After losing against Barcelona, this made Porto have to fight even harder until the final round before they could ensure they qualified for the round of 16. However, their opponents in the remaining matches are Shakhtar, who also have 9 points. In the first round, Porto managed to beat Shakhtar with a score of 1-3 and they did it while away to Shakhtar's headquarters. This time it's Porto's turn to host Shakhtar and it looks like Porto's advantage will multiply because they get direct support from fans. I feel this will be an all-out match between the two teams and whoever loses will be eliminated and have to go down to the European league.

On paper Porto will win the battle over Shakhtar, in fact we can see and refer to these two teams both from the depth of the team and the level of their respective squads. actually, I don't underestimate Shakhtar. It's just that, in my personal version, their victory over Barcelona could be said to be luck. In the sixth matchday match, Porto will act as the host team. and as you said in this post, we both agree.

Likewise if we refer to the odds that the bookmaker gives. there is quite a significant difference, Porto with @1.49 and Shakhtar with @6.40. It seems clear, from the odds factor we can also see the comparison between these two teams. Apart from that, in the first leg meeting Shakhtar lost with a score of 1-3 at their own headquarters. So it would be very natural if Porto were given more priority in the group phase meeting later.
It's just that Porto shouldn't underestimate their opposing team because after all, Shakhtar is in fact capable of overthrowing Barcelona. So, there always has to be thorough preparation to play the deciding match later. however, it seems that this match will not be as interesting as the matches in other groups. In short, my estimate is that Porto will accompany Barcelona into the next phase.

It really annoying seeing how staggering Manchester United who were at their best during the Era of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United is doing righ now and it has become a decade of unresolved problem. The formula and tactics of Manchester United under Eric Ten Hag is not yielding any positive result and is high time the club should act and try to give another manager the opportunity to try to see if things will be put in order at United. Very annoying seeing that Man United is at the bottom of a group where Galatasaray and Copenhagen are group contenders.
Not only is it annoying, but it is also quite painful because if in their last match Manchester United is not lucky enough to win the match with Bayern Munich, then Manchester United will only struggle in the Premier League and there will be no other competition for Manchester United in Europe but only in Premier League only. But if the match between Galatasaray and Copenhagen ends in a draw and Manchester United is able to win, I think that is a pretty good day for Manchester United. But I also think that it is quite difficult to happen because Galatasaray and Copenhagen also want to take second place in group A.
It seems like there will be no end when we talk about Manchester United because it is proven that this team is the silliest in the Champions League this season. They often get the chance to win with a fairly decent goal difference but in the end they concede a goal that shouldn't have happened. This resulted in a draw to defeat and at the same time made their chances of qualifying even more impossible.

De Gea and Jadon Sancho, of course, would laugh at Ten Hag. They are very dissatisfied with coach Ten Hag. Ten Hag is under tremendous pressure this season when Man Utd is not playing well and is at the bottom of the table in the Champions League. Man Utd spent more than 217 million USD to recruit Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, Onana, and Amrabat, but none of them proved worthy of the transfer money. Are they useless, or is Ten Hag not a good manager?
Man Utd's conditions to continue are now stringent as they must win against Bayern. At the same time, we must hope that Copenhagen draws with Galatasaray. Firing Ten Hag is a matter of sooner or later, but who can shoulder this great responsibility?
In football everything is unpredictable and every season is never the same. The change of coach that Manchester United has made over the last few seasons has changed many plans within the squad and of course it was all done for the good, although I agree that some decisions were taken very hastily. Ten Hag is not the best of the several coaches who have coached Manchester United since Sergi retired, nor is Ten Hag the worst for them.

I gave him the confidence to build a better squad, but in fact he hasn't proven it perfectly. Of course it will take time and huge investment to wake up a team that has been sleeping for a long time without being able to win another Premier League title, but Manchester United are also terrible in the Champions League. The match against Bayern Munich will determine Manchester United's fate in the Champions League this season, but I would not be surprised if Manchester United had to accept defeat and fail.

