Even Real Madrid the defending champions were affected by the new format. Real Madrid, who were previously very strong in the group stage, had to fight hard to qualify for the round of 16 after only being able to get 6 points from 4 matches. You are right Champions League always has surprises. Experienced team loss was unexpected and probably surprised many people who bet on game. New format has made competition even more unpredictable. Aston Villa loss to Brugge was shocking especially since Brugge is not as good as Aston Villa. Aston Villa had perfect record until Tyrone Mings made a mistake that led to a penalty. This loss will make their next game against Juventus more difficult.

I thought so too, but it's not easy to build a team in the middle of a session. He will face the best player he wants who is under contract with a defending club. Yesterday match of Bayern vs Benfica team, Bayern team won the match by scoring 1 goal. Benfica team could not score any goal in this match. Benfica team players tried hard to score but could not score any goal.  However, Benfica team could have drawn this match. The performance of the Bayern team players was really good for which Benfica team could not score any goals in this match.

Yeah too much surprise for us. All of the top teams are losing their games, except Barcelona. This season I strongly believe that Barcelona will be the champion of UEFA champions league title. Because all the top clubs have lost confidence, even Real Madrid, which is known as the King of Europe and ex-champion, played so poorly against Milan. 
 
But anyway let's see who makes a comeback and makes his bad form better. Barcelona is the only team that is playing super dominant this season. I think if they maintain with continued and consistency in the knockout stages as well, So I hope this Hansi Flick side can become champion this season.

True. The defeat of an experienced team in the Champions League was unexpected and I am sure many gamblers failed to win. This is the Champions League that always makes it interesting, always giving unexpected surprises. But to be honest, the surprises that occurred in the Champions League this season were one of the factors because of the new format.

PSG biggest dream will be to win at least 1 champions league title, they've won the league title many times so I do agree about the main focus on UCL but even with the main focus, they still haven't even proof any sign of  qualification for it ... When there was even enough resources they couldn't still make it happen, imagine having Messi, Neymar,Mbappe,Ramos, Hkimi, marquinhos, Veratti ,Kimpembe.... and still couldn't make use of the resource to archive  a sole purpose of bringing such starts together . Though I don't know the squad depth when Enrique started but as at the moment the squad is not a squad that can win Champions league

If that is what they have in mind, I won’t really blame them that much. To sign three amongst the nets players in the world at a time in the same club all was something spectacular and everyone would have expected a great outcome from that which only went on to no avail. Mbappe is a very smart and talented player when he was in PSG, he was at his peak and never would one thought that with the addition of Messi and Neymar, they can ever fail short of winning the champions league title that time. They may have changed their focus to the Ligue 1 games only because their position on the champions league standings is poor and they don’t look like a team that wants to do something about it.



You have just mentioned what Arsenal lacked and if they don’t have what they lack, there is no way they’re going to make it to the champions league title racer. Their problems are yet to be solved without a number nine that would be able to convert many chances for them. They may have experienced only one defeat in their last four games but that result is still not convincing enough to see them as a team to hope for the champions league trophy. They need to improve and win all of their remaining four games in the group stage if they want to compete for the champions league title amongst other top teams in the competition.

Thw defeats of all these top experienced champions League teams are really a surprise to most persons which is very much understandable because usually these top teams are so experienced in the champions League that ordinarily at this stage they should be Acing their games but the sad reality is far from that. As for Madrid the situation is looking even critical because away from the injury, players don't seem to understand themselves enough again and they appear to have lost their rhythm at some point.

Pep has stuck to this plan throughout his career  and it's no surprise that he became the first manager to break the €2 billion mark in transfer spending.
As for the current results, so far everything is going as I expected - the group stage is a mess that few take seriously. In fact, serious games will only begin in the playoffs.

If you look at PSG's transfer this season, PSG doesn't seem to want to rush to chase the Champions League trophy by buying star players. They seem to want to learn from other European teams by going through the process of building a basic foundation with their young players under the guidance of coach Enrique. PSG wasn’t supposed to give up in the Champions League. It has been long that they are buying bigger players to get the championship of the Champions League, but they were not able, which means they still need to put in more effort and force so that they can get their dreams. But losing games against teams that they are not supposed to be losing against is not encouraging at all. Just take a look at what happened yesterday; they were not supposed to lose the home game against Atletico Madrid, but they lost. Although they struggle to get more goals, they just keep losing opportunities, which is not encouraging at all.

