I agree with your words. Football is good business for a team that knows how to run it. A team that doesn't know how to run it, will keep having financial issues running the team. For Girona to choose to sell many of their players, is for the finances of the team. They buy players at low prices, build them to their taste to be better players, and release them out to the market at a high price. That's what teams do as a business every season, to make additional funds for the team
Every season, every team usually have what they wish to achieve with their players and this affects how much they sell or sign new players, for some, they would want to make more money through their players, by selling them out and for the others it's all about the trophies, the records and the prestige and so they do everything in that direction. For any team that have chosen to do theirs based on their financial situation, I believe it will be for awhile after which they would love to switch back to chasing the trophies so they could create that balance around their finances and relevance based on their achievements.
Of course, each team has different goals, as is done by Dortmund where they always sell their quality players as we saw last season. For this reason, several big teams also focus on trophies for each season so they will do anything in each transfer market to strengthen the depth of their squad. Talking about the Champions League this season, of course we will see quite strong competition from big teams such as Manchester City, Bayern Munich and also Real Madrid.

Great coaches will be able to develop stronger strategies in every match they play. One objetive for a team that has strong strength is to become champions this season. Manchester City last season they failed to win the trophy but this season I think they will be able to do their best.

Why would you think they'd be complacent after winning big in the first leg? I checked their match history and it seems like they take this competition seriously. I don't think resting key players is a bad choice and even if they trail by 3 goals in the first half doesn't mean they can't change anything by the second half. Not to mention the target is the Champions League, not some local cups that has no history at all.
Because I lost many bets because of this kind of incidents. A team win the first leg by a big goal gap and show how much they overwhelm their opponent. After that, I bet on them in the second leg by thinking they would win again. But they surprise me by getting a draw or lose because of being complacent.  Grin  Therefore I started not to place a bet in this kind of situations.

It's funny, though I am not surprised about it, because you really trust them based on their first-leg performance, which was successful. That's not bad, but you know how sports go sometimes. I think next time you will know how to analyze matches before placing the bet when it comes to something like this because during the first leg, the other team that loses the game already understands the pattern of their opponent, so you can see that they will know how to handle the second leg, and they will not feel much pressure from them. no panic, is all part of the risk that gambling carries.  Grin

Before a new season starts, the only question on everyone's mind is which team can win the Champions League this season. Many members express many kinds of comments about which team will be the champion, and in some cases, when the voting system is introduced, many teams vote for their favorite team, but at the end of the season, it can be seen that the team that has performed consistently has won the champion league title. A new season will start in a few days where like every season Real Madrid Manchester City and Bayern Munich are placed at the top of the list of favorite teams. I think everyone will agree with me because there is probably no stronger team in Europe than these three teams so any one of these three teams is going to win the Champions League title next season. If any other team comes up in your prediction then you can discuss that too.

Last season showed that Bayern can perform inconsistently. Yes, last season was a phenomenon in their league, but Bayern themselves didn't perform at their best in the Champions League either. In my opinion Bayern are starting to deflate. Let's see how they start the season, if it's obvious that they are not playing confidently, then I think it will be more than obvious

Well Mourinho is a very well known coach for park the bus, and his magic doesn't appear from the fact that he just has players play defense, that's something anyone can do, put in 3 center backs, 2 full backs, 2 defensive midfielders and you suddenly have 7 players on defense, not really that shocking, many smaller level clubs does that, and its not working against bigger clubs does it. What the magic about Mourinho is that he makes smaller teams actually think that they can attack, they make them think that its possible, and keep the ball, and try to find a score, not realizing its a trap and the moment they do that, Mourinho has incredibly fast wings usually, and just attack without even other team realizing it. Look at ball possession, he rarely has it in any team he is in, and yet he is the one who won so many cups.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid is the favorite and will remain the favorites because of the signings they made during the transfer summer which include signing one of the best player Mbappe. Madrid already have good front line which consists of Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Jamal Musiala who is coming to the attack to support the team which has been helping them in several occasions. Now that they have Mbappe, I think we can call them favorites again, but they can be defeated since their defense is not as strong other team’s defense.
I am predicting Manchester City to make it to the finals this coming season, and Arsenal will equally go far in the Champions League this season because Arteta is making all the necessary preparations to make Arsenal a great team and to win trophies.