Of course as a coach, he would want to build his own squad, so the dropping of De Gea, Sancho and even the issues with Ronaldo all points to the fact that, the coach wants to be in charge and those players are not within his plans.  But then the fans have not be satisfied with Ten Hag inconsistency, especially the with the Galatasaray encounter.
If Manchester united goes ahead in firing Ten Hag, then they should go for a more experience coach like the likes zinedine zidane, that's if he would want to accept the contract though, because finding a perfect person to fill the gap created by sir Ferguson hasn't been that easy all this year's.

Yes, of course FC Porto will not waste the opportunity of this final match at their own headquarters, this will determine their progress to the next round. However, FC Porto needs to be careful in maintaining the stamina of each player, and also ensure that each player does not suffer serious injuries in the first team, because their team will face another match in the near future. On the 7th, Porto will face Estoril in the Portuguese League match, on the 10th in the Local League, the next 4 days will determine FC Porto's fate in advancing to the next phase.

Porto v Shakhtar in the last week will be the final. I think Porto will win and get out of the group. Porto is at home. They'll probably win. Cancelo is seriously the most underrated centre-back of all time. He played great and they won the match with Felix. There is a big difference between the Barcelona defence last season and this season. They give a lot of positions to the opponents and they concede goals in almost every match. Even in that match, Porto had many positions. Xavi also plays a lot with the defence line, which leads to an unstable and unbalanced performance. Barça can't make it to the semi final, there is obviously a problem between the players, when individuality is at the forefront, they can't achieve something similar topsg.

United on the other hand are very much unlikely to capitalize on the setbacks and make a good result. Newcastle won't give them the leisure to do so and they themselves would lack the necessary capabilities to keep up with the pace and strength of football Newcastle would put in. Thee odds for United's victory are small and additionally, they'd be playing away from home. It's very much hard that they'd earn a good result at the end.

Manchester United are clearly poorly coached side and it is evident every time you watch them play the game of football. Lacklustre performances on the pitch; difficulty to score goals and inability to keep a lead has been the consistent factor in Ten Hag reign, will that change anytime soon ?

Manchester united needs to defeat Bayern and hope for a miracle to qualify, do you think they can achieve it ?

The match between Galatasaray and Copenhagen will be the key. Man United only has a chance to qualify if the match ends up with a draw. But if it doesn't end up with a draw, Man United has no chance to finish in 2nd place.
Man United might be able to qualify if Copenhagen draws with Galatasaray, but is it possible for Man United to beat Munich, which is said to be the strongest club in the UCL, that is clearly impossible unless Munich underestimates Man United too much and plays their second tier players to help make things easier. Man United will qualify for the next round if in the end Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw.

If I were a Man United supporter, I probably wouldn't really expect them to qualify for the next round even though they managed to win against Munich, they still have a lot to change from their squad and they also need a lot of mature strategies to make Man United ready for the UCL match, to be honest Man United is not very ready for the UCL this season. I'm sure they will fail.
I still think that Bayern may end up pulling the plug for United, I mean yes Bayern did end up with a draw against Copenhagen, and that happened right after they guaranteed their position at the top, so people seriously think that Bayern has given up, and may just play the young kids and all that, but that doesn't feel like the reality, we should be considering the situation as semi-important and it could be quite troublesome job at the end.

I feel like we need to provide something that would be quite entertaining for the viewers and make Bayern a possibility of losing, which makes all the other three teams still have a chance to be second or last, every team could be second or last, that's a real entertainment right there.

This has got to be very inaccurate if you ask me. Heo do you want to measure the both of them then?! Inter Milan got to the Champions League finals and lost with a narrow win from City. Arsenal bottled the chances they had on winning the Premier League. We all know how the Champions League is way bigger than the Premier League. You shouldn't have compared the both of them in the first place.

