There is no way Liverpool will let the same mistake happen again. I know premier league has been seen "not so great" recently because of top heavy fighting and so forth but the reality is it is still premier league and Liverpool just lost one game recently (weirdly) and that's it for the whole season there, they are one of the best teams in the whole world right now and even though the complacency has been getting bigger and bigger because they have been beating everyone, I am sure the last champions of the champions league who has one loss in premier league will not just give up and lose.

This is the same team that lost to Barcelona 3-0 last year and beat them 4-0 in return, so I doubt they will just go out there with "hmm we may lose this one" mindset and just give up, they will fight tooth and nail to get to next stage.

Looking forward to Liverpool vs Atletico tomorrow. Alisson is out injured but Henderson & Robertson come back in, I expect us to line up something like this -

4-3-3

Adrian

Trent
Gomez
VVD
Robertson

Fabinho
Henderson
Wijnaldum

Mane
Firmino
Salah

Really hope we do it, going to be tough but we’ve battered much better teams than Atletico.

^  Yup definitely.  Leipzig is going thru.  Spurs got key players injured and aren't looking like they were last season and the couple one before that under Poch.

I think they'll need a couple transfer windows to get themselves fighting for some silverware again imho.

Leipzig vs spurs is a very open match with either teams still at 50/50 chances to qualify.
Leipzig has the upper hand Imo, definitely not 50/50 for me, they came to England and beat spurs, getting themselves a very important away goal, they have one foot in the quarter final, they just need to complete the job tonight.

I am not giving spurs any chance at all in this game, their recent performances has been far from impressive and I'm tipping Leipzig to win this second leg, completing a clean sweep, home and away. If this happens, Mou will come under real criticism, if he/spurs can't win a round of 16 game against Leipzig, then why did spurs sign him?

Tonight is possibly a night of the least interesting last 16 games -

Leipzig vs Spurs (1-0 1st leg)
Valencia vs Atalanta (1-4 1st leg)

Leipzig should do the business & Atalanta already have one foot in the 1/4 finals.

Tonight is one of those nights that you wonder exactly what is gonna go wrong

Leipzig vs spurs is a very open match with either teams still at 50/50 chances to qualify.
Where as Valencia has mountain to climb to go to the next round if they can score 3 unreplied goal.

I root for an atalanta and spurs qualifications tonight

from my point of view, both pairs are far from resolved, and Spurs have good chances to pass through, while Valencia also has some chances, but i agree that chances are low, it would be a surprise to see them in QF

my score prediction is 1-2 for Leipzig
Never underestimate Mourinho  Cool

<...> Maybe after the second legs, Champions League will be delayed.
Actually, there are some rumours floating around saying that the CL could be suspended[1].

We already have some games that will be played behind closed doors, (Barca vs Napoli, PSG vs Dortmund, Bayern vs Chelsea), the next logical step would be the competition to be suspended. I honestly don't know what i'm gonna do if everything starts getting suspended, i might actually lose it  Cry

Leipzig vs Tottenham Hotspur tonight,  what's your prediction as regards this match
Game statistic of team

RB Leipzig
Game: 25
Win: 14
Draw: 8
Lose: 3
3rd on Bundesliga Classement

Tottenham Hotspur
Game: 29
Win: 11
Draw: 8
Lose: 10
8th on English premier.

RB Leipzig has the chance to be a winner because has good statistic and playing at home. at the same time, hotspur players were injured like Son and Kane. also, they have a bad stat on Liga. my score prediction is 1-2 for Leipzig

Valencia - Atalanta game is going to be very interesting tonight.
I want to see how Valencia is going to react in the first game score 4-1.
Personally I don't think that Valencia is going to qualify. Atalanta is going to play full defensively and try not to concede any goal.

i do not think that Atalanta will play defensively, or to be precise, i think that they cannot play like that, due to their team composition, it would be better for them to play offensively, but do think that Valencia has some chances to pass through, although they play on closed stadium they will try to pull it through, will not be easy, but it is ninety minutes and Cheryshev provided some hope with late goal in Bergamo, so 3:0 is enough to pass through

Can Tottenham turn things around? I think if they play good tonight without conceeding much, I think an away goal might be in their favor
Out of the four English team in round 16 only Manchester City looking good to qualify for the next round

Italy already locked down their nations. Serie A has been postponed till new announcements from Italy's President and FIGC. With the rising infected cases of SARS-Cov-2 in German and the Europe, I have a bad imagination that all leagues will be postponed soon, and not excludes the Champions League.

It is hard to solve such big stuff but health is the first priority in any case. Maybe after the second legs, Champions League will be delayed.

It seems that with the new law active from tomorrow no games can be played in Italy (still need confirmation but is very plausible).

So the game

Juve-Lyon

and for Europa League

Roma Siviglia
Inter Getafe

It cannot be played in Italy.
Keep in mind this is not official but probable.

Certainly not able to play in Italy as long as the quarantine goes on. The entire country is now under lockdown now after Italy's PM announced it a few hours ago. I think it will be postponed or played on other places in a neutral venue.

And it is impossible for the UCL match to be postponed for those who play in Italy. The game will definitely continue and as you said, most likely what happened is that the game will not be played in Italy. This is really very chaotic, there has been no official response from the Italian government or concerned.

I do not think anyone will risk going to Italy from now on (except its citizens obviously) and the government will not be able to take any responsibility either of what can happen.
+ playing without spectators is a huge loss so...

Fofr me, i believe the champions league this year could have an unexpected winner because the second leg is tight.

City have to overcome madrid, while Juventus has to score 2 goals.
Barcelona have to prevent Napoli from scoring crucial away goals which seem unlikely.
PSg also have ths task to prevent free flying Dortmund from netting in Paris.

Liverpool have an uphill task to defeat Atletico without conceding, i would suggest its best to wait until the end of this round to properly suggest a winner
City and Barcelona has their advantages from first legs. Only PSG and Liverpool have very big challenges to overcome. Their competitors, Dortmund and Atletico are not weak teams.

I would prefer to see Manchester City, Barcelona, PSG, and Atletico to move next. Liverpool is an interesting team but it is boring to say them win the Champions League in 2 consecutive seasons.

After I saw that Liverpool lost two consecutive games I can be assured that they will pass in the game against Atletico and this is reinforced when I think the Atletico form which is not what is used to be and they are not in their top form.

I think that Paris is the next team to qualify based on their quality of players.