Moreover, as you said, they are really trying in League 1, because they are leading the table with 26 points, which is a nice idea. At least they will be able to add more trophy to their league 1 trophies.

Arsenal are one of the favorites to progress to the last 16 of this season's Champions League, so yesterday's defeat to Inter should not affect their chances significantly. Barcelona on the other hand has increased their probability of being one of the favorite teams to qualify for the round of 16 too, of course because they are getting better with their performance so far.

So far Liverpool, Sporting, Monaco, Brest and Inter are the 5 best teams who are unbeaten in the last 4 matches in the Champions League. Manchester City lost badly to Sporting, Real Madrid also lost to Milan, as did PSG. Bayern Munich won narrowly over Benfica, that was enough to boost the motivation of the team that was destroyed by Barcelona in the previous match.

From the position they are in on the table it shows that they are serious not interested in winning anything this season, and both psg and mbappe because since mbappe left psg both have changed and they have all been struggling to even be able to score mbappe is finding it difficult because him coming to Madrid makes everyone excited but now everyone is getting irritated by what mbappe is doing after the whole praise that his talent will go well for Madrid, and if they want to buy any famous player is their money, and if it will help improve the performance of the club the their is nothing for anyone to say about their performance.

And any club that is focusing of making money and not profits then they will have challenges in there performance and that is why they have to decide the one they want if is to make profits or they want to focus on the competition because that is the most important but they don't want to even show as if they are concern about the situation. And truly they have spent money on players just to improve their own performance.

Arsenal and Manchester City are one of the best teams in Europe, yet they failed in this round. This might look bad but certainly their coaches will fix this issue and they will comeback in the remaining games.
In fact, this round has multiple bad results for other good teams, especially PSG and Real Madrid but also Leipzig, Juve and Bayer Leverkusen. No need to mention Aston Villa defeat and the silly mistake of their defender.

It is high time that sports bet gamblers should understand that there is shift in the initial arrangement of some of this clubs. Some of the top performing clubs have began to lose matches in consecutive terms. Take for example Manchester City who has lost some consecutive matches which has not happened to them since 2018.
The same scenario is sin playing at in Real Madrid which has made Ancelotti to be somehow frustrated or confused. I think they have lost some consecutive matches also.
So we should not be surprised if Arsenal is also following the same foot steps. These are top and hot teams that have been informed for the past three seasons. So before the bounce back to their good form we should try to avoid them while placing bet.

Yeah overall Arsenal played well in the Champions League, even though they lost in the last fight Arsenal performance was still pretty good and Inter Milan can be called Lucky scored one goal through a penalty. I'm sure Arsenal will go to the next round whether it is through a ticket or through a playoff, what is clear is that in my opinion the Premier League teams will take 2-3 places there Liverpool and Arsenal or Manchester City. There are only 4 matches left so that each team must continue to compete, especially the teams that lose many points in yesterday's match.

Arsenal are unlucky then they will not get points, it is Inter Milan who are fortunate or can be said to be lucky with a goal through Penalty.
What is more difficult is Inter Milan's solid defense including the goalkeeper so Arsenal are difficult to find space to score goals, in the game it is clear that it is far from Inter Milan.

This season is now very complicated for Arteta, the team lacks creativity due Odegard’s injury, and even though the defense is doing their best and the midfielders and goalkeeper as well, without creating chances, there will be a lot pressure to the defense and will result to goals because there will be mistakes and the opposition teams will also have good strategy to beat Arsenal defense.

Chelsea started well, and their performance so far in all competitions has been commendable under Enzo Maresca even though their consistency is not as expected; they are doing well in the UEFA Conference League which I think they can even win because they are the favorites to win the competition this season.

However, Arsenal’s performance in the Champions League is not that bad, they only lost to Inter Milan who played in their home stadium and players in the presence of the fans, and Arsenal even played very well just that lack of creativity caused them the defeat.
