Villareal played well against Juventus. Benfica has not had a single chance against Ajax. Even the goal came from a free kick that was taken in no dangerous place. It was 90 minutes against Ajax, even playing on the counter was not possible. How is it supposed to go against Liverpool? I predict 2 easy Liverpool wins. Villareal is a surprise, but that draw against Bayern Munich is disadvantageous. Perhaps they will see them as a sporting challenge. It is also difficult to say who is the favorite for the final victory, it is better to say after the draw of the semi-finals.
Villarreal is a difficult topic because they themselves do not fully understand how they will play Grin By the way, it will be interesting for me to find out where the head coach of the Ajax football club will meet the beginning of the new season. Manchester United is waiting for its new coach, there are options from Paris, there are options from the Netherlands and it is unknown what is true. I think that at this point in time, the option of Pochettino and Manchester United is much more likely, but anything can happen before the end of the season.

The Chelsea - Real Madrid draw is really hard to make a prediction I think. Real Madrid's being solid shouldn't misguide people about this. I would like to remind everyone who think in that way that Chelsea won the title the last time even though there were much better performing teams then. It is all about playing smart here. You can't win every time you play dominantly. And I guess the Ajax and Juventus examples must be enough for what I'm trying to say. Real Madrid should watch out for a big threat this time not to be eliminated by Chelsea two times in a row.

Juventus have just disappointed all of their supporters by getting a huge loss like 3-0 home. Villarreal were going to make difficulties for them surely but this was beyond my expectation honestly. I don't know how this game came to this point in only fifteen minutes. Juventus were keeping the game under control mostly but they still failed big time. After the Vlahovic transfer, I was hoping for Juventus to be more successful but they need to be much better than this as a team.

I'm a Juventus fan and I know the power of this Juventus, is nothing near a strong team.

We have a very weak midfield and we were missing 10 players, we are doing all the season with the top 2 players Chiesa and Dybala.

Juventus can be reborn only if they can/will change 2 of 3 people in the midfield.

Quarterfinal pairings have been announced. I think the most remarkable matchup is City-Atletico. Atletico will struggle an English team again and I think it will upset the British. The Villarreal-Munih match could have surprising results. In the Chelsea-Madrid matchup, the team that passed the round will be Madrid. In the Benfica-Liverpool match, the team that passed the round will be Benfica.

I don't understand why everyone as one is screaming that Real Madrid will win the match against Chesley... Does everyone think the English club are bad enough to face the Spaniards? Totally disagree, for me the priority is more on the London team than on Real Madrid, even though Real Madrid are in great form at the moment. The priority is for Chelsea to make it to the final at all

I think the next matches will be as follows.

Chelsea - Real Madrid = Real Madrid
Manchester City - Atletico Madrid = Manchester City
Villarreal - Bayern Münih = Bayern Munich
Benfica - Liverpool = Liverpool

It will be a very easy match for Bayern Munich, as well as for Liverpool.

The toughest match will be Chelsea vs Madrid.
City to win, yeah I agree. Bookies agree too, City @1.45 - ATM @7
Bayern to win. I assume the whole planet agree.
Liverpool to win. Sure. Odds @8.8 for Benfica.
Chelsea @2.11 - Real Madrid @3.65. In this match precisely, it is hard to tell which team to win. The awesome comeback from Real Madrid against PSG might let people pick them but in the first leg everything is possible. Not sure about the outcome of this match but I think Real Madrid will pass at the end.

Chelsea - Real Madrid is surely going to be even the most waited matchup in the quarter final round. I wouldn't be unhappy if we saw these two having a match against each other in the final round too. Because Chelsea were the champion team in the CL last season. And Real Madrid are one of the deserving teams for the title too. And they had a draw against each other in the semi final round last season too. It looks like this can be revenge time for Real Madrid too. I'm favouring Real Madrid to advance now.
Without a doubt Real Madrid players are going to see this as a revenge game so they are going to give their all to win the game, however while this is an opportunity at the same time it is the most even match out of the four, at least on the other three games I see a clear favorite to go to the next round, however in this case I do not see it, if some people argue for Real Madrid to move forward then I think they have a point, but if someone else sees Chelsea as the best team then they have arguments as well to hold their position, so without a doubt it would be interesting to see how casinos are seeing the game and which one do they see as the favorite to move forward, because at least to me it looks as a fifty-fifty game.