This season, Inter Milan are also a better team than Arsenal, with both defending and attacking, you can't compare them together. If you intend to rank em, Inter Milan should come first ahead of gunner's.
Manchester United would be hoping nobody wins the game between Galatasaray and Copenhagen so they get a win against Bayern Munich. They'll need a miracle in between.

Firstly I would say inter Milan and Arsenal both are on the same level in terms of performance this season, if Arsenal is not even better Than them. Arsenal bottling the league wasn't just to anybody but to a city side that can be considered as one of the greatest in the team ever. The only thing inter Milan has over Arsenal is the champions league final experience and a more experience players but I will consider them same. on that list I will only move Bayern Munich above the two team, last season they didn't do well because of the lack of a proper striker but this season they have the best No 9 in the world in person of Harry Kane. if Halaand could power City to the title I also believe that Kane could be that person too
I think it's just statistics, and everything could change drastically if the teams on the favorite list met earlier. This means that we will only see two teams in the final, and the others will fall in the quarter-finals or semi-finals. I agree when say that the performance of Inter Milan and Arsenal is equally good, and I am even more inclined to say that Arsenal is slightly better because we know that the competitive level of the EPL is above Serie A. However, currently the two clubs are at the top of their respective league standings.

In the top list of favorite clubs to win the UCL, Madrid and Bayern Munich really deserve to be placed above Inter or Arsenal. Moreover, we saw how both of them managed to wipe out 5 group phase matches with a win. However, apart from this, we need to wait to see how this group phase ends, and see which clubs will advance to the round of 16, and which clubs will advance to the Europa League play off.

Currently, almost everyone doubts Man United's performance. And that's a natural thing after seeing how Man United could only get a draw in the match against Galatasaray. But today Man United will have a match against Newcastle in the Premier League and next week they will face Chelsea. And I think the results of this match can give a little idea about whether we can trust Man United more or not when they face Bayern in the final match of the group stage. However, even though Man United will win in the last match against Bayern, this still cannot guarantee that Man United will qualify. Because everything also depends on the results of the Galatasaray vs Copenhagen match.

But actually it would be a shame if Man United failed in the Champions League. Because last season they had to fight very hard to get tickets to the Champions League. But in reality, maybe Man United will only stop in the group stage. And next season it is not certain that Man United will get tickets to the Champions League again. Because seeing how currently Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Man City are competing so tightly in the Premier League. But because the season is still long, Man United still has a chance in the Premier League. But in the Champions League I think I am already pessimistic about Man United's chances, which really needs a miracle.
Manchester United has caused a tonne of people to loose confidence in them, their performance isn't getting any better and it's a big challenge to them. The fact that they're gradually loosing chances and spots that they'd have ordinarily earned, it's so bad that Manchester United are by each week going from bad to worse. The game against Newcastle isn't going to be easy and it'd be dangerous to vouch for them. Newcastle even with there player setbacks, have been able to outshine teams, they've been doing excellently well and their game results are encouraging too.

Onana's mistakes put Man United at significant risk of ending up at the bottom of the table in the Champions League. Their hope seems very small. He may be preparing to be the next scapegoat after Harry Maguire. Man United pushed De Gea out the door. I know that De Gea made some mistakes last season, But he played very consistently during his time at Man United. They made a mistake when they replaced De Gea with Onana.

now De Gea must be laughing at what happened to Ten Hag's choice to push him out of the team. The next opponent is Munich, and I don't think there is any hope for United to finish in 3rd place and head to the Europa League play off round. that possibility is very small now.
I don't know what other reasons Ten Hag will come up with. what is certain is that United will probably not retain him as United's coach. and I believe his performance this season is enough reason for United to sack him.

Well I wouldn't say they are useless because sometimes they played very well and sometimes they find it difficult to perform so in other words I think coach Ten hag is not capable of handling Manchester United because Manchester United has all the quality players that can easily deliver on any match but however the strategy and patterns of Ten hag is not favourable to Manchester United.

