We've seen clubs that didn't do well in their local league and neither started the UCL well but played the final of the UCL as they are not always a yardstick, clubs at times could have their downtimes as well, I fear for Madrid, the feat has not been impressive lately. I do agree that for the Champions League, it has different atmospheres and levels that come with the challenge for any and every team, including but not limited to Real Madrid, though they do have a great history in that tournament and way of stepping out on the pitch. Although AC Milan is also quite a big team, Real Madrid is that bigger team, especially now when they are performing with such consistency in Europe and chances are so many that Barca did show Madrid probably the most important trick about getting out of an offside trap. That experience will make them aware much more prepared for upcoming games, especially against teams that play similar tactics. With respect to Amorim, it is definitely interesting to see how he will perform in the Premier League as United need a big change now and perhaps his type of coaching is exactly what the team needs.

Basically the Milan era is over, because I think Real Madrid and Milan at this moment if I compare that Real Madrid clearly has above average quality while Milan's quality is only standard. If this was some other team they face, then I would say they could still have a chance, but Real Madrid is the king of UCL, and they will do their best to not lose any points, so we are going to see Madrid end up dominating Milan on this game.

Irrespective of the venue of the match, I still can't consider Milan a potential threat to Real Madrid, they are both in a different class because Real are superior to Milan in all ramification and aspects of European football and the records speaks for themselves and at such it is crystal clear that Real are favourites going into this match, besides the Milan side are experiencing some sort of bad form this season unlike Real Madrid who have only recorded just a couple of loses this season in the champions league against Losc Lille and against arch rival Barcelona in the domestic league yet they seem more equipped to win this tie against the Italian side who are still struggling with form after a narrow win away to Monza in the serie A.
