If not this season, so when else will Pep and Manchester City players win the UCL title? After the UCL competition this season ends, Pep and Manchester City players must serve a two-season sentence for not being able to enter the UCL competition. So inevitably the Pep and Manchester City players must maximize all available opportunities and win the title. I am not sure they can do it, but everything is still possible because the competition is still ongoing.

Real need to beat City by two clear goals to advance. I don’t think it’s going to happen, Man City will most likely win the 2nd leg & advance to the 1/4 finals.

I'm really impressed about city's win yesterday.
I didn't expect that they are going to win Real Madrid at their home. It is very difficult for real now to reverse this situation and it is impossible to get a win with 2 goals ahead.

Manchester City's victory to qualify for the next round is just in front of me. They need to defend it until the end. Mancity also has great players in defense and attackers, so it is likely that Real Madrid will not be able to win at Mancity's home for the next match.

I know Pep will provide great tactics because he knows how to play in the real CL

Real Madrid and City game could be the most docile game in the all of this leg of champions league, I have lost so many games that losing this one didn't really mattered anymore because both teams were at least good and I could see this one coming. Juventus however really screwed me over because I was really looking into that game as a sure fire win and it didn't happened.

I lost on Liverpool game and Barcelona game so I kind of "martingale" my way of sportsbook and doubled (even a bit more, close to triple) on Juventus to make up the difference and get all the losses back from the other two games. Now not only I lost money on Liverpool and Barcelona games but I also lost more than combined of those games on Juventus one. The second leg better not have any shocks because I may end up running out of money Cheesy.

It seems that it will be difficult for Real Madrid to win 2 goals without reply because Manchester City will be stronger at home compared to outside, I also know that Real Madrid's ambitions will continue to exist where they will play attacking and keep pressing their opponents.
If Real Madrid falls in the last 16 then it will be easier for the other groups to advance to the next round.

Manchurian City do have the quality to win the champions league, their bench is capable of making the first team in most top clubs around Europe that's just to show you the level of talent in the club. I early stated that
City and pep must be determined to advance further and probably try their chances to win since there chances of playing next season champions league game are uncertain.
and that was exactly what happened in last night game. City played brilliantly and I'm positive that'll repeat itself in the 2nd leg.
Manchester City played well last night and the win at Santiago Bernabeu with 2 goals help them to have big support for the 2nd leg at their home stadium.

Real Madrid is a big club in Champions League and they have hold the Champions League records of total trophy winners but this time I think Manchester City and Pep won't let Real Madrid beat them at home.

It was such a surprise to see Juventus losing to Lyon even with Cristiano Ronaldo playing in the match against Lyon, Cristiano Ronaldo does not seems to perform very well in the match against Lyon, it would be a disaster for Juventus if they crash out from the Uefa Champions League this season. I guess Cristiano Ronaldo will be under a lot of pressure in the 2nd leg when they face Lyon again in front of their home fans as he will need to lead the front line of his team to keep on attacking Lyon aggressively.

I was watching Real Madrid yesterday and when they scored first I thought the game is finished now but they didn’t defend and continued to attack.By doing so Manchester City were able to counter attack quickly and they equalized after 15 minutes. Then Real completely lost it so they made a penalty which for me it was not a penalty and they lost the game with me losing my ticket.

Maybe this is bad luck for Real Madrid because they could not defend that first goal, I know that Manchester City has a fast attack and that makes Real Madrid overwhelmed and finally lost at the end of the game with full time.
Real Madrid and Juventus suffered defeat tonight even I lost 2 of my tickets because what I bet lost all, it really hurts.

In my opinion Real had a lot of luck in the match and Manchester needed to win with a much larger goal difference.
I don't understand why Kroos didn't play, he is the best and the most important player for Real in the last month.
De Bruyne played really great  for Manchester and made difference in the match.

Nobody can't realy deny that City were the better side out there.  And yup!  KDB puts the ball wherever he wants it.  Not enough credit on the cross that lead to the goal.

Still this is not my luck if I still lose Real Madrid lose, indeed playing well but in their concentration is not good so they can not defend it they have high emotions so that Ramos had to leave the field due to their cards, while Manchester they confidently will win and sure enough with their attacks produced good results.

It is totally different for Champions League, where they have never joined the final match, even within their recent golden era. The ban (if their ban appeal failed) will last next 2 seasons, that do give them more strength for their next match against Real Madrid. Honestly their quality of Manchester City is better than Real Madrid, they are younger and better. What Man City don't have is their traditional winning habit in Champions League.

Don't put the blame on them that much since the draws has always made them feel relaxed, they get paired to play smaller teams which they dominate and scores lots of goals but once they encounter stronger or equal strength teams they get beaten due to lack of experiences.

Seems that I understimated Lyon without a reason. Tonight they played very solid and achieved deserved win. Speaking about Juventus, their performance was very disappointing. They had almost no good chances to score. Well, second leg game will be very interesting

I was watching the game between SPAL and Juventus on Sunday and kinda made my mind that Juventus will lose at Lyon. When 20th ranked Serie A side can give you hard time, you hardly have a chance against Lyon. Even Barcelona played draw at Lyon last season and the 2018/19 Barcelona side was much better than this year's Juventus. I also think Juventus will lose their first position to Lazio in Serie A this week.

However, Juventus can surely win this fixture in second leg. Lyon is shit in away games.

By the way, who else thinks De Bruyne's arm band was the most irritating thing in yesterday's games. Cheesy

And not just about them and the goals they need to score, they must also stop/prevent city from scoring the entire 90 minutes at the Etihad, the more city scores there, the lesser Madrids chances are. Ramos is also out and madrids bad run continue, they will score in the second leg surely, but City would still outscore them Imo.

I saw a different City(in the UCL)in this game, they played with a real hunger and fire, the ban may just be the catalyst that guides city to the trophy this season.

Manchester City won Premier League trophy several times in the last 10 years. It is not an exxageration to say Man. City dominated Premier League last decade. They somewhat lost their desire to win Premier League or a kind of reduction in their desire for the league.

Manchester City stunned us first with their formation and then by beating Real Madrid, however I feel that Madrid shall not give up easily therefore their next meet will be very interesting to watch. It’s also pertinent to note that both the teams have lost a key defender, and so do you’ll believe that more goals will be score when they meet at Etihad?.

Finally I bet with the right score Manchester City was able to pass it in the second round even though it was 1 goal behind in 60 minutes but Manchester City was able to pass it and reply to these 2 goals an extraordinary victory even a big surprise for me.
I also believe that Pep Guardiola is able to apply a good strategy to his players so that victory is created.
Later on cage at Etihad will be easier for Menchester compared  Bernabeu.

Man City and Real next game used to be more than interesting too but with Ramos red card..ouch! they lost a good defender,
It can be more interesting because Real Madrid has no Ramos that often risks his team with his bad behavior. But I hope another center-back can replace Ramos with his best performance, plus Bale and Kross can play together as starting players. Let's see what Zidan will do on the second leg. As long as the game is not over yet, the chance will always be there. Go Real Madrid!!  Cheesy
