I think Liverpool's victory in today's match was in line with what many people expected. Because even though Liverpool lost in the last match in the Premier League to Nottingham, I feel that in that match Liverpool seemed to be playing safely in preparation for playing in the UCL. Meanwhile, AC Milan, we know, started the season badly, but they did get a good win in the last match in Serie A, which made many people's hopes for Milan also quite high. But from the start I didn't doubt Liverpool. Because they have a better level of stability and consistency than AC Milan. Well, now Liverpool can win the match with a quite prominent score, namely 1-3. And it looks like AC Milan has to admit that they lost badly in this match even though they were ahead. But overall this was a good fight.
AC Milan began this match not too bad but after an equalizer from Liverpool by Konate, AC Milan completely lost control in this match. Even Mohamed Salah has a very unlucky match with two of his shots find cross bar of AC Milan, Liverpool made an impressive come back and destroyed AC Milan at San Siro stadium today.

AC Milan with this defeat, continues their bad start in this season and even Champions League this season has a new format, they need to be very careful if don't want to be disqualified after the long group phase that actually gives AC Milan more chances to fix their mistakes.

This victory tonight has proved Liverpool's another level of incredible performance this season, and extending their victory from the premier league down to the Champions League, the performance of the current Liverpool's manager is astonishing, seeing that he has only lost one of its games since the starting of the season is beginning to draw my attention with the fact he's a new manager in charge of the club.
It's a very good match of Liverpool but only one match is not enough to bring titles to Anfield. The last season is a painful lesson for Liverpool and they learned it a hard way. They are starting this season with several good performances and a lot of good signals for a successful season but they still have a long way to complete it with titles.

You shouldn’t have assumed Liverpool not to win this match because of griot last result when they played against Nottingham Forest. That was the premier league and this is the champions league, the tempo in each of the league is different and so I expect to play differently in those competitions. AC Milan may have opened the scoring today but that doesn’t mean they’re the better team or they’ll eventually be the winner at the end of the match. I like the comeback from the Liverpool team today and they’ve shown that they’re a team to be reckon on in the champions league when considering potential teams for the UCL trophy.

The Champions League match has now started and of course several teams have played the match well and optimally in their struggle to achieve victory while competing. and what I liked in the UCL match, this first match was that Real Madrid competed against VfB and I saw that Real Madrid players were very good in their cooperation and VfB also showed their greatness and VfB was also very good at blocking Real Madrid's attacks but it was a shame in the end for VfB had to swallow the bitter pill because they lost to Real Madrid with a score of 3-1.

Real Madrid winning against VfB is of course a good start for Real Madrid and of course now Real Madrid have pocketed 3 points as a result of their hard work and of course Real Madrid is definitely ready for the next match in the UCL and I'm sure in this UCL Ancelotti will definitely Very ambitious to be able to make Real Madrid win the UCL title again. Real Madrid's next match will be in the UCL against LOSC and I am sure that even though it will not be easy to beat LOSC, I am sure that Real Madrid will be able to win that match and it also seems like I want to bet on Real Madrid's victory. What do you think, who will be the winner in that match, whether LOSC or Real Madrid?

On the one hand, 9-2 is too indecent a score for such a solid tournament as the Champions League and the new format can be blamed for this. On the other hand, I remember how Barcelona lost to Bayern with a similar score of 8-2  Grin
Kane scored a poker, it's a pity that he started playing in a top club so late, otherwise his statistics in the Champions League would have been much better.
They humiliated their opponent but the performance was good enough and it’s now like the new coach have settled in properly and the players have now understood him better.

Harry Kane has been in a good form lately scoring a hattrick in his last game and now has scored 4 goals just yesterday which makes it even more dangerous for other teams, they can easily compete for a slot in a campaign or compete for the title. I am looking forward to their game with Barcelona, it will be interesting as both teams are in form right now.

