What if Villarreal decides to play defensive in the second leg. Although we know how aggressive Bayern attack could be. All Villarreal needs at the moment is to reenforce ahead of the second. If they can't score more goals they should just hold the game down to a draw and qualify for the quarter finals
They will focus on defense even more seriously than in the first leg. In the second leg, they will start with a minor advantage from the first leg. But they will play at a home stadium of Bayern.

They will cope with more pressure from Bayern fans and their home stadium. Will Villareal manage to survive in Allianz Arena? or will they be destroyed there?

Even though Villarreal got off to a good start against Bayern, they managed to score a goal in the 8th minute and that took Bayern by surprise.
Unfortunately Villarreal could not score again until the match ended, even though Villarreal had quite a few chances. If only Villarreal could score
two more goals, maybe in the second leg Villarreal could play with more confidence. But because Villarreal only won by one goal difference,
it does not guarantee Villarreal will make it through easily to the next round. Because with the experience and quality that Bayern players have,
Bayern should have the opportunity to beat Villarreal in the second leg by a larger goal difference.

We still remember when Salzburg drew with Bayern Munich in the first leg then in the 2nd leg Munich beat Salzburg with big score 7-1
This moment could be repeated in the 2nd leg between Munich vs Villarreal even Barcelona couldn't score at the Allianz Arena
If you compare it based on experience and ability, Munich is certainly more favourite but Villarreal also had a chance through luck, who knows.

Real Madrid giving it to Chelsea in the hard way, What an incredible scoreline from Real Madrid, Benzema doing what he knows how to do best, Benzema is an awesome player. Those two headers were stunning! He's probably staking the claim as the best number nine in football right now and seriously pushing for 2022 Ballon D'or with his consistent clutch performances this season. At this point, he's up there with Lewandowski as best pure striker.
Chelsea FC is going through a difficult phase, which is understandable. Neither creativity nor finishing are good for Chelsea. Perhaps a new formation would be more effective. Psychology-wise, the club is demoralized and discouraged from a variety of angles. Personally, I can't celebrate their current shortcomings and sincerely hope that things get back to normal soon, despite the fact that perhaps it will take a while.

Benzema is really unstoppable at his age , right ? This man is a monster when he strikes the ball and whenever he see the goalie. Last night , we saw why Ancelotti is still one of the greatest coaches alive as he made Chelsea to ruin their own game by taking 1 vs 1 duels against Real Madrid which most of them were lost. Then , we saw Real Madrid knowing exactly what he has to do with the ball as soon as they get it : look for Modric , let Vinicius take 2 players with him and then leave Benzema open near the goalie. It looked simple but hey ...this takes super hard practice in a game of this caliber.

This was just wow actually, and if you see the high points of the game, they mostly belonged to Villareal too. Hitting the post, missing the goal not by much, and just look at the way the chances were created. I knew they were better than expected against Juventus but I thought this was more down to Juventus playing so terrible,,, but this is proof that Villareal deserve to be in the quarterfinals.
I still think Bayern will win big though.
many teams deserve to pass, they often play better and with more passion
but then, bad luck, lack of experience does not make you hit the target
it's something that happens and that makes this game so beautiful and interesting

in any case I think like you, Bayern will win

Villarreal did end up winning the first leg against Bayern Munich. I think Villarreal did well to get ahead in the match at a very early stage.  But they also had a few more chances but they could not convert them to goals. I really don't think they will be able to play safely in the second leg because one goal deficit is nothing for Bayern Munich to overcome. I expect Bayern Munich to win in the second leg.

Karim Benzema has a unique habit, as well as proving his sharpness. Karim Benzema often makes Europe's top goalkeepers forced to make blunders. Cheesy
Benzema's third goal was created thanks to a blunder by goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Benzema's pressure forced Mendy to fail to make a perfect pass to Antonio Ruediger.

I am a Bayern supporter but i don't really think that you can say that Bayern lost yesterdays match just because they were unlucky or because Villareal was so lucky yesterday
I tend to agree, it was shit happens to Bayern yesterday Tongue
Bayern do have higher ball possession and they also shoot more than Villarreal, it's sad any shoots by Kingsley Coman didn't goal. However Hernandez were played very well to defend from Villarreal's striker, he's should be a MVP on that match. I'm expecting Bayern would win in the second leg, they lose because they're unlucky, not they're badly played.

Lukaku should have scored yesterday, I just don't worry myself over lukaku anymore...even if he score scores 2 goals in this match..l watch him in the next and he's a complete shadow of himself, I don't understand the him, his ball control is zero, first touches zero, doesn't know how to defend, he just strolls around without the ball, also he won't support the team
Chelsea lack of striker, they only put all to Kai Havertz as executor. Though I have to say he played very good, but the other strikers aren't played good like him.

