The game is over now and in the end Villareal even won with 3-0. It is as you said, Juventus dominated the game for 80 minutes but then Villareal got the penalty which was very unlucky for Juventus and their goalie even almost managed to save the penalty which makes it even more unlucky. Then of course Juventus had to risk more as they only had 10 more minutes to score a goal and Villareal had way more space to perform counter attacks then which lead to the 2-0 for Villareal. After that goal Juventus risked everything and the last goal of Villareal did not even really matter anymore. A great success for Villareal but also a pretty lucky one in my opinion.

I said it before the game start Villarreal can beat this Juventus.
Third consecutive year for Juventus going out in this stage and all were against calss B teams like Lyon Porto and now Villarreal quite embarasing for a big team like Juventus.

Obviusly the 3-0 result its a lie. but GG go home.

Juventus vs Villarreal match left less than 10 minutes and now Villarreal lead with a score of 0-2. I think it's another surprise in the Champions League if Villarreal make it to the quarter-finals this season.

Chelsea are also leading 1-2 in their match against Lille and it seems impossible for Lille to qualify as Chelsea have many advantages. If Villarreal manages to maintain a win against Juventus then they will become the third team to compete in the Champions League quarter-finals on behalf of Laliga. But let's see what will happen in the remaining minutes of this match.

I think the chance of that happening is 1 in 500, so we can conclude that Chelsea will go to the quarter-finals. And Juventus? It can still go either way as it is still 0-0.

This match was not easy for both teams even though Lille had a 1 goal lead from Chelsea before finally the first half closed with the score 1-1. Even if Lille manage to win 2-1 in this match, Chelsea will qualify for the quarter-finals because they are winning 2-3 on aggregate.

I believe Chelsea can secure a ticket to the next round of the season regardless of whether Lille can score his second goal in this match. However, the 1-1 draw still lasted until now which had entered the 60th minute.

Not like I expected OSC Lillle to win Chelsea anyway but, there 1-0 lead was a chance for them to try and level up with Chelsea on the aggregate. Unfortunately for them, the same Jorjinho that seemed to have created the handvall situation that resulted into a penalty in favour of OSC Lille had to take the pressure on him and create an assist for Christian Pulisic and he did the rest with his right foot just before half time. Apparently, Chelsea is the team to advance whole, OLille will get to go home and be focused on there demostic League 1. Still hoping on some more goals from Chelsea though.

Lolx...many things have happened this short time . A handball by Jorginho gave Lille an edge and clear air to breathe. This would have been a moral booster for the second half. But it is quite unfortunate that they could not defend the lone goal till the end of the first half.
Lille scored and Chelsea cancelled it and it's still 2 goals down for Lille.

This is becoming more interesting than Arsenal - Liverpool Grin

It seemed to get exciting for a while, but not for very long. Chelsea still made the 1-1 in the first half and now seems to be sitting on roses again. Don't judge too quickly, but Lille can blame itself for not taking that 1-0 lead into the break. Then you would have had an open game, but after that 1-1, the faith is probably gone at Lille now. Other match is more exciting (at least, who goes through)

Juventus have been performing really great so far. They have owned the game literally until this point and didn't let Villarreal have many chances. If the game goes on like this for a long time, the bells will be ringing for Villarreal here. Because if Juventus score first, Villarreal will have to double their effort at least to equalize the score. Juventus defense can be very solid in a condition like that. They are really good at keeping their goal advantage in this kind of situations. But we will wait and see as Villarreal might surprise us too.

I think we will see 2 more matches with less goals. A similar scenario to yesterday's games. The difference is that Chelsea had won 2-0 at home, so Lille must do everything they can to quickly make that 1-0. Yesterday's games had both ended in a draw in the 1st game, so you can have a little more patience to play forward. It would be a disaster if Juventus will not advance to the next round.

That could be true but, i still have to maintain that, with the squad theuve got now at hand in Manchester United they've got to be winning matches. Take a good look at Aston Villa, a mid tier team with very little quality players and good coach and they are doing well in the EPL. Same is what could be expected of Manchester United both in the EPL and UCL because, they can be that good but the reverse is the case instead. Anyway, they are out of the UCL, even Ajax to couldn't make it past Benfiica and that was a shocking one. Good one for Benfica to have come by that late goal.
