That they got a point against Arsenal is no proof that they are now fit and ready to confront the big boys. Although it is a good start for them and only time will tell if they will be able to eliminate the Gunners before nursing the ambition of facing Real Madrid. Barcelona too is in a tight corner in the hands of Monaco that won them in the first leg so it is not still clear if they will also scale through.

After the loss against Liverpool in the Champions League, they have had two convincing wins in the Italian Seria A. They won an important game against Inter Milan and yesterday defeated Leece by their goals to nothing. Xabi Alonso boys have not drawn or lost any game in the Bundesliga, making them favourites to win the game, but we shouldn't underrate the experience of AC Milan. Paulo Fonseca has more experience and some players who have played in the UCL, so the game will be balanced. I will bet on the game to end in a draw.

Leverkusen's journey in the Champions League is not easy, 4 of the 8 matches they have will face big clubs, AC Milan, Liverpool, Inter Milan and also Atletico Madrid, even Salzburg cannot be underestimated. I think this match is a little bit difficult to predict because after all, looking at the clubs that are competing, I think we will find it difficult to see who is the most superior in statistics because they have a situation that is actually almost similar.

I think very crazy how commercial fees from UEFA after releasing new format and they earn much profitable from advertising and TV broadcast fees.

The usual format (old format) seems to favour more the bigger teams and helping them qualify to knock out stage easily, where a team that topped the group ,basically stonger teams will have to face a weaker opponent team, and it was just like their qualifications is an automatic one in this disguse.

Now, here in the new format the system has made it more difficult for every club to show their true strength and your qualifications is no longer aided by any means, now we would see the true strength of each team in the ChampionsLeague competition, we might even end up being left with discovering new stronger teams, other than what we used to have before, the whole new stuff looks interesting to me.

Adjusting the new champions league format will feel heavy because if I'm not mistaken in understanding it that almost every team will face. Storm Cerada will be faced as a problem for every team. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and other potential teams such as Milan.
They must have young players who can be deployed when facing a slightly weaker team. Are they a slightly weaker team underestimated? Of course not.

I’m surprised to see such a high odd for AC Milan. Those two teams are of the same range to me in terms of performance and I think those odds are too much given to AC Milan. Bayern Leverkusen might not have played in the champions league last season but their performance that gave them the opportunity to play in the Champions league this season is enough to give them a good odd for this match. Also, this season, their performance hasn’t been that bad to get such odd for this game. Since this is the champions league, I also hope to see a competitive match here. Anything can happen so we’ll be expecting to see something surprising out of this match.

Consistency is what matters in a club performance and Milan have being inconsistent since the beginning of the season and their performance is unpredictable in their upcoming matches. Milan was able to win Inter doesn't mean that they have what it takes to win Leverkusen.

Xabi have built Leverkusen team with a solid foundation and the players have wonderful performance in all their matches apart from the one that they lost in their domestic league.
