It is a big concern for Barcelona that they have quality strikers in their squad but no quality defenders in their squad. I would not say that the defender is the most important position but I would say that every position on the football field is very important for the team. If the strike position from defense is strong then that team gets maximum good performance from the players. When the transfer window was open Barcelona should have focused on strengthening the defense but they didn't focus with the defense which they can now clearly see the results of. Although this season ended badly for them, they will definitely try to strengthen their team in the next season.

Barcelona and Napoli both have equal performance but in terms of players Napoli has more quality players while Barcelona only has free players from the transfer market last season but in terms of experience of course Barcelona is much more experienced in the champions league but the problem is experience and quality players sometimes doesn't have a big impact because there are always surprises beyond our expectations.
I still believe that Barcelona must be able to get past the round of 16 but this will be a really, really tough job because against Napoli it is not easy, they have a scoring machine like Osimhen and have a pretty good defense.
I just hope that Barcelona can qualify in the first match against Napoli. I am sure that Barcelona can win, but if Barcelona loses in the first match, I have to accept that this club cannot qualify.

In my opinion, the only thing we can hope for from the Real Madrid vs Leipzig fixture is a good game, nothing else. Real Madrid are already through to the quarter-finals.

Honestly, it's words like this that I'd rather avoid when talking about some of the possibilities in the round of 16.
Indeed, in terms of conditions, Madrid certainly has a high probability of winning but saying with confidence that Madrid is in the quarter-finals even before the match has been played then I think this will backfire because you know yourself that all possibilities in the UCL can definitely happen.
Reflecting on the previous 2 seasons where a lot of people were very confident with PSG and Manchester City when against Madrid they could win but in the end Madrid won or in the previous season where unexpectedly Inter were in the final against City even though in terms of conditions and probabilities before Inter were not on the list for them to be in the final.
So with some of the situations that happened I think underestimating Leipzig will also be dangerous even though the hopes and probabilities are still owned by Madrid but of course for the match they must be serious because underestimating with the belief that they can qualify easily against Leipzig is a mistake.

I bet that they are going to lose even more players, namely Osimhen as well, so they will get even worse as well.

So, it should be important to realize what you can do with that team, and trying to win a title is not realistic for them. They should consider the situation to be a lot harder this season. A new manager all the time will not make you better, they need to find out how they can find a great manager, and just change once, not all the time.

Real Madrid will of course put up a convincing display over Leipzig and make sure the home side on their first leg match, don't score so much so to upturn their champions league prospects.
This is one tournament that they have more experience playing in and have won more trophies than other teams in comparison, so why should this RO16 match be much work for them.
Easy win for them, even if the results after 90' ends in draw.

Mazzarri is not able in building the club to play properly. I saw that there was no bounding in the club. Napoli has been showing a disappointed performance against roma and it will not stop yet. It's caused by the club is also going to face another problem if osimhen will leave from the club too.
The performance of napoli is far compared to the last season. It's hard to guess what factor that has been also making the performance is declining so hard like this time but it is not good enough to see that.

In my opinion, the only thing we can hope for from the Real Madrid vs Leipzig fixture is a good game, nothing else. Real Madrid are already through to the quarter-finals.

I know that football can be unpredictable at times, but things like this happen mostly when the bigger team is not in very hot form. Like when Ajax trashed Madrid in the UCL. Currently, Real Madrid is very good even though they don't play convincingly, they know how to win so I see this game as an easy fixture for Madrid.
We just hope Leipzig put in their all so both legs of the fixture become very interesting.

It can be concluded that this season Barcelona is not in such good condition that their own performance has also declined this season. I'm not really sure that Barcelona will last long enough in the Champions League this season and I'm even starting to doubt that Barcelona will win another trophy in their own domestic league this season.

In terms of strength, they can be quite balanced, so there is a possibility that their match will be quite fierce and both of them might even score goals against each other if the conditions of the two teams have not changed. Both teams are currently facing problems with we still have 7 weeks in this first leg match and few changes can create difference with I have feeling despite many challenges Barcelona is much better team from these two in this match and have enough chances to qualify for the next round because Napoli is having problems which can create some mess-up in this transfer window and if they lost their any good player then most chances they could be down in domestic league and their golden period is going to end for another long time.

There will be so many problems to come for barcelona soon. Im not expecting this club to survive till the next stage. Barcelona is having too many problems that is very hard to be solved. This must become the main concern by xavi as the main coach of barcelona.
Im not complaining about the way he was coaching the club but there have been many factors that were also affecting the performance from the club. Barcelona will be missing some of its key players and this is another disaster for the club.
Barcelona needs to do something to fix it.

Barcelona qualified from the group stage, in my opinion, because they were in an easy group with weak teams. Porto, who I thought would be tough for them, Barcelona defeated them in their two group stage meeting. In football, anything can happen, but all I can predict for Barcelona's next champions league their game against Napoli is that they will lose because Napoli is stronger than them even though they aren't playing well like last season With their poor performance, Barcelona will never be able to qualify through the round of 16, if they are in the same group as PSG and Dortmund, since in the group stage Barcelona have being eliminate from Champions league.

Both teams are currently facing problems with we still have 7 weeks in this first leg match and few changes can create difference with I have feeling despite many challenges Barcelona is much better team from these two in this match and have enough chances to qualify for the next round because Napoli is having problems which can create some mess-up in this transfer window and if they lost their any good player then most chances they could be down in domestic league and their golden period is going to end for another long time.

Barcelona is also in problems, but their coach Xavi is having enough sources to settle things and increase performance level which can bring better results for them in coming days, and they can go through for the top four and also having good chance for the top eight spot in this event.

So, any fans are expecting him to get at least one trophy for this season with barcelona. Unless, the fans will be blaming him if xavi will fail to do that. We do know that how barbaric the fans these days. It's not all but i have seen that a lot of fans were not listening the reason first.

One thing to note is the fact that yes a coach is paid to play a role in every team he manages but sometimes there's always a situation where the coach performs his role rightly but still the team sulks in backwardness and unending defeats. It's pretty unfair that the coach should be held accountable for all the wrongs the general team is involved in.

Every member of a ten is paid to deliver positively and so when the coach is at fault, he should be proscribed, and when the players are at fault, they also should be dissed. A coach only manages, developing the right strategies but the players are the ones on the pitch to implement the developed strategy. They all have the collective effort of performing well for the team. Either the player, or the coach or both parties can generally be the fault in every unfavorable game outcome.