Rodrigo has finanly done the work of winger and has provided an assist to Mbape, his first goal for Real Madrid but I must confess hat the absence of Carvajal and Camavinga is felt in this match, I can't wait to see Carvajal come to do his part in this team.
Rodrygo has always shown how good he is and how much he contributes to the team and he has done that again today setting up a goal for Mbappe, Madrid has not yet found their rhythm but i believe when they would definitely did more than they did last season. The addition of Mbappe will definitely help them alot but i stilll think he needs more time to adjust and understand the team better. Scroll.Bet Username:

Stuttgart can be very proud of their performance tonight, they really took the game to the defending champions and they had their moments, but it wasn't to be and Madrid took all 3 points. Mbappe got his first Champions league goal for Real Madrid, though i was not too impressed with his all round play, he does not look his sharpest yet but it is understandable, he is just coming into a new team and it'll take time to blend.

Real Madrid have started very well in this Champions League and have wide margins. Although the performance of the two teams until half time was very challenging but in the end Real Madrid succeeded in successive attacks. Stuttgart needed its own defenders in the last period and performed very poorly, and in this opportunity Real Madrid team players Mbappe, Endrick, Antonio Rudiger scored three goals and everyone's attack was the most difficult. Their performance Real Madrid fans in today's match Real Madrid team collected points and occupied the fifth place in the points table.

The score line between Bayern Munich and Zagreb is something you can only imagine to come off Bayern Munich’s good old days but, these guys replicated it with ease today. I really thought the goals would end at 5 and was curiously watching the odds as it amassed with each goal they added. It was such a specter.

Real Madrid almost made its fans look bad. Fortunately, they always have a trick for the last minute and they delivered today. Winning all 3 points after an agonizing first half draw.

Ac Milan should definitely get a win, I want to see Liverpool being hammered so hard by  Ac Milan. Already. Lol..
The problem is if we look at how AC Milan's performance in Serie A at the beginning of this season was not too smooth. They are still not that consistent. Yes, although Liverpool is also like that, especially after being defeated by a small club in the EPL. Hopefully that doesn't further their mentality.

Expecting Milan to win in the first match I think this is a difficult mission in their current condition which is still not too good in terms of consistency.
And this exactly happened
Milan was defeated by Liverpool 1 - 3
There is no need to ask why, even from the statistics, the difference in strength and consistency between AC Milan and Liverpool this time is obvious, Milan was really bad.

Exactly, but beside Mbappe, Endrick  really caught our attention.
He was a substitute player who just came on in the 80th minute. And then in the extra time in the 90th + 5th minute, he scored 1 goal for Real Madrid. He is a new player and still very young, but his mentality is already quite good.

Ac Milan is trailing Liverpool with 1 goal nil from Pulisic in 3 minutes of the game. Liverpool are playing a high-line game given their opponent that opportunity to exploit their backline. I think if Liverpool could calm down they could level the score before the match enters into the second half.

Liverpool has equalized and they are now ahead with one goal (Liverpool 2-1 AC Milan). The early goal from AC Milan led to transformation in the Liverpool team. It's funny how Liverpool defenders are registering their names on the scoresheet tonight as Van dik put them ahead of AC Milan. MO sallah would have made it three but he's been unlucky this first half finding it difficult to locate the back of the net.
It's okay to say Liverpool started off so strong and finished strong showing to the occasion when it matters most, with Konate, Fofana and Van Dijk registering their names tonight on the score sheet.
It was brilliant to watch how Liverpool later took control over proceeding from a goal to nothing to eventually winning the game by 1:3. I tell you man, this two clubs has a history as I can recall in the 2004/2005 champions league final how Liverpool came from behind in second half to equalize 3:3 in a game AC Milan was earlier having a 3:0 lead in the first half... ending in a penalty shootout in favour of Liverpool.