Even most of his decisions since he joined Manchester United has not been encouraging I believe he was actually the one that made Cristiano Ronaldo very uncomfortable during his time on Manchester United that made him change his mind to play for Arabic league and also selling De Gea was actually a terrible mistake he made because he was one of the best goalkeeper for Manchester United.

Truthfully, Im not holding my breath waiting for Manchester United to do something amazing. Theres no reason to be optimistic about their chances this season based on their past performances. They've been losing to Brighton, Tottenham, and even Arsenal. Nobody is doing well, not just the big names like Bayern Munich. Honestly, they couldnt even beat Copenhagen and Galatasaray at home. Its not likely that they will quickly recover against Bayern. The club needs to rethink its approach and maybe even its leadership. We were looking for change from Ten Hag, but it hasnt happened yet, and its been months. He might give up for good on the last day of the UCL soccer games.
Football is different with high spirits, we watch games were the elite clubs get thrashed by mediocre and these events happens on daily basis. I've prepared my mind to accept defeats from any club. Manchester United was overhyped this season in their first UCL game against Bayern Munich but it turn out they couldn't maintain such level of performance against Copenhagen and Galatasaray this season. Erik Ten Hag have to make plans if he still wants to qualify for the Europa spot this season, that's the only thing they could settle for since they won't be making out to the next phase this season.

Not really, because I can't see why someone would describe Manchester United as an elite club. People tend to think about clubs as an elite club because they have done amazing things in the past, but why should Galatasaray or Copenhagen care about what Manchester United has done 20 years ago? Both these teams have been fearless and Manchester United has been innocuous for a while now. If anything, Manchester United should end this group in 4th place and neither play the EL nor the CL after the end of the year.
In the past, I might admit that Manchester United was one of the elite clubs, but in this new era, when coached by Erik Ten Hag, everything looks different and there are many problems that occur that cannot be resolved, such as several cases that have occurred and have affected player performance to decline. .
So it is very natural that a club like Galatasaray is not afraid to compete against Manchester United, even though this club is not part of the strongest club because its glory days are over and replaced by a new era, but it is a shame that Manchester United is looking for the wrong caretaker.
The bad things that have happened have been visible since last season but for some reason this coach was retained and in the end didn't have any influence so maybe to improve this club we have to replace it with a new coach or else it will always fail in the champions league.

Quite a normal assessment (pair Arsenal - Inter). Arsenal are consistently good in the Premier League and in the group stage of the Champions League Arsenal are also playing convincingly. And Inter, although playing well in Serie A, is poor in the group stage - at the moment they are losing the group to Sociedad and all their victories were won with a minimum score.
I wonder why Real are higher than City - City have virtually no weaknesses, while Real have them (at least on paper). In my opinion, the top three should look like: City, Bayern, Real Madrid.
I will not rate Inter Milan better than arsenal on their performance last season just  because they reached finals in Champions league last season. This season Inter Milan is doing different which I think arsenal is better in performance than Inter Milan if the quality of both teams should be checked.  For the performance of manchester united in the Champions league game their is no hope if they can be able to qualify for champions league.  Manchester United are in a terrible condition which their performance in champions league and Premier League is not impressive.

Bookmakers currently estimate the odds of United progressing from the group to the next round as 8.82. I can't say that this coefficient looks attractive. The point is not even in the coefficient, but in the fact that in addition to United’s “strong-willed” victory over Bayern, it is also necessary for a “chance” to work - a draw in the Copenhagen - Galatasaray game. Too many unlikely events would have to happen for United to move on.
Arsenal will put up a strong fight in the group stage and for sure other clubs in the group will also have a strong push, let's say in the group A where Bayern Munich is topping the group and Manchester United is still at the baseline in the group, so for sure let say we may be seeing the end of the since there may not be able to qualify for the next round in the champion leagues this 2023-2024.
Many of the clubs topping the groups such as Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Manchester City which are for sure in too 5 positions, but with the little discrepancy in their points based on the current goals records, but we should expect much more from Real Madrid this season since the club is winning most of their games with multiple goals scores.