It's a bit painful too see that the likes of Toni Kross, Casemiro and Luka Modric are not having enough years much ahead of them, they are the kind of players I'll miss in Real Madrid.
Though Pogba, Cavavimga and Valverde can be possible replacement for them trio's.
Can this be possible ?
it could be but I think Casemiro had a longer year because he is a bit younger than Modric and also Toni Kross
they have given so much for Real Madrid will surely miss him very much.
in recent years they were the key to Real Madrid's good game even as Real Madrid set a record w consecutive UCL champions.
Real Madrid is still very strong until now where they are very likely to reach the semi-finals after winning 3-1 in the first leg against Chelsea.
I think 70% of Real Madrid will play in the semi-finals because it will be very difficult for Chelsea to be able to turn things around especially the 2nd leg will be played at home to Real Madrid.

I lost my bet and lost my money. by that I mean that at the end of the day it's not worth underestimating villareal, they can go back to winning once again that's because bayern itself is very inconsistent this season, whenever they play against very weak teams they manage to lose points, i don't understand why they lose points when playing against weak teams but i'm starting to be afraid to bet on them and i'm definitely not optimistic that they will easily beat villareal in the next game

You are not alone, I also lost my bet. unlike the initial prediction that Munich can overcome Villarreal and will qualify easily. in fact, a Villarreal goal took my bet.
all part of the game, I realized I could lose my bet even when Munich's winning chance was more than 60%. Villarreal used good tactics to stop Munich.

Lukaku couldn't put one past Chelsea Ex goal keeper.
Had a free head and waisted the effort.
Benzema will get it, he's been outstanding in the league and Champions League.
I think he's in line of the highest goal scorers in the history of Real Madrid should be fifth in the standing.
I also wonder why Lukaku couldn't score that freeheader, in a high profile UCL match like that, you can't afford to lose glaring scoring chances like, any few chances that come their way ought to have been utilized by scoring a goal, that was exactly what Real Madrid did, they took their own chances and scored a hatrick by Benzema and vinicuis Jr hit woodwork, Benzema had been in sparkling form, scoring goals week in week out, Chelsea needed to beef up their defence line for the return leg, else Benzema will continue with scoring goals and seem unstoppable.

Real Madrid for me is already qualified,I thought Chelsea lost the domestic league game before this one in order to have a good performance here which they didn't.Real Madrid completely dominated the game,it appears Chelsea is already suffering from the sanctions put to Russia and their owner Roman Abramovich.

Surprised a bit about the loss of Bayern Munchen yesterday night but is a sure thing for me that they in Germany will win big and qualify further, maybe yesterday it was bad luck more than bad performance for them.

I also think that Bayern Munich's defeat was probably not because they didn't play well but because they were just unlucky.
maybe the second leg they will play at home I'm sure they will win the game at home and they will definitely qualify for the next round

In the end, Bayern would have deserved at least a draw, but Bayern was too unimaginative in this game and Villareal defended it smartly. Therefore, the narrow victory is deserved overall. With the result, Bayern still has every opportunity to get into the next round at home in two weeks.

I am a Bayern supporter but i don't really think that you can say that Bayern lost yesterdays match just because they were unlucky or because Villareal was so lucky yesterday. I mean it was definitely very helpful for Villareal to score such an early goal and then especially in the second half Bayern was dominating the game and also had some chances. If we are totally honest though than Bayern can almost be grateful that they only lost with 0-1 yesterday as Villareal had several chances more to make it to a 2-0 or even a 3-0 for them. They hit the post with a shot from the distance and then after the big mistake of Manuel Neuer they missed the open goal.
I don't think anything happened by luck, Villarreal played really well in this match they defended very disciplined and made dangerous counter attacks a few times. Against a strong team like Bayern I think their tactics are very accurate and it is very evident, because if Villarreal play too attacking then it will be very dangerous for them and profitable for Bayern.

1 goal behind in the 1st leg I also think it's not a big problem for Bayern because the 2nd Leg will be played at Bayern and anything is still possible to happen. I think the chances of both teams to advance to the next round are still the same 50-50.

Very difficult against Munich at home 2nd leg will belong to Munich we don't doubt it

well even I thought: "I'm going to bet on bayern that it will be an almost guaranteed profit" and the result was this:

I lost my bet and lost my money. by that I mean that at the end of the day it's not worth underestimating villareal, they can go back to winning once again that's because bayern itself is very inconsistent this season, whenever they play against very weak teams they manage to lose points, i don't understand why they lose points when playing against weak teams but i'm starting to be afraid to bet on them and i'm definitely not optimistic that they will easily beat villareal in the next game

for now what matters is that they can play and then they think about substitutes because with constant rumors of players it is much more difficult for any club to make a plan to hire, because at the time of negotiation many clubs appear interested in the player so it is difficult to say that Pogba could go to real madrid

Bayern would have lost with a very big margin if Villarreal were to take their chances but, they never did. It was a keenly contested game for both teams, unlike the unsuccessful Athletico that played the most negative of football styles on Tuesday.
Well done Villarreal for being the victor in the match
