I'm already seeing Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich as the obvious favourites for the semi finals. But I'm still indecisive about the Chelsea - Real Madrid matchup. As you can remember, Chelsea eliminated Real Madrid in the semi finals last season of the Champions League. And the same Chelsea are the last champion team in this tournament too. Real Madrid should get ready for a tough fight in this matchup. Chelsea are a team that play smart under Tuchel's management. They wouldn't forgive big mistakes again.
Underestimating or not I think there are two meanings to be had, is it really an understatement or indeed statistically have a better chance or can be said about winning on paper.