Not only their own supporters we as gamblers are also disappointed it doesn't make sense for us Juventus to lose at home
I understand anything can happen in every game but losing without scoring a goal is really embarrassing

You are right about it. I wonder how many people bet on Juventus to win. Because they were definitely very close side to win this game here. I don't know how this really happened here. Villarreal's advancing to next round like this was really a big surprise.

And now in the quarter final round, Villarreal have a matchup against Bayern Munich. I don't expect them to do the same against Bayern Munich too of course. Maybe they would resist in the first game but they would have nowhere to run in the rematch.

From the results of the Champions League quarter final draw, of course, the Chelsea vs Real Madrid match caught my attention the most. Because both
teams are in good form, the chances for both teams are the same, so it is difficult to predict who will qualify for the next round. I also agree that
the Chelsea vs Real Madrid match is like a final, because both teams have almost the same quality of players. While other matches in the quarter finals
are easier to predict, so there is no doubt that the Chelsea vs Real Madrid match attracted the most attention. Although Chelsea was the champion of
the Champions League the previous year, but Chelsea's performance this season has decreased a bit in my opinion. Moreover, Chelsea is also
experiencing internal problems due to the effects of the war. At least it affects the mentality of Chelsea players, I like you prefer Real Madrid which
will qualify for the next round. This season Real Madrid has played amazingly with a pretty solid teamwork and Benzema is on fire, this is a positive value
for Real Madrid.

The UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw has just been completed:

I think the matches that will be more exciting are Real Madrid vs Chelsea and MAN CITY vs Atletico Madrid.!! Liverpool and Bayern can easily reach the semi-finals
 Grin

I think Liverpool has the easiest of ties. Even in the Arsenal game, they didn't play too good but they got the goals they needed to win. Benfica will not be a difficult team to beat Liverpool is more experienced than their rivals. In my opinion Liverpool can easily move to semi finals. Liverpool is the favorite to win, Benfica do not stand a chance

After the drawing process was carried out, one match that caught the attention of many people was Chelsea versus Real Madrid.  Many predictions and comments that I read on several social media stated that Real Madrid was more favored in this match, although Chelsea should not be taken lightly, last season Chelsea managed to stop Madrid's progress with an aggregate score of 3-1 and Chelsea qualified for the final and became champions.  , then the factor of Thomas Tuchel who has never tasted defeat against Los Blancos.  What is clear is that this is a very interesting match, both teams have the same opportunity to qualify for the next phase.

Chelsea-Real Madrid
Manchester City-Atletico Madrid
Villarreal-FC Bayern
Liverpool-Benfica

This are the officially he draws for the next rounds, three premier league teams, three Spanish teams, a German team, and lastly Portuguese.
Very nice to see the result of the quarter-final draws. Looks some strong candidates will face weaker teams and probably have a big chance to qualify for the next round. I only see Real Madrid face a strong team from EPL (Chelsea), the match seems to be very tight because this team has strong midfielders and defenders. However, I am still optimistic that Real Madrid to qualify for the semi-final round.  Grin

Who qualifies for the next round ? Grin
IMO. Here are the team to qualify for the next round:
- Real Madrid
- Man City
- Bayern Munchen
- Liverpool

It's true that the draw hasn't been done yet so we don't know which team will go up against which team. However, before the draw is made and we know the exact schedule, it is not wrong if we try to predict who will qualify for the next stage of the 8 teams that have now qualified. Who knows our guess is right even though it hasn't been drawn yet.
There are some teams we all know will have a field day unless they face each other. I know that Real Madrid, Manchester city and Bayern Munich all will have a great time unless they face each other. If they face other teams, then they are going to semi finals for sure and there is no doubt about that.

Obviously, they could face each other and in that situation only one of them will go ahead, while the other one will be eliminated but even in that case whoever goes to next stage has a chance to beat their semi finals opponent a lot more easier. I believe that there will be at least two of them facing each other, but that leaves one alone and that one may win the title.