Great win for Liverpool tonight, it’s not easy to go to Milan and win. I was worried when we went 1-0 down early on, great response though and we could have scored more. Frustrating we played like that against a big opponent but failed to beat Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday. Can’t win every game though I guess.
Winning and losing are common, but this time I say Liverpool is back, playing very brutally and not giving up after being 1 goal behind in the early minutes but Arne Slot knows what to do to turn things around quickly and effectively. The Reds are much more dominant, ball transitions, intensity of attacks from various sides and overall Liverpool deserve to win. Milan could not rise because they only played practically relying on counterattacks while the rest was too difficult for them to match Liverpool rhythm.

You know the defeat from Nottingham Forest made Liverpool vent today Grin

If VFB Stuttgart had scored their two goals missed opportunities against Real Madrid in the first half, I believe you wouldn't be saying this. Stuttgart gave a tough and was better performed than Real Madrid in the first 25 minutes of play. Real Madrid was just lucky that the good scoring opportunity that Stuttgart all had was missed. Even though it was a 3-1 win match for Real Madrid, I wasn't that impressed with Real Madrid's performance because I know how dominating they are against their opponent when it is a home match for them. Real Madrid can't have this kind of not too good or bad performance and expect to lift the Laliga or Champions League trophy this season, when there are other tough teams who performance are superb.
Until when will you say Madrid was just lucky? Winning is winning because this result cannot be separated from teamwork and playing mentality. I admit Stuttgart played very well in the first half, but Madrid was also better in the second half. Whatever Stuttgart shows in the end, the winner is what we will see.

But it doesn't matter whether we like it or not, because for now we play to win. There is still time to correct mistakes, what is in front of our eyes is still uncertain and the Champions League competition is not as easy as you think.

Bayern Munich is not joking at all in this competition and announced they want one of the top spots since the first match where they destroyed literally Dinamo Zagreb!
We are talking about 9 goals scored including 6 in the second half. Harry Kane scored 4 goals, 3 of them from penalties which is quite strange to see that number of penalties in UEFA Champions League game.
Otherwise Real Madrid and Liverpool did their job at the opposite of Lille which failed against Sporting? Roll Eyes

When you talk about champions league royalty, you talk about Real Madrid. They know what it takes to play at the highest of levels. They are getting as much attention as they normally would be favourites in the champions league  because their performance has dropped in recent years but they are one of the best teams in Europe.
I still pity people who keep sidelining and underrating Real Madrid

Funny thing is that once they finally win the league. They start suggesting that they won it by luck. Like, how many times does Real Madrid have to be UCL Champions by luck?  Grin
They are supposed to be favorites by default because they are record holders and there are very few teams that can stop them from lifting yet again another Champion's league trophy.
I didn’t even realize that many people thought of Real Madrid as anything but good. They literally have been dominating european football and have set a glaring record of 15 wins. Maybe people who are underrating Real Madrid (though I have never seen a lot of them) are just fans of other clubs, that’s why.

Anyway Manchester City seems to be the strongest and most likely contender for the championship this season. But I still have hopes for Real Madrid as they now have Mbappé  Grin

Haha that's normal because we don't see it as a whole and we only saw teams like Real Madrid at the start of the season and compare it with competitors, of course it cannot be used as a comparison because the league or competition is still running so there are still many possibilities that could happen. In fact Real Madrid and Manchester City are the favorites to win the Champions League title.

Honestly the Madrid team hasn't been consistent since the beginning of this season and you wouldn't blame some football lovers who see them as a weaker side that manage to win a game, luck too is considered because the Madrid I know when they have that big Benz isn't the same as the Madrid we have now, let's forget about the champions league title they won and the Spanish league title too, thats the truth, they are too poor in performance. With the addition of Mbappe they're suppose to be on fire instead they struggle every first half of each game they play to get a goal and if they do it will end in a draw, like a first half draw.
They can try and get their mojo back even better with this 3-1 win but it doesn't mean they can get the job done, like you said they are the current Champions and we have teams who sees them as a target so it would be a difficult one for Madrid and I don't think they can win the UCL title this season. But the UCL is still young to judge on who to win it or not and I can't say Madrid are lucky whenever they win the UCL is just the opponent who fail to snatch the title from them, which means they're good.