Having one good season "could" change their entire future though, depends on how you approach it. Most of the clubs who do well for just one season, end up getting their players sold for a lot of money, seems like Girona doesn't have that, but Leverkusen could if they want to, like imagine selling Wirtz, that would eb a lot of money.

The problem with these smaller clubs becoming winners is that they do not have the finances to keep that going, so what they should do is finding ways to make more money, that's the best way to approach it. I am not saying go spend tens of millions of euros on lands and make more money from building stuff etc, like become a business.

But find ways to use that new income to make a passive income, like get some millions  coming in every year, and keep building that up. If teams end up just using the money to keep going, buy players and all that, then the yare not going to actually get anything more, it just won't work. They are not rich enough to keep it going just after one good season, title winner or not, they will have maybe one more decent season and be done. Financially, they need to find a way to turn this success into more money to keep the team going further.

Real Madrid is the most successful team in the Champions League so it is very natural that they are always the main favorites. Manchester City is in its heyday so they are also highly regarded in the Champions League. Bayern Munich is in unstable form and they are even tending to decline, so for the season I doubt them even though the chance is still there.
The Champions League is an event that is eagerly awaited, the reason is very clear that the Champions League is the biggest competition in Europe and it is also very competitive here, so everyone is waiting for every match that will be played. Currently, many teams with debutant status are in the Champions League, so we are also waiting for their appearance in the biggest competition on the blue continent.

Again and again, I actually see Bayern Munich again on the list, LOL. After all, when Bayern Munich managed to win the Bundesliga title for more than 10 consecutive seasons, in reality Bayern Munich was not an easy team to qualify for the Champions League final. Moreover, at this moment the era of Bayern Munich has ended, after last season Bayern Munich did not win any trophy because Bayern Munich lost by Bayer Leverkusen.

At least, doubts arose again because Kompany was appointed as their new coach for next season but strangely, there are still those who favor Bayern Munich as the team to win the Champions League trophy. That's very funny, because it seems like you also don't realize that Bayern Munich no longer has dominance and good performance, so basically it is difficult for Bayern Munich to win trophies. What's more, you include it in the list of favorite teams to win the Champions League trophy, although in football anything can happen, but in this case I'm sure it won't happen.

I think Fenerbahce has a chance to beat Lille... Of course Lille is not Lugano, but I would say that Fenerbahce is not lower class... Especially with the new coach... It will be interesting to see who will be stronger... But of all the other clubs only Lille is probably the most difficult...
Fenerbahce is now coached by Mourinho, of course there will be an increase in quality in his squad. Mourinho will try to do something that was never imagined before, he will make Fenerbahce succeed in beating Lille to maintain their chances of playing in the Champions League. Mourinho will immediately use an attacking strategy at the start of the match, he will direct his troops to surround Lille players in their defensive area. A first-half lead is Mourinho target and he will focus more on defense to secure the win. Lille also do not want to give up so easily, but Fenerbahce under Mourinho will continue to dominate them.

To be honest, I don't really see that here because looking at what they showed in this match we must know that they are still quite troubled even though they can win in the 2nd leg this time.
The 2-1 score they managed to get with difficulty and I think that should be more of a concern for Fenerbahce especially for the 3rd round later it can be said that their opponents are worth even better because Lille is one of the pliers club is quite good in Ligue 1 last season.

I think this will definitely be an interesting thing when Fenerbahce and Lille face each other especially this is the last phase for them to secure a slot to be in the Champions League with a new format.   Although I was not very active in the first and second rounds but I think there is no reason to miss round 3 because looking at some of the actual matches there are some clubs that are quite interesting to watch later including Fenerbahce's match against Lille and Salzburg who will play FC Twente.

