To be honest I don't see a great future for Manchester United in the Champions League. Because there is still nothing changed in the positive direction for them. I didn't like them in any of their matches here except the one against Bayern Munich. Because when they played their first group match against Bayern Munich I thought that maybe they would perform better here.
However currently there isn't much difference between their effort here and in the English Premier League. They barely won against Copenhagen home and lost to Galatasaray which played much better than them. Manchester United would probably continue in the Europa League.

They had far superior chances and dominated the game really for 70 minutes, it was crazy to watch. But they defeated themselves because if you don't turn those opportunities into goals, it is almost inevitable to lose the game against Bayern Munich eventually. They could have had a lead of maybe 2-0 or on a lucky day 3-0. I think if they scored the first goal, Bayern Munich might have collapsed in that game.
Bayern and Galatasaray doesn't have much much record in the past, most likely none but the recent match they just played was awesome.