Yeah, this reminds of the tragedy in 2020 because the score is not too different even though the opponent may be far different but the perpetrator of the massacre remains the same where Bayern is always the main actor Cheesy

Kane always gives his best and his 4 goals are definitely very good for the first game this time although it is indeed when mentioning him in the past who was a little late to come to a bigger club a little unfortunate but at least he is now on a new adventure with a better club.

On the other hand, I'm satisfied with this situation as the Champions League always provides something very good to watch because some of the matches in this first week are really very decent and we can see how many goals have been produced in this first week even though not everyone has played yet.

Personally, I didn't watch the games and I don't regret it. You can watch the highlights later, but for me it's something like friendly games, the price of a single game is too low for me to believe in the intensity of passions. Bayern scored 9 goals and maybe it's cool from the point of view of entertainment, but still does not correspond to the level of the competition. Plus, such results will soon seem ordinary to us, because due to the new format we will see too many games between opponents of different classes.

Strong win for Juventus against PSV, with a superb goal from Yildiz.
F for Milan.

If Fonseca will lose the derby next week it may be sacked.

WTF Bayern 9? is that a typo? Cheesy

It is a very comfortable win for the Thiago Motta team. The  young lad Yildiz is definitely a gem and today proves one again why the club rate him so high, it has been a long term that we see a young player in juventus shirt this good. Overall this win was good for moral having boost after dropping points in the league last weekend.

As for Ac Milan and their head coach Paulo Fonesca I also think it so close that the Portuguese might be shown the exit if at all he drops more point again in the next match, for Goodness sake Milan has won just a single match this season and that’s last weekend win against Venezia which I even thought was the beginning of their season properly.

Yes Bayern just hit Cloud 9 against Dinamo Zagreb with their hit man Harry Kane scoring four goals and breaking the record to be the English man with most champions league goals, maybe this is the beginning of something this season for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane scored four goals tonight. I hope this is the year that Harry Kane breaks the jinx and finally wins a trophy. Bayern Munich is the first team to score 9 goals in the champions league this season. Last season, Bayern Munich was just high enough to see the promised land but couldn’t reach it. Vincent Kompany seems determined to change that in this campaign. The season is pretty young, lots still to happen.
This is fantastic start from Bayern Munich and although i know Bayern Munich is the favourite in this match but honestly i never thought Bayern Munich will be able to scores 9 goals in this match and indeed Harry Kane has made quattrick but i am not really satisfied because 3 of those goals came from penalty kicks and he didn't do that from open play but regardless all of it i have to admitted that today Bayern Munich has done well

This result is make Bayern Munich can occupy first place because in the term of goals productivities they are more good than other teams and so far there was no surprising results on week 1 because some strong teams such as Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid has successfully to overcomes their opponents

I only watched the Juventus vs PSV match and the Real Madrid vs VfB match. But it seems like I missed an exciting moment because I didn't watch the Bayern vs Dinamo Zagreb match which seemed to be very exciting.  Cheesy Imagine there are 11 goals in one match, it will definitely make the match very lively. Harry Kane even scored 4 goals in that match. But 3 goals came from penalty kicks and one regular goal in the 57th minute.

I was switching between games.
I was watching the Real Madrid match too when I saw that Milan had scored so early, I knew that was going to be a beautiful match to watch so I switched, I switched just in time to see Liverpool equalise and just went the first half was entering the final minutes of the game they got the winner.
I expected Liverpool to win so I was surprised when Milan took the league so early.
At half time I looked at the score line and Bayern was winning 3-0. I never expected it to get to that amount of goals at full-time. I only saw the last goal which was the 9th goal because I watched the Madrid game again in the second half which was more interesting than the first.

I must say that the new Champions League format is good because we have a lot of interesting games on the same day. A lot of top-quality matches too. Previously the group stages weren't this interesting.