Kroos played a great role in the win against Napoli, although Bellingham and Nico Paz were the stars. I can't stop praising Bellingham, he was extraordinary. When Joselu was unlucky he was able to score a goal. Although in the end Joselu scored a goal. Apart from that, Nico Pas also performed well, scoring a hard kick from quite a distance. A great win and this ensures Madrid progress to the knockout phase.
Kroos is someone who balances the midfield and that is why Ancelotti still trusts him to guide Real Madrid's young squad. Bellingham's performance is commendable because he always scores goals when Real Madrid need to win and at a very young age he has been the leader in almost every match. This was also seen when he gave support to Joselu after scoring a goal and he asked Joselu to face the fans so that he wouldn't feel down mentally. The goal scored by Joselu was also thanks to an assist from Bellingham and he is indeed a complete player.

Kroos's experience and ability to maintain midfield stability are vital components for the team's success. Bellingham's commendable performance adds an exciting dimension to Real Madrid's team. Bellingham's performance shows to his maturity on the field with fact that he consistently delivers goals, especially in crucial moment. Beyond his scoring ability and providing crucial assists, showcases a well-rounded player.

Bellingham's gesture of encouraging Joselu after scoring and ensuring he faced the fans positively reflects not only his footballing skills but also his emotional intelligence and team spirit. This kind of camaraderie is essential for a successful and cohesive squad. It seems like Real Madrid has a promising blend of experience and youthful talent, with players like Kroos and Bellingham contributing significantly to the team's dynamics. It will be interesting to see how their synergy unfolds throughout the season under Ancelotti's guidance.

It could be said that one of the reasons why Manchester United management did not fire Ten Hag was because they had not been able to find a suitable successor. It cannot be denied, De Gea and Sancho are a number of players who have laughed at United performance so far, what's worse is that Sancho only eats a blind salary without working for the team. Talking about United chances in the Champions League, the possibility of failure is greater, Ten Hag is the person who is fully responsible for the team performance. Even though he couldn't be completely blamed, fans had no choice but to push him out of Old Trafford.

The signing of new players in the transfer market did not succeed in boosting the team performance, in fact their contribution was far from expectations. Some consistently appear regularly like Onana, but also consistently make lots of mistakes, there are also those who take turns being in the treatment room because of injuries. At first glance, Ten Hag is not the right person to coach United, but on the other hand, their players are also quite selfish.

Sometimes Man United fans want to defend themselves in a subtle way and continue to maintain the "elite" nickname for a club that is currently in limbo this season. But for me personally it doesn't mean anything because what I see in the day are the results. No matter how elite a club is, if it is unable to show positive results on the field it still has no effect. Man United no longer has the elite composition of players it used to, so it's better to just get rid of the elite nickname for a while. Man United if it is an elite club why is the transfer market so stingy with budgets?

His fate in the Champions League is only 5% depending on Galasaray and Copenhagen who play this result. And for the daunting task of conquering Bayern Munich the odds on paper and on the pitch are simply impossible. It's better to slump and start admitting that the quality of your opponent's game is superior.

Yes just look at Barcelona and how they have been doing the last few years. Regardless of winning the title last season, in my opinion they were not part of the highest elite group anymore as they weren't playing this level that is unreachable for most others. They have had a good season and Real Madrid wasn't playing well in La Liga, which is why Barcelona could win the title. Now they are struggling in La Liga again and got lucky with their Champions League group, but I don't think they will be around in the semifinals of the Champions League.

Yes indeed and at least, Porto also has an unbeaten head to head record when Porto plays against Shakhtar in the Champion League. Moreover, at this moment also at least Porto is still the favorite team to win based on the current odds. With factors like that, on paper Porto should be able to beat Shakhtar in the last match of this group stage. But even so, because Porto and Shakhtar have the same points with 9 points, then of course Shakhtar will also try even better to be able to win in this match. Because anyway, if for example this match ends with a draw score, then of course Porto will still qualify because Porto wins aggressiveness of goals.