I think the next matches will be as follows.

Manchester City - Atletico Madrid = Manchester City
Diego Simeone and Pep  Guardiola face each other. This is a game I'm looking forward to. Pep and Diego have different ideas of playing football.  Which tactician is going overpower the other?

Yeah, I could say I look forward to this matchup than Real Madrid vs Chelsea without overreacting,  Atletico Madrid vs Man City will be a game of two contrast tactics but, it's rather sad that the Away Goal Rule is no longer in play, because I'm sure that would have added a lot of more spice to this fixture.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich seemed to have gotten the best opponents possible, but it's they'll have to be wary of the threat Benfica and Villarreal have shown so far this season in the competition.

Chelsea - Real Madrid

bookmakers are belittling real madrid. how can chelsea have an odd of @2.11 while real madrid has an odd of @3.65? it seems that chelsea is much better than real madrid when this is not true, chelsea is inconsistent too, I would say that it would be fair to have almost equal odds with an advantage for real madrid, but in the end I will bet on real madrid to win This game
Perhaps because Chelsea are at home. I am glad Real Madrid was drawn against Chelsea instead of one of the other underdogs. Underdogs at this stage of the tournament as so tricky. Real Madrid will go to Stamford bridge knowing that Chelsea are the reigning champions, and I expect some sweet revenge this time round.

FC Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City. got lucky, they should definitely be celebrating
This is Champion's League mate. One can not celebrate this early.

Obviously, Chelsea got the most difficult tie amongst the favorites but Chelsea got through this Real Madrid side last season and they will be hoping they can do it again. Chelsea's coach Thomas Tuchel has great record against Madrid too, he has never lost a game against them yet and I believe this will add to Chelsea's confidence going into the tie. As for Bayern and Liverpool, it's safe to say they are already in the next round but that tie between Manchester City and Athletico will be a dicey one; it can go either way, still City is tipped to be the favorite.

The champions league draw is here. I'm so excited and concerned about the fixture between The defending champions and the club that has won the champions league 3x times in a row. They gave my supporting team, Chelsea one of the strongest team in the world, Real Madrid. Thomas Tuchel has a good record against real Madrid, He has never lost a game  against Madrid. Both when he was Dortmund Manager, PSG manager and Currently at Chelsea. Remember, it was Chelsea that knock-out real Madrid from champions league last season. The opportunity is here again for real Madrid, the big question is, can real Madrid break the tough record which Thomas Tuchel had against them?

Chelsea - Madrid is an exciting match. I think both teams are not happy with the draw, but they don't have to be dissatisfied either. They could have hit Liverpool, City or Bayern Munich. That had been negative. They could have hit Benfica and Villareal, they certainly would have had a better chance to continue there. I think Villareal makes a good impression. Benfica has been very lucky to have them through. Villareal seems to me clearly better of the 2, but if you have to play against Bayern Munich then you can forget it.

In the past ten years, Both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has dominated the Champions League, they have both left their comfort zone and are not performing at a higher level like they use to do.
I think it's high time we stop rating them too highly, yes they have dominated but it's time for other young players to sprout out.
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Halland are next in line, but how far can they go ?
I'll be waiting patiently for the champions league draws.
It's not a short time to witness the debut of a soccer star
Between Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Halland
They were so entertaining and didn't bother me in the slightest to watch their Champions League match, they amazed me from every match that was served.
The draw schedule may have been fixed and I think it's better enough, maybe I imagine them in 1 favorite club in the future and so compact in the league. that's just what I think. Messi and crystiano ronaldo I want to see your action again. messi with the striker at PSG and ronaldo at MU even though the team is different I still like it.
I doubt if we have any rivalry as that of Messi and Ronaldo anytime soon, I think players of this present generation are not as competitive as those two; not even Erling Haaland and Mbappe will do that much. I still think it is unfair to say because Ronaldo and Messi left their comfort zone that is why they have not been on their top level. These two players are over 34 years; at this age most footballers are retiring from the game and even the ones they still plays move to a less competitive league like China, America etc but not Ronaldo and Messi, they are still competing on the highest level.