In the end, Fenerbache succeeded in beating Lugano 6-4 on aggregate. The second leg was fierce where Lugano took the lead in the first half, while Fenerbache turned things around in the second half and ended the match with a score of 2-1. Next, Fenerbache will face Lille, which is basically a team that has the potential to qualify for the group stage, but Mourinho might have a good plan for that match too.

The first leg will be played in the first week of August at the Hainaut Stadium or at Lille's home ground. Fenerbache certainly doesn't have much of an advantage in the first leg because they play at their opponent's home ground, but if they want to play in the Champions League then Mourinho has to step on the gas first by winning the first leg against Lille.

Fenerbache won with a small aggregate in the second leg against Lugano and now they have to face a not easy match against Lille in the next round, Fenerbache seems to be more favored in the match considering the Mourinho factor who is their coach, but I think the Mourinho factor alone is still not enough can to beat Lille later, because Lille, who is also trained by an experienced coach, of course also has big ambitions to be able to qualify for the semi-league phase of the Champions League next season, Mourinho's attack scheme so far is not too difficult for the opposing team to calculate and in fact even though Fenerbache has qualified for the round Next, however, they actually had to fight very hard to beat Lugano in the second leg,  In my opinion, Lille squad has developed quite rapidly at the moment and even Fenerbache should be wary of Lille which last season was quite impressive in Ligue 1, Lille also will definitely start a match with a strong attack because they certainly realize that if Fenerbache manages to score first of course Mourinho will apply a bus parking defensive system in that match to secure their victory.

Sparta Prague won the first leg away. The win gave them a big advantage. In their home game, they were 4-2 winners over Shamrock to advance. Their opponents were not their opponents.
Slovan Bratislava, who drew 1-1 away from home in the first match, almost rained goals on their opponent at home. Although Bratislava didn't play a lot of ball against their opponent, they managed to get into many positions and scored 5 goals against their opponent.

Lille is much stronger than Lugano, if we compare it like this, we can conclude that Fenerbahce will be more difficult to play against the French team. There are chances, of course, Fenerbahce's game against Lugano was not very convincing, maybe the point is that the season has not yet begun, and the teams are only at the preparation stage, and by the way, Mourinho did not have enough time to prepare Fenerbahce for the Champions League qualification, but he needs to act according to the situation. I would like Fenerbahce to beat Lille, and reach the group stage, mostly because Mourinho is their coach.  Cool

Karabakh won 5-0 at home against their opponent, 7-0 on aggregate and went through. It was an easy match for the Azerbaijani side, who didn't have much difficulty against their opponent.
Apoel managed to draw 1-1 with their opponent away from home to advance. Apoel, who managed to take advantage of a one-goal win in their home game, had a hard time against their opponent as they passed the round.

Today there are 7 matches that will take place and I will not take a big risk to get high odds.
Choosing under or over for me is a very good choice even though the odds are small but I get high odds with multi bets to get odds @8
The reason I don't take a big risk is because most of the clubs that are currently appearing are not familiar to me and I only analyze independently to get satisfactory results.
All of them are safe bets except the second one where you bet under 5, usually amateur teams tend to score many goals. Let's see how it goes, the first match it was held in UE Santa Coloma's home, but they conceded 3 goals. The second match will held in FC Midtjylland's home, so it's a clear win for FC Midtjylland.

Is there anyone here who has the same fate as me? I hope not. Grin

Everything went very well when Fenerbahce managed to turn things around even though they had to concede first and I decided to bet with big odds. When other teams like Ferencvaros and SK Slovan won with convincing scores, unfortunately here APOEL had to draw and destroy all my bets.
That's really heartbreaking, fuck APOEL Nicosia, Cheesy

They're unlucky, they had 9 shots on target, but only scored one goal.
