I don't think 0-3 is a deserved end result for Villareal to win against Juventus because I think Juventus are the favorite team in the Champions League compared to Villareal. In the end the quarter-finals were dominated by Spain and England where there were 3 teams from both leagues each getting tickets to the quarter-finals. This proves that Laliga and the Premier League are still the best leagues in Europe today, even without Barcelona or Sevilla. However I think the Champions League title this season will still belong to an English team, be it Liverpool or Manchester City (depending on who gets into the final).

This was an unexpected surprise because it was certain that many predicted Juventus would win, actually Juventus had many chances but was unlucky with 14 shots and five of them were on target.
and Villarreal were more dominant defensively who only took advantage of counter-attack opportunities and scored goals.
and hopefully representatives from England become UCL champions this season and I want Liverpool. Grin

I was surprised to see Juventus losing 3-0 at home to Villarreal. It was a very poor display against a Villarreal side who were more than happy to sit deep and leave Juventus to have possession that they were unable to do anything with. Juventus played and dominated the entire game but so sad they didn't win. Villarreal are currently in top form and they are unique in their way, masters the game as planned very well, so they resisted untill the final 15 minutes where juventus couldn't run the midfield like before, so they broke and got their goals. Lo celso was outstanding. Unai Emery has done very great job at Villarreal. What a transformation he has done to the club. Last year they won the UEL and now they make history again by reaching QF of UCL.

Juventus is really wasn't expected can participate until 16 rounds if we look at the performance in beginning. But they changed after buying several potential players such as Dusan, their performance improves but was the change after minutes 75 is a disaster.

This is the match that surprise me the most in this round of 16, I never expected that Villarreal can secure such kind of win, beside I was expecting Juventus to win the match since there played draw on the first leg. But that's football for is, Juventus really need many changes in their team so as to be more competitive.

It's not fair to say that Villareal did nothing in the match and therefore didn't deserve to win even though this match they didn't preform well in terms of possesion and shots but in the previous game they played pretty well and kept juventus in defense for most of the game.they're a pretty good team with an experienced coach who knows how to win cups.
