this season but then real Madrid is very much will to get the title from Manchester city at almost every cost and they do have a very sounds team but I feel with the return of the injured players of Manchester city in the likes of Kevin de bruyne and probably haland who will hopefully join them before the end of the season, Manchester city may be a very big problem to real Madrid.

I still think that Manchester City isn't as strong as they played last season. No doubt that they can still world class soccer and they do, but last season they reached a peak that was so high that it felt as if they were invincible. When they played the first game against Real Madrid and tied the game 1-1 thanks to a goal of De Bruyne, they afterwards showed in the second leg that there was at least one level between them and Real Madrid. It was a 4-0 and I saw that game and to be honest, it could have ended 5-0 or 6-0 without a doubt. That was shocking to see Real Madrid get dominated like that. But I don't think it would be the same this year because Manchester City seems to be a degree weaker.

So far, this season has been very much unpredictable for most leagues, the rate of increased performances from both small and less threatening teams of before have spontaneously grown. All the European leagues are currently in a state they've not been in for a while. And as time passes we'll be seeing more changes in football.

 At first, it was just the EPL that always seemed challenging and unpredictable, now both German, Turkish, Italian and Spanish Leagues are different from the usual tempo they were known for. Inter Milan are rising, so is Leverkusen who are consistently threatening and Girona who are rubbing shoulders with the likes of Madrid and Barcelona. Let's anticipate how the remaining weeks of the season would turn out for these teams. For sure, it'll be a tough ride.

Arsenal struggled against Fulham, and they couldn't get a draw and they have the grounds to compare em still with Real Madrid. They should go see highlights of the game against Barcelona yesterday as they went ahead to win them first trophy of the season.

They don't need no overhauls, most of them players had the approval of Mikel Arteta before sliding into the squad. Elenny, and  Thomas Partey are both players that need leave though.
They need a new Central Midfielder and then a new Central Forward, the sale of either of Nketiah or Gabriel Jesus would be peng.

Indeed Arsenal have been quite silent in January transfer window. This wasn't what I expected from them especially after Arteta stated it like they would strengthen the squad with new transfers in winter.  

But I also hope to see at least one move for a specific position. I believe that it could be centre-forward position. Because I don't think either Gabriel Jesus or Eddie Nketiah is good enough these days. Arsenal would make use of a star striker or a young striker who has been shining recently - like Serhou Guirassy.    I believe that Guirassy can be much more efficient than both of those two strikers when it comes to scoring goals.

This would be a great move for success in the Champions League as well.

I agree with you. That's why I said that before the game reaches the semifinals, we still can't determine which team is the best to win the trophy. Currently we are still in the top 16 and all teams still have the potential to knock each other out. I really favor Madrid to win the Champions League trophy, especially after yesterday they were able to beat Barcelona and win the Supercoppa De Espana with a score of 4-1. Madrid is the best team in the world this season.

When in the Champions League, our discussion must also be comprehensive and look at all the clubs that have similar strengths. While I agree that Real Madrid vs Manchester City would be the ideal final, clubs like Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and others also have a chance of being in the final.

The situation that occurs now in the round of 16 to these 4 club is still the strongest probability of qualifying for the next phase considering the opponent is still below them unless there are some surprises that can occur in 2x90 minute of  match in the round of 16 but im sure they will be able to get through  this phase. 

I think the champions league is not just Real Madrid and Manchester City.
There is still Bayern Munich which is very strong. This season in the champion league in the group phase became an unbeaten team. although in the group it is also not easy because there is Manchester United too.
So a strong candidate for champion league champion this season besides Manchester City and Real Madrid, Bayern Munich is also a top tier candidate along with Real Madrid and Manchester City.

I also can't decide which one I actually predict will have the best chance of winning the title this season. Although I might hope that Inter Milan can perform as well as last season. But in my heart I honestly also feel that Inter Milan will have difficulties this time. Because Bayern and Real Madrid this season are different from their performance last season. They're good didn't mean they were strong enough to get UCL. What you mean about special ability? Arsenal didn't even have winning mentality. Look at how the club was bottling EPL and europa league last season. This club was also rarely getting trophy.
Adding the new players are still remain gambling for arsenal. Im concerning about the performance from nketiah and havertz. These guys were so bad. I don't even think kroenke will agree to spend more money to buy expensive players while the current squad never deliver.

I disagreed with it. Let's talk about the fact that how many trophies acquired by arsenal since 2021? It was always missing everything which mean arsenal was a weak team. It never won UCL too.
Logically, if arsenal was a good team and it has been winning many trophies. I would not call that a trophyless team like this as a good team. There is a better team like liverpool or manchester city who rarely bottling its performance.
